Speaker 1 (00:00):
Creativity is an addiction, unplugged because we will always say
yes to creativity, totally uncut because we all make mistakes.
So let's turn it into a tool. This is arrow unplugged.
I am a poet, one that just happens to write
in a forest. My forest is the Rainbow Forest right
here in South Charlotte, North Carolina. When I enter this
forest or any other collection of trees, I never know
what I'm going to write about. These are my words.

(00:22):
These are the lyrics from Rainbow Forest, chapter number three
hundred ninety eight, November eighteenth, twenty twenty three. Are there
hidden away words located in the trunk of a tree?
A childish question? Right? In so many different ways, and
yet you can sometimes hear the voices of many Some
spiritualists have explained this to me so many times. It's

(00:42):
due to the frequencies while walking through a collection of trees,
the sounds that humans have made over the years are
picked up and listen to. If you've never understood where
an echo goes? How long does an echo exist? In
the presence of a collection of trees? Once again, it
sounds like a speech of a young child writing out
his ambitious dreams. But what if our voices could be

(01:05):
preserved inside the trunk of multiple trees? What message would
you plant for a future passer by? And could it
be more than just one time? I do believe trees
hold on to words. Look at my daily writing. So
many giving trees have provided sound on this living page,
and for their giving I am so grateful. Hi Marril,

(01:27):
These are my words. These are the lyrics from Rainbow Forest.

The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
