John did you say more mosquitoes? Has that good news? Yes,
there are more mosquitos, and it's good news. Scientists have
been dropping mosquitoes from the skies of Hawaii. Now, why

would you do that? Nobody likes mosquitoes. Well, the scientists
know what they're doing. The mosquitoes being dropped into Hawaii's
forest by drone. These are lab reared, non biting mosquitoes.
Each of these mosquitoes has been infected with a naturally
occurring bacterium that prevents the mosquito from producing offspring. Okay,

that's good and that's it. That's the entire plan. So
the female mosquitoes are hooking up and they're like, cool,
We're gonna make some more mosquitoes, except you guys aren't.
It is mosquito population control. Good luck to James. He
is looking to become the first person to circumnavigate the

sail to Australia across the Pacific to Uruguay, Antigua, New York,
and then at home by spring of next year. He
has circumnavigated before. In twenty nineteen, did it with a
gyrocopter that took six months and one hundred and twenty
two separate flights. Before that, he circumnavigated the globe on

a bicycle. This is his second attempt via boat. There
was a malfunction in twenty twenty four that ended his
first attempt. He plans to help kill time by live
streaming videos and doing talks to classes around the world.
Nice job by Eric Sheik James great nickname. He realized
there's not enough bikes in Milwaukee's underserved communities. He launched

an annual bike giveaway called Black on the Block in June.
He gave away five hundred bikes, along with resources and
food for families. He said he not in a different
suburb kids were riding their bikes to school, but when
you come to the inner city, kids are getting to
school on buses, and childhood obcit is like a real thing.
He received donations from community members, including the UFC fighter

Montel Jackson, and explains Montale saw me at Walmart getting
the bikes just get me five thousand dollars right there
on the spot, and told me he liked what I
was doing. Oh, poor kitten, a six week old kitten
was brought to the vet. The kitten's head had been
stuck in a brick. Yogi was brought in by his family.
He had somehow gotten his head stuck in a brick overnight.
The vet sedated Yogi, the kitten, lubricated his head, got

the brick off the head. The kitten was not injured.

has recovered brilliantly and it's now back home, happy, healthy
