Speaker 1 (00:00):
Creativity is an addiction, unplugged because we will always say
yes to creativity, totally uncut because we all make mistakes.
So let's turn it into a tool. This is arrow unplugged.
Ernie is my Blue Crown conyer. For over thirty years,
he's overlooked this forest right here in South Charlotte, North Carolina.
Every day, Ernie sits in his beautiful home, overlooking the trees,
(00:21):
the nearby lake, and every bit of the wildlife. Strolling
through those amazing trees that are filled with so much
peace from Mother Earth. Ernie and I share the same vision.
It's this forest. We both look into the trees and
study the earth below. There's something very spiritual going on here.
The lyrics to Ernie's Forest, we both receive an amazing
amount of energy. I put all of my trust and
(00:43):
skills as a student into what he's willing to share
with me. These aren't my words, these are the lyrics
from Ernie's Forest, Chapter number four hundred seven, January sixth,
twenty twenty four. Will I look at the moon differently?
I've seen so many moon rises this forest right here
in South Charlotte, North Carolina, fallen witness to a lot
(01:04):
of eclipses, and I've counted many, many, many falling stars
during a summer's night. Two private space companies are making
it possible for human ashes to be carried and delivered
to the Moon's surface, a sacred source of spiritual flow
and energy. Native Americans have asked the White House to
remove this from ever happening. The Moon shouldn't be turned
(01:26):
into a burial ground. The Moon is a guardian, a protector,
a timekeeper, and associated with transformation. The Sun and the
Moon work hand in hand to feed us on Mother Earth.
Why would we want such a presence in our daily chapters?
What are the long term ramifications? Do we really want
to see the moon as being a cemetery? What will
(01:46):
this do to a love song? Will we still be
shocked when we turn a corner and WHOA, there it is,
that giant, bright orange moon. Will it still be there
in front of us or will it lose its color?
The things that we're doing these days, the chance taking,
I understand the science of it all. I also understand
that dreams coming true when when Jeff Bezos takes those
(02:08):
people up in the air and they get to see
that big blue marble up there, for just a moment.
I get it. I understand it's our adventure. I totally
grip that we want to go into space and live
in space. I get that. But to turn the moon
into a burial ground, there's something to be said. What
will it do to us here on this planet? Will
(02:30):
you still fall in love with somebody in your life
knowing what you're looking at is a cemetery, It's not
the moon. The innocence of it all, and is it
really innocent? Probably not. But when a summer night is
being experienced and there's light music playing in the background
and you do nothing but stare at that moon, or
if you're on a beach and the moon is rising,
(02:51):
the innocence of that moment is held forever. But if
it's a burial ground, how is that going to change
us as people? These are not my words, These are
the lyrics from Ernie's Forest
