Ladies and gentlemen, they I have your attention. Please. The

(01:16):
show starts in right eight seven six five A three
two one cool.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Oh well, Hello, Hello, Hello, and welcome.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Welcome, Welcome to another episode on the Crew podcast. I
am Angela the Visionary, and y'all we are celebrating these
amazing queens doing international Women's History months. So I'm excited
tonight to have one of the amazing authors that represent

(02:01):
the one hundred authors to watch movement on tonight. She
wears many hats, so tonight I'm gonna move out the
way and give her an opportunity to come up, introduce herself,
and we're gonna jump in the conversation, find out, you know,
what she got going on, how we can follow and
support the things that she has going on. So I'm

(02:22):
going to bring her up and allow her to introduce herself. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome,
How are you?

Speaker 4 (02:31):
I am well, thank you, thank you for having me.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
Of course, of course, if you would please introduce yourself.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
I am Apostle, doctor Kimberly Thomas. I am located here
in the great city of Tallahassee, and I'm glad to
be here tonight with you.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Amen. Amen, I know that you are an author. You
are a one of many hats.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
I'm excited to have you a part of the one
hundred Authors a movement and as one of.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
The group leaders.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
If you could share with the listeners tonight a little
bit about your journey as an author.

Speaker 4 (03:12):
Okay, as an author, I started out actually as a poetist.
I started writing at the age of sixteen, going through
some things in my life. Life changes as many teens do,
and I found myself writing poetry. I have a couple

(03:32):
of poems that have been a part of several anthologies
that are in the Library of Congress, and I progress
from there. I guess around about twelve to thirteen years ago.
The Lord allowed me to start capturing parts of my
life and just documenting them on paper, and it took

(03:57):
about ten years or better for him to give me
the release to actually release that information, which was one
of my first literary projects, which is entitled Free from
Broken Beginnings. It is a story about my tattered past
and my triumphant and victorious outcome. So he has allowed

(04:23):
me to be able to capture many dark places that
I have traveled through in order to bring healing and
restoration to others who are going through various things in
their life. I also during that time I was able
to pin a effective prayer manual which I utilize in

(04:45):
a lot of my trainings for prayer in the area
of prayer. So God has really been good to me.
I have continued to journey through my literary works. I
have released several pieces this year, one of which is
a book that really helps individuals as they are transitioning

(05:10):
or prior to transitioning, to help their families know which
way to go once they die. So it is very
informative and a very comprehensive walk through the journey of
getting your affairs in order and leaving information for your
family to be able to follow and not have the

(05:32):
stress of finding documents and locating information and guessing about
your wishes. So I'm really grateful to the Lord for that.
My other literary project that was released earlier this year
was a thirty one day Prayer Journal, which is thirty
one days of Psalms, and so I'm just grateful for

(05:54):
God and him allowing me to be able to pen
several literary projects. Most of the projects that I have
penned are self help and they allow individuals to actually
journey through Bible studies and different aspects of their Christian
walk in order to develop a closer relationship and walk

(06:17):
with Christ.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Wow. I truly love what you're doing and really sharing
the Word of God because a lot of us and
a lot of us have gotten out of church and
we need we need this because I often remind people
that you know, he said we're gonna do greater works,
and how will we How would people know of those

(06:40):
greater works if we're not putting them to paper, if
we're not putting them in a form that they can
be archived so that they can be recovered later. I'm
just I'm excited in that book that that journal on
helping individuals get their last I guess you would say

(07:03):
Will and Testament in order those last wishes, those things
that you wish to happen as you transition to the
next rim That that is nice because oftentimes, you know,
people wonder, you know, what what they loved ones have wanted.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
You know, you often.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
Hear your loved ones say, well, I don't don't do this,
don't do this, do this for me, do this for me,
and then when the time comes, then it's.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
It's oh, well, I don't know what they will want.
I don't know what they were want.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
But I remember, you know, in September having to you know,
lay my brother the rest and I just remember my
brother just saying.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Do not do this, and do not do this, and
do not do that.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
And that's all I remember. And you know, I let
my nephews know, Hey, you this is what yoh, yeah,
we know this because this is what he always told us.
So if you have that, you know, some people, a
lot of people don't have that.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
That that the.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Relationship where you know, they voice that opinion and people
are able to take that.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
So we need that. I'm excited about that.

Speaker 3 (08:13):
If you would share with us just a little bit
about that, because we know that that is a process
that we all have to journey.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
We're all gonna have to journey that. That is something
that we're promised.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
You know, we have a beginning date and and and
we're gonna have an end date. So that's something that
we're gonna have to do. And having those things in
place to make it easy easier for the family. We
know it's not gonna be easy, but making it easier,
making it, making it you know, really what they want.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
So what are some things that we can look forward.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
To in in that that journal, that that book that
can help us with that process.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
The book is actually entitled When I Die, and it
is a comprehensive, step by step giving your loved ones
a glimpse of everything. So it starts out with you
giving your wishes all the way from how you want
to be dressed, what funeral home you may want to

(09:17):
go to, what cemetery you may already have a plot
purchased in, or where you would like to be. It
also gives comprehensive information as far as your assets, where
you can list your assets to allow your loved ones
to know where to go to find certain documents, certain aspects,

(09:38):
certain assets that you have. It lists your all of
your accounts, your passwords, so there's a lot of information
in there for you to be able to leave for
your loved ones. So many times individuals die and after
they die and the funeral's over and you're looking, you're
trying to figure out, well, where's this and how do

(10:01):
we take care of this? You know what bank did
they bank with? Or where are their assets? You know
what cars did they have? What deeds do they have
to their homes. Where what we find all of these
different things. And so this gives you a step by
step journey of a place to place all of your documents.

(10:22):
There's an envelope that comes along with the book for
you to put your documents in your important documents. It
gives you an outline of places to actually tell your
loved ones where to find these things. It also allows
you the opportunity to begin to even write out your

(10:43):
own service. You know, who do you want to officiate
your service, Who do you want to do the eulogy,
individual purpose, persons that you might want on program, somebody
that you may want to say something over you as
a friend or as a neighbor. So it gives you
a very comprehensive list of It's like a to do

(11:07):
list basically. It even goes down to listing your relatives.
You can put your your list of your relatives there
and all this information, so it's compound where your loved ones.
Once you die, you have this packet. You have the
packet of information, the copies of the deeds, the copy

(11:28):
of the titles to the cars, documents of insurance and
different things for you to be able to just have
it in one place and not have to search for
certain documents and I have to run around and try
to figure it out. Many times when individuals died, the
hardest thing is to find out how to get to

(11:52):
these these important documents. They don't know how to access
the finances. And so this gives you a chance before
you die to put all of your affairs in order
so that your loved ones have it an easy way
to go. We know that death is not easy, so
this kind of takes a lot of the stress off

(12:14):
the back end of trying to figure out where the
assets are, trying to figure out if you have a
will and testament, if you have living wills, if you
have a power of attorney. One thing that I want
to share is that a power of attorney. Many people
think that power of attorneys last forever. They do not,
They die when that person dies. So it's very important

(12:38):
for you to understand that you should have at minimum
a will, but most assuredly, if you have assets, you
should have a trust so that you don't have to
worry about it. You know, with a will, you're gonna
have to go through probate. With a trust, it's a
lot easier because your wishes have already been placed, So

(13:02):
I would recommend anyone in the book also recommends that
you seek legal counsel for a will and trust. You
can write your own will in most states just having
notarized with witnesses. However, a trust needs to be set
up with an attorney so that this information can be

(13:23):
properly documented and it will also assist your family when
that time comes.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
Well, that was some great information. I was gonna ask
was there information that could help them legally? And that
kind of answered my question because that that's usually what
people want to know. We have all the information, but
it's just legal, it's this binding, it's this this this
stand up. So once these things, once we have all

(13:54):
this and it's notarized or we've had we've gone through
the process of getting the lawyer, how.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
Do we.

Speaker 3 (14:05):
Make sure what is the steps for making sure that
this is this book or whatever is taken care of
and given to the right people and it's in the
right hand so that it can be.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
You know, taking care of as we wish.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
So how can we make sure that that that book
gets to the right person. Should we go, should we
leave it with the lawyer, or how should we go
about that.

Speaker 4 (14:34):
I would recommend it. I'm not I'm not an attorney.
Let me put that disclaimer out there now, I'm not
a an attorney, but I would recommend that once it
is done, you either give it to the attorney or
you put it in a safe deposit box, put it
somewhere where it is going to be accessible by particular individual.

(14:56):
You know safe deposit boxes, you have a certain individual
that you can give access to, so that in that instance,
I would make sure that a copy is given to
the attorney. And if there are other important documents that
I would want someone else to know, I will make
sure that they would also have a copy of those
documents and they would be put away in a safe

(15:18):
place as well. But with the attorney having knowledge of
the information that is in there and the person that
should actually receive that information.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
That that is some great information, especially for those that
you know.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
I have some individuals that have family members that are
in the process of transitioning, so these will be some
great tools for them. How can they purchase this book?
How can they get their hands on this book.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
At the current time? You can? You can email me
for a copy. I will be glad to send you
out a copy of the actual book along with the
envelope for all of the documents to go into and
it can be purchased that way. You can email me,
you can uh d M me on Facebook, and I

(16:15):
will make sure that you get a copy and get
the information to you.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
Awesome, awesome, awesome. That is great that it would be
nice if individuals offered workshops to you know, go through
these things. So I'm looking forward to maybe seeing some
workshops from you. We helping individuals get get those those

(16:40):
things in order, because it's it's it's it's great when
the process can be a little light.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
I ain't gonna say it's gonna be easy, but it
can be a little lighter, less lesser for you to
have to worry about. I can honestly say that my
brother transition was a lot smoother because we didn't have
the pressures of wondering what we were going to do

(17:12):
and how we were going to do it.

Speaker 4 (17:14):
It.

Speaker 3 (17:14):
It moved so swiftly and so smooth because my brother
had already made his wishes known and his boys listen.
They heard him, and they listened, so that was amazing.
So to make that process a lighter for someone else.

(17:35):
I'm excited for you and and how God placed it
in your spirit to be able to do that. Know
that was all him because he he know what we need,
and I'm grateful.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
I'm grateful for that.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
You are a part of a new podcast that's coming
up on the Crew podcast and it's dealing with grief.
So tell us about that and what you're looking forward
to with that opportunity.

Speaker 4 (18:09):
I am excited to have the opportunity to be a
part of this particular podcast. This is something that is
really near and dear to my heart when dealing with
individuals who are walking through this particular journey. As a
minister of the gospel, we see so much that transitions

(18:34):
during times of grief. We see many phases of grief.
We have actually I have actually walked through grief myself,
just losing our daughter. We lost our daughter in two
thousand and four, and just to have the Lord be
with me during that time and understanding that even when

(18:56):
there is more than one person involved, because I had
to come to the realization that my husband had his
process of grief which was different from my process of grief,
and we processed it very differently, and so to be
a part of this project and to be able to
lend my voice to some of the things that we

(19:19):
walked through as parents, parents who have lost a child.
We lost an infant and then we lost an adult
son as well, so two different scenarios. Both of them
were very different in the walk through the grief, but
it was still a walk, it was still a journey.
And so to be able to not only speak from

(19:44):
a personal perspective of individual who has taken that journey,
but also to be able to speak from a spiritual
perspective from how God had, how God has and continues
to walk with me through that journey. Even though it's
been almost twenty one years ago, there are still some

(20:05):
days that you know, are more vivid than other days.
There are still some days where it seems to overwhelm
you sometimes when you start to think about, you know,
what would their life have been like, and how you know,
how different my life may have been had they still

(20:26):
been here with me. There's still those moments where you
think and you're having these glimpses of you know, what if.
And so it's a process. But I want people to
understand that even in grief, there is no specific time

(20:47):
for you to get over someone leaving. There's no specific
time because of the simple fact that I was five
years old when my mom passed away, and I still
have moments. Mother's Day is a time that used to
be very difficult for me just being there. You know,
you're in church and on Mother's Day and you have

(21:09):
all these these individuals with their mother and their loving
on their mother's and they're celebrating their mothers, and then
you're you're here and you're saying, well, my mother's not
here with me. I have many mother figures, but to
say my biological mother is not here, you know, those
are those are moments in time that sometimes you know

(21:32):
you you you have those moments, and sometimes they cause
you to reflect in a way that grief is it
will set in. So I'm really excited about the opportunity.
I'm excited about what God is going to do. My
prayer is that many people will leave the podcast each

(21:55):
episode being blessed, being healed, being delivered, having a little
more insight on walking through grief, and being able to
really decree and declare some freedom and some liberty, because
grief can be something that can really overwhelm you to
the point to where it is weighing you down. And

(22:15):
so we want them to be free, We want them
to be lighter, We want them to understand that, you know,
grief is something that we're all going to have to
walk through. But with God, we can walk through it
and we'll make it through it. He's there to help us.
He says that he draws ninde to those of a
broken heart and those of a contrast spirit. And so

(22:37):
when we learn how to walk through grief and walk
through it with God and knowing that we never walk alone,
I really I'm grateful for that and I'm really looking
forward to the impact that we will make on the community.

Speaker 3 (22:52):
Now when I tell you, this woman of God is
really making an impact and just giving of herself and
allowing God to truly use her gifts and her talents.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
Not only is she a part of this podcast, she also.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
Pours and give and sews into our five am prayer call.
We've been on this prayer line going on well.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
This year.

Speaker 3 (23:20):
We celebrated five years in February, and I think Apostle
came on our second year and on the prayer line,
and she's been with us. This year made the fourth
year for her, and I tell you she's truly been
a blessing to us. She has sown and she truly

(23:42):
pours into us. And I tell you she sacrificed because
she could be anywhere, but she chooses to get up
every morning at five am and oversee our prayer call
and to cover us. She don't have to, but God
laid it in her spirit to be a part of

(24:03):
this prayer line. And I tell you, I'm so grateful
for her because we have truly seen God move. And
I just want to thank you publicly for all that
you do because you don't have to, but God has
truly given you a a a servant spirit, and you
serve at all costs. And I just pray that He

(24:25):
just bless you for all that you pour out. You
are so willing to sow and to give, and I'm
grateful you have truly you You probably don't even realize
the impact that you have on so many lives, but
you have truly impacted my life. I will never forget
those words that that that you often say is. It

(24:48):
just resonates in my mind every time I do something
that that you do for others, God would do for you.
You know, I constantly that that constantly he plays in
my mind and it plays in my heart. So when
when I'm doing something, I'm reminded that if I'm not
doing it unto God, I can't do it.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
So I'm grateful for You.

Speaker 3 (25:14):
I truly am thank you for all that you do.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
What has this prayer line me to you?

Speaker 1 (25:24):
Who?

Speaker 4 (25:25):
Okay the prayer line? Oh my God. When I started
this journey, I started this journey as one one of
the contributors to the One and twenty one Day Anthology.
Never thought in a million years that God would have
taken my life to where it is today four years later,

(25:51):
well five years later, because I started with the the
anthology and then four years into the prayer and so
I'm just really grateful to God. I have always been
a woman of prayer. That is my life. I don't
I cannot make it without that, without prayer, and I
understand that. I've understood that from a very young age,

(26:14):
going through many of the things that I have experienced.
It only took I only came through those things through
prayer and through the help of the Lord. And so
prayer has always always been a part of me. That is,
that is who I am, and I just thank God

(26:35):
for him choosing me to be an intercessor, and I
thank God for him giving me this assignment because it
is truly an assignment from God. Because one thing that
I want us to really understand and realize, everything that
comes to us is not our assignment. And I am

(26:56):
well aware of that, even being an intercessor and a
prayer warrior, everything that comes before me is not my assignment.
But God assigned me to this prayer line, and I
honor God with everything. I have seen God's hand move

(27:16):
over these past four years in such a mighty way
just being on the prayer line. And sometimes we start
off and God will just take us to a whole
different realm, to the point to where we are not

(27:37):
we're not ourselves. When I say we am speaking of me,
not myself, but standing in the presence of God, and
God just begins to speak to his children, and I
give him glory. I give him glory. I'm honored to
be chosen by God. I thank God for the invitation

(28:03):
to even join the anthology and then to move on
and transition into the prayer. You know, we started out
at one hundred and twenty one days of prayer in
the first couple of years. And God has transitioned us
to be back into prayer after just the little break

(28:25):
and to continue on. And I'm so grateful because prayer
is so needed. It is needed. Many of us don't
realize that we operate and we're moving off of the
prayers of others because some of us don't really pray
like we should. And it's the prayers of others that
are helping us, that are carrying us, and that are

(28:47):
keeping us. And so I just thank God for being
chosen for this assignment. And I just can't say enough
about the things that we've seen God do. He has
truly moved, truly blessed us, He has truly spoken to us.

(29:08):
He has transitioned and made great changes. There are so
many individuals that are on our prayer line or and
on our prayer list that God has literally transformed their lives.
And I'm just I'm grateful. I am truly truly grateful,
and I just thank God. I can't thank him enough

(29:32):
for the opportunity.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
Amen.

Speaker 3 (29:35):
Amen, Well, I truly truly thank you for being a part.
I have truly witnessed God move and I tell people
all the time you know, people make it seem like
it's so hard to live for God and to serve God,
but it is truly not. If you place it in
your heart like he would, truly do it, like he

(29:58):
truly a teas to the matters of the heart. And
if you just place it in your heart like truly
and just watch him move. And that's what I've done.
I've truly watched God move. I didn't know what I
was doing. I was just obedient, you know those three letters.
It was three letters, the three l's. Like. I was like, okay, God,

(30:21):
and then he dropped words in my spirit. I was like, okay, God,
who won't listen to these words? And I was like, okay, well,
what you want me to do with the words? And
then I came up. He started just dropping things in
my spirit. I said, okay, so I got Pam.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
I got.

Speaker 3 (30:36):
There was another young lady that started with us in
the beginning, and then Shaniya ended up joining us. And
then I was like, okay, Lord, I say, okay, we're
coming together, we're praying.

Speaker 2 (30:44):
Now, what do you want me to do? And he
just said, just keep showing up.

Speaker 3 (30:49):
And every day we would just show up in the beginning,
it was just me, Pam and Shaneeria, you know, and
we just kept showing up. We just kept showing up.
We just kept showing up, and I just kept inviting
people and people would come. We've had so many people
come through the prayer line. But I tell you, God
has surely moved and I'm just grateful because He has

(31:11):
truly shown himself and he allow us to share his
goodness in a way that you know, I can't not
let it go. Greater works, those greater works that He
say we shall do. You know, we can't rewrite the Bible,
we can't add nothing to it, we can't take nothing
away from it. But we can leave the evidence. And

(31:33):
we can leave the evidence through these books. We can
leave it through these podcasts, we can leave it through
the things that we're doing, and we can truly reference him.
We can surely bring him glory that he's truly deserving of.
And I'm just so grateful. I'm grateful for that prayer line.
Another thing that you are a part of is the

(31:54):
one hundred Oddsme movement. You are one of the group leaders,
and I've been asking a lot of individuals are part
of this movement what is your desire to take away
from this movement? But what are two things that you
desire to take away from this movement?

Speaker 4 (32:18):
The one hundred Author's Movement. I have really been I
think empowered by some of the other authors, some of
their books, some of their information that they have released,

(32:38):
the literacy, the literature that they have released. There are
so many awesome authors out here, and just to be
a part of this movement is it's awesome. It's a
great experience, first of all, to be included in the
one hundred Author's movement. The thing that I really am

(33:02):
looking for and I have seen so much within the
group is the collaboration. Those that realize that we're all
in this together. It's not a big eye or a
little you. We're all working together. And some of us
have more knowledge, more resources, more information, more access than others.

(33:27):
But it's the point that we're not gatekeepers and we're
not trying to keep everything to ourselves, but just being
willing to share with others, so that we are not
just self promoting, but we're promoting others. We're promoting each other,
we're supporting each other, and I think the support is

(33:47):
one of the things that is very important, but it
is lacking in our community because many of us, we
don't have a heart of servitude, We don't have a
heart that is willing to really get out and support.
But to be a part of the one hundred author's

(34:08):
movement and to see the support that each of these
authors give to each other, just supporting, promoting each other,
just you know, just shouting out somebody's books, shouting out
something that they're doing, helping them to promote them, helping

(34:29):
them to promote their work. And that is the thing,
And that goes back to what you make happen for others.
God will make happen for you. When we stop being
concerned about our foreur and no more, we will be
able to see that we are able to grow. I'm
really looking forward to this movement breaking down a lot

(34:51):
of barriers of negativity, a lot of barriers of dissension
and division to allow others to be able to see
that we can work together. So many times people don't
think that our community, our black and brown community, can
work together, but we really can. We can work together

(35:13):
and we can build some things. And it's all about
building a community, building a community, building relationships, being able
to work with someone that may write of a different
genre of literature than you. This is something that we're
able to promote. You know, there are authors that I

(35:33):
have actually reached out to. Hey, you know, I would
love to have a copy of your book. Tell me
how to get a copy of your book. I want
to be able to support the authors. I think that
that is that's very important, being able to support one another.
And as we support one another, then that helps us

(35:54):
to not only build our brands, but also help to
push somebody else to build their brand. So I'm really
excited about the movement. I'm really excited to see what
God is going to do and where God is going
to take us. You started something that really sparked in
my spirit that you have coming up, and I think

(36:17):
that it would be something that would be great for
us to be able to do as a whole within
the Author's movement, with every region being able to do this.
And it's something that we're going to pick up here
for our narrative group. We're going to actually pick up.

(36:38):
I want to be able to promote authors in a
book tour as well as the prayer Breakfast. I think
that is so important. I think that was just such
a power move. I know that was a move of
God in order to be able to bring that forth,
and so I'm looking forward to that because that's another
opportunity to build relationships. It's another opportunity to network and

(37:03):
to also be able to get your information out while
you're helping others promote their information.

Speaker 2 (37:11):
Amen. And that's what it's all about.

Speaker 1 (37:14):
You know.

Speaker 3 (37:14):
I often tell people those four seeds. He dropped those
four seeds in my spirit, and it is connect, collaborate,
create and community like that. That that that is what
this movement is all about. It is about us making

(37:36):
those connections, us coming together, us us finding those those
people that can help us in those areas that we're
weak in. You know, he said that we're supposed to
be help makes one to another. So if there's an
area that I am weak in then and you are
strong in that area, then I'm gonna look for you

(37:56):
for some support and some guidance and some help. So
I'm grateful that He's allowed us to connect and then collaborate.
You know, there may be areas where we can come
together and be a force, because there may be something
on your journey that people on my platform may need,

(38:17):
but I can't give it to them because I've not
went through that journey. So us being able to come together,
us being able to partner, us being able to to
make that connection and able to bring those two platforms together,
That's what it's all about. And then us being able
to create something that allows that camaraderie, that that opportunity

(38:43):
for individuals to come together, and it will build our community.
You know, it's not just about our four and no more.
You know, it is about you know, once we've got
ourselves together, once we've healed, once we've gotten the want that,
once we got that strength, it's up to us to

(39:04):
make sure that our house is in order. Then once
our house is in order, it's up to us to
branch out into our community. It is our jobs to
make sure that.

Speaker 2 (39:15):
Our community is okay.

Speaker 3 (39:18):
And then once we got our communities in order, then
guess what, Then we can start reaching out to the regions.
Then we can start going national, Then we can start
going global, because that's what we're supposed to be. We're
supposed to be able to reach all four corners of
the earth because there's somebody out there that is waiting
to hear your message. They're waiting to hear that thing

(39:41):
that God is put down on the inside of you.
Because he didn't throw us here, he didn't drop us
out the sky. He strategially placed us here. He said
it in Jeremiah twenty nine and eleven. He declared that
he had a plan. And when he declared something, that
means it's niched in stone. That means it has to
happen because he declared it.

Speaker 2 (40:02):
So know that the plan is the plan. We can
dB a, we can.

Speaker 3 (40:08):
Get our track. We we we can we can choose
free will and and and and suffer the consequences from
that free will. But it's always going to go back
to the plan that he had for us from the
beginning of time. It's not gonna change. You just have
to go through the consequences. You just have to endure
so he can build that character, so he can truly

(40:29):
build you into that person that.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
He called you to be.

Speaker 3 (40:34):
And and I'm grateful for this journey with you. I'm
grateful to be able to share all of these different things.
I'm excited to have you come and be a part
of our first stop here in East Point in the
Atlanta area on April the fifth. Not only is it

(40:59):
our first stop and we're gonna be celebrating a book,
because you also did the forward for this book, so
you had your hands in that. But we're also gonna
be celebrating my fiftieth birthday. We're also gonna be celebrating
my fiftieth birthday. So I'm excited to have Apostle in

(41:20):
the building. We're gonna start our morning off with a
prayer breakfast. We are coming from behind these walls. We're
coming together and we're going to fellowship. So we're gonna
start off with the prayer breakfast. So we're gonna feed
our spirit, and we're gonna speed our physical. We're gonna
feed our physical in our spirit. And then Apostle is

(41:44):
gonna bring forth that word. She's gonna share that word
with us, and then we're gonna transition into the book
tour and allowing individuals to opportunity to showcase their brands
and opportunity to tap into some of the speakers that
it's going to be sharing because we want you to
be able to take your brands to the next level.

(42:04):
I truly believe in the E three experience, and that
is educate and power and encourage everyone that comes in
my presence. I want them to feel like they've left
and feel the ultimate E three experience, that they feel
a little educated, that they feel that they have been
a little empowered, and that encouraged to stay on this journey.

Speaker 2 (42:28):
So I'm truly excited.

Speaker 3 (42:29):
I'm looking forward to hopefully connecting with some more of
the group leaders and bringing it to some different areas
because when you realize what you have amongst you, like
you have to know those that labor amongst you, because
when you realize what you have amongst you and the
talent that is within this group, you know, I've had

(42:50):
a chance to really look at some of the individual's resumes.
I've had opportunity to look at some of their work,
some of the things that they're doing. Like, we have
professors that are doing some amazing things. One of our
professors out of he's a professor at Miles Miles College
Miles University, which is Miles College, which is a HBCU

(43:12):
in Alabama. Not only is he a professor.

Speaker 2 (43:16):
And he's a in.

Speaker 3 (43:18):
The English department, and he just did some amazing things
with the library there. They did an amazing poetry showcase.
But he's doing some amazing things.

Speaker 2 (43:30):
You have.

Speaker 3 (43:32):
Doctor chin Gera, she's out of the Virgin Islands. She's
also a professor. She's also over African studies. So we
have a lot that is connected right here in the group.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
We have doctor Kimberly that does a lot. Y'all. Y'all
just heard a lot of the things that she's doing.

Speaker 3 (43:57):
So I want to encourage you if you are an
author or if you are inspiring author and looking to
release a book, because we do have some individuals that
are part of our movement that just releasing books this year.

Speaker 2 (44:12):
This is their first book.

Speaker 3 (44:13):
They've been a part of anthologies, so they didn't really
consider themselves authorship, but they are releasing books this year,
so they joined the group. So we have space for
anyone that is walking into authorship. Whether you are a
co author or if you are a solo author, we

(44:35):
want to help you grow.

Speaker 2 (44:36):
We want to help you.

Speaker 3 (44:38):
Expand your brand. We truly believe in sharing resources all.
Any time somebody invite me to something, they have to
know that I can't come unless I share it with
my group. So can I invite my group? So whenever
y'all see me on the podcast, know that the invitation
has been extended to all of the one hundred authors.

(45:00):
I can't get featured in magazines and let you unless
y'all feature some of them.

Speaker 2 (45:05):
You ain't have me unless you have some of the authors.

Speaker 3 (45:09):
Like I've actually turned down opportunities because it's not about
me in this season, and I keep telling people that
it's not about me and this season it's about the
one hundred author movement, So can you can you feature
some of these authors? Because I would wretch mother you
take an opportunity to share maybe ten or fifteen of them,
you get one of me when you can get ten

(45:30):
or fifteen of them. So I'm always trying to put
these authors out there, giving them the opportunity to expand
their reach, expand their brand, and tap into some of
these resources because there's a lot out there, and if
we don't know that they're out there, we can't tap

(45:50):
into them. So as we come into them, we're sharing
them and we're trying to help you guys go to
the next level. So with that being said, I definitely
want people to be able to connect with you, be
able to follow you, be able to support the things
that you do. Because outside of being a ministry leader,

(46:14):
being a author.

Speaker 2 (46:19):
She's also a business owner several businesses, so I would say.

Speaker 3 (46:27):
A serial entrepreneur she is. So if you could briefly
share with us, run through your businesses, and then I
want to know how they can connect with you and
support some of the things that you're doing.

Speaker 4 (46:47):
Amen, Okay. I am the owner and operator of Destney
Blin Boutique. I am an independent paparazzi consultant. So with
Destney Bling Boutique, we offer affordable accessories. And I am
also the owner and operator of Divine Financial Literacy Group.

(47:11):
I am a licensed insurance professional. Professional financial strategists work
towards helping our community. We want to be able to
empower our community to be able to have their finances
in order. We offer free professional financial needs analysis. Generally,

(47:39):
these services would cost anywhere from a baseline of twenty
five hundred dollars in up and we offer those free.
We want to empower our community and make sure that
our community is well rounded, they are informed and they
are educated. So we bring financial literacy to you. And

(48:02):
I am also the partner in Bling Bling Auto Detail
and more. We have a mobile detail business here in
the Great City of Tallahassee. I partner with my husband
in that business. So we are grateful for the things

(48:24):
that God has done. We have many, many different things.
I am a travel advisor, so as Angela said, I
guess you can say I am a serial entrepreneur, but
I thank God for the grace that he has given
unto me because it is not about me. It is
about impacting our community. It is about getting the information

(48:46):
and the resources to our community to allow our community
to know that these things are attainable. You can obtain
these things. There are so many things that you can
do to help your family, to help yourself, to create
generational wealth and set your family in a position to

(49:08):
where you're not leaving them a bill, but you're leaving
them a will so that they have legacy to follow.
And that is our ultimate goal, is to make sure
that we're creating legacy for our for our next generation.
And we want to also empower our community to be

(49:29):
able to do the same. So therefore, we are offering
lots of free services. We offer many things that will
impact the community, and we give these services away for free.
We do a lot of dinner and dialogue, lunch and
learns that We want to be able to help empower

(49:50):
and educate our community so that we know that there
are resources out there. Resources are available, there is help
that is available, and everything does not have a price tag.
So I want to just thank you Angela for allowing
me to share that information and anyone that needs to

(50:12):
or would like to reach out to me. I am
accessible at eight five zero three two two three six
seven five. That is a phone and text line, So
if you call and you do not get an answer,
you can leave a message or send a text message.
We do retrieve messages and texts from that particular line.

(50:37):
And my email address is Daughter of Destiny WVP at
gmail dot com. And I'm always looking forward to opportunities
to share and impact our community.

Speaker 3 (50:53):
Well, we're definitely looking forward to working with you and
seeing what got as in store for the one hundred
author movement when it when it comes down to your
group in your area. So I'm excited about that, looking
forward to working with you in the near future. So

(51:15):
before we close, look like there's some technical issues. Maybe
she would come back on, but look like it's keeped
her out. I see it's been knocking her out and
bringing her back in but we have her back. One
thing I want to before we close it is International
Women's History Month. I want to know what does that

(51:36):
mean to you and what would you like for your legacy.

Speaker 2 (51:42):
To look like?

Speaker 1 (51:44):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (51:46):
Women's History Month for me is an opportunity for us
to ask women to realize that there is no such
thing as a glass ceiling. We've been told many, many
times that you know, there's this glass ceiling, but we
don't have to work within those bounds because beyond the

(52:06):
sky's the limit to whatever we desire to have. And
so I'm grateful for that opportunity. My thing is I
always want to leave as a legacy for those that
are coming behind me. I want to make an impact
and not an impression. Everywhere I go I want to

(52:27):
be impactful. I don't want to make an impression. I
want to impact, empower and motivate others to be able
to fulfill their potential, to reach their goals and to
be all that God has predestined ordained for them to be.

Speaker 2 (52:47):
Amen.

Speaker 3 (52:48):
Amen, So if you would before we close, always leave
that word of inspiration for that person that may be
going through or need that extra push to keep them going.

Speaker 4 (53:03):
Amen. Well, as you sit today and you journey through
your life. Many of us are facing some hard times.
Many of us are in places that we never would
have dreamed of or even thought that we would find ourselves.
But I want to encourage you today that there is hope.
There is a light at the end of whatever you

(53:25):
are going through, if you continue to look to the
heels from which cometh your help. Know that all of
your help comes from the Lord. You can lean on him,
you can depend on him, and most of all, you
can trust him. Trust him with everything that you have.
Don't lean to your own understanding, but acknowledge Him in
all of your ways, and He shall direct your path.

(53:48):
Go forth and be all that God has for.

Speaker 2 (53:50):
You to do. Amen. Amen.

Speaker 3 (53:53):
I want to thank you for joining us on today.
I have truly been blessed by your presence. I hope
that you have a great rest of your evening. It
has truly truly been a blessed time here in the
studio with you. Thank you for stopping by, and I
want to thank everyone that is tuned in on today.
Thank you for stopping by. If you have been blessed

(54:13):
by anything that was shared on today, I would encourage
you to share this in your circle of influence because
you never know what the next person may be in
need of. Until next time, y'all be blessed and know
that the Queen loves you.

Speaker 2 (54:29):
Y'all have a great day. Amen.
