Speaker 1 (00:00):
Creativity is an addiction, unplugged because we will always say
yes to creativity, totally uncut because we all make mistakes.
So let's turn it into a tool. This is Arrow unplugged.
When it's extremely difficult to make up your mind, having
that power of choice can actually weaken a person's heart.
On this episode, we're going to explore the term and
actions of what's in it for Me? Plus Christians who
(00:22):
make the choice to steal items from a retail store.
My name is Arrow. Life is a series of choices.
Who decides when you're not making the right choice? Is
it a fear of going wrong? The greatest lessons in
life are often lost inside hidden away attempts and concepts. Well,
it's time to reopen your heart. Having a choice is
a daily gift. On this highway, we're going to learn
(00:42):
how to trust mirages. What is the choice? Making the
choice to ask what's in it for me? It's actually
earned its own acronym WIIFM what's in it for me?
Prioritizing personal benefits or gains when considering a situation or act.
What's in it for me is a common human tendency
(01:03):
that evaluates the potential of rewards. We're talking financial gain,
career advancement, and personal satisfaction. But is WIIFM a mindset? Yeah,
it is. It's looked upon as being a self interest
point of view. Not only is it motivational, but it's
decision making that leads to collaborative work by adopting new behaviors.
(01:25):
Making the choice to buy into WIIFM is used heavily
in sales and marketing. It highlights the value proposition of
the product and service. It also helps when businesses are
experiencing change in management. What's in it for me? Balancing yourself?
It's learning how to get what you want and need
while serving others who also have wants and needs, serving
(01:48):
both sides of the white picket fence. Hey, coming up next,
Christians who steal from retail Hey, thanks for coming back
to the choice. What makes a Christian speaking person want
to steal from a retail store? Well, it happens more
than you think, and it's completely one hundred percent human. Yeah,
(02:08):
it's breaking the Eighth Commandment proverb six thirty. From the
human point of view, stealing food is understandable. Men do
not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his
hunger when he is starving, but will pay for it
if caught. It's written in so many places that making
the choice to steal is a desire to get what
you want or need. Yet the jay Man Jesus constantly
(02:31):
reminded followers that God will provide for all who are
in need. But ba ba bu, but I never see
or hear of people stealing forgiveness or salvation Loop twelve
twenty two through thirty one. Jesus says, do not worry
about your life. Life is more than food, and the
body more than clothing. Seek God's Kingdom and all these
(02:51):
things will be given to you. Making the choice to
steal without a worry in your bones, how do you
bypass the guilt or fear choking on them that bone?
