Speaker 1 (00:00):
I don't know about you, but I am so tired
of seeing intelligent, bright, shiny people get stifled by society,
by people's judgments, criticisms, and doubts, and by structures that
(00:21):
were never meant to be a one size fits all.
If you are an impact driven female leader or entrepreneur
and you are tired of manifestation tactics, business strategies, marketing
and sales strategies that just don't feel right to you,
but you've probably been convinced you have to do them anyway,
(00:44):
then you are in the right place. Today. We are
going to be looking at how to manifest the results
that you want in your business or life through human design.
This is all about creating your version of success on
your terms. And if that resonates with you, make sure
you listen until the end because you are seriously going
to feel so at home. In this episode. You're listening
(01:10):
to the Aligned and Magnetic Podcast with Lauren Ashley, certified
coach and mindset queen Hey Hey Loves. Welcome back to
another episode of Aligned Magnetic. I am super excited that
you are here. If you have been feeling stuck in
your life or business, whether you are a creator, whether
(01:33):
you are a leader an entrepreneur, if you have been
frustrated with strategies and tactics that just don't they feel
like they're stifling you. You know, you just don't feel
like yourself. You feel like you have to do them
because somebody said to do them, but they're just not
feeling good. You get frustrated, then you are one hundred
(01:53):
percent in the right place. We are going to talk
about why that is and how you can fix that
intoday's episode. Before or I dive in, I want to
say I have started a form called ask Lauren. If
you want to submit a question to the podcast that
you want me to answer. If you are struggling with something,
or you want to know my perspective or experience with something,
(02:15):
you can submit it to this form and I will
do my absolute best to create a podcast episode responding
to your question, your challenge, whatever it is, and I
will post that link in the show notes or the
description so you can go and submit your question. Okay, okay,
so let's dive in now. Before we get started, I
(02:37):
want to just share that my perspective and belief around
manifestation is largely around alignment. Right. I believe that we
can when we can align with our true selves and
lead ourselves self master lead the way forward to where
we want to go. When we start to access that
inner creator and start to trust in her, then we
(02:58):
can find stratages and techniques that feel aligned to us.
The reason that manifestation isn't working for you right now
or you feel stuck with it, is likely because you're
either trying to fit yourself into a box that has
worked for someone else, or you are not aligned with
(03:19):
what you are trying to manifest. Aka there's no maybe
meaning there's no attachment to the thing you want to manifest.
I've worked with several clients who say they want to
manifest let's say, a brand new house, but when they
really think about it, they just actually feel pressure to
manifest that brand new house to keep up with society
or to you know, show that they're successful, whatever that is.
(03:43):
So it's okay to have a brand new house and
to want a brand new house, but when you explore
a little bit deeper, ask yourself, like, what is it
that I ultimately want? Is it the brand new house?
Is it freedom to travel? Is it? This? Is it
that reality? Is that we came here to create a
(04:03):
life that is fulfilling for us, right, and when we
just keep following what everyone else is doing, and by
the way, not everybody else that you're following is actually
happy and satisfied or fulfilled. But when you start to
ask yourself those deeper questions and connect with your true
desires and your mission and your unique flow and your
(04:23):
unique energy and your unique strategy and all of those
different things, that's when shit can really happen for you
because you are in alignment with what you want and
how you're designed to get there. All right, So, without
further ado, let's dive into today's episode. Now, before we
get started on manifestation, you have to have a clear vision.
(04:44):
That is literally what I just talked about. If you
are just writing down I want to make ten twenty
k months without any purpose, without any reason why, without
any connection to that number, you're going to struggle with
whatever comes next. So if you don't have a clear
vis of where you're headed in the next five to
ten years, you are going to want to first start
(05:05):
in my Vision course. This is a three module self
paced course that is going to help you clarify your vision.
It's going to help you to connect with your higher self,
and it's going to help you to set goals and
milestones for yourself in a way that actually aligns with
your bigger vision. A lot of people set goals that
(05:27):
they just see on the internet that they're just like
floating around, right, And when you do that, you're honestly
going to spend a lot of time spiraling trying to
figure out how to get there when you haven't actually
done the deeper work to connect with what it is
that you really want. And I'm not just talking about
a vision board, Okay, creating a vision is not just
a vision board and gluing stickers and beautiful images onto
(05:51):
a board. It is much deeper than that. So start
with vision. If you do not have what I'm talking
about yet, the next thing that you're going to want
to do is break down your vision into your next
milestone goals. Right, So based on where you want to go,
what is coming up for you right now that you
want to work on. I'll give you an example. You
(06:12):
know a lot of people get really stuck on financial goals.
So they'll say, Okay, in the next five years, I
want to create a million dollar brand, right, and then
they're like, well, my next goal is ten K months.
I want to make ten k months. And while obviously
it's really great to have that financial goal, we also
need to look at, okay, like what else are we
doing here, because the financial goal can often create so
(06:34):
much pressure and so much focus that we actually close
off or restrict ourselves. As an example, my goal this
year is to get more visible. I have a goal
over the next six to twelve months to grow my
community to ten thousand people. That's a big goal for me.
And one of the ways in which I'm doing that
is through these love letter cards. I have created these
(06:55):
love letters and they have my podcast name on them,
and I have been handing them out at networking events.
I've been leaving them places around the city where people
can find them. And the purpose of that is obviously
to create something new and different, and it's meant to
create something memorable. And so I actually handed these out
at a networking event a couple weeks ago and the
ladies loved it. I think a lot of the time,
(07:17):
when we have a novel, or not even novel, but
like a good idea for something, the next step is
to actually get it out there. And that's where a
lot of people will hold themselves back. That's where a
lot of people will stop taking action, right, And so
what we need to do is work work with all
of that, and I'm going to talk about that today
because it's really important that you work with your energy
(07:38):
and your beliefs that are coming up. Because when I
think that this is a really big misconception, manifestation is
not just like staying in your comfort zone and like
not taking action forward. Right. The process of manifesting is
actually hard. Not hard in the sense that you have
to like push and push and push, but you do
have to do things that are uncomfortable, right. You do
(08:00):
have to step into what you are feeling called to
step into. And so this these notes is something that
I've been working on for the past year, and I'm
very clear that this is one of the strategies to
not just grow my visibility because I'm not expecting huge numbers,
but to grow connections with people and to just make
an impact. Now, this is really important because this is
(08:20):
the work that I do, right, Like the idea for
these cards. If I hadn't self mastered, if I didn't
have the tools to work on clearing my limiting beliefs
and clearing my self doubts like this would not be
a thing. When you let those limiting beliefs dictate where
you're headed, then you're going to stay stuck right, And
(08:41):
so learning how to observe the limitations, observe the imposter syndrome,
and observe the beliefs that are showing up for you,
observe the self doubt, observe all of it without attaching
to it and still taking action. Anyway, that is the
secret sauce to becoming aligned, magnetic, and profitable. And that's
(09:04):
what leads me to this next step. So, once you
have your vision and your goals, the next part is
the waiting part, and that's where you're doing the work.
That's where you're manifesting. That's when you're managing your energy.
That is when you are working with yourself self mastering
so that you can continue to move forward and hold
space for the thing that you want to happen. Anyway,
let's dive into all of this good stuff. So the
(09:28):
first thing you're going to want to know about your
human design. If you haven't looked at your type, your strategy,
and your authority, that is your very first step you
can go and watch I think I can link a
video here. If not, I will link it in the description.
You can go watch my last last episode that I
(09:50):
did two episodes ago. It's episode two point thirty and
it's called what is Human Design? How I use it
to unlock my business success? So that will dive into
you type, strategy, and authority. I believe. I talk about authority,
that's your starting point. And the reason being is because
if you don't know how to make decisions, if you
(10:12):
don't know how to use your energy correctly, the rest
of this doesn't really matter. Like you can definitely work
with this, But knowing your type, your strategy, and authority
is foundational to human design. So the next thing that
you're going to want to look at after that is
your energy centers and where you get blocked. Okay, So
(10:34):
I believe that each of us has the code or
the blueprint for success within us. If you have a
vision for this lifetime, you have the way there. Yes,
you're going to need to learn skills along the way.
Yes you might need mentorship, Yes you might need I
(10:55):
don't know things along the way, but you have the
path to success within you. And this is different than
a lot of what people say out there, because there
are a lot of business coaches, there are a lot
of consultants and people everywhere that just like they know
the path to success, but they know their path to
(11:18):
success right, And I think what needs to shift moving
forward is that that path to success is only one
way of getting there. Our human design can show us
how unique we are, how different we are from everybody else,
and we can certainly learn from one another. But I
think what we need more of is powerful questions. We
(11:41):
need more professional, true coaching in the world, and we
need more of empowering our clients to lead themselves forward
rather than just telling them what to do and how
to do things. Okay, that is how we unlock potential,
that is how we unlock success. So the first thing
we can look at is our energy centers. Your chart
is going to be made up of defined centers and
(12:03):
undefined centers. So your defined centers are where you have
consistent access to energy. They are the centers you can
rely on. They are the centers that provide stability and
a certain theme about you. You can also look at
the gates within those centers and your channels as well.
But for today's purpose, we're just going to look at
(12:23):
the centers. Now, you can certainly be unaligned with a
defined center. The reason being, let's look at the sacral
center as an example. So, if you are a generator
or a manifesting generator and you are not aligned with
your sacral center, the sacral center is all about life
force energy. Well, you're not going to have that if
(12:46):
you're not aligned with it. If you haven't followed your
sacral yes and your sacral no, if you have not
made decisions based on your inner authority, you're going to
be burnt out, you're going to be exhausted, and you're
not going to have access to life force energy. And
again with the emotions, the emotional center, okay, that is
a center that is a challenging center to have and
(13:08):
to work with. You feel so such strong emotions, but
if you don't know how to process and work with
those emotions, you can allow them to overcome you and
that can lead to months of stagnation because you don't
know how to alchemize the emotions that you're experiencing and
that you're working with. Right, So, when we learn how
(13:31):
to align with each defined center that we have, the
easier it is to manifest what we are calling in
because our energy system is clear, our energy system is
in alignment with the future version of ourselves. Yeah, so
then we have undefined centers, and our undefined centers are
(13:53):
the white center. So any centers that are not colored in.
This is where you are most influenced by other people.
This is where you can be swayed, where you can
take on energy that's not yours. As an example, I
have an open crown in ASNA, so I will often
take on beliefs that are not mine, self doubt that
(14:15):
is actually not mine. You know, just last year I
went through this whole process of questioning who I am.
Not even who I am, but what I'm doing. Is
this valid? Is this valid? Is this real? All of
these questions And the reason behind these questions, I believe
(14:36):
is because I haven't really been surrounded by people who
do work that I do. You know, for sure, I
have adjacent colleagues and people who get what I do,
but I see more businesses that are not like mine,
and so this can lead to a lot of self doubt.
(14:57):
This is actually a conversation I was literally just having
with my friend and you know, she was saying, I
wanted to do this, but all of these lawyers that
were older than me were telling me this, that I
had to do it this way. And this shuts down
our energy. This shuts down our creativity, It shuts down
our inner creator, and it closes us off to reaching
(15:19):
our potential. So when we can learn how to filter
out this noise, how to filter out the energy that
doesn't actually belong to us, we can actually tap into
infinite energy in that area. So while we don't have
consistent access there, and while we can be heavily influenced
(15:39):
by others, when we learn how to feel what is
ours and what is not ours, what is mine and
what doesn't belong to me, that is when we can
access the fullest potential of that undefined center. That is
when we can receive blessings and gifts from those centers
as well. You know, as someone with a a an
(16:00):
undefined crown and an undefined AJNA center, I can definitely
take on and amplify the energy of somebody who has
a very rigid way of thinking, and that can become
my way of thinking if I'm not careful. But when
I filter that energy, I can actually reach limitless thought.
(16:24):
I can reach one consciousness when I'm connecting with that center.
The other thing with the undefined crown or OSNA is
that we can get severely overwhelmed and feel really chaotic
and all over the place. At the same time, when
we learn how to work with that work with that center,
we can also be immensely grounding, right, grounded and focused. Again.
(16:47):
It's just playing with the energetics and noticing right, noticing
how energy is influencing you, notice how other people's energy
influence you. The way that I've been working with my
undefined and defined centers lately is a making sure that
I am in alignment with my defined centers. So my
defined centers are the root making sure that I am
(17:08):
not overly stressed about things, not trying to accomplish too much,
not trying to pack too much into my day. The
sacral center, making sure that I am saying yes to
what I love and making sure that I am saying
yes to the things that my gut is responding yes to,
(17:29):
and honoring the no right like if I don't have
capacity or an invitation just doesn't feel right to me,
honoring that no. The identity center, making sure that the
way in which I see myself is in a positive,
loving light, and that I'm not turning the mirror and
like criticizing myself. The defined throat. I've been working with
(17:51):
that one a lot as well. That one is all
about making sure that your words are attracting what you
actually want. I was having a conversation with my wife
the other night about this. I've been telling her, you know,
like I feel like I'm on the cusp of something
(18:11):
really big, Like I feel like things are really about
to take off and change. And she was like, why
don't you just let yourself feel that, you know, Why
don't you just believe that that's what you're calling in?
Why don't you just keep affirming that right Instead of saying, oh, well,
I just don't know when, and I don't know if
it's real, or I don't know if it's actually possible,
(18:35):
then we're kind of inserting self doubt instead of claiming that,
you know, I have a feeling that I'm really onto
something here and allowing that to exist. Right. I think
sometimes we can get a little bit too stuck in reality,
and I honestly think that being delusional, but the right
amount of delusional and realistic is honestly such a perfect
(18:56):
recipe for achieving success as an entrepreneur. You have to
be able to be delusional and to hold space for
a different reality while also facing not the reality you
want to live. And I think that's what makes most
entrepreneurs successful is their ability to step out of the
reality that they're living and show up for the reality
that they want without being unethical. Of course. So once
(19:19):
you've worked with your defined centers, which often is just
a slight tweak, then comes the next level, which is
working with the undefined centers and making sure that you
are clearing space in your undefined centers and filtering information
properly through them as to not take them on and
absorb them. So what I mean by this is one
(19:41):
practice that I actually have been loving lately is picturing
my chart in my mind and just taking a wipeye
or like spring windex or like rose pedal rose water,
and wiping away each of my undefined centers where I'm
maybe taking on beliefs about what means to be successful
or how I need to operate in order to experience
(20:05):
whatever the fuck I'm believing successes today, and where maybe
I am taking on doubts that are not my own,
or criticisms or judgments that are not my own. And
so I'm just really going through this exercise and observing
anything that is negative or not in alignment with my
(20:26):
future state. Again, this is why it's important to create
a clear vision, because you're not going to know what
is not aligned now until you have an understanding of
where you're headed. So just making sure we're clearing out
all of that energy that we have picked up along
the way, any emotions. I have an open emotional solar plexus.
The heart is all about competition and value and self worth.
(20:49):
So where am I feeling unworthy? Where am I feeling
like I need to compete or compare or measure up
to others? Clearing all of those undefined centers away and
just still allowing myself to come back to a space
of observing. Meditation practice is super helpful for this. You
can also journal. We can also journal around like you
(21:10):
know what you're feeling or what you are experiencing, what
is coming up for you, and just notice like, Okay,
is this mine? Is this not mine? Where did I
pick this up from? Et cetera? Et cetera. Meditation is
definitely a tool I recommend though, because you are going
to start to build awareness and so in your day
to day life. As you continue to practice meditation, you
(21:34):
will be able to more quickly pick up where you
are picking up energy from others and what is not
yours and release it a lot faster. And then, of
course working with a professional mentor or human design coach
or expert like me to identify where you're not in
alignment in the manifestation process will be also beneficial because
(21:55):
a lot of the time we don't see what we
are experiencing or what we're saying right, we need someone
to hold the mirror for us to be able to
look in that mirror and understand, Oh, this is where
I'm holding myself back. Oh this is where I'm blocking myself.
Oh this is something that I say that's not helpful
to my success or that you know, my future self
isn't saying. Oh this is something that I'm feeling that
(22:17):
maybe I need to work on. Okay, So now that
we have covered alignment, let's talk about building a manifestation
practice that works with your design. So, first and foremost,
you are going to want to tune into your inner
authority and your strategy. Examples, if you are a wait
to respond kind of person, give yourself things to respond to.
(22:40):
I mean journaling, prompts, a morning routine, maybe checklist, or
ideas of things that you can do to get your
energy going, things that feel good SOPs for example, in
your business templates, whatever, allow yourself to flow throughout them,
like don't completely restrict yourself if you don't like. If
(23:01):
you like extreme structure, then follow extreme structure. But you
can use your authority to guide you in this process.
Because if you're feeling frustrated or bitter or upset or
disappointed about how something is going, that tells me that
we need to look at where's that resistance coming from,
where's the lack of alignment coming from, and how can
we shift whatever it is that you are either doing
(23:22):
or thinking about how you're doing it in order to
come back into alignment. Next, you are going to want
to choose manifestation techniques that fit with your energy. So
who would want to look at whether you are a
passive or active manifestor Now this would look like whether
you are designed to thrive on structure and specific goals
(23:46):
and you know, working in the exact same place every
single day, versus someone who's maybe designed to go a
little bit more with the flow and to be open
to surprises and to co create a little bit more
the universe in unexpected ways, if that makes sense, Like
setting the intention but allowing the universe to kind of
unfold in the way that is divine for them. That
(24:08):
is all me. That is what my design is all about.
So I've had to really learn how to let go
of the really rigid, structured way of being and kind
of lean more into that divine, flowy feminine in order
to make manifestation work for me. The next is finding
a manifestation technique that will work well for you. So
(24:30):
this could be visualization, and this could be writing out
your dream life. This could be speaking your desires out
loud and affirming them, monitoring your words, your word choice,
and what you're speaking into existence. And the only way
that you're really going to understand what works best for
you is by trying different things. You know, the throat
(24:51):
center might do better at speaking their desires into existence
or affirming their desires talking out loud about what they
want in the present tense, while undefined throat might work
better with visualization and writing. But again, this isn't a
hard cut truth. Everyone can do a little bit of everything.
(25:13):
It's really just about making sure that you are in
alignment with the center that matters the most. I do
recommend that everybody watching this has some sort of practice,
whether that is ideally best in the morning to either journal,
or meditate or do yoga. My current practice looks like meditation, yoga,
(25:36):
journaling usually when I get the chance. Sometimes I skip journaling,
but I at least do my meditation and visualization. I
do that meditation that I was telling you about clearing
those energy centers, and I fit journaling in as often
as I can. And then next you are going to
want to align your daily actions with your design, so
(25:57):
not everybody is designed to wake up at five, go
to their nine to five, and then come home and
like whatever. I think. This step is really about embracing
your own timing, embracing what works for you, and deconditioning
from the ideas and beliefs of what everyone says you
should do or have to do. As an example, my
(26:18):
current routine looks like I wake up around six thirty seven,
depending on how late I went to bed the night before,
my priority is to get enough sleep. If I'm running
on fumes, I'm not going to be the best version
of myself. So sleep is something I prioritize. When I
do wake up, I get on my yoga mat right away,
I do my ten minute meditation, I do yoga, I journal.
(26:41):
Sometimes I also study or read, and then within that
period I'm usually taking our dogs out. Then I get
ready for my day, and I often don't make it
to the office until between ten and eleven. So my
day to day, even though everyone else in the office
shows up at like seven or eight o'clock, that's just
(27:02):
not what is working for me right now. And the
way that I do my best work is by making
sure that energetically I'm prepared in the morning. Energetically, I
am aligning my mindset to have a good day. Energetically,
I am clearing out whatever shit is in here or
in any of this that is going to stop me
(27:23):
from taking action moving forward in an aligned way. Does
that make sense? So I know that not everyone is
going to have a routine that looks like mine, That's okay.
The purpose of this is not to tell you to
follow my routine. It's not at all but it is
about understanding what makes you feel good and again go
(27:43):
back to your authority and your strategy on this what
makes you feel good and what is like a non
negotiable to make sure that your energy in your mind
is set right, to make sure that you are just
in alignment with that future version of yourself, you know.
And another thing that's really helpful with this too is
really thinking in the sense of what would my future
self do right? This is why again having that vision
(28:06):
and I identifying with or connecting with your future self
is so important because oftentimes the current version of ourself
doesn't want to do it. I can tell you right now,
I just sat down in my chair for about ten
minutes and I talk to myself about how I didn't
want to complete this podcast episode. I'm tired, I don't
like the notes that I've written, and I feel stuck.
(28:29):
While I had to work through that and access my
future self in order to get this out there. And
this is a really helpful tool for people because the
current version of us that is living the current reality
is taking steps as the current version of us right.
If we want to change, we need to start acting
differently and taking different steps. Thinking differently being differently. Now,
(28:55):
this isn't to say to push everything and force yourself
to do everything. Of course, if I really wasn't feeling good,
I would head home, but I'm more so just having
like a childlike temper tantrum. So we gave her time
to sit and to sulk, and now we're back here
finishing the episode, because that's what boss bitches do in
my world. The other thing that I want to say
about aligning your daily actions with your design is creating
(29:18):
that space to believe, first of all, to hear yourself,
but also to believe yourself. I believe that if you
believe that something is not right in your business, then
there is likely that like that that's probably true. You know,
there are a lot of business coaches out there that
will tell you, like, no, it's not like this is fine,
(29:40):
let's just keep going. It's a mindset issue. And while
that can be true, sometimes I think it's important to
have the tools to be able to assess if that's
actually an issue with your client. I do believe that
we always know within if something's not right. If something's
not right, we got to look at it. If it
is a mindset thing, if it is a strategy thing.
If it is an energy thing, it has to be
(30:01):
looked at. If you are telling yourself or you have
a feeling or a hunter or something that's not working
for you. That is how we align and take next steps.
And with that really honoring and trusting your process throughout
this whole experience, because you know best what is right
for you. Of course, there are always opportunities to improve,
(30:22):
to grow, and to be better versions of ourselves, and
sometimes it's hard to access those versions when we feel stuck.
And also I think with practice we can really start
to understand ourselves and understand if it is resistance or
if it really genuinely is something that's out of alignment.
But all of that to say is trust yourself, trust
(30:44):
in your ideas, trust in your inner knowing. We have
been so conditioned to disconnect from our inner knowing, and
your inner knowing is right. Okay, I want you to
start to trust in yourself because you, like I have
said before and I will continue to say it time
and time again, you have the answers, you know the
(31:04):
way forward. You just have to believe yourself and trust
yourself because you're not going to get that validation from
anyone else. All right. That brings us to the end.
We made it through another episode. I'm high fiving myself
because I really started to dwindle toward the end of
this one. But I am happy that we've made it here.
I'm happy that you are here. Thank you so much
(31:24):
for being here. Please remember to follow or subscribe if
you want to dive into my vision workshop, that will
be in the comments. If you want to book a
one on one human design reading so that I can
really customize all of this for your specific human design chart,
I got to tell you, I'm so much better at
working individually with someone on their chart than just spewing
(31:45):
information to my camera. Anyway, if you want to book
a reading like that, then I'll link that below. I'm
also opening up a self Mastery one on one program
where we're specifically going to work with your human design
to self master to look at the blocks, the experiences,
the challenges that are holding you back so that you
can really align with your future self and make your
(32:07):
vision a reality. Let me know if you have questions.
I'm also going to leave that question form in the
show notes for you, and I will see you in
the next episode. I love you,
