This week’s Snowfall Episode 8 of Season 2, entitled “Surrender,” spawns a conversation about the moment when crack rock was having a long lasting impact on those addicted to it. It wasn’t an overnight realizationas many of us would believe, but rather a gradual one… somewhere around 4 years after it first hit the streets. According to Rick, even then it wasn’t a common occurrence as many were still “functional” and others were involved for the hustle as opposed to the high. It seems like somewhere along the way this distinction got lost. We see just how lost things really are as we look at where Franklin and crew are in their divide for what’s most important, loyalty or business?
