Death is unavoidable. While many see it as an unmistakable end to things, some interpret it simply as a transformation of energy into a new phase. Fewer still are able to feel and understand this energy, interpreting it for the rest of us. Paola Pedroza, a certified medium and clairvoyant, is one of those few. In Ghost Therapy, Paola brings emotional healing to her renowned guests by channeling the voices of those on the other side. EPISODES HERE: Https://www.iheart.com/podcast/1119-ghost-therapy-257618705/

Speaker 1 (00:03):
Good morning Arrow, Hey, good morning Bill. How are you
doing today. I'm all right so far so good. How
you doing doing very well? Doing very well? Looking forward
to a nice seventy degree day today? Oh serious? Yeah, yeah,
it's warming up in the Carolinas. Well, you know what.
I'm not not to brag or anything, but Friday morning,
me and Tammy are off to Arizona for three days,

(00:25):
so hopefully it'll be a little warmer there.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
It will not, it will not.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Are you serious?

Speaker 2 (00:33):
I know Arizona is super cold in the winter.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
It's gotta be better than here.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Well, anything's better here. You got a double so take
it away for Drossa.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Listen to your energy. How are you doing today?

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Thank you so much. And you know what, I'm gonna
take double credit for that because here where I live,
I started at seven a m. With the phoners, So wow,
wow wow.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
So I mean You've got to wake up and turn
it on right away, then, don't you.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Yes, But you know what, I've been a TV host
and an actress all of my life, well for twenty
something years, so I kind of know how to turn
it on turn it off, and it's become kind of
part of who I am now you.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Know, Yeah, where along the way did you learn to
communicate with those that people can't see, because very creative
people have a source of energy to reach beyond the norm.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Exactly, well, yes, exactly everybody has it. It's just like
somebody some people like me have it a little bit more.
But you can most definitely study, read about it, and
then try it out. If it works, then good for you, you know.
But yes, it is a lot about energy. I learned

(01:59):
about this when I was like seven or eight years old,
and I was very scary and we didn't even talk
about energies back then. It was like forty years ago,
so we didn't talk about energies. We didn't talk about
ghosts or mediums or anything like that. So I was
kind of like, you know, that odd man out kind
of thing, and I didn't know what to do. And

(02:21):
I actually knew what to do until I was like
twenty one or twenty two.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Oh wow, yeah, let me ask you this question, because
I mean, you said that you're being an actress and
a TV host art Was it you or was it
a spirit moving through you that became seen once again?

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Right? Well, you know, you never know. I'll answer you
based on my experience. I've never ever had that experience
where I'm like channeled into like the body experience. Never
It's always been you know, y're over there, I'm over
here and we're talking. You know, I've never had that.

(03:02):
My artistic background is just something I was born with.
I don't like my first toys were a microphone or
you know, anything that would be entertainment. And this is
what I love. This is my passion. And you know.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Things have changed, things have changed, and I moved back
to my because I had a daughter and everything. I
moved back to my hometown and and I with this podcast,
it's just like I'm mixing up what I know how
to do with what I love how to do. And
it all worked out in a really cool way.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Thank God for podcasting.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Well, you you have this very creative way of getting
inside someone's eyes and heart. Because your conversation with Curly
was amazing because I mean you were bringing you were
bringing things up with Curly that he didn't know, especially
with the flowers from his grandmother. But it made him
think and it made me think. So, I mean, you're
really touching two people there, right.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
The thing is that exactly That's why we called it
ghost therapy because when when we were doing this project
before it came out, I gave a reading to all
of them, you know, to all the people on the crew,
on the team, marketing team, everything. I said, listen, I
want you to know what my reading is about, just
so because I want you to promote something you believe in,

(04:18):
you know, And I gave them a reading, and I
guess you know, after a couple of meetings, they're like,
you know what it was like therapy? For me? It
was you know, everybody has different styles, you know, and
mine is kind of in a way, it's therapy because
what they do the deceased, they give you life lessons,
they give you tips. It's all these really cool things

(04:41):
that I keep for myself also, And it turns out
to be a therapy and it's really, like you said,
it's fulfilling for you, and it's fulfilling for them and
for everybody, you know, even I get something out of it.
And the thing is that when you when you do
a re or when you do reading with somebody that

(05:02):
claims to be a medium or a psychic, you have
to really be careful and you have to have them
tell you really specific things right at the beginning, you know,
because then it's like they were asking me the other day,
why do you ask for the date of the disease

(05:22):
instead of the date of their birth? And I said,
because with the date of their birth, anyone with knowledge
about what a taurus, what a virgo, what a libra is,
they'll just right away be like, oh, you are very stubborn,
you are very this and this and that, and everybody's like,

(05:43):
oh my god, I am I am yeah, because you
told them your date of birth.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
Duh.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
You know, don't give date of births, just I only
ask for the name and the date of the decease.
That's it, and that's all you got to do, and
everything else flows and everything else comes after that.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Well, you're gonna think I'm a freak because I don't
know the dates of my sister, my brother, my mother,
and my father. And the reason why is because I
believe they're in transition and they are not gone.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Oh okay, okay, let me tell you something about the transition.
I'm so glad you said that word. I'm going to
talk to you based on my experience, but I don't
claim to have the truth on my side. Okay, based
on my experience, when they close their eyes when they
when they die, they're immediately going up there with God

(06:34):
or whoever you believe in as a higher power. Don't
want to step on any toes with the religion, but
basically what they do is that they're up there and
then they're like, oh, I did this wrong, I did
this right, I did this wrong, and I you know,
I probably did something bad that I didn't mean to

(06:54):
and then you know, they ask for forgiveness. They're forgiven,
and then suddenly they become these people that are perfect.
You know, they can't feel hate, they can't feel remorse anything,
they can't even miss you because they can't feel anything negative.
So they're so happy up there, so so happy that

(07:17):
it's not that they're in transition. It's that they're just
over there and they're happy. And if you know they're happy,
I'm sure that your heart kind of rests a little bit.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
Yeah. Does it ever go the opposite direction? Does someone
from the other side ever reach to you and you've
got to find the person they're looking for?

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Thank God, No, because at the beginning, maybe when I
was like in my twenties, they would do that, like
I would be in my bed and then I would
feel somebody or something like that. I'm like, no, get away, No,
I'm closed. You know. It's like when I do readings,
I open up the door, I do the reading, and
then I close it back down because I live a

(07:59):
normal and I don't want anything to come between that,
so I close off. There's you know, there's been some
things that have happened, like the other day, I was
at a restaurant and the mariachi was playing and we
were having what were we having his food? I don't remember,
but anyway, we were having some beer. And then this

(08:21):
man comes up to me and he's like, the boy
that's in front of you, you know, I just died.
I'm his father. I really need to tell him something.
And I'm like no, no, no, I don't do that.
Sorry bye, and they're like please please, and he convinced me.
So I go over and I said, did your dad died?
And he started crying right away. He's like a week ago.

(08:43):
And I'm like, oh my god, I'm sorry. I didn't
need to make you cry. I know we're all happy,
we're singing, but he has something to tell you. May
I tell you what the message is and he's like, yes, yes,
and then you know, he gave him a message he
was gay, and I guess they never he never came
to terms with it when he was alive, and and

(09:03):
something about a necklace that he had on that didn't
show by the way, so he's like, you know, that necklace,
and then he pulled it out of you know, the shirt.
I was like, oh my god. He's like, please just
tell them that I love him, that I don't mind
that he's gay. I don't, you know, all these beautiful things,
and the poor guy was crying and crying. I'm like,

(09:24):
I'm really sorry. I know it's a Saturday. I didn't
mean to make you cry, but your dad really really
insisted on this. He's like, thank you, thank you very much.
But it's like really really not. I don't do it
that often because if I let one in, then everybody
wants to come in.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
I don't want yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, because I do that.
And when I when I wake up at you know,
two three o'clock in the morning, I feel like that
there's a presence there. I go. The rules are after
I wake up, we can have a conversation, not now completely.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
So you have this too, are you deep?

Speaker 1 (09:59):
My god? Oh, that's why I can relate with your show.
Because I'm sitting there, I'm learning from you. I'm sharpening
up my skills. I mean, I'm sitting inside a room
here that is blessed with so many Native American spiritual tools.
I have the ashes of my parents and my brothers
and sisters and things. I mean, this is a very
spiritual room.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Wow, that's beautiful that you have that, because that energy
is what gives you the good energy. You know, that's crazy,
and you've had it for a long time.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
You know. It's one of those things where I think
that I was called to it to be a better
communicator because I believe that. You know, it's like this
forest that I'm living in. I love it so much
because I believe something is here from the fourteen hundreds,
and because I mean, you can see the Native American rocks.
They're not They're not that far from here where they
used to live in there. So to go sit inside
where they once lived, that spirit is very much alive.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
Yes it is, Yes it is. And let me tell
you something that I just received right now. You are
a healer, and I'm sure, you've been told us before
you're a healer, but you're healing comes from talking to people,
comes from making people feel better, even with a simple
conversation about tennisues and you know what I'm saying. And

(11:13):
then what you do right now, your radio show, your podcast,
this is your way of healing people. So people think
you're a healer. Oh what you put your hands on
top of the stomach and then the councer goes away. No,
but you know we kind of think that because of
the Bible or I don't know, but no, you heal

(11:33):
with your words, you heal with your energy, and no
matter where you go, you're healing and you don't know it.
So it's you know, it's not about looking for what
to heal. It's about just being you, being your best self.
And that's the way you're healing people. So God puts
you in the right place, if that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (11:54):
Where do you go to replenish your energy? Because once
you've had a reading, you've got to you, I know,
you've got to have those moments where it's like a oh.
I always call it post production blows.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
Yes, total the post production blues I've always had because
I've always been, you know, an actress and a host.
I can't believe you said that because I have never
been able to put it in words. The post production blues.
If there's something about your doing what you love. You
just did a great scene, you just did a great show.

(12:26):
Yet I don't know, the lights go off and you're
like freaking depressed and you have to go home. You know, yes,
I know what that feels like. And I don't feel
like that after readings because when I'm on the and
when I'm doing the reading, I do a little prayer
along with everybody.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
You know.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
You know, I said, I take you back to the
light where you belong, thank you for being here. And
then I give that person back their energy. I take
my energy back and then you know, I do the
Sign of the Cross whatever whatever religion you are, and
then I feel super happy and I go about my day.
Nothing like the product post production blues, that's another thing,

(13:08):
you know, So but I do. I do, just do
it the prayer with everybody there, and magically it really
gives you, like that closure to go about your day.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
Do you also have those moments where you go into
a reading and then all of a sudden you're out
of the reading and you don't remember what went on,
but you know something was done.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
Absolutely. People call me because I have frequent you know,
my frequent clients sometimes and they're like, remember I told
you about this and that. I'm like, oh crap, I
don't know why, you know. And I try to be
nice about it, you know, but I explain to them
everything I spit out. It stays there. I don't remember

(13:51):
a lot of the readings or what happened, you know,
And I think it's normal what happens to you. I
don't know if that's normal you.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Yeah, it's one of those where I've got a dfrag.
I keep a written journal, and I've got to sit
there and I'll put things down so that I can
go back to it and learn from it.

Speaker 5 (14:09):
Got it, Okay, I need to do that, thank you.
I just learned that I do keep a journal, but
it's more about like I write and then I scribble
and then I put words and.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
Just things that come up to me. But I don't
actually like write things like a journal should be. And
I need to do that today. So no, thank you.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
Will you ever do any follow up conversations because I
would like to know what the suggestions that you offered
Curly when it comes to building that relationship. I would
like to know if Curly did find the right person.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
I have no clue I need to follow up on that.
I don't follow up. When I follow up is when
they call me for another session, okay. But the only
ways I follow up is when they call me they're like, Okay,
now I know what you are talking about. Because sometimes
they're like, no, I don't know what you're talking about.
Oh no, that doesn't sound what it is. Okay, that's fine.

(15:04):
You know. Sometimes maybe I'll make a mistake you know
it is, and then they call me like, yes, yes,
now I know what you're talking about. Or I talk
to my mom and she told me this story and
it totally coincides with what you told me. So that's
kind of how I follow up. But no, I really don't.
That's really wrong with me. But it's you know what,
I do this every single day, you know, and it

(15:26):
gets kind of overwhelming. I tried to like do that
one while my kid is at school, and then I
cut it off, and then I become a mom, you know,
no other choice.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
So when you go into a reading before it can
become words from your lips. You feel it, sware? Is
it your heart, your stomach? Do you feel it in
your head? Where do you feel at first? The presence?

Speaker 4 (15:51):
That's a great question. It's so unexplainable. I feel a presence,
but I don't see it, okay, and then what I
do see is images inside my head for no apparent reason.
I see maybe a beach, and then this and.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
That, and then I tell my clients, Okay, I'm looking
at a beach and I'm looking at this, and I'm like, yes,
it's because my mom, you know, whatever, whatever the thing is.
But it's just images, and I tell them what I'm
I'm receiving. That's basically how I do it. But I don't.
I don't feel like a very strong presence. I just

(16:33):
feel really really cool, beautiful energy. Even if I'm like
really sick or something. Suddenly I'm not sick, you know,
and then I turn it off and then I'm like, crap,
I'm sick again. But that's kind of how I can
explain how it goes.

Speaker 1 (16:51):
Yeah, oh my god, I could talk to you all.

Speaker 2 (16:53):
Day, I know, right and know it especially you that
you have the same thing. I could talk to you
all day too, okay, And I asked you a really
quick question. Sure, do you feel the presence or do
you like see things?

Speaker 1 (17:09):
Well, I'll tell you what I see im When when
I'm sitting here inside this studio, I'm twenty three feet
above this forest floor, I see the lake, I see
I see the deer, I see nature like you wouldn't believe.
I feel like I'm out there in that force. And
now I feel the energy from that, and that's what
leads me.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
Okay, okay, okay, you take in a way from that.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
Yes, I do.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
Okay. Oh that you are so lucky to have that
on your in your window.

Speaker 1 (17:36):
Yeah, God, it's just you know, you're right. Every day
I say, I'm lucky to see this, and that's why
that's why I respect it. And that's why I'll go
out there and I'll hug those trees. I'll talk to
those trees.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
Of course I do that too. But let me tell you,
like I said, you're in the right place at the
right time, and they are doing You're doing something right,
and that's why God put you in that office.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
Where can people go to find out more about you
and to reach out to you because they need to
learn more about themselves because you're also a great teacher.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
Yes, I do.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
I do webinars. I try, yeah, because let me tell
you something. What happens is that with me, when I
was little, nobody would talk about this. And now we
have TV shows. Now we have people like me and
like people like you. So we have to share, like
somebody at one point shared with us to make us

(18:32):
realize that we have this gift, you know. So I
do webinars maybe once a month or maybe once every
two months, you know, and I try to teach people
or at least get them on their way because you know,
there's a lot of people like us, but nobody really
knows how to handle it, and we need to get

(18:54):
the word out there to help them. You can. You
can get me a ghost therapy, which is in all
wherever you get your podcasts, we're right there. And also
you know I do my readings every day. You go
to Instagram to Bedrosa Paola which is my last name,
with my first name with a Z, and you can

(19:15):
book a you can book an appointment there, but sometimes
you can book an appointment just too. For me to
tell you what you do with your gifts so you
won't be scared. A lot of people are scared.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
You know, you be brilliant today. Okay, thank you.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
I'm such a positive energy talking to you. Thank you
so much for having me on and helping me promote
those therapy Thank you.
