Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's all in one location. Erro dot net a r
r oe dot net. I've talked about hosting seventeen different
podcasts for how many years, and it's been like, well,
where are they at? I don't know, just google it. Well,
that's not a good idea ero dot net a r
r oe dot net. Hey, it's arrow host of the
weekly podcast Podcrashing, four hundred and seven episodes that connect
(00:21):
listeners to podcast specialists around the world. My goal has
always been to inform our community with subjects that deal
with everything and beyond. I mean, podcast hosts are open
and always filled with a spirit that spreads their skills
as journalists, medical specialists, true crime solvers, gamblers, motivators, spiritualists, actors,
and even the children of famous people. I mean, seriously,
(00:43):
there's a podcast for every subject. This podcast, Podcrashing one
oh one, has been around since March of twenty nineteen.
The original goal was to put focus on helping up
and coming podcasters to have the right information about hosting
as well as surviving. The idea went fifty four episodes
before adopting a new plan. Why not talk directly to
(01:05):
the podcasters themselves, those who live the path The purpose
of podcrashing one on one is to help you build
your own platform, to promote it, and to learn how
to make money. Episode number four hundred and seven. Is
it too late for people to get into creating their
own podcast? There are millions and millions of things to
(01:26):
tap into and you can't help. But wonder is there
any more room in podcasting for a great idea to
sprout roots and begin climbing. First, let's cover the truth
behind why you really want to invest what little time
you have left into something that is amazing. When it
comes to outreach and connection, are you into sharing a
message or are you into making money? I mean there's
(01:47):
nothing wrong with either. Both require focus, dedication, and the
awareness of who you are and who you want your
listeners to be. The one thing you need to realize
is that podcasting has matured. It is not dead. If
you think employment turnaround is at an all time high,
you better look closer to the soul of podcasting. Yes,
there are millions of new podcasts every single week, but
(02:10):
guess what, there are millions of podcasters jumping out. Having
ten episodes is looked upon as being a podcast Sadly,
that's where most people drop out. If you want a podcast,
you need a perspective, show some emotion, and you need
to sharpen your skills as a storyteller or as I
always say, a story sharer. Coming up next, building the
(02:33):
right podcast? How do you get beyond the infamous ten
episodes before you drop out of sight? Hey, thanks for
coming back to podcrashing one on one. I'm blessed with
the opportunity to break bread with a lot of people
enjoying present day fame. When asked if they'll soon host
a podcast, their answer usually is I don't think so.
(02:54):
I'm a little bit late to this show, which is
absolutely not true. There's a shit in what podcast listeners
truly want these days. Individuality is the key thing. You
don't have to be a huge Hollywood celebrity to gain
access to a strong podcast following. The growth is located
in the depth, not the volume. This is why some
(03:16):
podcasters do one episode a week. Now I'm a radio guy.
I'm doing seven different episodes a day because I'm a
radio guy. I've been conditioned to do this for forty
six years, with way too much time to still say.
When you develop your own new podcast, create an intention,
have a real roadmap. Clever themes are great, but you
(03:37):
need two very valuable tools consistency and personality. It has
got to be about locating an authentic, loyal audience. But
in answering the original question of it being too late
for podcasting, the answer is no, it's not. It's always
the right time to say something. You've got a voice,
put it to work, But do you have the fire
(03:59):
to keep showing up every day or at least every week.
Good luck and may the Force be with you. Hi'm
aerow and that's podcrashing one on one
