REPORT: Lee Hutton ousted as commissioner of Arena Football League, Jeff Fisher appointed as interim

A source informed Arena Insider that Commissioner Lee Hutton III was voted out of office late Monday. Owners reportedly ousted Hutton in an unanimous vote and appointed current Nashville Kats owner Jeff Fisher as interim commissioner.

The news comes after Minnesota Myth released its roster and are expected to suspend its 2024 season.

Now, this news comes as theMinnesota Myth appeared to be the fourteenth

to suspend its operation just a fewweeks into the new season, and Lee's
wife, Diana, who is theowner of the Myth, shared the letter
with athletes on Monday morning that wasobtained by Areena Insider. Hutton said they
were working to finalize a deal toget more money, but did not have
much time to complete it by thisweek. Hutton also went on to say,
quote this has also been delayed dueto the negative publicity surrounding our team
