Speaker 1 (00:00):
Creativity is an addiction, unplugged because we will always say
yes to creativity, totally uncut because we all make mistakes.
So let's turn it into a tool. This is arrow
unplugged stream thinking. It's learning how to trust what is
in your present place of right now. To get there
require some practice. Here's what I do every day one
sheet of paper, just ten minutes, write about whatever is

(00:21):
moving through your presence, of all things right now, with
absolutely no judgment. Stream thinking sharpens your skills as a listener,
as a communicator, and as an activator. Learning how to
trust the right now. This is stream thinking today. We're
reading from September seventh, twenty twenty four. Making the effort
knowing in the end there may not be a payoff.

(00:44):
It is one hundred percent human to strive for success,
trying to be a better version of ourselves. Once on
the path, though, we meet several different obstacles that either
take us up or down. My pet peeve when someone
takes note of a victory and and they reply, you
are so lucky. What others don't see behind the curtain,

(01:04):
the unbelievable hours required to make the effort knowing there
may not be a payoff. The goal should be to
stay focused on how hard work and luck what completely
different paths. One expert says both are extremely overrated making
the effort because I made a choice. Those moments when

(01:24):
somebody sees something that you've worked so hard on for months, years,
your entire lifetime, and then they say you are so lucky,
when in fact, while you were building that path, luck
had nothing to do with it. It was character, it
was perseverance. It was that drive to reach the destination.

(01:47):
And even though you wanted to quit so many times,
and Lord knows we do quit, we set it aside
and keep coming back. I have talked with so many
authors and musicians that will be hit with a brilliant idea,
and because it's just sitting there, they do set it
aside and come back to it at a time they
least expected. You are so lucky. It's not luck, it's determination.

(02:10):
It's a willingness to allow yourself to constantly grow without
putting the pressure of perfection in your heart. I'm Marilyn,
and that's streame thinking
