out karsee talk station and Happy Tuesday. It is time
to ask the expert. The expert and someone who convinced
me that it was a way to go Rhino's Shield.
Welcome back, Todd Harville. Good to talk to you today
about the Rhino Shield product.
Speaker 3 (01:21):
Thank you, thanks for having us on today.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Happy too. And I talked to David the owner. He
came out and met me at my daughter's place. They've
got a farm. If I called a farm at it's
five minute facres. But they've got a big barn and
that barn really needs a paint job bad. And so
I got a quote and I'm gonna have a Rhino
Shield for him because you know what, it's the stuff last.
I mean, it's like one and done with this product.
(01:43):
Tell my listeners about Rhino Shield.
Speaker 4 (01:47):
Right.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
Rhino Shield is a ceramic coating that eliminates the frequency
of having to paint every five to seven years, and
Rhino Shield guarantees this product for twenty five years against
any kind of feeling, cracking or chipping that normal paint
usually occurs in a In a you know, a short.
Speaker 4 (02:07):
Period of time.
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Yeah, like on the bar of my daughter's place. It's yeah, yeah, yeah,
yeah exactly. Well, the key to Rhinos Shield not just
the ceramic coating. You guys really really do some major
league prep work before you apply the product. Right.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
Absolutely, the prep work and the primer is the total
success of our twenty five year system. And there's we know,
first thing we do is we get out there, we
pressure wash, and then we handscrape down the surface to
ensure that we have all the loose paint off. And
then we're really you know, you know, dialing in on
(02:44):
is to ensure that there's no uh you know, rotten
wood or anything that's damaged. And you really find that
out when you're well, you're putting a handscraper onto.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
It, right, so you're not just slapping up the ceramic
coating over something that's going to flake off. That's how
you can give that twenty five year guarantee and men,
you can hang your hat on that. Imagine not having
to paint your surface for twenty five years. So it's
also environmentally safe too, isn't it.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
Absolutely we're a green product.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
Our product is made in.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
Destined, Florida and We're members of the Florida Green Builders Coalition,
and it's just very very low e and low VOCs
that it's a bish of smells that any kind of
coatings or driveway ceilings admits into the atmosphere. And where
(03:40):
again we're a green.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Product well also energy efficiency. Explain to our listeners how
rhino Shield improves your energy efficiency absolutely.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
You know, regular paints.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
On home, you know, a tristal home will have one
hundred and thirty one hundred and fifty degree you know,
temperature rating that's on the wall with ceramics. In our
Rhino shield, our surfaces never get above ninety five degrees,
So that's huge in the summer, your you know, are
(04:14):
your eight C bills? Just keeping a ninety five degree
walk cool is a lot more efficient than trying to
keep one hundred and forty degree walk cool.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Now, is it does? Can you apply this to any surface?
I was thinking because on the back of my house,
on the upper rear side of my house, I have hardyboard.
I suppose it's painted. I don't know, But are anything
Are there any limitations on the type of service you
can apply the rhino Shield product.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
We do an enormous amount of hardyboard and uh, cedar
homes as well.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
Okay, you broke up at the outset, So hardyboard, check,
cedar homes check and what what did you start out with?
Because the phone call dropped out there for a second
or two.
Speaker 4 (04:55):
Yeah, the hardyboard. We we do the hardy board as well.
We do the line's share of the stuff that we do.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
Nowadays, a lot of folks have hardy on their homes.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Okay, good to know that. And so obviously it's an
investment because it's going to save the homeowners they need
to paint and repaint and repaint over the years. In
terms of colors that are available, how many options do
my listeners have when it comes to rhino shield? I
know this number.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
Go ahead, Brian, Brian, there's there's fifteen hundred colors. Sometimes
it just feels a little bit overwhelming. That's why we
do our due diligence to put samples on the building
so that a person is able to make an informed
decision and they're just making sure that they're getting the
right color for their home. It's a big investment. We
(05:47):
just don't want to make any mistakes when it comes
to a color.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
Oh, so you're not just staring at a fifteen hundred
pages or fifteen hundred different colors on a piece of paper.
You'll if you whittle it down and maybe pick a couple,
you'll put it up on the building itself. So let
the the homeowner now absolutely, oh that's great. Well you're
not going to regret the decision. Then it doesn't look
the way I thought it was gonna look when it
was up there. Anyway, that's great, So superior expert installation. Obviously.
(06:14):
The key behind Rhino Shield the ceramic product which lasts
guaranteed twenty five years, energy efficiency, savings and improvement of
your homeowner value. The homeowner's value. Man, there's no way,
