So we want to talk about power today. In Act
chapter one eight, the Marble says, but ye shall receive
power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you,
and he shall be witnesses unto me, both in Jerusalem
and in all Judea, and in Samaria and onto the

of power is one of the products that is possible
if we know how to deal properly with the investment
of the Spirit of God on our lives. It says

you shall receive power after that the Holy Spirit has
come upon you. It means that the Holy Spirit will
need to come upon you first. Then if you know
how to deal with that, cup it out, one of
the things you will generate eventually, among many other products,

is power exactly. Now, I was in the oil industry
in Nigeria for sixteen years, so I know a little
about crude oil. Crude oil. Crude oil happens not to
be useful in its crude state. It has to be
subjected to some form of refinement before the useful fractions

will come out of the refinery. The refinery is a
simple fractional distillation column that manipulates temperature and pressure in
order to influence this complex mixture, and then it fractionates
at various temperatures.

The lighter products are the ones that fraction it that
come out of the refinery. First, the gases come out
of the refinery first, and then the next liquid. The
first liquid that will come out of the refinery is
what we call aviation to bine kerosine, the huel that

comes out, and household kerol will come out, and then
premium motor spirit which is what you call your gas,
will come out, and then heavier products will begin to
come out. Diesel will now come out at then the
heavier products, and then eventually as far to come out

these my refinery operations. It's because the word that was
used for power in the Greek is dunamis. Dunamis is
has two minutes. The first million of dunamis is in

inherent power. Inherent power. You know, yesterday I asked if

the Holy Ghost is installed in your spirit as inherent capacity,
so it's no longer up to God to determine how

Then I will pray with the spirit, and I will

we have? The one? Two, three? Okay, Now, what I'm
just trying to show you is to show you biblical
evidence that when you have baptized with the Holy Spirit,

you've received something that you can operate at will. Your
ability to speak in tongues is the only spiritual gift
that the Holy Ghost makes available to us that you
can operate at will. It's not up to God, it's
up to you. The reason is because it is inherent capacity.

It is downloaded and installed on your spirit. Are you
doing so you can decide when you want to use it.
You can decide if you don't want to use it.
Just like I have the application already downloaded into my phone,
I can decide when I want to use the application.

That's how it is because dunamis means inherent. So you
will hear Paul make statements like I thank my God
that I pray in tongues more than you all. He
choose that he wants to maximize.

The capacity of the investment that was given to him
please have met, preach to your neighbor. Is not up
to God, is up to you.

We are waiting for a moment where the wind or
the Holy gooses will blow on your head and you

Number two, Dunamis means potential energy, potential energy, and that's

Crude oil has a lot of potential, but in his

Bible says that God has given on to us all
that pertains to life and godliness, and this investment that

He gave us is in measures of his spirit. It
means that everything that God wants to give a believer
is in the Holy Ghost. It's a complex mixture, but
you need to subject that mixture to refinery process in
order for you to get what you need from the

Holy Ghost at every point in time.

You there, how many of you still remember when Jesus
was in the boat and some master official men were
also in that boat, and then the Bible revealed that
the wind began to blow boysterios so much so that
the fisher men that had conquered storms in the face

of that hurricane knew it was a day of danger.
That means they have attempted to use their skill to
combat the storm to no avail. So they decided to
reach out to Jesus. Now, listen, God is in your spirit.

His power is in your spirit, His ability is in
your spirit. But it is possible for Jesus to be
in the boat and slipping if you don't know how
to wake him up. One thing is show he will
not drown, But I can't say so for you. There's

potential deliverance in that boat. There's potential intervention in that boat.
There's potential power in that boat. But you will need
to wake it up. And do you wake it up?
You need to subject that complex misture to the refinery God.

(09:07):
I hope you know what the refinery is the ability
to speak in tongues. As he keeps speaking in tongues,
keeps speaking in tongues, the Holy Spirit begins to enlarge
within you, and it begins to carry your spirit along
to a place where the blessings that are in him,
we pop up and your spirit to be able to recognize.

It refinery operations.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
That means you have a responsibility, which is the responsibility
of exercise in your spirit. So just like the associated
gases will come out of the refinery, the one you
use for cookie.

And the other products come out of the refinery.

God is saying power is one of the products that
guaranteed products that is in the refinery. That is a
possible product that your refinery will produce. It's not limited
to power is just one of the one of the products.
Because this complex mixture has all everything that pertains to

our life, everything that pertains to our godliness. It's also
interesting to know that in the eyes of Jesus, you
need power to prosecute normal human life because once and
again you'll be confronted with situations that are orchestrated from
the realm of the spirit, and you need to confront

(10:30):
it with measures of power. So Jesus says, this science
shall follow them that believe in my name, they shall
cast out devils. So that's what we do. In fact,
that's how you identify us. You will find us on
the streets expelling devils and say, okay, this one believes

(10:53):
in my name. They shall lay their hands upon the
sick and the sex shall recover. That's what we do,
and all the traits by what Jesus said, believers will
be identified. He's associated with power. That's why I want
to talk about power today. So in act chapter one,

(11:15):
verse eight, I wouldn't want you to miss something. You
always his spirit and power. You shall receive power after that,
the Holy Ghos spirit. So don't miss the combination of
spirit and power. The spirit is the investment, the power

(11:36):
is the outcome, exactly. Okay, So come with me. Let's
go to the Book of Luke Chapter one. Duke, Chapter one,
verse five. There was in the days of Herold, the
king of Judea, a certain priest named zacharyas of the
cause of a bear, and his wife was one of

the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth, and
they were both righteous before God, working in all his
commandments and ordinances of the Lord Blameless. And they had
no child because that Elizabeth was barren, and the boat

shall not drink neither wine nor strong drink. And he
shall be few with the Holy Ghost, even from his
mother's woman. And many of the children of Israel shall
return to the Lord. Verse seventeen. Is the reason why
I brought you here, And he shall go before him
in the spirit and power of Elias. Are you there?

I say, you shall receive power. After that, the Holy
Ghost is come upon you, and then this Jonger Baptist.
The Bible says he shall go before him, He shall
go before the Lord in the spirit and the power

of Elijah the Prophet. Are you there? Okay, now that

on John the Baptists. According to the prophecy that is
associated with his conception, he was supposed to be an

animation of Elijah in two counts. The first count was
the spirit of Elijah. There was supposedibly evidence in his
life that he was a carrier of the spirit of Elijah.
There was also supposed to be evidence in his life
that it was a carrier of the power of what Elijah.

The query? Want to query power? Are you there? Query

And what did they tell Jesus about John? And many
resulted unto him and said, John did no miracle. But
all things that John speak about this man were true.
John prophesied about Jesus. It was obvious that there was

a prophetic spirit that was upon him. Everything he said
about Jesus's true. It means that we could conclude that
the spirit of Elijah was active on his life. But unfortunately,
in John's report card, when people came to report John

(16:46):
to Jesus, what did I say about John? John did
no miracles, meaning that John did not realize the power
potential that was in the intent met. The average believer
has found a way of existing such that he is powerless.

(17:10):
The average believer has found a mode of oppression that
doesn't require power. What I came to tell you is
this that you have been reported. Somebody reported you to Jesus,
and what they said about you is that, in fact,
you're a very good Christian. However, we are powerless. The
potential that we have haven't received the Holy Ghost, is

(17:35):
that we are capable or power. We're capable of supernatural power.
And it will interest you to know. Whenever someone is
initiated into a witchcraft coven, some of the first tricks
the person is taught is how to pass fairs, to
influence people, how to transmit demonic power. Many of us

(17:59):
might think that the way things, the trend of things,
is based on natural circumstances and situations. You are not
equipped with the right knowledge. Most of what you see
is manipulated by influences. Power is a way of life.
So these guys came to report to Jesus. I said, John,

(18:21):
in terms of his prophetic ministry, was accurate. Everything he
said about you was true. He gave us advanced insight,
so we were able to now that we that were
partakers of his ministry can attest that he was accurate
in describing you. But there was a deficiency in his ministry.

(18:42):
There was no power. He did no miracles. It means
that John did not maximize his capacity. And I hope
you know what happens when your capacity is not maximized.
They Okay, let me not break your heart because the
other day some people we're afraid, so let me not

break your heart. Okay, let me break it. Then we'll
look for how to mend it. Come with me, Come

go to the Book of Matthew. I believe is Matthew

eleven Matthew chapter eleven, verse twenty. Let us see what
happens when we decide that we want to be powerless
by choice. In Matthew chapter eleven, verse twenty, the paper says,

his mighty works were done because they repented. Not so
it begins with twenty one. It's a war onto the
chorusing war onto the bedside. Why for if the mighty

works that were done in you had been done entire
and side on, they would have repented long ago in
sack clothes and ashes. It means that some of the
cities that rejected God, they rejected him not because they

couldn't be saved. They rejected him because of insufficient witness.
The apostle that was sent into those territories was powerless,
even though he was well mannered, present, he was well cultured,
but he did not have the power dimension enough to
draw their attention to what God was saying. The average believer,

(20:58):
not just in America but all over the world, it's
beginning to accept a powerless kind of Christianity. That's what
it means to be political politically correct in the Christian
perspective is to be powerless, is to be is to

(21:19):
be ashamed of speaking in tones. So when we come
to church, we are supposed to be pious, sanctimonials and sacramento.
That's a measured faith that doesn't have the ability to
impact the generation. So we see Jesus rebuking cities. It's
if the dimensional power that was manifested in you was

manifested entire and side on. So the question is what
happened to the messenger that was sent to Tian Sider.
He had the truth, but he had no power to
back it on, and because of that, Tire and Sidon

But there was something wrong with Lot's ministry. He had
no power, and because of that he had he lacked
what it would take if if Jesus had not made
these statements, would have thought that the situation of a
Lot of Sodom and Gomorrah was hopeless. But Jesus is
bringing us divine perspective, and Jesus is saying that if

the mighty works that were done in Kapanum were done
in Sodom, they would have repented. Sodom would have been
standing till this thing. Are you with me? Now so
in view of their booth, we are in the apostolic
community of our own generation, and God is expecting that

(23:34):
will be a witness for hum in this generation, and
people will see evidences in your life that is suggestive
of the fact that God is the true God. He
say yishually say power. After that, the Holy Ghost has
come upon you. Are you? Are you with me? Why
so that you'll be witnesses unto me? He didn't say

(23:56):
witnesses for me, but witnesses onto me. What's the meaning
of that? Because you need a witness when you go
to court, someone that can come and add muscle to
your argument with the hope that it will manipulate the
pendulum of justice. Our generation no longer believes Jesus, so

(24:18):
we need He needs witnesses that will witness unto him.
That means your life, your life in need supernatural constitutional
manifestation will provide sufficient evidence to turn the hearts of
a lost generation back to the reality of Jesus. That

(24:40):
we see in your life as sufficient evidence that Jesus
is alive. And one of those evidences, according to extrap
one that's eight, is a ministry of power that comes
out of your life so sdom was not a hopeless case,

just that lot Lot presented insufficient witness to suldom because
he was like John the Baptist. Even though John the
Baptist was endued with the spirit and the power of Elijah,
he modeled the spirit of Elijah. And that is evidence

in the fact that everything that he said about Jesus
was true. But he refused to model the power side
of the Elijah dimension, making him manifest insufficient witness. You
see when the prophety came, the prophecy about John in
the Book of Look, chapter one, verse seventeen, where we

(25:44):
read he say, and he shall go before him in
the spirit and the power of Prophet Elijah. Now it
means that John the Baptist ministry was supposed to provide
sufficient evidence capture the attention of that generation so that
when Jesus comes, everybody will just go to him for salvation.
But that generation missed the move of God, as it

(26:07):
is written in the scripture, that it came to its
own and his own received him. Now it was because
of insufficient witness. And I see a generation trying to
set up We Christians are trying to set up our
generation by deciding that will not explore the power that
dynamics of the Holy ghosts that what you are good
for is just your job. What you're good for is

(26:30):
just your business. What you're good for is just raising
your kids. That's all you're about. Oh my god, Oh
my god, that's not what you're all about. Because the
generation has rejected Jesus, and part of our duty is
to bear witness of his resurrection. And the only proof
that will be proof enough for your generation to see

(26:52):
and to acknowledge is that in your life there's a
supernatural ability that is not human that finds sex pressure
on tree of Vese. We were created to be creatures power.
You know, I said I would not trouble you with
my stories so that someone would not have had problems.

Now the other day, when I said that, I I
was in first teen Moon for two hundred and forty
six days. The service ended because people, so we just

with my power. The Holy Ghost was prompting me.

if you come to Nigeria, the oil industry, the oil
sector accounts for eighty nine percent of the gross dometric
products and because of that, that's where the action is

as far as the economy of Nigeria. So all the

So it's a very active sector. And we were trained
according to Internet Global standards. In fact, our certification comes

of the rank I had, I was posted somewhere and
that place I was posted to is the most corrupt
zone in the entire industry, and if you're not careful,

He had the head of the corruption in that place.
He asks, is then no man of integrity here? They say,
is on live? So he called me and said come back,
you'll leave is canceled And then I got posted to
that place. So I took it first, praying terms, not
for a crusade, but to go to work. Do you
know what a shrine is? A shrine is a physical

location where that is configured in such a way that
it mirrors the dimensions of demonic spirits, such that those
demonic spirits can be someononed into that physical location. You
know with me? Are you? Are you following me? So
that's what a shrine is. So they can take this seat,

this is your seat that she sits in the office,
They take it to the shrine you live work on
Friday Friday night, they take that seat to the shrine
and then they begin to cast pairs on that seat.
Someday evening they take that set back from the shrine
and put it in your office with the hope that
you come and sit on it. In those days it

was possible for you to sit. You came heldy and
you sit on a seat and you become cripple. The
name of that is a demonic miracle. This is the
life I lived. When I came there on Monday, the
only girl said I should not use that seat, so
I started to use it. The visitors seat. You know

in an office, this is where you sit, and then
we have visitors seating this across the table. So I
was now using the visitors seat, and they saw me.
So when I left work on Friday, they took that
visitor seat to the shrine because that thing has that
spell hasn't inspired date. When I came the next Monday

So then now the nun came to me. I said,
we see that we are. We're all spiritual people.

We know ourselves and you too, but we don't know

here he can bear witness. I said, don't I recognize him?
I said, I don't recognize you? Say who were there?

That we took a sacrifice? Do you know what? I
call it a sacrifice? When you pop, you take blood
to to to a deity God. So they took a sacrifice.
I'm hearing this in Canada. And the reason why we
took that sacrifice was because of you. Because if you
come to work, we can no longer do our corruption.

Sometimes they will take a sacrifice to the shrine and
release demons to you. Then they will bring something for
you to sign. It's expected that you shouldn't read what
you are signing. The manipulate you, hypnotize you so that
you can sign with that reading. And that's why they
took the sacrifice there. He doesn't work on me. The
guy just told I resigned five years ago. I just

got an update about some of the things that I
didn't even know. I didn't know. Sometimes, in order for
them to cast pairs that take a life animal like
a ram and dig the ground and bury the ram alive,

the suffering of the soul of that ralm provides spiritual
currency that demonic people can use. For my's sake, they
buried the guy told me. In Canada, we buried Iran.
There was a security man that was my friend. I
remember he called me by three a m. And told
me that these guys have they brought something to bury.

I didn't know it was because of me. I got
the optate a few days ago in Canada. And you
want to tell me that life is not spiritual. We
got it wrong. I didn't know that it was a spare.
I didn't know that they buried something. But it had
no effect on me. That is the only way that

God can speak to wizards. When they realized that, they
say power that is stronger than demonic power. When Satain
advertises itself to them, he advertises himself as the Lord
until they take.

So the trouble with Seldom was that this evangelists lacked power.
So it was a situation of insufficient witness, and because
of that it was turned into darkness by the just
judgments of God. I'm trying to challenge you this morning

that we were designed to be creatures of power, and
let the people whose destinies are connected to your life
seek a complete witness of the testimony of the reason
Lord manifest through your life as evidence that Jesus is alive.
All lawyer, all right, So since you got it to

that point, I will take you for that. So no
need for me to query spirit. We just create power
in the life of John the Baptist. No need for
us to query spirit. You already have an idea of
what I am talking about. Come with me again. I
need to show you some scriptures, some other scriptures before

I show you the pathway to power. When I show
you the path way to power, I will take permission
from Jesus and so that we can do practically. Okay,

has changed. Prior to this time Stephen's credentials was that
it was full of faith and the Holygoes. Then after

period of time, Stephen was seen to be full of
faith and power. It means that something had happened. The
Holy Goos investment in Steven has now become what power?
Oh my God, you are not with me? Are you
with me? The Holygos investment in Stephen had migrated. Now

it was power. So you are filled with the Holygos.
That's the initial investment. Actual Apter one eight is saying
that you are capable of power if you know how
to deal properly with investment. What God is saying is,
don't remain with just the Holygoes anointed. Move to the

remo power, Move from potential, move into reality. Are you
there good? So you saw that Stephen had transformed. The
anointing of the Hologoes on his life.
