Speaker 1 (00:00):
Creativity is an addiction, unplugged because we will always say
yes to creativity, totally uncut because we all make mistakes.
So let's turn it into a tool. This is Arrow unplugged.
When it's extremely difficult to make up your mind, I mean,
come on, Having the power of choice can actually weaken
a person's heart. On this episode, we're going to explore
why we make the choice to prune or not to
(00:22):
prune our life and lifestyle. Plus, the new choice is
to hold down several part time jobs versus one heavy
weight job. My name is Arrow. Life is a series
of choices. Who decides when you're not making the right choice?
Is it a fear of going wrong? The greatest lessons
in life are often lost inside hidden away attempts and concepts. Well,
(00:44):
it's time to reopen your heart. Having that choice is
your daily gift. On this highway, we learn to trust mirages.
What is the choice? Making the choice to prune back
our lives? What a heavy decision? Cut back too much?
That choice could actually have lasting effects. Mental health experts
(01:04):
say pruning our lives like trees is vital for growth
and focus. It allows us to locate purpose in our
life and safeguards as from being overwhelmed. The real goal
is to place our energy in the right place. Having
such control prevents us from spreading ourselves too thin. The
calling is to eliminate distractions and unnecessary comments, activities, and
(01:27):
more importantly, relationships. By making the choice to prune our lives,
we are realigning our visions and lifestyle within a spiritual journey.
It is seen as being the removal of dead branches
and habits, the things that hinder our personal growth. No
day passes that we don't find reason to bear fruit.
The physical journey begins with saying no. It will dentt
(01:51):
a lot of relationships, but it's truly required when developing
a strong mindset of reduction. Hey, coming up next, making
the choice to drop that full time job to do
a lot of part time jobs. Hey, thanks for coming
back to the choice. How about making that choice to
drop your full time job to take on many part
time positions. It's the real deal. For some, it means
(02:14):
making more money. It's also a huge tool when it
comes to diversification and career exploration. One problem though, and
I personally know this path very well. Making the choice
to leave a full time job to host. The idea
of several part time positions is extremely exhausting. There's a
limited personal time and a much higher rate of burnout.
(02:36):
The reason why millions are taking up the multiple part
time routes is due to corporate stagnant wages and the
high cost of living. It also offers job security, a
stronger net to fall into when doze or other uncarrying
business leaders get in the way of your ambition. But
one word of warning comes with this. Not all employers
(02:57):
like the idea of their staff having more than one job.
Your true position has got to be set on being
transparent with them. Never forget that they have the power
of scheduling, and that can be a pretty big effing wall.
I'm arrow, and that's what I was writing while the
sun was waking up on a brilliant new day.
