Speaker 1 (00:00):
Creativity is an addiction, unplugged because we will always say
yes to creativity, totally uncut because we all make mistakes.
So let's turn it into a tool. This is arrow
unplugged stream thinking. It's learning how to trust what is
in your presence now. To get there requires some practice.
This is what I do every day, one sheet of paper,
just ten minutes, write about whatever is moving through your
(00:21):
presence of right now, with absolutely no judgment. Stream thinking
actually sharpens your skills as a listener, as a communicator,
and as an activator. Learning how to trust what is
in your right now. This is stream thinking today. We're
going back to August thirty first, two thousand, twenty four.
I'm strong on that one, two thy twenty four. Somehow
(00:41):
we knew it. We just knew it wouldn't go away. COVID.
The latest reports show it's on the increase, the highest
it's twenty twenty two. A news story reported that deaths
are also on the increase, which is kind of weird
because so many people in medicine have physically told me
that it's nothing more than just a cold. More masks
are being spotted in public, and the list of no
(01:03):
shows at work is increasing. People congregating indoors to get
out of the heat leads the way as to how
this is spreading all over the place again, especially when
it comes to traveling. We're not holding back on that.
Somehow we knew it would never go away. The CDC
reminds each and every one of us to be vigilant,
stay ahead of the COVID curve through the physical act
(01:25):
of always being aware. How did you react in twenty
nineteen when the rumors were just starting to happen. In fact,
that's how they treated it. It's just a rumor. What
do you mean a pandemic, this thing called COVID. We're
getting to that point in our lives right now and
it's only been really five years where people just aren't
(01:46):
thinking about it anymore. But yet we lived it. We
went through the lockdown, and we've had to wear the masks,
and we have fought about it. We have lost friendships,
we have lost family members, my mother I lost my
mother through COVID. Will our hearts ever truly or is
it set it aside and we'll deal with it later
or out of sight, out of mind? But it's still
(02:06):
there and people are still coming down with COVID and yeah,
for some people it's just a common cold, but for
others it could be their final breath. So how are
you staying ahead of the game while keeping one foot
back there to remind yourself how serious things really got?
Or did you even think of it that way? I
(02:28):
still wear one of my rebellious moments I do. It's
my hair. Until COVID, I was wearing it professional short,
but today it's in the middle of my back. Why
I don't know, except to say, how dare you put
us in a place where everybody just suddenly stopped and
(02:49):
had to grow again? But in a different way that
it's very hard to explain because nobody's talking about it,
but we're coming down with it. I'm Eryl and that's
stream thinking.
