Speaker 1 (00:03):
Child wounded by rejection, incest, molestation, emotional, physical, and sexual
abuse can become an adult functioning in childish ways, not
being able to put away childish things. Listen to arrested
development ministries and hear the hearts of victims who have
(00:27):
become victims and sufferers who are now survivors. Learn what
great things God can do for you to heal your
heart wherever you hurt.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Over the years, in our research, and we've developed much
original research in the life skills programs such as the
Mother's Son, the Father Daughter, the approach of neuroscience that
we're dealing with and we'll be dealing with today. And
God really led me down a path in this area
(01:40):
of the spoken word. The Torah tells us that sound
is the energy of God. That's important. Sound is the
energy of God. I still think that in every human being,
and this is just my opinion, so we'll leave it
at that. But in every human being there's something there
(02:02):
of God's language that we could develop. Ephesians four, Paul
tells us we've been babies long enough. It's time to
come to full stature and row up. The brain will
not rewire if the limbic system or the thalamus is
in control. And if we do what the scripture tells
(02:26):
us to do, and that's come to full stature. It
takes the shift from the limbic system pushing up and
causing reactive behavior to me maturing so that I choose
and our choices are in the frontal lobe, and that's
basically where the conscience lives. The frontal lobe carries the conscience,
(02:52):
and the frontal lobe is where we make choices. I
could stand up and do a seminar almost too well
as I'm doing this one, and so the brain started
to rewire. Now the I wanna I'm gonna kind of
clarify something for you in the word. The word talks
(03:14):
so much about the heart, and what I found out
in research is so exciting. I can hardly contain myself
because the heart and the brain are totally tied together.
So when when the scripture talks about your heart, it
(03:36):
is your literal heart connected to your brain. It's it's
like one whole unit. What they have found in dissecting
hearts is that the heart has axons, dendrites, synapse, and
the heart is tied directly to the brain.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
Directly to the brain.
Speaker 2 (04:01):
See God's principles work wonderfully, wonderfully, and yet the secular
world is afraid to use the word of God, the
very word that programs are thalamus, the very word that
brings healing, the very word that brings change, the very
(04:23):
word that brings the brain to be able to rewire itself,
and we can walk in victory for the rest of
our lives. That very word has been pushed out of
the educational systems in the secular world. And the cat
figure out why the prisons are full and why we're
(04:43):
spending millions upon millions and billions of dollars to maintain
prison systems because the cats seem to get hurting people.
Speaker 1 (04:53):

Of my heart.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
Anytime I got close to anybody, I would be completely paralyzed.
I couldn't move, I couldn't speak, I couldn't do anything
that I wanted to do. It was like I was
in a bubble and everybody else was normal. But me,
I knew I had to do something about it. I
know everybody heals differently, everybody goes through something completely different
in these experiences. But RAIN gives you an opportunity to
(06:48):
speak out, to tell your story, to get the help
that you need. RAIN has given me an amazing gift.
It's given me the opportunity to tell my story to
help others heal themselves well. So at the end of
the year year which is now. If you have the
opportunity to give to rain, please do. Open up your wallets,
(07:08):
open up your hearts, and help help other people make
a change.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
Delight to be not afraid.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Child sexual abuse teaches children to live in fear.
Speaker 3 (07:29):
They feel alone, ashamed, and afraid. I have the right
to be left alone. Children who are sexually abused often
blame themselves. I have the right to be protected.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
Every two minutes someone is sexually assaulted.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
If this has happened to you, you don't have to
go it alone. It is never too late to get help.
