This episode of Five Minute Frights istitled Cattle Ranch Mysteries, Part two.
The second possible sighting occurred in thesummer at twenty eighteen. My daughter's
knew kitten had gotten out of thehouse and I was tasked with tracking the

(00:53):
critter down. I heard some yawingcoming from the area of my brushpile and
archery range. My archery range consistsof a four foot long by three foot
tall rubber horse stall mat suspended bychains off the ground about a foot.
This is all located on a declineof about twenty degrees. I was panning

(01:14):
that area with my flashlight and foundthe little kitten hiding next to the woodpile.
In front of the range. AsI picked it up, I heard
a noise behind my target and sawa bright eyes shine looking directly at me.
The eyes were much larger than adeer or coyote. I initially told

(01:36):
myself that it was a cow fromacross the fences. After a brief moment,
I realized the eyes were much closerto me than the fence line.
I immediately raised the light, butthe eyes were gone and no sounds were
made. The next day, Iwalked back down to the range and did
my best to recall the height ofthe eyes. I had my dad,

(02:00):
who is six four, standing behindthe mat for an estimate. He was
nowhere near as tall as the eyeshine. In the following years, my wife
and I heard independently multiple tree knocks, all coming from the ranch behind us.
Most of these knocks were made betweenten pm and midnight, and in

(02:20):
the summer of twenty twenty one, after the fourth or fifth tree knock like
sound, I went to shoot mybow one morning only to find that my
three D buck had been knocked over. And this is nothing extraordinary other than
the fact that its rack had beenpulled off and been taken About twenty yards
towards the back fence and placed abouteight feet high into a large wild rosebush.

(02:46):
I had no explanation for this.At that point, I began to
set out trail cameras and various tokensto see if I could get something on
camera. I set up a stumpand began with fruit or nuts had at
the house. Each morning, thefood would be gone, but I would
have nothing on the cameras. Ieven went so far as to keep the

(03:07):
fruit in those mesh plastic bags andnailed it to the stump. The next
morning, the net was torn offand I still had no pictures. I
did trial pictures every evening for testand size comparison data, but it never
captured what was taken the tokens. After about a week of this, the

(03:28):
activity stopped around the cameras and nomore tokens were ever taken. Another incident
that I experienced was in August oftwenty twenty one, at about nine thirty
at night. I said on myscreened in back deck every night to decompress
before I turn in. It's alwaysquiet and peaceful out here, so I

(03:49):
was enjoying the quiet when I clearlyheard something very large falling through the tree
limbs. This was quickly followed byone extremely loud thud, which was followed
by a second thud, then thesound of a large rock rolling down the
hill. It was clear to mewhat had just happened. A large rock

(04:11):
was thrown from the back fence andstruck a large hickory tree located about fifteen
yards behind my deck. I mowedthat area weekly, so it wasn't difficult
to locate the large rock that Icouldn't mow over. It was the size
of a volleyball. This actually scaredme, and I went inside. I

(04:32):
had old tools left on top ofmy woodpile, sounds of children playing in
the woods behind my house, andone evening, something slammed into my garage
door just after I shut it behindme. I thought for sure there'd be
damage due to the extremely violent sounds, but there was none. I can't
explain any of this. Submitted byJosh from Missouri. This has been five
