You guys? This is a day of celebration because you
are bringing more kids bought music right back into our
lives again. And you know what they in doing research.
I talked with every generation and I couldn't find anybody
who didn't know who you were. And everybody has their
own memory of the music.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Oh wow, that's so cool.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
And to take this out on the road, how are
you physically getting ready to take this out on the road.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
What we're preparing next month we go to LA and
we rehearse for two months, getting all new choreography, songs
and just rehearsing to make a show and make it
great for this upcoming tour.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
And yeah, now to be part of this group, I mean,
first of all, you're you're You're living in the legacy
of so many people who've gone on to great, great things.
What do you guys do personally? I mean, are you?
Are you? How does the average day go knowing that
you're part of a legendary band.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
It's actually so cool. I remind myself that I'm in
Kids Bob every single.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
Day and it's like really fun.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
It's an amazing feeling, especially when dancing and singing is something.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
I have a huge passion for and it's something I love.
Speaker 3 (01:17):
And getting to do that almost every night performing for
amazing vance it is amazing.
Speaker 1 (01:23):
One of the things that I've always loved about kids bop.
I'm a mobile entertainer, So when I'm invited to play
music at an elementary school, I know for a fact
that your music is kids safe, and I you know,
you have no idea how grateful I am that you
have done that.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
Yes, that is our goal to make music that parents
can trust and kids can love and enjoy.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
When you're recording the music, what is the situation like?
Are you are you recording it in separate studios? And
then it goes into a bigger one so they can
they can master lock them together, engineer them or how
are you are you guys in the same studio together?
We're in different studios, Yeah, which is a fun thing
to do. And then this way, then when you hear
the final product, I mean, I mean, what is that like?
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Yeah, hearing the final product comparing to just hearing hear
voice is obviously a big difference, and it's just good
because I love music. I love listening to music. And
when I get to listen to music and hear myself
and here just a great put together piece of music.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
I love it. It's so cool.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
Now, what what do you take with you on the
roach where you're going to make this so basically a
journey to always remember are you journaling or anything like
that so you can talk about it because this is
a big, big year, this is the fiftieth album. Guys.
Speaker 4 (02:31):
Yeah, I actually last year I collected hotel key cards
and so fun because different hotels, different key cards, and
it was so fun. I collected fans bracelets like they
gifted us so many bracelets, so we all have a lot.
(02:55):
And yeah, I do journal and it's really fun to
see what I'll say.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
Hey, coming up next more with Cliff and Shila from
Kids Bop. Hey, thanks for coming back to my conversation
with Kids Bop. Kids Bop is all about the music,
it's about the fashion, and it's also about the positive attitude.
I mean, when you guys have to be on, you've
really got to be on, Yeah for sure, But to
do that though, I mean you, I mean that takes
a very happy person. Do you guys, are you in
(03:21):
meditation or anything like that that really keeps you guys
on that positive edge.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
I think we're just being ourselves, being free.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Being kids and enjoying the time we have as kids
and being able to make happy.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
I'm so glad that you said that, because there have
been some artists in the past that were kids, very
famous kids. They said they didn't have much of a
kid life. So to hear that you get to be
kids really puts a big smile on my heart.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
So what is it like when it when with all
the screams and the cheers. I mean, I mean, it's
something that's got to give you Energimmy, can you feel
that vibration on that stage?
Speaker 4 (03:57):
Yes, and the fans energy also gives us energy, and
that's what makes the whole show a show.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
Yeah, it's a different kind of feeling.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
Now, well, the tour itself take off across the entire country.
In other words, are we going to see you here
in Carolina?
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Yes, yes you will.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
I can just see it now. I mean, I mean,
just as a fan of music, as you're walking through
the auditorium and we know that you're going to be
on that stage in a matter of moments, it's so
fun to sit there and watch everybody get excited about
what's about to happen. Yes, So, now what kind of
experiences are you getting from this project, because I mean
we all have long term dreams and visions. Do you
do you find yourself getting into the engineering side of
(04:37):
music or maybe taking up acting.
Speaker 4 (04:42):
Yes, I would love to be an actor. I really
love musical so I would love to audition and be
in a musical center.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Same goes for me.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
I've always been a dancer, a singer, and I love
doing it. I have a passion for it. So really,
to me, Kids Bob is where I want to be
and Kids Bob is what I love doing.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
It is a great stepping stone from my future.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
Now, what about those that are going to come and
see you in concert and they have the dream of
being part of a Kids Bop? I mean, is it
like a you know, audition period? What happens to become
a member of the band.
Speaker 4 (05:15):
Yeah, Kids both posted an open casting call and you
basically audition sing and dance and then you get a callback,
and a callback decides whether you make it in or
whether you don't.
Speaker 1 (05:28):
And are you doing school on the road.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
Then, of course, you have a teacher.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
We have a teacher that comes on tour with us,
and we have like set hours that we work. Our
performance and rehearsing schedule around school is always the number
one priority.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
Well, that's what I've always loved about this band is
the fact that you know, you put school first, you
put your exercising in first. You really do come across
as a positive energy and you want the kids to
be able to grow from that because they need inspiration
like you guys.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Yes, of course, and we love being that inspiration.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Yeah. So where can people go to find out more
about the fiftieth album as well as this tour that's
going to be hitting the cities.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
Kids WHATP fifty is on all music platforms and you
can get our tickets at kidsbock dot com.
Speaker 1 (06:10):

in the future. The door is always going to be
