In the first episode of our third season, we tackle a very difficult subject that is impacting our children and families in a horrible way: pornography. It is reaching into homes in ways that you would never expect. As a matter of fact, Common Sense Media recently found that 73% of American teens have consumed pornography and on average, their exposure to pornography began when they were just 12 years old. In some cases, much younger.
Our guest, Kristen Jenson of Defending Young Minds, is the strongest voice that we could find in this fight against Pornography's influence. She is an expert on this issue, but she is all about raising resilient, empowered screen-smart kids who know how and why to reject pornography. She is the author of the number one best-selling book 'Good Pictures, Bad Pictures.'
