Speaker 1 (00:08):
It's Wednesday. You know what that means. It's type rawl.
We talk with the aw BATA podcast team. This is
Kelson and I'm here with MK. We're gonna talk about
ae W Dynamite. Well, the twenty three hundred Arena in Philadelphia.
I believe this is the last one of Dynamites before
the residency is over. So let's talk about the show. MKA,

(00:35):
what maats you want to talk about? First?

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Well, I really enjoyed the opening match. Anything with Hangman
is usually pretty dang good match. But but when you
involve the Walking Weapon Josh Alexander, someone who's has usually
great matches, it's gonna be something good. And the ending
really with the next people, you know, with Fletcher coming

(00:59):
down and them talking, I thought it was a great
storyline wise match and a great match overall.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Yeah. The only thing that's that I did not like
about the match, and I had nothing to do with Alexander,
is that you just knew that Alexander was gonna lose.
Yeah when yeah, so you know, that kind of took
a little bit away from it. But then when Kyle
Fletcher came out, Look, I'm gonna make a statement here.
We're gonna do an a w fan Hub challenge. Anybody

(01:29):
that's going to All Out in Toronto and you're sitting
near the stage or the ramp, bring socks with you
and throw them at Kyle Fletcher when he comes out.
I think that would be hysterical.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
That's why I love AW just the little stuff you
pick up on that. I didn't even notice he didn't
have any socks on, which is I guess the fashion
choice he made on his own. But it's just little
stuff like that they make chance out of that that
just makes me laugh.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Yeah, well, you know what, but though it's honest to god,
we just get right over the batch and we're right
the socks here. But it's little stuff like that that
makes it fun. It makes it fun. And it's not
even like I don't know, it's not like controversial fun
or you know, dirty fun or whatever. It's just fun,

(02:21):
so have fun with it.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
Yes, I enjoyed the match as well.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
I was really super stoked to see how well that
they really sell that buckshot lariat and make it almost
to be all in all move for hangman. You know,
not many moves get that nowadays, right, and that move
is super over And I enjoy watching it every time

(02:47):
he does it.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Yeah, I mean he he nails it pretty much every time.
I mean sometimes he doesn't, let's face it. I mean,
but it's got so many different things that you have
to do. Yeah, to execute that move, it's amazing. It
doesn't fail uh as much as.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
He's a standpunk at doing it either, he's he hasn't experienced.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
He's not gonna hurt himself doing it.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Yeah, and you know Loan Paul, Yeah, well there do
it as good, but he's getting Yeah, well, let's go
to another match. I want to talk about the Philly
Street Fight. I thought, frankly, I thought this was the
most entertaining match in the night. Again he Yeah, he

(03:35):
kind of knew what was going to happen. You knew
that the you know, triangle badness was gonna come out.
You knew everything. Yeah happened, you know, But it was
just a fun match. And h the Taz stole the
show when he called uh called sky Blue staple ass Jones.
I died. I was dead. I was dead.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
But yeah, it was a good match, like all this,
Tony Storm puts on a good match.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
I love.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
I don't know why, but the black and White and
the whatever filter they use. I love that that little
Tony Storm filtered.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Just the red shining shining.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Through right right high ways, her lipstick and anything that's
redd in the arena.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Yeah, yeah, I love it. She's a great Like I
said before, she's a great character. Sky Blue is coming
along Gray. I don't remember how old she is, but she's.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Sky twenty bitch, twenty is the best. You know, she's
the twenty four twenty five. I don't, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
She's really good.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
This matches her element. She's you know, she's a hardcore.
She's a hardcore girl. I mean, yeah, I think that's
what she calls herself. But yeah, now she's gonna be
called staple ass Jones. I'm sorry, She's just she's gonna
be staple ass Jones to be for the rest of
her life. Uh yeah. And you know, when when the

(04:59):
Triangle man Is came out, that was really cool. I
liked that they were dominant and that when everybody rushed
in that they didn't bail out. They stood their ground.
I liked that. And the other thing I liked is
is that, look, Julia Hart's been getting the crap beat
out of her for the last several weeks and she

(05:23):
held her own tonight and that was good. Uh, you know,
I just thought it was a good, good match. I
thought it was a good ending thing.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Yeah, I really enjoy, you know, any match that the
women's put on, but Tony Storm and her put on
a good master to get the gate to have great chemistry,
I feel like and and it's building to something better.
I like that Jamie Hayderk really came out and cleared
clear the ring and making her still feel strong, but

(05:55):
yet she's still trying to come back.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
And do her thing.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
I don't see Jamie Hater winning, but I really do
feel like they put her over strong as well.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Yeah, you know, the only thing that kind of was
a little bit confusing. And I know we're going to
talk about the main event, but I think it goes
along the same lines where Chris Statler came out, came
out and it was a baby pace tonight.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
So if she's gonna be a death writer, she probably
would not have done that. Yeah, you know, so, so
that was interesting. By the way, Chris Statlander earlier today
announced that she had an announcement to make tomorrow, so

(06:44):
that's gonna be interesting. I don't know where she's making
the announcement, whether she's gonna do it on x or
on Instagram or what, but she did say she has
she has an announcement to make tomorrow. We'll see, mm hmm,
We'll see what happens. She didn't say that anything about
wrestling when she the picture that she took with it.

(07:06):
I believe she was wearing wrestling gear or something. But
you know, it'll be interesting anyway. What do we want
to talk about next?

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Well, the well, the main event was good storyline wise.
It's one of them cluster matches that I know you
don't really light multimn matches. And of course I don't
know why, but it's weird to me that you're throwing
out money for a for a victory, for the for
winning a match. I don't understand. That makes me feel

(07:39):
like you don't pay your wrestlers enough.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
I don't know why. It makes me think.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
I know, I get it, you know, it just kind
of gives it a little bit of an oh, you know,
because let's face it, if you go back and you
look at the last several dynamites and the last several collisions,
the dynamites have all had multi man matches, and the
Collisions have all had multi women matches, and frankly, I'm

(08:09):
bored of them. I really am. I think I think
there are a total complete waste of time. For example,
I didn't watch this match. I had the TV on
with the volume muted, and I just kept kind of
glancing up to see if it was over, because you
knew something was going to happen after the match was over.
And that's the only reason why, you know, that's the

(08:31):
only reason I even paid attention to it. I didn't
care who won this match. I didn't care who had
five hundred thousand dollars, you know, in their pockets afterward.
I cared about what was going to happen afterwards. You know,
AW has a pension of making matches that aren't really
interesting matches because you know something better is going to

(08:54):
happen at the end. And we did get something good
at the end.

Speaker 3 (08:59):
Yes, I thought it was good. Yeah, I think it's good.
I just I don't know.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Like I've said multiple times, I just don't enjoy the
Death Writers as much as everyone else does. It's interesting
to see where Daniel Garcia is gonna go with this.
I don't know why they think that they need that
he needs to join with the Death Writers necessarily because
I think he could stand on his own as a heel.
But he's just going from one faction to the next,
one mentor to the next. So I think at some

(09:27):
point you're gonna have to make Garcia stand on his
own and then it's good. But yeah, and again we're
adding more people to yet another faction I think needs
to go away.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
But I don't know how you feel about that.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Yeah, I have, I have not had look with the
Death Riders in the couple of months before All In
that storyline did pick up, But from say October twenty
twenty four to I don't know, oh May of twenty

(10:02):
twenty five, it was, you know, frankly, it was dog shit. Yeah,
and you know, it got off to a really great start,
died out quickly and just became repetitive and boring. And
once you'll lose me, you got to do a lot
to get me back.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
Yeah, you know.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
And I you know, when it came to all In
the Hangman Adam Paige and the John Moxley match, I
was I can't say I wasn't looking forward to that match.
I had dread going into that match, because I honestly
thought that if Hangman Adam Paige did not win the

(10:43):
title in that match, I may have just said the
hell with it with aw.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
Yeah, I agree.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
I was with Hermerson that way, and the arena kind
of felt that way too when I was there.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
Oh yeah, there was. There was a lot of dread.
You could see it. But anyway, let's let's move on
to our potporix. Uh, there are some things you want
to talk about that happened tonight.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
Yeah, Well, the main thing is I touched. I touched
on a last night when I was on there. I'm
just I just honestly don't understand why they're running this
hook situation and making it like it's a big deal
the hook as an upset. I just he's not the
guy to put on a middle of a show. I
really feel like he needs to go.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
Down to Ring of Honor.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Do some things work on a skill or or something
in the Trio's division. I don't care about the ops anymore.
I really don't. The Trio's title could go away and
I would be a happy camper.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
I think he just keeps it.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
I think Tony just keeps it around for the Staller's
reasons or something in that fact, because there's two different
you know's Ring of Honor trios and then there's these
trios and I just don't want to see CSMLO.

Speaker 3 (11:57):
Joe has better things.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
To do than to be involved with a storyline with Hook,
And I don't get what Hook is soap popular.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
I really don't.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
I don't know. I mean, I don't dislike Hook, but
he's just kind of one of those guys that's there
for me.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
He's not intimidating. He looks not intimidating.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
He literally looks like the little guy from Mike Tyson's
Punch Out to me.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
He just he doesn't.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
I'm not intimidated by him. His move set is kind
of dull. I think there's a lot of room for improvement.
And he's been here for five years.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Yeah. Well, if you remember, he did that vignette and
towards the end of the vignette, actually, at the end
of the vignette, he basically alluded to that. He sounded
like he was alluding to the fact that he may
be joining somebody else. Okay, you know, And so when

(12:58):
Daniel Garcia came out with the hood up which I
don't know, why do you do that. It's not like
he's not going to take the hood off. Why does
he come with the hood up? But anyway, but what
he did on the hood up, this is one of
the first times that was kind of kind of effective
because when you look at Daniel Garcia at Hook standing
side by side, if you can't see their faces, they

(13:20):
kind of look alike, you know what I mean, they
have the same But so for a split second there,
I thought it was Hook and not Daniel Garcia that
had the hood up. The other thing on X after
the Hook vignette, I actually posted on X on the

(13:41):
aw fat hub X account saying well, I can't remember
exactly what I put, but I was like, I shared
All Wrestling's video of the vignette and I said, basically, well,
it's official Hook is joining the triangle madness. Uh. I

(14:04):
thought it was funny.

Speaker 3 (14:05):
I was on fire.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
I came up with the I posted about Staples Jones,
I came up with the sock thing. Uh. You know,
I was off a roll tonight on X. But anyway, yeah,
any other potpourrisa.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
You have, no I enjoyed it, but for the last
three weeks it's been an okay show, but if nothing
has been super spectacular, and I know they're losing a
lot of people for injuries and stuff. It's been solid,
but I really missed the good, good shows that they
used to have.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
Yeah, I do want to do a little bit of
a kudos to m j F and the vignette that
he had at the Best Age segment. I like that,
m j F. Yeah, uh, you know, and port Tits McGee.
Uh you know missus Friedman. Now uh, he just kind

(15:00):
of yeah Tits Breedman just threw her under the bush.
But it was effective. I like that MJF.

Speaker 3 (15:09):
I don't want Tinge to it.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
Yeah, But the other thing I liked about it was
that he wasn't backing down. I really don't like MGF
being the uh, you have to catch me to hurt
me first. I like him when he's right in your face.
Come on, do it when you come up with the stipulation.
The answer is yes, I you know, you know I

(15:34):
like that. You know I I do like that. So
that's what I want from the Heel. I don't want
the heel to be a cowardly heel. Death. It's been
done to death and you're writing, I mean, he's a pillar.
He's an excellent wrestler. You know, he's a great talent,
act like it.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
So who do you? I got a question for you.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
Do you think that Kyle Fletcher is kind of almost
catching up with MJF on the hill line? Because I
think minus the thought thing that I think he has,
that Fletcher has the aura that I really like about
a heel.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
You know, he looks like a bad guy. He was quiet,
he'd have to do a whole lot of yelling.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
I think Fletcher is slowly catch me up to MJF
in the heel departments.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
He's far behind to MGFU to me, but MGF, I
keep I have him on a totally different level than
anybody else anyway. Uh So what I say he's far
behind MGF, he's still damn good. And I agree with
you about the aura. Kyle Fletcher doesn't need to yell
and scream and curse and everything like that to be

(16:47):
an effective heel. He just needs to be Kyle. He
just looks like a heel. I mean, Kyle Fletcher looks
like heel, but by the same token, if he was
to turn face to me, he looked like a face.
You know what I mean, it's Kyle Fletcher has He
just has that certain aura u A.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
He really does.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
I mean when it comes to the end of year awards,
I wouldn't be shocked if Kyle Fletcher got some boats
for a w Wrestler of the Year or even liked
even at this point. Last year he won Most Improved
Wrestler of the Year. I think he's approved by big
I think he's improved exponentially beyond what he did last year.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
I really do agree that he is coming out of
a shell a little bit. I think maybe this him
being in the center of stuff and letting you know,
Squerves not there. Osprey's not there, so he has step
up his game and he's forced to. And I really
think he's doing good. I didn't like I know it's
a nitpick, but I I personally didn't like him in

(17:54):
uh in this suit. He looked like someone's butler to me. Uh,
that's just a small it pick, I know, but.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
He he's got to be flashy. I think he needs
to be flashy.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
I love those shades that he has and stuff like that.
That's what I like about him. Him and Ace Austin's
confued over sunglasses. But but but he has that or
of coolness and I didn't think the suit did him
any favors, and especially not wearing socks.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
But that was kind of a.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
Just a catch all mood that's gonna get him over
anymore than already is.

Speaker 1 (18:31):
So yeah, well here's the thing, Kyle Fletcher hanging at
him page at all out. Will Kyle Fletcher win this match?
Don't answer that question, because we're going to answer that
question Tuesday night on Ignition. Join us on our discord
eight forty five Eastern time, and we're doing our all

(18:53):
out preview and prediction show. They're always fun. We always
laugh and have a good time, come up with some
crazy scenarios. It's not just about who's going to win
and who's going to lose. It's about what happens, what's
gonna happen, you know, and well look it's just gonna
be fun. MK, thanks for joining tonight. Fun and uh

(19:20):
let's end the show with giving this show a grade,
you know, between a school go school grade grade A
beating the best and F being the worst.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
I give it. I give it a be a solid B.
It was.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
It was good it wasn't exceptional, but it got the message.
Storyline wise, I think we really pushed the main fuse
that needed to be pushed and headed in all all
out with we we got curve thrown in there. I'll
give it maybe a B plus because the turf thrown
it at the main event, but B plus as high
as I'll go.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
Yeah, I'm going to give it a B too. I'm
not going to give it a B plus. I'm gonna
give it a B. I thought it was a solid show.
Uh didn't have the big star power and I think that.
You know, again, this is just my personal preference. I
am just not a fan of I'm not a fan
of trios matches better yet four on four or five
on five. Yeah, I agree with what you said earlier.

(20:16):
The trios, the trios titles just need to go away. Yeah,
I have no interest in them really at all. I
haven't had interest in them since the House of Black
had them. And remember it was that the Elite had
their their series of matches with Death Triangle. But even that,

(20:36):
those are some good matches. But you knew it was
going to go to seven. Remember it was of seven.
You knew it was going to be tied to three
and three, and that kind of took away from the
from the matches because you knew they were just going
to go back and forth, because that's the way it was.
They were fantastic matches, but by the end the I
kind of just wanted it to be over. And really,

(20:57):
when the House of Black lost the Trios matches to
the acclaimed Billy Gunn, I think it was at all
in the first all in, I think that was pretty
much the end, yeah, of my interest in the Trios
Trio's belts, because they've really not done much with them

(21:18):
since then. But anyway, join us Tuesday night, eighty five
Eastern time on our discord, all right, look forward to it,
and I think we may get a couple more matches
at Collision, so we'll have some more to talk about.
But anyway, again, thank you for joining again. MKA. This

(21:42):
is Kelson. Good night, everybody,
