Speaker 1 (00:00):
We live in a society where there is so much
going on all at one time. How are you expected
to keep up? Aro dot netre dot net. Not one podcast.
There are seventeen to choose from because it deals with
everyday life and how we are moving through it. Aro
dot net thank you so much for your support Missed Opportunity.

(00:21):
I love sharing conversations, now hosting them requires some show prep.
My podcasting platforms feature thousands of guests. What you don't
have access to are my missed opportunities. The show prep
was one hundred percent completed. The conversation it didn't happen.
Happens all the time. I keep all of my notes
because the paths will one day cross again. Let me

(00:43):
explain missed Opportunity. It's my questions and statements without their answers.
I'm leading open enough space at the end of every question,
hoping they'll download the talk and insert their answers. And
it has happened four times. Missed opportunity is a lost
piece of history, like a message in a bottle that's
been tossed out to see. Now it's time to locate

(01:05):
a destination. This week, we're putting focus on my missed
opportunity with podcaster Noah Callahan Beaver. Noah is the host
of the podcast All Angles, a twelve part series that
highlights the brands from fashion, food, media and music. It
defines culture. Then Noah is ready to share a conversation.

(01:29):
Noah Callahan Beaver is a season context creator, journalist, entrepreneur,
and all around creative mastermind. He was there for two
up and coming hip hop artists total nobodies who came
into our everyday lives, Kanye West and Eminem. Because of
Noah Callahan Beaver, Noah turned Complex Magazine into a multifaceted

(01:52):
media empire. The invitation to share a conversation with Noah
Callahan Beaver arrived on June twenty six, two twenty three.
I was heavily inspired by his unscripted approach to doing
a podcast, allowing listeners to step behind the curtain of
big business while talking about those who created crucial teams

(02:13):
that not only changed the market, but culture itself. I
was given a twenty minute window to share a conversation
with Noah to take place on July twelfth, twenty twenty three. Well,
the morning arrived. One problem no zoom link at eight
fifty seven am I requested yet another one. I was
only thirteen minutes from the talk starting the note sent

(02:36):
in response, I'm sorry I forgot to tell you this
isn't happening. Coming up next my questions my statements for
Noah Callahan Beaver from the podcast All Angles. Hey, thanks
for coming back to missed Opportunity. This is my missed

(02:56):
opportunity with Noah Callahan Beaver. You stare into the world
of music. They don't have to exactly like you, but
you bring something they want. The name of your podcast
is called All Angles. All angles meaning fashion, food, media
as well as music. That's a pretty big pair of

(03:17):
shoes to fill. You step behind the curtain of American
business success. How did you get to receiving a yes
when so many of these businesses are saying, uh, uh
uh uh, who are you again? When will it air
walker wear? It's fashion that's always been treated like a king.

(03:37):
How do you reach that mass appeal? Lord Records, creative
dreams were in the hands of the doers, not the thinkers.
When do you know that you are face to face
with that doer? See? I believe in building teams the
old fashioned way. What about you? Do you have a

(03:58):
modern day culture that you're really attached to. I mean
it feels like that we are everywhere all at once,
but where are we but somewhere? The success to be
a company is usually based on what something from the founder,
But where does that founder find that inspiration and empowerment?

(04:19):
Who is April Walker and why should we study her journey?
You take those steps. There is so much success going
on that is unnoticed, and you are the voice that
replenishes our need for content, earning your leisure. That's a

(04:40):
big term, earning your leisure. Moving from a top creator
to a major event. And there you have it, my
missed opportunity, a lost piece of history with Noah Callahan Beaver.
If you are Noah or no Noah, have him reach
out to me erro c at gmail dot com. That's

(05:02):
Arrow C at gmail dot com, a R. R. O
E C at gmail dot com And as always, be
brilliant
