Speaker 1 (00:03):
Caloroga Shark Media. Hey there, Johnny Mack with five good
news Christmas stories. Let's take a look at what might
be the hot toys this Christmas. The New York Post
tells us the best game is Hasbro Connect four Frenzy.

(00:23):
Not really sure what it is, but it's like Connect
four on its side. They're also into the American Girl
Truly Me doll, a little more customizable than in the Passion.
Can get a doll that looks somewhat similar to you,
while not fully customizable. There are a variety of dolls
styles to choose from, with different hairstyles, colors, eye colors,
skin tones, and outfits. One hundred and thirty five bucks

(00:44):
on Amazon. Who know Golf, pop Mart, the monsters. These
are some labooboo things. I'm not messing with that. Do
you know about these things? The Post reminds us, depending
on whom you ask, la booboos are either creepy or cute,
but they're definitely collectible. Here we have the Just Play
for Real Cocoa, The Tumbling Panda. It's a panda and
it kind of tumbles.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
That's fun. The Spinmaster, Jurassic World Primal Hatch, that's right,
dinosaur fans will love hatching their own t rex and
then training and playing with it to help it grow
from baby to adult. Do we want an adult dinosaur
running around the house. I'm not sure that's a good idea.
This is back the v Tech Turn and Learn driver,
one of those plastic steering wheels with like blinkers and

(01:23):
windshield wipers. I had this in like nineteen seventy four.
This to encourage es pretend play as baby's press buttons,
turn the steering wheel and are introduced to early learning content.
I had this or something a lot like it fifty
years ago. Wow, well, let's do one more. It's the
Bluey Supermarket. You can play out the fun of grocery
shopping with Bluey and Bingo. It includes Bluey and Bingo figures,

(01:45):
plus a kid powered escalator, and you can wonder how
did everything get so expensive? Here in the supermarket. Cassie
doesn't care that you're upset that she put her Christmas
tree up in early September. She says, it's the magic
for me. This is like a sacred room to me.
We come in and we watch movie together. It's a
happy place for us. Who's up to her? She should
keep Christmas decorations up all year. And in case you're curious,

(02:07):
they still celebrate Halloween. She says, we do all the pumpkins.
We're just surrounded by Christmas at the same time, The
movie previously titled A Cherry Pie Christmas has a new title.
It is now called A Wisconsin Christmas Pie. That'll be
out October ninth. You'll find that one on Great American
Pure Flicks. A Wisconsin Christmas Pie stars Katie Leclerk and

(02:30):
Ryan Carnes and tells the homespun story of a Chicago
pastry chef who returns to her small town roots in
Door County during the holidays and must decide between her
dream job and her family's struggling orchard business. You know
how these movies go. There's a rekindled romance. Will they
get together? Who knows? But it's A Wisconsin Christmas Pie.

(02:50):
And the guy who wrote this is the guy who
wrote A Very Vermont Christmas and a Cape cod Christmas.
So you know it's good. Remember the band Striper. They're
putting out a Christmas album, this one called the Greatest
Gift of All. It'll be out November twenty. First, they
have a new single Winter Wonderland. Streiper's Michael Sweet said,
We've wanted to record a Christmas album for many years.

(03:13):
Ever since we released our first single, which was Reason
for the Season back in nineteen eighty five, the fans
have been asking for a full length Christmas album. Well,
the time has finally come. We wanted to make an
album of five traditional songs and five original songs, to
put our own spin on our own Christmas album and
not follow the pack, so to speak. We couldn't be
more pleased with how it turned out. We recorded Reason
for the Season in Winter Wonderland and we decided to

(03:33):
go with Winter Wonderland as the next single, just to
give you an idea of what it might sound like today.
In twenty twenty five. The track list The Greatest Gift
of All, Go Tell It on the Mountain Heaven Came
on Christmas Day, Little Drummer Boy, Still the Light, Silent
Night on this Holy Night, Joined to the world, Reason
for the Season and Winter Wonderland. Over in the UK,

(03:54):
Buckingham Ballas has added a Christmas pop up store. From
November fourteenth through January fifth, The Royal Muse will be
transformed into a festive boutique filled with official Royal gifts,
decorations and gourmet treats. By the way, if you like
the Royal Family my company, we do a podcast seven
days a week. It's called Palace Intrigue. It's all about
the British Royal so go check that out. It's actually

(04:15):
our most popular show, Palace Intrigue where you get your shows.
Run by the Royal Collection Trust. The pop up store
will showcase a range of items from small batch gin
distilled with botanical source from Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle,
to kitchenware inspired by the Great Kitchen at Windsor Castle,
the oldest working kitchen in Britain. The store will be
free to enter. Proceeds go directly towards conserving the Royal

(04:37):
Family's vast art collection. And those are your five good
News Christmas stories for today. You have an awesome day.
