Speaker 1 (00:03):
Caloroga Shark Media. Hello again, I'm Johnny Mack with five
good news stories. A Florida woman who's walking her dog
near a creek. It's Florida. Guess what showed up out
of the creek. That's right, an alligator and the alligator
was trying to eat the dog. So what did the
woman do? She punched the alligator in the face. A

(00:23):
nice job by Danny. She was walking her four month
old Shitsu Dax. An alligator shows up starts eating dackx.
Danny told The New York Times. I turned and looked,
and an alligator had him. The alligator's front teeth went
through the collar of my dog. The alligator started dragging
Dax into the water. Danny said, I just punched him,
punched and punched. I punched him in the eye enough

(00:45):
that he kind of let go. He unclamped a little,
and I pulled off, but his teeth dragged down my arm.
Don't mess with Danny. Danny was able to flip the
alligator onto its back, allowing her and Jacks to flee
inside the house. She recorded video of the alligator lurking
behind her home. After the attack, she called the authorities.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission got rid of
the alligator. You know, they trapped it and they moved

(01:07):
it somewhere else. They didn't like get rid of it.
They're not mean, Danny said, be careful with your dogs.
These alligators are no joke. I mean fifteen feet He
came out to get him. I didn't see him. If
your friend Ryan wasn't around, he was probably at rye Toberfest.
Ryan Meetup is a national organization that organizes events catering
to people with the first name Ryan. They held right

(01:28):
Toberfest in New York's Union Square, and like so many stories,
there's always a Guinness record involved. I don't know what
the Guinness people are doing anymore. They were trying to
break the Guinness record for largest same name gathering first
name only. The record was set in twenty seventeen by
the Ivans. Twenty three hundred and twenty five people named Ivan.
Alternate spellings like r Ian as opposed to the more

(01:50):
common r y An are allowed, but last names do
not count, and no Brian's are allowed. The website says
Brian's are just b list Ryan's take it up with them,
Brian don't get mad at me. Previously, the Ryan Rodeo
in Texas tried to break the record, but that attempt
fell short. Wrytobrafest twenty twenty three was attended by two
hundred Ryans. The Ivans aren't even impressed by that. At

(02:13):
the time of this recording, we don't have official numbers.
It is unclear if the Ryans have defeated the Ivans.
Baseball player Anthony Rizzo celebrated his retirement. He hung out
in the bleachers at Wrigley Field. Rizzo almost caught a
home run into the bleachers, but it went off his hands.
A fan next to Rizzo said, yeah, that's why he's retired.
He can't catch them anymore. Rizzo was out there with

(02:36):
Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder. Rizzo joined in on the
take me out to the Ballgame tradition. He sang along
with Pearl Jams, Eddie Vedder, and supermodel Cindy Crawford. Not
bad when you're the third most famous person in a
singing group, Rizzo said, I have one day to really
live it up. Rizzo wore a Cubs jersey signed by
cancer patients visited by the Anthony Rizzou Family Foundation. Rizzo

(02:59):
himself is a Hotchkins lymphoma survivor. I do have an
actual world record for you. In Saudi Arabia, a motorcyclist
performed a nearly one thousand foot wheelie while holding a
handlebar in his mouth. Yes, it is the world record
for wheelie while holding a handlebar in your mouth. Guinness,
what are you people doing? I'm ed afman clamped his
jaws around a handlebar of his motorcycle. He managed to

(03:22):
ride nine hundred and eighty four feet three inches, officially
breaking the record for greatest distance motorcycle wheelly held by mouth.
He held his arms out at his side to balance
himself while attempting the wheelie. The whole stunt took almost
one minute. Yeah. Oh, let's do all the records today.
This one is kind of close to my house. I

(03:42):
should go meet this guy, Jian Xander on October twelfth.
We'll be trying to set the record for wearing most
pairs of underwear. He's trying to raise money for the
local charity Market Street Mission. I know those folks, they
do good work. You see. He was almost and living
in his car at this time last year. Now that
he's back on his feet. He's an influencer. Xander plans

(04:04):
to live stream the stunt on social media so again
October twelfth, if you want to watch this thing, He says,
those eight to ten months were the roughest. Now I
just want to be able to advocate for people who
are in my situation and maybe help someone out of
their situation by bringing awareness to this. Those are five
good news stories for to day. You have an awesome day.
