Come si può facilmente immaginare, fare videogiochi negli anni '80, in quel primo periodo che oggi è ricordato come la "golden age" del videogioco, era un impresa estremamente differente rispetto ad oggi. In quell'era pioneristica i computer domestici (home computers) erano ben lontani dalla capacità e versatilità degli attuali e gran parte del lavoro era effettuata ancora su semplice carta a quadretti o millimetrata. Carlo Santagostino, in questa conferenza tenutasi durante la manifestazione GARDACON del Novembre 2024, ci porta alla scoperta del mondo dell'informatica di quegli anni e delle sue esperienze come giovane programmatore di videogiochi.
