Podem parlar de l’ús de la ceràmica a la cuina, en forma de recipients com gerres, bols, plats, àmfores o llànties, però també de manera més indirecta, com és el cas de la construcció o la decoració. La ceràmica sigillata, de fet, també reflecteix l’existència de tallers de producció local, que ajudaven a abastir comerços i llars en tot el territori.
Com ens hem d’imaginar els objectes fets d’aquest material a l’època romana? Hi havia ceràmica de luxe? Què ens expliquen les peces que han arribat fins als nostres dies?
