Speaker 1 (00:00):
It actually has been a very fun journey. Since twenty sixteen,
I've been blessed with the opportunity to share conversations with
those that have performed on NBC's The Voice. So how
can you listen to them? Right? I mean we're talking
about all the way back to twenty sixteen. It's now
centralized on Arrow dot net, Roe dot Net. Enjoy the
exploration when it's extremely difficult to make up your mind.
(00:23):
I mean, having the power of choice can actually weaken
a person's heart. On this episode, we're going to explore
our power of choice? Are we losing it? Plus the
art of learning how to accept other people's choices. My
name is Arrow. Life is a series of choices. Who
decides when you're not making the right choice? And is
it a fear out of things going wrong? The greatest
(00:45):
lessons in life are often lost inside hidden away attempts
and concepts. Well, it's time to reopen your heart. Having
that power of choice is actually your daily gift. On
this highway, we're going to learn to trust mirages. What
is the choice to make a choice? Is it always
our choice? I had someone last night strongly tell me
(01:07):
that he was not going to walk anywhere near the
idea of using the bitcoin. His exact words were, I'm
too old to learn about new ways and waves to
move money. I mean, look at what happened this year.
It wasn't our choice, it just happened. The penny has
been removed from business registers. Nobody in my circle reacted
in a negative way. Now the Federal Reserve wants to
(01:30):
take out hand written personal checks. The reason is very
much in tune with where we are today. Digital payments
on your smartphone or computer are faster, safer, and much cheaper.
The older generation is not happy or in tune with
this idea, totally taking their eyes off how paper checks
(01:50):
usually lead to fraud. They're easily stolen, altered, and worse,
they're delayed. Again, this is a choice that's completely out
of our hands. Well, so is the in life. This
amount of updates that you get on your smartphone and
home computers. That update is going to happen no matter what,
even while you sleep. You can't stop change by denying
its forward motion. Coming up next, this thing called choice.
(02:16):
Does it really belong to us? Should we make the
choice to drop it from our vocabulary? Hey, thanks for
coming back to the choice, that choice, does it even
belong to us? Now here's when your choices do belong
to you. When your decision is based on value, made
without pressure, and you have a few fallback alternatives, would
(02:40):
do you lose the power of choice when circumstances limit
your options. Choice is lost through other people's power and decisions.
It also becomes a thing of the past through our
daily habits and stress. This requires a personal override. What
you should be asking isn't is this my choice? But
(03:00):
rather how much of this decision is actually me? Which
basically means decisions are a blend when other people's choices
aren't your choices. How should one choose to act or react? Well,
you've got to bring in a better attitude. How much
meaning are you putting into your decisions? Then comes the
(03:21):
decision of what's unfolding right in front of you? Does
it interfere with the freedoms of your daily life? The
fact that we get to make any choice is a
daily gift. Don't expect it, learn how to respect it.
It is a choice. I'm rril and that's what I
was writing while the sun was waking up on a
brilliant new day.
