Speaker 1 (00:00):
Creativity is the addiction unplugged because we will always say
yes to creativity totally uncut because we all make mistakes.
So let's turn it into a tool. This is Arrow unplugged.
I like asking questions because the fund begins when you
start researching for answers such as why do we consistently
meet co workers and other people who claim to be

(00:20):
tired of working? Plus, is the disliking of your job
the real issue? My name is Arrow. I'm a daily writer,
a silent wolf. I stand on the sidelines and do
nothing but watch, listen, study, then activate. I call it
the daily mess, a chronological walk through an everyday world. Yep,
it's my morning pages. As a receiver of thoughts and ideas,

(00:41):
we as people tend to throw things to the side
and deal with it later. When a subject arrives inside
of me, I know it's time to dig in. It's
still keeping a daily journal, but by doing the research,
the picture becomes clearer. This is the daily mess. So
why do we constantly meet up with co workers and
other people who claim to be tired of working? I mean,

(01:03):
having a job is essential, yet we find it in
our hearts to make it known to everybody that, Oh,
I'm discomforted by being here. Research shows this is due
to several factors, including job related stress, mental exhaustion, a
lack of control, and a huge dissatisfaction with the current situation.

(01:23):
Every bit of this leads to workplace burnout, reduce productivity
at a huge decline in our overall well being. This
in itself leads to relationship problems, financial worries, and health concerns.
No wonder people are making it known about being tired
of working. Identifying the problem is only a step. It
is not the full solution. The goal is to locate

(01:46):
the cause while implementing a strategy to recharge and reshape
a new motivation. Number one, get support, prioritize self care,
Explore ways to shift your mindset, take breaks and respect
that space. Exercise and set a boundary. Be in love
with yourself and stop giving yourself away. Coming up next

(02:11):
is the disliking of your job. The real issue at hand? Hey,
thanks for coming back to the daily mess. Is the
disliking of your job? The real issue here? What if
it's just the trigger. We are the generation that likes
to blame other people and other things for our bad situations.
When your job or jobs are weighing your emotions down,

(02:34):
it's time to reevaluate your career. It's time to ask
yourself and not a friend, is this job the right
fit for me? Maybe it's time to explore other options
and interests that invite value to your life. Reward yourself
by celebrating little accomplishments. The goal is to stay motivated

(02:54):
and engaged in the project. I take daily walks that
I call a transition walk because I believe a change
in the environment is an incredible tool. I also have
a part time job at a stupid grocery store to
be with real people. Why are we locked in at
looking at our smartphone? It proves that we have completely
disconnected from a physical relationship with our community. If you

(03:17):
don't want to work at a store or a movie theater,
visit them. Get back into the vibe of being with
real people, watching and listening to people's voices. Your imagination
is in control of your burnout. I'm Meryl, and that's
the daily mess
