Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, what's going on. My name is Errow. This is
(00:02):
missed opportunity. I love sharing conversations. Hosting those conversations requires
show prep. My podcasting platforms feature thousands of guests. Now
what you don't have access to are the missed opportunities.
The show prep was completed, the conversations didn't happen. I
keep all of my notes, and the reason why is
because I believe that paths will always cross again. Let
(00:26):
me explain missed opportunity. It's my questions and statements without
their answers. I'm leaving open space at the end of
each question, hoping they'll download the talk and insert their answers,
then send it back. Missed opportunity is a lost piece
of history, Like a message in a bottle, it's tossed
out to see with the high hopes of locating a destination.
(00:48):
This week, we're putting focus on my missed opportunity with
actor David Arquette. Actor David Arquette is probably best known
for the Scream franchise. Well, in twenty twenty four, he
started in the movie The Good Half, which also starred
Nick Jonas as well as Elizabeth Shoe. David's role was
that of the stepfather to the lead character, who was Jonas.
(01:09):
The invitation to share a conversation arrived on August seventh,
twenty twenty four. One day later. I was approved to
share a conversation on the twelfth of August, which was
five days later at ten twenty four am. The note read,
this is going to be a quick tour, meaning it
would be from out of nowhere. Could I be ready
by Monday? And I said yes. In fact, my response
(01:30):
was absolutely perfect. By August ninth, I was told the
interview scheduled was going to be cut short, and that
meant that I was going to be cut out, followed
by these words our apologies. The same happened with me
when it came to Elizabeth Shoe. Now it didn't end there.
What happened was is that the door was open for
me to speak with director Robert Schwartzmann. No David Arquette,
(01:54):
no Elizabeth Shoe not added to the list, but I
got the director, which I'll play after I share my
show prep with David Arquette. And by the way, doing
show prep means physically watching the movies or the TV
shows long before they're even released. This wasn't a one
sheet conversation coming up next? My questions for David Arquette
(02:17):
on Missed Opportunity. Hey, welcome back to missed opportunities. My
missed opportunity was with David Arquette the movie A Good Half,
which was to be played in theaters. But in taking notes,
I really wanted to promote the fact that a lot
more people needed to watch this film because it is
so real. How did he deal with the realism that
came with it. This movie balances comedy and drama so well.
(02:42):
There's perfect pacing in it. Yes, there's a serious tone
to the movie, but every character actually lights up. How
do you react to it? Carl is the part that
you're playing. He's the stepfather. I can really relate with
this because we always get the bad rap putting this
movie into the eyes of viewers. It is so everyday life.
(03:05):
Did you feel the same when you show up at
the end with the materialistic things in your car? I
literally wanted to cry because it was so authentic your
emotions as well as those things you brought the casket.
Selecting that scene was life in forward motion art. Did
(03:26):
you ever dream about doing a movie with Nick Jonas,
I mean playing his dad. Really. I think what makes
this movie so real is that it embraces the story
of several different family lives. I experienced this movie. I've
watched it. That means I really got into the emotional
side of this movie. It's gonna get some head spinning
and it's gonna get some hearts thinking. Your emotional acting
(03:48):
skills work for me, dude. I mean I was so
drained out at the end of this movie because it
was that emotional. All right, that's it. Those are the
questions for David Arquette, missed opportunity. It's a lost piece
of history. You now know the questions. Now, let's locate
their reactions. Always remember the door is always open. Reach
