Speaker 1 (00:06):
It's Wednesday. You know what that means. It's time for
all lead talk with the aw fan Hub podcast team.
I'm here with Net and Sect and we're going to
talk about ae W Dynamite, where we went into sudden
depth depth, sudden death overtime and we almost made it.
We almost made it to the end of the show

(00:29):
without Excalibur talking about how many feet of Kenny avegas
and testins were removed, but we didn't quite get there.
We're going to talk at about the eight man tag match.
We're going to talk about the Mercedes Monde and Alex
Windsor match, and we're going to talk about the goings
on between the hurt said to get in Ricochet at

(00:52):
the Gates of Agony. But let's start with the eight
man tag It was the main event of the show.
What did you guys think of this? And by the way,
Bear he has graced us with his presence as well.
What'd you guys think of this match?

Speaker 2 (01:09):
It's great?

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Yeah, go ahead?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
And Net, oh, well, yeah, I thought it was great.
I'm always happy to see Hangman and Kenny back together,
and I just thought it was it was just good.
I wish they'd leave Kenny and his his mid section alone.
But other than that, we're good. We're good.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
We almost made it that, we almost made it.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Almost, But I don't I don't think ex Caliber can
help himself at this point.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
I don't think so. I think he's obsessed. I really do.
He needs a drop for that. What about you Burying Sect?
What did you guys? What did you guys think of
this match? I'd blast.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
I thought this was exactly the type of stuff you
want to see as a main event. A lot of
really fun spots, some of the best ingring perform as
you've got on the roster, a really exciting match, a
fun way to end it go. It's the type of
stuff you want to see when you don't have any
sort of title stuff on the line. You just want
to get your top people out there to put on
a great banger and make everybody go home.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Pappy, Yeah, were was it edy? Any of you worried
about Kyle Fletcher's left shoulder because I don't know, it
was just a cup, but it kind of looked a
little bit more serious than that.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
You know, he was holding it a little bit. I
think Kyle is such a pro I think that was
just selling what was clearly an issue like a minor injury,
but he made sure to walk past the crowd at
ringside showing off a cut in the blood. So until
I hear otherwise, I think he's probably fine.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Sect. What did you think of this match?

Speaker 4 (02:47):
It was really good, to be honest, I of course
when Natt said, I really loved that Hangman and a
Hangman in Omega return return back as a team. I
missed him as a tig team so much, even though
they had to like their ifs and ands almost their

(03:07):
full extended history with each other.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Yeah, no, I agree with you, and I do you
think that they should have played that up but even
a little bit more than they did even leading up
to the match. I feel like so oh sorry, no, no, no,
I asked you a question. I was waiting for you
to answer it.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
Oh look, yeah, I feel like that. I feel I
feel like that could be like a little bit more
talk about since I feel like that since Hangman and
Omega is still even though like maybe maybe here and there,
since hay Hangman, since Hayman probably probably should like maybe

(03:53):
maybe you should like have like Trush maybe sometimes like
maybe he doesn't know sometimes maybe he doesn't know sometimes
times that you like media like betrayed him.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Yeah, I look, you know, normally I don't like eight
man tag teams. I don't like multiman or multi women
tag team matches or events or whatever you want to
call them. And I do feel like AAW has done
this kind of match way too much. It seems like
it's been done every week. This one was one of

(04:27):
the better ones. I am concerned about, how you know,
I know, we kind of made a light of it
with Nett, you know, wish they'd leave. Can you o
make his abdomen alone? But it just seems like they've
done this before. I want to see something a little
bit new. You got eight, You got eight wrestlers out there.

(04:48):
Of course with the don kallis rappily, it's more like twelve.
But I just want to see something new. But let's
move on. We're going to talk about the Hurt Syndicate
being challenged to buy rich clichet the Gates of Agony.
Looks like this is going to happen at all out
What do you guys think about this? Is this something

(05:09):
that you're looking forward to? This is one of those
things where there's not going to be a title involved
in this. This is just a pure I don't know,
grudge rivalry, whatever you want to call it. What do
you guys think?

Speaker 3 (05:23):
I think this should be a number one contenders matched
for the Trios title.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Very good points because we haven't had anything that. Would
you agree that we need to do something with the
trios titles?

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Yeah, and this is something we were chatting about too.
I can't remember them the show once there, just on
the discord, but like, who are the challengers?

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Right?

Speaker 3 (05:44):
We don't line up that next person or that next
team to take on these belts, and we've got two
three man teams. There is no reason you can't position
Riccochet and Dates of Agony as the number one contenders
for the Trios belts. I think it's great for them,
gets titles on them. That division, there is no division.
They Tony brought those belts out, I think for the

(06:05):
elite and then just just like oh now I got
to do a division with him. It's like, use the
people you've got. You got two three man teams here,
use them. Make this a number one or number one
contenders match. Give it a little bit more juice, give
it a little more importance on the card and that's
all you need to do.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
You know, we started this, Barry, I was thinking, wait
a minute, who are the Trios champions? Oh? Yeah, the Ops? Yeah?
What you have to think about who one of your
champions are? You know that it's not being done correctly? Yeah?
What about? What about everybody else saw that? What did
you think of this?

Speaker 2 (06:44):
I like the idea of this match. I actually think
it's going to be really, really good. I think it
should be a contender match too. They really need to
get some heat on those Trios titles because the Ops
keep running around rescuing other people, but they need to
do some defense of their own championship. So I'd like

(07:09):
to see it.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
There's another component too that I want to bring up
here that we haven't really seen. When Heart Syndykidd first
came into a W there was a lot of interest
in how they would interact with the Death Writers, and
we never really got to see that, And I would
like to see get you know, and with them in there,
Especially since the Ops and everybody is feuding with the
death Writers and stuff. You've got a really interesting way

(07:32):
to bring all four of these factions together and get
some of those moments we haven't yet I really want
to see how that Hurt Cyndy Kidd interacts with the
Death Writers.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
You know, well, Barry, would you be upset if at
all out this wasn't a maybe a one on one
games match, but maybe a three teams or even a
four games match.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
For Detroit, like a nine or twelve man match. Yeah,
like a twelve bad the Tornado or something. I wouldn't
be opposed to that, But I think it's better if
we just focus on the Rick Asheton and the Gates
of Agony, Like, if that's the push, don't don't cloud that.
Just keep the focus on them and the Hurt Syndicate.
Let them tell their story, but weave that through the

(08:15):
other trios because you've got ops feuding with death Writers.
So if Ricochet and the Gates of Agony goes, do
they have a team name yet? Did they say one yet?
Did I miss it? Is there a team for them?
A name all?

Speaker 2 (08:26):
I don't think so.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
No. I think somebody had mentioned one and I missed it.
But like you know, the opst of the titles, they're
feuding with death Writers and stuff, so obviously Rickasheton and
them are going to and Gates of Agony are going
to interact with the Ops and therefore the death writers. Like,
I think you're onto something. Those four teams. You can
run a division off four teams. I mean that's twelve people.

(08:49):
There's plenty there to do stuff with. So I'm with you, Kelson.
I don't think it needs to be a three team
or a four team title match. But there's your there's
your division with those four teams, cycle gets the number
one contenders, do something with it.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
Yeah, Seck, what what are your thoughts about this? What
do you think should happen here?

Speaker 4 (09:10):
I think I already know who might win the match.
It all out O tell, since well I know the
I know the Heart sign recently lost their tag team
championship to bring H Brody, Keane and Bandido. But I
feel like I feel like they're gonna win this to
go back to like their most dominant dominant wind streak, right,

(09:35):
like have a dominic winning streaking the trios tagting division
since well it was it was like so long before
we could have seed the Hearst the Heart Singing Hursts
gets almost lost the titles, like lost their tag ting titles,
like and how how much along of a winch win

(09:57):
streak like it was like pretty long.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
Yeah, yeah, I mean it's gonna be interesting. Well, let's
move on because we're trying to keep this quick. We've
got to talk about Mercedes Monet and Alex Windsor. I
thought that this was a really good match, and I
don't know about you guys, but I thought it was
going to go to a time limit draw but it didn't.
But I think the most important thing that came out

(10:23):
of this match, other than Mercedes Monett retaining, is poor
Jim Cornett is probably having a coronarya as we speak.
Rijo is back and it has been confirmed that it
is going to be ReHO versus Mercedes Monette at all
out for the TBS Championship. What do you guys think

(10:46):
about this? Really fantastic go ahead Nette?

Speaker 2 (10:54):
Oh well, I think it's just fantastic. I'm glad to
see her back. And I think that if anybody beats
Monette at very well, maybe Rio. So we're going to
get a really good match out of this one, at
the least, and at the least at the least. And
I really liked Windsor and Mercedes together.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
I thought that that was really great. Yeah, that was
a fantastic match.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
Yeah, yeah, they had a lot of chemistry together. I
don't think Riho's going to take this belt at the
pay per view. I think after watching tonight, I think
it's going to be windsor I don't think this program's done.
Riho coming in and make a save at the end.
You don't do that thing at the end with Alex
and the handshaking stuff unless you're going to keep this going.

(11:45):
I think they had great chemistry. And if you're going
to take the belt off somebody, the reality is Riho's
not a full time performer for them, Alex is and
whether it's Alex or somebody else, I think you need
to keep it with a full time performer and somebody
she's feuding with. Much as i'd like to see like
a shock win from Riho, I think that's a waste
of a really big opportunity to make and establish a

(12:06):
new star in the promotion. And I can't say enough
good things. They have great chemistry, Like you said, Kelson,
fantastic TV match. I thought it was going to be
a time limit draw when they started calling it out,
and I want to call I want to point out
something too, and that the time limit stuff. Aw needs
to do this in every match. They need to make
it a thing, so we don't assume that five minute callouts.

(12:26):
That's what all Japan used to do. It's what pro
wrestling Noah does.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
Just make the call out.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
That doesn't it's a big thing in Japan. Just make
the call out. So we don't think about it, because
now when they say it, we all assume Timelin with
draw like tonight.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
You know, however, would start them, especially at their five
Star gp uh they do have a set time limit
on those matches, and you know, startups kind of famous
for a lot of time limit draws. They really do
have a lot of draws, and I kind of used
to it. So when they called out the time here,
I agree with you. But what they called out the
time year, I was like, oh, well, this is going
to draw, so that there was a clear winner in

(13:03):
this match was kind of surprising to me. Sech what
do you what do you think here? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (13:11):
I was like, I'm really happy that Rio's back. I
was like, I'm I think she might be the first
ever woman if she does beat Monette, is be the
first ever woman to win it. Both the aw TBS
Championship and the AW Women's World.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
Championship, right believe You're right? Yeah, I believe so.

Speaker 4 (13:31):
So I could see aw Donet as like a like, oh,
we want to make like history, like at all out
or something like that.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
Right, well, look, let's go. You know I said this before,
Mercedes Monet is not too far off of beating Jade
car Gill's record with the TBS Championship. And while I
don't think it's important that she does beat the record
because her her reign is a hundred times better than Cargills, right,

(14:05):
you know that should mean more than days. But but
Mercedes Monet will surpass Jay Cargill two days before Wressel
dreym the pay per view in November, I'm sorry, in October, yeah,

(14:26):
in October. So I kind of thinking that that this
match against Rio is going to be an easy win
for Mercedes Monett. I do hope since Rio has been
injured and that's why she hasn't been around. She's been
injured with a broken wrist. She had broken it, she

(14:48):
came back and it was broken again, so she's broken
that risk twice and that's why she's been out so long. Hopefully,
maybe we can contradict what Barry afraid of that Rio
is hopefully back and not a part time performer, and
that she's a full time performer now.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
In a w I she was out with injury. I
thought it was because she was part of.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
Yeah. Yeah, she broke her wrist on a WTV and
then she came back and she immediately broke it again.
I don't remember if it was up when she broke
it again, it was on a WTV or not, but
it was like she immediately broke it again.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
The one thing I will say is that if Rio
is back, obviously I do think that it's obvious that
she's not going to beat Mercedes Monet at all out.
I hope it's a good match, and I hope that
it kind of does something similar to what we saw
the night between Mercedes Money and Alex Windsor, and that
it establishes a rivalry. Rivalries are just as important as

(15:54):
championships to me, and I hope that that's something that
comes about. So those are the three matches that we
were going to talk about tonight. Now we're going to
go right into our Pope pre resection, where we could
talk about anything else that happened to night and uh,
just give our opinions. Is there anybody you'd like to go,
I can go go ahead.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
So I just want to well, I know someone in
w is going to get fired, like because.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
Because of what?

Speaker 4 (16:26):
Because I remember wrestling days on X he mostly said.
He mostly asked, the w W merch merch team is like, oh,
how come? How come there's no a j Le merch
merchandise for us? And then and then the merchandise team
then like a whole entire paragraph of like, oh, yeah,

(16:47):
we're going to get Ajle merchandised here soon.

Speaker 1 (16:52):
Right, Yeah. I saw that. Yeah, and even people I
saw people on X when somebody when they posted that
say oh somebody's get and fired, you know, but I
don't know. It's that's the way it is. But we
want to keep it on Tonight's dynamite. Anybody else somebody
thoughts about Tonight's dynamite.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
It's not off the guy who held the rose out
from Mercedes Moneta as she was walking to the to
the ring so she can smack it out of his hand. That.
But it's the little things like I really enjoy Mercedes
Heel run because she's the heel, but she doesn't like
do necessarily healish stuff to win. She just acts like

(17:34):
just a jerk and that little thing like that just
it's just so good for her character.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
Yeah, I gotta say something here. Harley Cameron is a treasure.
And when she just kind of went overboard and she
was like, get us Broddo. She wanted her and Chris
Standler to challenge Broddo to a tag team match for
the championship. I I just lost it. I'm sorry. I

(18:00):
love stupid stuff like that, and you know, Bravo, Harley
Cameron don't ever change.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
I thought it was funny when she got her mask
pulled off and she had that paint on.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
When I.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
Underneath everything, everything about her character is so good like
and that's not stuff like that's her, Like you.

Speaker 1 (18:30):
Can't write that like she looks for little things to
tweak and she yeah, yeah, And I'm going to say
something else here, And I know that this is not
something that's gonna impede on what you're gonna say that, Uh,
but I have to say it. Does anybody else think

(18:50):
that Okata sounds like a Japanese Arnold Schwarzenegger Listen to
him when he talked. He speaks in almost like a
Japanese Hungarian accent and uses the same kind of phrasing.
It's weird, yeah, bitch, yeah a bit. I want to

(19:14):
hear him saying, get to the chappa, you know, I
really do. It's I just more and more lately, I'm like,
he's freaking imitating Arnold Schwarzenegger. Maybe you learned English by
listening to Arnold Schwarzenegger. H because Karl, she'da learned English. Initially,

(19:37):
she learned English by watching Dalton Abbey and Harry Potter movies.
And that's why if you listen to some of her
early English promos, she spoke with a British accent that
she started watching American movies and she's Americanized herself other
than when she says woman, because she still says uman.
I always love that. That always. I don't know why,

(20:00):
but what she goes after the woman's Women's championship, it
cracks me up. I'm sorry that go ahead.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
Oh wait, I forgot what I was gonna say. Just
that as it'll come back to me.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
It's anybody else, have anybody else? Have another one? Though,
we're we're we see if I can buy some Jeopardy
music for for net while she's thinking.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
Oh it'll it'll come back, and just went out of
my head. I don't even remember. It's okay.

Speaker 4 (20:43):
I actually take a look relooked at the show, and
I just realized that Gabe, Gabe Kid, and Darby Allen
were We're on here tonight.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
I was like, oh, yeah, I was wondering sec how
they were going to write Gabe Kid off of a
WTV because gave kids going to be at Road to
Destruction from New Japan Pro Wrestling on September twenty first. Well,

(21:16):
now we know he's been dragged to death, had a
body bag. So there you go, and we're still waiting
on them. We're still.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
It's gone from my memory.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
Don't let that be a reminder kids don't do don't
do crack. You know, it's that's not what it is. Well,
I know that's not what it is. I was just
making it a reminder, don't get so defensive. I enjoyed.

Speaker 3 (21:52):
I enjoyed how over Barodito was again tonight. I think
it's been a fun run for them so far. Yeah,
they're doing I'm glad they're doing title matches from Defenses
on TV as well.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
Yeah, well, I remembered, there we go, that's back.

Speaker 2 (22:07):
Yeah, I remembered. I remembered when Speedball my Bailly was
walking in he was kicking fans hands and I was
happy to see that because he did that a lot
and in the in the Independence he kicked my hand
when I saw him, and I just had that moment

(22:29):
to myself, look at Speedball kicking hands again. So it
was nice to see. Yeah, that's what I was gonna say.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
Very, was it you that brought Was it you that
brought up the rose thing?

Speaker 2 (22:43):
I think it was.

Speaker 1 (22:44):
Yeah, Yeah, it was very because did you watch our
Supercard of Honor the Ring of Honor pay per view?
You know that didn't from last one that the same
person had rose, had a rose and handed it out.
I can't remember who they handed it to. I think
it may have been Mina shar Kawa. I'm not sure. Uh,

(23:08):
but they did the same thing during that paper rew.
I just wanted to bring that up, so oh yeah,
yeah absolutely, and she whoever took it, they loved it.
They you know, they treated it with respect, and then
they gave it to somebody else, you know, because they
couldn't get in the ring with a rose and Russell.

(23:28):
Uh yeah, So before we wrap things up, I just
want to get people's final thoughts with a grade, you know,
grading from A to F school grade grades for this
week week's episode of AW Dynamite, of course, A being
you know, the best, at F being the absolute worst.
What did you think of this show? I'm gonna go

(23:49):
to Sect first. I'll get it like a solid B,
solid b okay, let's go to NET.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
I also would give it.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
A B okay great, And Barry, I don't like using grades.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
I'll just say it was a good show.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
And I'm gonna ask you a specific question, Barry, because
you brought this up last night on our Ignition podcast.
Do you think that on this particular Dynamite that A
W did enough to you know, get some you know

(24:35):
attention on all out you do? Okay? Yeah? Yeah.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
I think they set up a couple more matches tonight,
and that's what I wanted to see, as I noted yesterday,
and I think they're moving in the right direction. There
was at least two announce it looks like the third
was clearly being set up.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
Right and I would agree with sec Dad and Net here.
I'm gonna give it a solid B maybe even a
B plus U. I thought it was a good show.
I don't think that. If you haven't have shows that
are b's and a's every week, you're definitely trending in

(25:12):
the right direction. It's a good problem to have, it is.
So anyway, we'll be back on Tuesday night. Join us
on our Discord channel. We'll be back on Tuesday night
for Ignition, and that show is going We're going to
cover up, cover up, cover maybe cover up some of

(25:32):
the hot topics. Did I just say coplics? I guess
I did some of the hot topics at aw including
you know, my own struggles with crack cocaine, because as
you can tell, I can't talk for crap tonight, and
that hurts because I'm the host of the show. When
the host can't talk, you know, Barry, we're gonna need

(25:53):
you to step up next week.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
Okay, Well, I mean there was the whole jail time
for the drug dealing with the crack cocaine too, you
had to deal with. But I'm glad you broke that rap.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
Now, I did you know I was found not guilty
by reasons of insanity? Yeah, you know, at least that's
what my doctor told me anyway, We'll see you on
Tuesday night, eight forty five Eastern time on our Discord
channel to talk about the hot flopics. I couldn't even

(26:23):
say it wrong on purpose, the hot topics for aw
for sect and Barry and for Nett missus Kelson. Good night, everybody,
see you Tuesday. Good Night, Eddie Kingston.
