(00:12):
Well, come in to the Arkexperience. My name is ARKI Sha,
this is the experience. Welcome intoanother Sweet Sweet podcast for the week,
a brand new week. In fact, the first part of November is now
dropping. And finally we will beable to do these completely consistently, because

(00:33):
now I can come telling you thatI was teasing him for the last couple
of weeks, and I can quitehappily say for the first time that that
project and that super secret project thatwe were working on for weeks and weeks
and weeks and weeks and weeks andweeks and weeks, and they got kicked
into hyper drive the last couple ofweeks. It is now ready for consumption,

(01:00):
ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all of the majores.
I'm glad to finally be able totell you that our kick Bets the
show is now officially thing. Iam super, super super pumped for this.
That some of you may know thatI have been signed on with our
kick Bets for well since the beginningof September officially, and we've been writing

(01:27):
we just me. I've been writingfor them again since September the seventh,
I believe was the first first articledate to where we do analytic I like
to do analytics, I should sayI do analytics, I do picks.
I do all kinds of cool stuff. But what we had sort of been
waiting for and working on for quitesome time, it's finally coming to Fruition,

(01:49):
which is an actual daily show,a show where we get to entertain
the masses, entertain and you giveyou some picks, talk about why,
and have another feather in the capabout kick bets, which I'm excited to
very very much be the first personon board with as the quote unquote gaming

(02:15):
analysts. I don't know what anyof this means really, to be honest
with you, other than the factthat we get to do things entertaining on
this show. We get to giveout picks on this show, and we
get to be a little bit different. It's something that I've sort of pushed
for from the beginning when we weresort of talking about this project, is

(02:36):
that I didn't want this to bejust a picks show. We'll give out
tons of picks. Do not fret, but you'll actually, for the first
time ever, be able to sortof see my face as I'm making the
picks. If that makes sense, you get to hear the reasoning beyond just
a few sentences on the website. You get to hear and see the reaction

(03:00):
for some of these ideas and gamesthat we've been going through for every single
day, so that depending on whenyou are hearing, this has happened today
already or it is going to happenlater this morning. So for you to
know and to put into your schedule, it will go on Monday through Friday

(03:23):
eleven thirty am a Central time. And I say central time because I'm selfish
and I like to look at itin terms of me, me and what
my time. So it's a twelvethirty Eastern eleven thirty Central time, and
it will be a hood. It'sa thirty minute show, so we will
not take much time out of yourday at all. And I think the
attention is to be able to makethat also a podcast for later download as

(03:45):
well, but I wouldn't bank onthat early. I go ahead and get
on that live feed while you can't. And where can you find that thing?
Well that's pretty simple too. Ifyou are on the old Twitter,
you can find it. It willbe periscoped and streamed on there. If
you are on the YouTube. Itwill be it wouldn't be periscope, it'll
be just streamed there, but it'llalso be on the YouTube. So the

(04:09):
way to find them is to gofind alkick Bets on Twitter and to find
altkick Bets on the YouTube. Whicheverplatform you sort of prefer the most is
fine by us. We've been doingsome test shows, a bunch of a
bunch of test shows, and it'sgoing really, really, really well,
and so people are excited within theindustry. That's right. The entire industry

(04:30):
is talking about us. I thinkI don't know. I get told that
people see things and they say things, but I never really could to know
specifically. All I know is thatwe get to go have a good time
and talk about sports betting every singleday. So it'll be Monday through Friday.
Actually, to be more specific, for the first few weeks, we're
going Monday through Thursday, and thenwe'll go Monday through Friday and then we'll

(04:51):
explain that bad boy. But wewill get a ton ton ton of picks
in, a ton of discussion in, and just a general good time like
it's going to be well worth thetime you're investing. Again, it's only
half an hour, so that isnot really that much of a commitment time
wise. And again it's one ofthose things that I really was adamant and

(05:15):
excited about when we were talking aboutthis, is that this needed to be
a quick to the point kind ofprogram, and they very much agreed.
So this is cool. This isa very very cool thing to be doing.
So that starts today Monday, andlook forward at twelve thirty Eastern eleven
thirty Central time on the old Twitterand as well on the youtubes. I

(05:42):
now say that so I can talkabout my most favorite of topics to talk
about over the weekend, and thatis obviously football, and that is college
football. And I really only haveone main topic for today, and that
is what the bloody fudge is goingon in Gamesville, Florida. Did you

(06:02):
see the massacre that happened in Gamecockland? Not the way we all expected it
either. This is I'll tell youthis. I am an analytics guy to
a degree, right. I believein certain numbers and certain things sort of

(06:25):
tell you where the game is going, who is the better team. I
believe some of those things actually giveyou insight into the actual team. A
giant majority of them I don't.And one of those is the Football predictor
Index or whatever it is, theone that the four letter network decides to

(06:46):
tell you, here's your percentage chancethat this team will win the game.
And I only harp on that thistime. I'm basically ignored. But I
happen to be looking at the scrollon the bottom of the screen with the
scores during one of the games, and that number came up that yes,
Florida was the favorite to win thatgame. And not only were the favorite,

(07:08):
they were the heavy favorite, andthey were an eighty five percent chance
of winning. So why did theyget destroyed? Well, that's something an
index or a power ranking or somethingcouldn't tell you couldn't. It's ridiculous.
It's ridiculous because what you should havebeen paying attention to is the fact that

(07:29):
that Florida team is beyond struggling.Beyond struggling. They are in a really,
really, really bad place right now. And it's not just recruiting.
It's not just the guys on thefield, it is everyone with that program

(07:53):
is in a tough, tough way. South Carolina is not allocately put good.
They're not good, they're not passable, they're not anything at all.
They're literally just a blip on theradar to everybody not named Vanderbilt, and

(08:16):
technically could have been East Carolina tooon that list. It is a wild,
wild scene to see that South Carolinaslowly and surely sucked the life out
of the Florida Gators. And thatis the biggest upset of this entire season.

(08:41):
Not from a point spread standpoint, not from a perceived perception standpoint.
It's from a pure effort and accountabilitystandpoint. That's exactly where all this comes
from. Florida did not want tobe where they were Saturday nights, and

(09:03):
it showed in a bad, badway. South Carolina is always the spunky
underdog. They don't expect to bethat good all of the time. Remember
when Steve Spury win eleven wins backto back to back seasons. Yeah,
that's not normal, that's not real. What's real is fight for Bowl eligibility,

(09:28):
a trying like hell to get toa New Year's Day Bowl, a
nice, warm weather Bowl game. That's what's real. Florida, Florida.
Say what you want about the Georgialoss and the emotional toll that that game
took. This is why I saystay away from games like that unless you
really want about the other side.Florida had two weeks to get ready for

(09:52):
Georgia and then put up an absoluteegg, especially in the second half.
First half, offensively, they struggledagainst Georgia. To be expected, george
is a super tough team to scoreagainst, move the ball against. In
general, super difficult. Makes sense, you would second half, they just

(10:13):
lost it. They lost it.They I guess, can't really lose if
you never really had it. Butthey just lost every sense of themselves.
The fact that that team, aftergetting shellacked that much by a rival,
could not get up to play SouthCarolina on the road is one coaching accountability

(10:43):
one hundred percent. Todd Grantam's goingto go And who knows about Dan Mullen
at this point, because the lossesare some one thing, the bad losses
are another. You know, we'vealready had I think it's nine with the
UMass coach firing on Sunday, ninedifferent coaches, maybe it's ten now different

(11:07):
coaches in college football get fired andthis is the most at this point of
the season ever. And Dan Mullin'sname I did not think would be one
of them, but it's starting tomake a little more sense. You can't
hang your hat on being close tobeating Alabama and in the SEC Championship last
season, and you can't hang thathat on a two point loss, or

(11:33):
you're two points away from being nowAlabama in your place this year. You
can't do it. You can't hangyour hat on beating Tennessee right now.
Tennessee is fine. They're looking better, they're looking really really interesting, but
they're not the team you're talking abouthanging your hat on. At this point.

(11:54):
You can't hang your entire season whereyou're hanging it right now, Florida,
there are other games you have toplay for all out, and it
doesn't look like they want to beatThey Remember when Dan Mullin got all the
crap, undeservedly so for not wantingto talk about recruiting during the season,
and it got perceived as this,uh, this, dan Mullin doesn't recruit

(12:16):
during the season. That's ridiculous, right, Like, no, no one
believes that's actually the thing. Butnow I think we could talk about coaching
during the coaching season, because that'sbad. That's a bad, bad,

(12:39):
bad, bad bad loss for DanMullen. A horrific loss for Dan Mullen,
and I don't like to sit hereand in fire coaches after, you
know, one bad season. ButI'm not the one with the jobs.
I don't get to make the decision. And we've already had a several FBS
programs say that they want to makethat decision sooner and sooner. Florida get

(13:05):
impatient all of a sudden. Theylook at the recruiting numbers, They look
at the fact that, hey,you were close but didn't quite get past
Alabama. Yeah, you were closeto making the playoff, but it was
your players being really, really dumbthat really cost you a chance to that
by losing the yellow shoe, bythrowing a shoe last season. Do you
start looking at that and say, maybe all these add up to something that

(13:30):
we weren't paying that much attention tobefore and now that we are, and
we need to make this decision.I don't know. I don't know if
you're for to Honestly don't I Iwould hesitate to fire a guy was either
in the middle of a lull likethis, especially because it's brief, but

(13:56):
push back to the end of lastseason, pushed through this season so far,
the bad losses, some bad, bad, bad bad losses, and
you wish you could just say,you wish you could say you were the
team to be at Alabama, becausethen you know, you could pretend you

(14:20):
were Auburn and that gets your coachextended for four more years. You wish
you could do that, but youcan't. So who are your wins this
season? Its effectively nobody. Yeah, Tennessee's arrival, but that's not where
Florida twenty twenty one thought Florida twentytwenty one was going to be. And

(14:41):
that's the concerning thing. Dan Mullen'sseat is getting really, really hot,
and it may not be for suchan undeserved reason because if you think about
also how he's responded to things. He's responded things like he's ten and one
right now as opposed to head andtour, maybe not getting a bowl game.

(15:07):
It's kind of a prick and it'scute, and it's interesting when you're
beating UT Chattanooga for Nick Fitzgerald andhe's winning you the Egg Bowl, it's
not so cute when you're getting blownout by third different starting quarterback for South

(15:28):
Carolina, it's not as cute. It's not as funny, no one laughs
nearly as hard, So it'd beut. Chattanooga is who mister Dan mullan
needs to be coaching against right now, because it might be the only team
that he's gonna be able to haveconsistent success against, because it's bad,

(15:48):
bad, bad times in Gamesville, and that program has gone and grown up
to deserve to expect better than whatthey're getting now. And it's not just
where they're located. It's not justhow much money they make. It's the
fact that they have had the success. They've had it under multiple coaches.

(16:12):
Now you can't you can't just sayit's Steve Spurrier. You can add Urban
Meyer, you can add Ron's Zook. You can't add round Zuck. I
take that back. You cant DanMullin for a minute. Multiple coaches have
been able to do very good thingsat Florida, which means it's there to

(16:32):
be done. And maybe you know, khakied Dan Mullin. Maybe Jordan's make
me cool, so all the recruitsthink I'm interesting. Maybe that isn't as
cute as you know we think itis, or the recruits think it is.

(16:56):
Only time will tell, But I'lltell you this about Dan Mullen,
And I've thought this for a longtime. I never got it. And
I lightened up on him in thelast couple of years because he had a
couple of years of success and theDak Prescott year happened. And I still
I never quite got it. Inever quite understood why so many people thought

(17:21):
he was so good and he hadmoments. You can't take away the number
one year. You can't take awaythat. But you're a Florida now that
should be the continuing thing. Youcan't get a quarterback on your roster that's

(17:45):
worth a flip consistently. It's whatIt's what makes these programs like like Ohio
States and like Alabama, what makeswhat they do so so impressive is because
they win almost all the time. When they get into these runs. These
runs aren't for a year or twoeven three. They go on for six,

(18:10):
seven, eight night. Make whatClempson did for so long so phenomenally
interesting and so great. It showshow difficult that is to win at that
level constantly. But here's the thing. Florida expects to do that. So
I'm not saying Dan Molins should getfired, but the people of Florida may

(18:32):
think Damn Melons should get fired. And that's film opinion that really matters,
the only opinion that matters. Andif Damn Molin is not the coach of
Florida at the end of the season, not going to be shocked because all
trends are heading that way, allof them, the ones you don't like

(18:56):
to see. The losses and therecruiting and the lack of faith being leader
from leadership in the fan base.Everything points to what ed Ogeron is dealing
with. And Dan Mullen doesn't evenhave the ed Ogeron Championship. How about that
