Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, I am me, and you are you. And I
thought i'd say saying I haven't put anything up on
this podcast for about a week, and the reason being
that I've been totally washed out and I've been writing
stuff every day for I don't know. She seems like forever.
But there's only so much water in the pot. Any

(00:20):
kettle will only make you so much tea. And I'm
conscious that if I push myself too hard, I'm not
going to be able to come up with the goods.
So I've been taking a little bit of time off
sort of recoup myself. I mean, the other podcast are
still going if you want to check them out, it'd
be quite nice. But it is coming back in the

(00:45):
fullness of time. But I want it to be something
worth listening to, you know. I don't want to sort
of like be the sort of person who just puts
out stuff for the sake of putting out stuff, because
once you start doing that and you start compromising on
the quality, quality is not the thing that you're publishing.

(01:06):
You're just putting stuff out because you feel you have
to put stuff out. And I don't want to do that,
and you don't you deserve better. There's too many people
doing that anyway, on the podcast circuit, on YouTube and
all the platforms in general. You know, they just bumping
their gums for no apparent reason, much like I'm doing now,
except I'm trying to explain to you why I haven't

(01:28):
done anything for a week. And the reason I haven't
done anything for a week I've just told you. So
what am I continuing talking for amy wasting my time here?
I think I probably am. What we'll do is we'll
get back to a scheduled thing. But I don't want
to do every day because if I do every day,
the quality is going to suffer. So I only want
to do stuff and I've actually got something that I

(01:50):
can actually I can generally genuinely stand behind it. It's
like being on the radio. When I was on the radio,
the thing was the next guy. You stand there and
say that's it. Do better. And that's the way I
want to approach this, even though there's no next guy,
there's just a feast of other podcasts. I want people
to listen to the stuff that I do and think, wow,

(02:12):
that was really good, and then come back for more,
rather than listen to the stuff that I do and
go hmmm, not on the other side,
