The Lions Club meets the first and third Tuesday of every month at noon at American Legion Post 66, and hosts bingo on the fourth Monday of each month. Two upcoming bingo nights are scheduled for May 26 and June 23.
Dick Pomo also shared his personal journey of being matched with his guide dog, Presley, and provided listeners with valuable advice on how best to interact and communicate with individuals accompanied by service animals. The episode closed with a call to action, highlighting volunteer opportunities available through the Lions Club for those interested in giving back to their community.
