Speaker 1 (00:01):
Greetings and welcome to the broadcast. So by now, I'm
sure most of you have heard the tragic news concerning
the death of Rob Reiner and his wife, Michelle Singer Reiner.
It now appears that they were the victims of a

(00:22):
homicide committed by Reiner's son, Nick Reiner. He was arrested
not long after the couple was found dead in their Brentwood,
California home on this past Sunday. Now, most of you
know that Rhino was an actor, a director, a very

(00:43):
talented man. Of course, many people will remember him for
the character of Meathead Archie Bunker's son in law Gloria's
husband on the TV series All in the Family, and
as a director, he was responsible for such epic movies
as When Harry Met Sally, The Princess Bride and This

(01:03):
Is Spinal Tap. Reiner was seventy eight and his wife
was seventy At this time. There was no known motives
for why Reiner's son committed this horrible crime. I'm sure
more details are gonna come out as the investigation continues.

(01:26):
There have been reports that the two of them were
engaged in a rather loud, vocal argument at a party.
I believe the night before the killing. So whether or
not that had some sort of a bearing on what happened,
I guess we will have to wait to find out. Nonetheless,
this is a tragedy, to say the least. Aside from

(01:47):
as many talents, Reiner was widely respected by a great
many people when he will be missed most definitely now,
despite the the tragedy here of the murder of Rob
Reiner and his wife, Donald Trump has to come out

(02:09):
like the asshole he is and try to make it
some sort of a political rally. When he made a
post on social media on Monday morning that Reiner's death
was and I'm quoting here, reportedly due to the anger
he caused by others through his massive, unyielding and incurable

(02:32):
affliction known as Trump Derangement syndrome unquote, and Trump went
on to call Reiner a tortured and struggling but once
very talented movie director in comedy star. Now, I can't
even begin to fathom why he would make comments like this.

(02:56):
It is incredibly insensitive, in hum im moral, I mean,
whatever word you want to come up with to describe it.
It's unacceptable. It's unacceptable for anyone, really to say that,
let alone someone who was supposed to be and I
stressed the words supposed to be president of the United States.
You know, I've asked the question before, and I'll ask

(03:19):
it once again. Is Trump really that fucking dense? And
instead of trying to maybe backstep from his social media post,
he doubled down on the comments. Later on Monday in
the Oval office when he was asked to be stood

(03:39):
by his opinion, and I quote again, well, I wasn't
a fan of his at all. He was a deranged
person as far as Trump is concerned. And then Trump
went on to say he became like a deranged person
Trump derangement syndrome. So I was not a fan of
Rob Reiner at all. In any way. I thought he

(04:01):
was very bad for our country. Now, of course, Reiner
was an outspoken critic of Trump, and anyone would half
a brain is an outspoken critic of Trump. Okay, this
is nothing out of the ordinary. But again, if you're
not with Trump, then you're automatically a bad person who's

(04:21):
bad for the country. The only thing that's bad for
our country right now is having a fucking idiot as president.
That's the only thing that's really bad for our country,
making us a laughing stock to the rest of the world.
And then to add commentary like this after the tragic
death of two people, It is just inexcusable. It's absolutely inexcusable,

(04:45):
And obviously this is the the product of delusional thoughts.
How else can you rationalize something like this? How else
can you wrap your I can't wrap my head around
how does someone would even come out and make it
comment like that and again turning it into some sort
of political rallying cry, Really, are you that fucking desperate?

(05:09):
You know, the economy is tanking, Unemployment just hit a
new four year high. Things are going down the shutter
faster than the speed of light, and he just is unfazed,
and he's gonna, I guess he's gonna do this shit
to dissuade attention from his failure as a president. I mean,

(05:29):
that's the only logical explanation that I can think of.
I mean, you know, And then, of course there are
the die hard and mega idiots who are gonna, you know,
agree with him. Holy hell, have these probably these these
Trump cronies would wipe his ass if he requested for
them to do so. But here here's the bottom line. Okay,
there is such a thing as like basic decency, stuff

(05:53):
that you don't do under certain circumstances, and this is
one of those circumstances. You know, put your stupid rhetoric
aside for you know, five minutes. I mean, you don't
have to say anything at all, really if you don't
agree with the man. You know, that's part of America
is we disagree. But unfortunately the maga uh Nazis don't

(06:16):
see it that way. If you're an opponent of Trump, automatically,
you're some sort of really bad person. Okay, So I
guess you can't really fight that sort of convoluted logic,
nor should you. I mean it's hopeless really because with
that kind of mindset you can't win. And then to
come out with commentary like this, I don't know. I

(06:39):
once again, once again, Donald Trump has made me a
shame to be an American. Okay, quite honestly, you know,
Trump and his fucking idiot sidekick vice President about a
disgrace to this country, just saying, just saying. But let

(07:02):
us let us move along to the current situation taking
place down in Venezuela and the ongoing buffoonery from the
Trumpet administration concerning the situation. As you may know, as
of late, the US Navy has been attacking and destroying

(07:23):
boats coming out of Venezuela that the administration, the government
is claiming are running drugs to the United States. They're
drug trafficking boats. As a result, the Navy is apprehending
these vessels and destroying them. Up to this point, something

(07:44):
like eighty people have been killed in these strikes against
these boats that have been carried out in the Caribbean Sea.
There is now a controversy that has emerged that tells
us the Navy may have been ordered to attack and
kill the survivors from the initial boat strikes. And in fact,

(08:09):
this is a big problem because you can't do that
sort of thing. There's international law under the Geneva Convention
that you do not kill survivors from a strike, plain
and simple. There is no deviating from that. It is law.

(08:30):
There are no exceptions, and any civilized country in engaging
in military strikes are expected to abide by these stipulations
and regulations. Anybody who issues these orders, whether it be
Trump or Pete Hegsith, the guru in charge of the

(08:54):
Department of War or whatever they're calling it now. Technically
they become war criminals if they are in fact ordering
these strikes against these surviving crew members from these boats.
That is the long and the short of it. As
a result, this turn of events is what prompted Senator

(09:16):
Mark Kelly to come out and state that it is
acceptable for military personnel to disobey what they might consider
to be unlawful orders coming down from above. This resulted
in in Trump and haig Seth immediately jumping on a

(09:39):
situation in which they labeled Kelly as a trader in
a subsequent effort to try and pursue legal charges against
him for his statement. But on that note, I beg
to differ because Senator Kelly is not only a distinguished

(09:59):
vet of the military, he has also flown into space
a number of times, and he is now a US senator.
The man is not a trader, and it's rather ironic
that Trump goes about calling people traders. If anyone should
know about being a trader, it would be him. And

(10:20):
I really don't have to go into too many details
there because we all are familiar with the insurrection upon
the nation's capital a few years ago enough said. It
also should be noted that heg Seth is refusing to
release video of this alleged situation where survivors were killed

(10:42):
on board these boats, which begs the question, if you
got nothing to hide, if you did nothing that could
be prompted as illegal, why are you not releasing the video.
That's a good question, it requires an answer. Of course.
There was also the recent seizure of an oil tanker

(11:03):
coming out of Venezuela. This goes on and on and on.
This situation in Venezuela is rapidly turning into a shit show. Okay,
and to even make matter is that much worse. Apparently,
Vladimir Putin, the Supreme Ruler of Russia, has stated very

(11:26):
clearly that he is in full support of Venezuela and
its leadership during this situation. Now Here is where Putin
doesn't need to get involved. But because of the way
Trump has handled and dealt with Putin, this I think
is the end result. I mean, after all, Trump handling

(11:49):
Putin is much like a blindfolded five year old playing
with a cobra. It's a disaster winning to happen. It's
one fuck up after another, but it continues. Now, let
me throw this out there for you. Let's suppose, let's
just suppose that Russia decides they're gonna send warships down

(12:10):
to the Caribbean Sea and maybe escort tankers or boats
or whatever to protect them. What happens, then, okay, it's
a very short step when you might have a confrontation,
either accidentally or intentionally, and the next result could be
a very nasty situation known as World War III, where
everything goes boom boom, and the boom boom means we

(12:34):
all go bye bye. Do you get the gist to
where I'm going with this? So, okay, let me say this.
All right, I get it. I get that there's drugs
and shit, illegal shit coming out of these countries getting
into the United States. All right, I understand something needs
to be done about this. The drug epidemic is getting

(12:56):
out of hand, yes, all right, but we're not going
about it correctly. This is going to turn into a
war very quickly if we're not careful, And like I stated,
it's going to get out of hand very quickly if
we're not careful. After all, the dunces we have in
charge here could mishandle all of this and get us
all killed, which I'm really not signing up for that

(13:17):
sort of shit. I don't know about you, but that's
my thought on the subject. You know, Trump wants to
play these little games and swing around his orange balls
to show how tough he is. Well back and backfire
real quick. We need a better plan to deal with this,
and the Trump administration does not have the plan period.

(13:42):
You know, it's not bad enough that the assholes from
ICE are spreading terror throughout the United States as they
go about doing whatever it is they're doing and violating
probably more civil rights and liberties that we can shake
a stick at. But now we're going out to impose
ourselves on the rest of the world. It's like, really,

(14:06):
come on, now, this this this needs to change. Enough
is enough? Well, let me switch up gears here and
talk for a minute about the situation at an LSU
game not too long ago. We're a female fan by

(14:26):
the name of uh It's actually a college student. Abigail
Lots was placed into custody at the game earlier the
season because she had flashed the crowd and was wearing
an outfit that showed off, showed off a lot of skin. Well,
I've seen the video of this. I don't think the

(14:47):
outfit was that bad that she was wearing, quite honestly,
but she lifted her top and showed off her tits
to the to the fans in the stadium at this
Tiger's game. She was a rested for this and take
it into custody. Okay. I understand that there are some

(15:09):
things people shouldn't do. Okay, and I'm hearing it. Apparently
some people are pissed off because their kids actually saw
this little flash. What's the problem. You know, when I
was a kid, I would I would have paid good
money to see a pair of tits, all right. So anyways,

(15:31):
here's what I don't understand. And anyone who has seen
like football games and the crowds that attend football games,
there's always like one really big fat guy. And I'm
not insulting fat people here by no means, but it's
always one big guy who has man boobs, all right,
and normally he's the one not wearing a shirt up
in the crowd. Usually his body is painted in the

(15:54):
team's colors, which is strange, and he's usually shaking his tits.
These guys have boobs bigger than some women and you'd
better know that on the other side of the stadium, Well,
this girl was flashing her test so it's probably some
guy flashing his man boobs. Now, did the guy get
arrested for flashing his man boobs? No, he did not

(16:15):
get arrested for flashing his man boobs. But this girl,
for flashing her boobs get taken away to the huska. Now,
I'm not sure what penalty she's gonna face. It's probably
gonna be a fine or whatever. But even still, come on,
get serious, really, so, you know, let's talk about boobs
and exposing boobs for a moment here, if we might.
So I was in Walmart the other day and nobody

(16:39):
flashed their boobs, which unfortunately did not happen. But what
I'm saying is, I was in Walmart walking around, and
I happened to take a shortcut through the baby section
where they had the baby strollers and baby accessories for
your kid and a newborn and whatnot, you know what
I'm talking about. And I happen to see some products
that were designed for breastfeeding. I guess they're like pumps

(17:01):
that you put on the boob and it sucks. The
milk out or puts it in a jar. You know,
it's a milking thing. I guess I don't understand it
because I don't milk my tits, nor do I want to.
But you get the point. Anyways, on the box of
this product for breastfeeding, it had a photograph of a

(17:21):
woman breastfeeding a baby. Now in this photograph or the
kid's head was in the way. The kid was sucking
on the tit, all right, the head was in a way,
But two thirds of this woman's bub was exposed to
the part of the ariola was visible too. So someone
please explain to me why it is acceptable for Walmart

(17:46):
to have a product with a photograph of ninety of
a boob exposed for anyone in public to see, kids,
old people, whatever. Right there on the box. You can
see it hit the boob and the kid's sucking on
the boob. But it's not okay for this woman to

(18:10):
flash her boobs at a football game. And it was
a quick flash. It's not like she stood there and
held them out and you know, I mean, she shook
them a little bit. But whatever. If I had tits
like that, I shake them too. It's not like she
hung out her pussy too, so it's just a boob flash,
and yet she gets arrested and hauled off to jail.
I think some cops need a little more to do

(18:31):
in their time, like maybe go after like violent criminals
or whatever, instead of arresting some chick with nice tits
who just happens to share them with the world, while,
like I said, some fat dude with man boobs is
shaking his tits on the other side of the stadium
with no consequences, and Walmart has a picture of a
woman's boob hanging out being sucked on by some brat

(18:54):
kid on the box of their products for full public view.
Do you get what I'm saying here? I know I'm
kind of rambling, which I do sometimes because I'm halfway psychotic,
But do you understand what I'm what I'm driving at here?
Don't pick on the poor girl, Okay, let her flasher
tits and be done with it. It's not like it's
not like it's the end of the world. It's not

(19:15):
like she shot off of Bazooka in the stadium. It's
not like she squatted down and took a shit on
the walkway or something. It was just a boom flash.
Let's put it into perspective here, Okay, just saying just say,
I think you know what I'm talking about. But anyways,
I'm gonna move on. In the waning moments of this episode,

(19:38):
I would like to talk about a subject that is
near and dear to me, and that is frivolous or
strange lawsuits. So going down to Florida, let me tell
you about a woman who is suing sea World in
Orlando after a duck allegedly flew into a roller coaster's

(20:03):
path and struck her in the face, knocking her unconscious
and injuring her. This occurred on March twenty fourth, while
she was riding the Maco roller coaster. The woman, who
is a resident of Orange County, Florida, is seeking at
least fifty thousand dollars in damages for what she claims

(20:24):
is negligence on the part of SeaWorld which led to
the flying duck hitting her. In this complaint, she alleges
that SeaWorld was negligent in maintaining its premises in a
reasonably safe condition. It did not warn of any dangerous
conditions about which it knew or should have known. Okay,

(20:48):
not that I'm making light of anyone's injuries, mind you,
But how in the hell is SeaWorld supposed to know
about the flying habits of ducks. That's one of the
first questions that is kind of burning in my mind here,
But let me move on and read some more. Here,
the complaint states in part that the defendant being sea World,

(21:09):
created a zone of danger for bird strikes due to
a the high speed of the roller coaster, making a
collision with a flying bird a high impact event. B
Placing the roller coaster over a over or near a
body of water, which creates a higher risk of bird

(21:29):
strikes involving ducks, gulls, geese, and other waterfowl. Actually, I'm
surprised did I mentioned pterodactyls in that? And let's see
C placing the roller coaster within the known territory of
waterfowls in the area, and finally, D designing the ride
in such a way as to disorient waterfowls there, thereby

(21:54):
increasing the risk of a collision. Okay, I'm really first
of all, as far as like the high speed that
I know of, roller coasters are supposed to move at
a high speed, because that's kind of like the idea
they want to scare the shit out of you, all right,
So the coaster is going to move at a relatively

(22:16):
fast pace. Now when people are designing. When they designed
this ride, the make o a roller coaster, I'm sure
they really didn't give much consideration to the consideration to
the possibility that somebody could get smacked in the face
by a low flying duck. I really don't think that
was high on their agenda. I'm sure some of their

(22:39):
main concerns were making sure that the design of the
coast I'm guessing it's a steel coaster, making sure that
it had enough nuts and bolts to hold it together
so the damn thing will come flying apart when people
are riding on it. Just I mean, I don't know
anything about roller coaster designed, but I would think that'd
be like a higher list on the priority rather than
worrying about low flying waterfowl. Now, if you were to

(23:03):
adhere to this complaint and you were to design a
roller coaster accordingly, then you would have a coaster that
would be that would move probably no more than two
miles an hour, it would be no higher than three
feet off the ground, and it would be located in
the middle of the frickin desert. That's about the size

(23:24):
of it. But even then you'd probably run the risk
of getting bit by a rattles sake, which would probably
result in a lawsuit from somebody else. So you're screwed
them out of what you do now. The woman allegedly
suffered permanent injuries, pain and suffering of both a physical
and mental nature, the loss of ability to lead and

(23:45):
enjoy a normal life, the loss of capacity for the
enjoyment of life, the aggravation of an existing condition, and more.
Not reading that, you would think she was hit by
a low flying seven forty seven as opposed to a duck. Again,
I'm not making light of her injuries. I'm sure it

(24:06):
was no fun to get smacked by a duck because
the duck was probably moving at a decent speed, the
coaster was moving at a decent speed, and when the
two of them hit each other, well, you know what,
you had a really shitty situation that occurred. But my
thought process is here, did she suffer like any brain damage?
I don't think so, at least That's not what I'm
reading here. Okay, so maybe you ought to count your

(24:26):
lucky stars. You didn't have any brain damage from this
collision with the duck. It could have been worse. You
could have lost an eye. I don't think she lost
an eye because it didn't say she had lost an eye.
Even worse yet, she could have lost her head altogether. Now,
that would have really been a catastrophe. But that didn't
happen either. I guess since she filed a lossuit, she
probably did not lose her head. And if you read

(24:49):
the gist of what this complaint is saying, there's no
way in hell that nobody is gonna sit back and
consider what is going to happen with flying ducks, or
where they're placing a roller coaster over too much water
as opposed too much land. I'm sure that's the last
thing under goddamn mice. I mean, think about it. I've
been on this earth sixty years. I cannot think of

(25:13):
one single occasion where somebody had been smacked in the
face where they love flying duck now. And I'm sure
if you asked around, if you ask your friends, next
time you are at the bar or something, ask your friends,
how many times do you know of someone who gets
backed in the face with a duck? I'd want to
bet there aren't that many people, so okay. So in

(25:34):
the end, this is one of those silly, goddamn lawsuits
that clogs up the courts and causes more problems than
it's going to solve. It's like, were you're really that
badly injured? I mean, you go a roller coaster is
defining it as a thrill ride, okay, and that's part
of the design, and then the captive, enthralling nature of

(25:57):
the frickin thing. I'm sure that they're not gonna they
were not worried about creating a duck no fly zone
around the coaster, So you got to chalk it up
as a one in a million freak accident and move
on with life. Because's no way that Sea World's gonna
be able to control how ducks are flying, where they're flying,

(26:18):
or what the hell they're doing. You might as well
just try and regulate where the ducks go shit too
while you're at it. So I wouldn't worry about collecting
money off of this, because I don't think any reasonable
judge is even gonna allow this to be heard, so
but whatever, just say, just say. And on that note,

(26:39):
I think it's time for me to sign off before
a duck flies through the window and strikes me here.
I'd like to once again thank you for taking the
time to listen to this merry rant of mine. I
hope you enjoyed listening to me. I hope you didn't
encur too much pain upon your soul. And as always,
I like to remind you that it is free to
subscribe to this podcast, so please feel feel free to subscribe.

(27:02):
That would be really super cool and well, until next time,
take care, be careful, be nice, watch for low flying ducks, obviously,
and until next time, so long for now, bye bye,
