Responsibilities at Putnam
Ms. Saunders is Head of Putnam’s Client Engagement Center. She is responsible for leading Putnam’s
innovative client-centric internal consulting team. In this role, Ms. Saunders is responsible for the delivery
and development of Putnam’s three pillars of value-add programming — wealth management, practice
management, and investment management. These programs have been designed around the key
initiatives of Putnam’s clients and shareholders. In addition, Ms. Saunders oversees the early career and
development program for Putnam Retail Management.
Ms. Saunders has been in the investment industry since she joined Putnam in 1987. Most recently, she
served as Head of Putnam’s Registered Investment Advisory/Private Bank and Trust Business. Prior to
that, she led Putnam’s North America Institutional business, including consultant relations and client
service. Previously, as Regional Director, Ms. Saunders managed Putnam’s retail business in the West
region. In 2017, she received the Top Women in Asset Management Award by Money Management
Executive. Ms. Saunders is a member of Putnam’s Diversity Council and is on the Posse Foundation
Advisory Board. She is a spokesperson for a variety of Putnam’s programming initiatives, including
Women and Investing, Millennial Money, and Leadership. Ms. Saunders holds her Series 6, 7, 24, 26, 63,
and 65 licenses with FINRA.
