Speaker 1 (00:00):
Missed opportunity. I love sharing conversations. Hosting them requires show prep.
My podcasting platform features thousands of guests. What you don't
have access to are my missed opportunities. The show prep
was completed, the conversation did not happen. I keep all
of my notes because I believe paths will one day
cross again. Let me explain missed opportunity. It's my questions

(00:24):
and statements without their answers. I'm leaving open enough space
at the end of each question, hoping they'll download the
talk and insert their answers. Missed opportunity is a lost
piece of history, like a message in a bottle that's
been tossed out to see. My goal is to help
locate a destination. This week, we're putting focus on my

(00:44):
missed opportunity with actor Austin North. Okay. Actor Austin North
starring in a brand new movie, Beautiful Wedding. It was
set to be released in theaters on February thirteenth, twenty
twenty four. The invitation to share a conversation with Austin
North arrived on February ninth, twenty twenty four. He's described
as being a dynamic actor whose innate ability captures audiences

(01:09):
in films and television. He's been dubbed one of Hollywood's
next breakout stars. Austin North starred in the Netflix smash
Outer Banks. He's the dude that played Topper Thornton. Remember
that he's also been seen in the drama romance film
Beautiful Disaster opposite Cole Sprouse and Virginia Gardner. And yes,
you may have caught him on the Disney Channel the
sitcom I Didn't Do It Now. Away from acting, Austin

(01:33):
North is very passionate about mental health awareness. He's launched
his own brand on a society that seeks to create
a dialogue by empowering people to be authentic without shining away.
February tenth, twenty twenty four I was blessed with a
twenty minute conversation starting at nine to forty, and that

(01:53):
conversation would take place on the fifteenth of February. My
response back absolutely perfect. On February twelve, another email blast
was sent out to get more interviewers on the list.
Moments like that, I go oh, oh, something's not happening here.
Then it happened. February fourteenth, twenty twenty four, The interview
was postponed with a note that said, we will reschedule

(02:15):
the conversation, and it didn't happen. Coming up next, my questions,
my statements for Austin North. Hey, thanks for coming back
to missed opportunity with Austin North. Your new movie Beautiful Wedding.
I mean, come on, waking up married in Las Vegas,

(02:36):
let that story begin. How are you able to melt
into each role? I mean outer banks to Beautiful Wedding?
Did you physically film in Mexico? I mean, look at
those sets, Oh my god, they're beautiful. Being part of
the rebirth of a great rom com performing on the

(02:57):
flat screen and theater screen as an actor, how do
you adjust to it? Basketball is your go to? Any
pickleball matches you take place in your skills as a drummer,
any recording plans in the future. Hey, kudos to you
and your heart. You aren't afraid to talk about mental health.

(03:19):
You launched on a society creating the quick scenes, the
topless beach. I mean, the humor hits the viewer really
really good. Well, I mean I was laughing out loud, dude,
the story about Abby and Travis. But all the characters
make this movie work. Your imagination is vivid, I mean

(03:42):
so amazingly connected to exploration. Ming won't ever die, She's eternal.
The circus of Witches and Gypsies love that set, an
electrical e insect. That's got to be something that has
to be built, seizing control of Oz. Can you imagine

(04:05):
that there's a deeply rooted story in this one, So
there's got to be more about New York City. I mean,
it's about people, but what are you vibing? The dark witches, good,
bad and evil Leopold he's battling with PTSD. I've never
seen this before. You guys make it so real looking modern,

(04:26):
but the characters in reality are pretty ancient. And my
final question, writing a future fantasy story, how do you
keep it unknown and very real? And there you have it,
My missed opportunity with actor Austin North. Missed opportunity is
a lost piece of history. You know the questions, so

(04:48):
let's locate the answers. The door is always going to
be open. If you are or no Austin North, please
reach out to me ARROWC at gmail dot com. That's
a R. R Oe C at gmailed dot com and
as usual, be brilliant,
