Years later, a DNA test revealed long-lost ancestral ties, leading her to connect with cousins across generations and continents. Through DNA, documents, and descendants, Patricia’s discoveries have deepened her connection to her roots and inspired her to teach others how to uncover their own family histories. Along the way, she traveled to Côte d'Ivoire and Cameroon, Africa, honoring the strength and resilience of ancestors who survived the Middle Passage and connecting with distant cousins who share the same journey.

Patricia Glover-Howard is an Educator, Entrepreneur, and Genealogist. Her genealogical journey began when she was contacted by a paternal cousin through the DNA company 23andMe. They met in person at the RootsTech Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, which led Patricia to volunteer as a co-host for the Bernice Bennett BlogTalk Radio Show. She managed the chatroom for several years to sharpen her research skills—and the rest, as they say, is history. Specializing in African American genealogy and deep South research, particularly in Georgia, Patricia is passionate about teaching others to uncover the connections between their present and their past. She helps clients trace their family trees and uncover long-lost ancestors, often revealing powerful stories and providing healing to family mysteries. Patricia also dedicates herself to teaching genealogy, working with students of all ages to foster a deeper understanding and respect for their heritage.
