Then Christmas, I actually, you know, did something that is
like unheard of, and I actually went to the doctor
like no, well care my PCP that he was like,
hey you you go ahead, like.

Throw my insurance car. But nice to meet you.

My first time.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
The last time I went to the doctor is when
I had a baby year two years ago. Yeah, I
don't go to the doctor, but I was.

I had too much for that, so I finally went
got me some medicine.

Okay, and hopefully I'm better about Christmas feeling all right,
a little bit better. I'm making it my voice already.

Yeah, somebody, Oh I noticed what I said. She found

No, and Rainbow out of all places. That was so random, right,
But I don't know why we're here. We hit a
wrap up this season.

Well, we have reached the end of the road that
Survivor forty seven and oh, I can't tell you how
excited I am to wrap this thing up.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
Okay, ready for a wrapping man.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
We could have went live about three hours ago. Yeah,
even before even before Rachel won the competition. Listen broke.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
It was a wrap.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
We pretty much, I mean you would think because at first,
I know, we kind of jumping ahead. But like at
one point we were in a group that like, hold on,
this may not be a sweet like we think it.

Speaker 6 (03:07):
It's gonna because Sam is giving us some question.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
You know, I know.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Literally it was fun. It was a fun final tribal
council night just seeing people. Normally people are either over
I don't know, they were just going at it had
to head and it was truly had to head to
love you. You were sitting there, and yeah, it was
an It was a fun episode, even though it was
an expected outcome that we've been expecting.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Since about two weeks.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
Ago, editing for those of us who likes spoilers, we've
been expecting for a long time.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
And I'm talking to you, Rome, but we're gonna get
on that.

So with that like in mind too, it's like I
would get editing their props because.

Y'all got us, y'all, you're not gonna lie.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Y'all had us in the first half because I genuinely
thought that this was gonna be. We thought it was
gonna get a switch up, and we did not get
a switch up. It indeed happened the exact same way
we thought it was going to. But y'all Goddess had
made us believe otherwise, because a lot of people on
Twitter was like, oh my gosh, it's about to be
a four four three vote or whatever else, like, we

don't know, it could have been, it could have been.
It will sounded like it was going to be.

Speaker 5 (04:23):
Yeah, I was when I was whenever before they got
travel counts, you know, they knew that. Everyone's pre little
pre pre finale interview, all the dry members of that
wait a minute, the luck he got some some hardcore
friends and they was riding with in this game on
the jury. Mm hmmm. I was like, wait a minute now,
because sometimes people do vote for just vote for the
people that was rocking with us. So like Sam, have Sierra,

he could have Andy?

Yeah your tile? Yeah yeah.

I was like, wait a minute. I was like put
And then we're thinking it's gonna be even.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Teeny called himself talking about oh Sam gang was better
than what we thought Kenny.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Had known us to talk about. Everyone had like a
right or dye person, and as we saw the whole game,
all of them were with the jury with Teeny so
or they had to talk about someone. Yeah, ten, you
had to talk about someone. So they said, ah, we'll
pick Sam. We need to make this extra extra scary

or extra questionable.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
So get us catch us up. So start us out
from the beginning. We didn't jump all over head. Catch
us up from the beginning, please shoot.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
So starting off, we of course see the final four
each have a little confessional, each talking about oh man
made it this far. Teeny, after getting rid of Genevieve,
says that they're on the hot of their whole life.
This is the best moment in my twenty three years,
the fact that I got Genevieve val you ain't vote

(05:50):
Genevie v out an explanation on Twitter, So you good,
you still ain't vote En Damn and yeah, Sue talking
about getting a text from I think her daughter where
it's pretty much laying the groundwork for all of them
and all of their aspirations how far they've made it,

(06:13):
where Sue's daughter was saying, oh, even if you get
voted out first, we're still proud. Yeah, congrasser Rachel, Yeah,
im covering all that and immediately jumped into the challenge. Okay,
do you want to go over the challenge? Surprise at
the obstacle course?

Speaker 5 (06:33):
Oh gosh, you know, yeah. This season was very reliant
on the obstacle course because normally the last challenge is
something different. I'm usually like that one that we got
the handtof behind my back. The Yeah, I was looking
forward to that being a challenge. It's like like something
you really got to work for. And granted, this is
probably the most elaborate obstacle course they had because they

(06:53):
combine all the basic elements. They got to crawl through
the mud again, Sue's favorite going on, unwind the rope,
untied rope, unhooked, open the gate, him out a locket,
climb up a ladder, and do a new if it's
a bat posle, seeming unique. It's a different type of
puzzle than we've used to have been seeing.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
Just snitching during this during this challenge.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
Because because Rachel had left her phrase open, he said, oh,
Rachel leaves her phrase for everybody to see or something
like that. And then she go back and she said, well,
I said, oh, he said, it's easy. This is the
finale you're.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Gonna have to work for. I was like, look at
you snitching. Jeff was just like me and I don't know, it's.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
Just me, but I seem like everyone kind of missed
that cool with that little thing is what you have
to do right now? You like everyone missed it until
like Jeff kept pointing it out, and that's what finally
made Sam, who was low key behind even and Sue
was beating him. They beat him on the to open
the bridge. I'm like, not Sam being the last place,
but then he locked in and unlocked.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
That unlocked immediately like got to that table said it's unlocked.
The got that early lead.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
Almost kind of like how that won from last season
where nobody could do the Maria when she lost and
nobody could figure it out until.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
It was they did get all the letters. But no,
it wasn't that long. I mean people were staring at
the puzzle for a while, but it wasn't like an
eternity to you.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
I think it was true because I think the tiles
were double sided, so each each side of a different
lead on it.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Okay, mm hmm.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
But of course the great equalizer, the puzzle comes in,
and the past ten minutes of diving through the mud
pushing the stick to free some real did not matter.
And that's my main grape with all the obstacle courses.
I love that the puzzle is a great equalizer, but
that ultimately means not that the puzzle is all that matters.

(09:03):
But it feels to me like it's, hey, puzzle expert,
that's all that matters to be.

Speaker 5 (09:10):
Like a full est foot race from like just go
through an obstacle course, or like how it used to
be where like they have this big elaborate set of
where they got to go in each each gotta go
across like the little bridge or whatever. Monkey bars to
get their puzzle pieces then come back or.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
I was a big fan of that one with individual
challenges and yeah, and I don't hate the fact that
it's not physical to end it. I do like a puzzle,
but you run its course. It's run its course. Where
this is the eighth ninth episode where we've had something
similar with the puzzle right at the end. Even if

(09:46):
they did a little pulley thing, I know that they
they did do that at some point, but even I
don't know, some type of dexterity instead of oh, here's
a bat puzzle that puzzle school though which.

Speaker 5 (09:59):
You think the final four should be like an endurance
type of challenge to like.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
Shoot, I kind of like, I kind of like that shoot.
I like, how bad do you want it? How bad
are you gonna fight? To wanted? Instead of oh, you're
stuck on the puzzles, Sam got stuck at one piece
and it's just over.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
I a would say, I want to know how bad
you want to feed them a little bit, giving them
some sandwiches and some water to give everybody they strength back.
I want to see everybody compete at their full strength,
because everybody deteriorates body deteriorates at different paces, so they
witarily wouldn't be competing at the same level for how bad.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
That's what That's where Survivor's cool though, because hey, survivors,
the elements matter.

Speaker 5 (10:41):
You know what.

I would love to see exactly that right before the finale,
feed them, let them get all nice and full, and
midway while they eating.

I just wanted to look like more fun. That would
be fun. They'd be like, wait a minute, oh lord,

belt and all of a sudden, I gotta go balance
all these bowls and.

Stuff exactly exactly.

Look, well you gotta walk across the balance being drunk,
like because we know teeny drunk.

Yeah, you got the bottles then.

Speaker 5 (11:24):
I don't know if you if you saw it. But
at the very end, they for some reason, they showed
a shot of TD and he poured up some more
for champs. I said, I did not being the allegations.

Speaker 6 (11:36):
Never miss brown sugar, but yeah, that's hilarious to me.

That would be funny.

Trees we always come up with, like the weirdest wildest
steak scenarios that they can do.

Give them some fries, give them a soul food buffet,
give them some mac and cheese, give them some pork chops.

Listen, if make a hang up on that pole for
them at the end. I bet you all the black
people make it to the n E. I bet you
they'd be fighting to get to it.

gives her the ability to choose who's coming winning and
who gonna make five?

won four immunity Challenges in one single season.

the woman to win with the most individual season wins
in one season because Kim one and they both got

she won and Rachel would have won it, she would

Wow, anywrazy, same thing that happened with Chelsea.

I was so confused when Sam said, oh you let
you let me make fire, got upset at that You're
talking snack arrogant.

Because he's making a joke. All you can do is joke.
I'm out here on this island. I gotta fight for
my life. I might as well make a joke about
it exactly.

Therapy.

Think ten did. I have to give Teenie so much
props because I think they self reflected themselves so well
during tribal where I think that took a lot, Like
of course we've talked about this where there's seems to
be some trouble, we said this on a few podcasts.
But for Teenie to acknowledge this like she's been listening

to a bunch of people in the audience, I was like, Wow,
teeny knows themselves and it's continuing to discover themselves and
I don't know, I have to give Teeny so much props.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
I'm gonna get a prop to it too, because that
stuff when when they said that I was projecting my
insecurities onto Sam.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Pulling it one sided, and I'm like, when you know
that it's one sided?

Speaker 4 (16:39):
She really she had a therapeutic like vacation like on
the cool like, yeah, everybody need therapies.

You need the therapy outside the show.

But she really had a lot of self reflection, like
this show might have been the best thing for us.

And it's easy to do that when you ain't got
no game toy.

You got Sued checking the list and checking it twice
and making sure that her fire is catching nice.

And then you have.

He literally admitted to the world because he told them
he was like, yeah, y'all, I ain't never made fire before,
and they were like, oh, he playing he comes to
this confessional. Yeah, I already know what y'all gonna say.
It's day twenty five and I ain't made no fire.

I know it one time, boy, I know you see,
I thought it was.

Speaker 5 (18:05):
I thought it was I thought he was lying to
it too, I said, Ben confession. He was canny for
that A load. He deserved to lose the whole game,
like all the entire season. You do it on the load.
You still you go off in the forest by yourself.
You don't practice at all. You wait till day twenty five.

Don know WoT to build a fire? A fine exactly,
I'm fine.

And it took reading the letter from his daddy, which
was cool.

Shout out to Dad, Shout out to Pops for giving
him the encouragement and the motivation he needed to not
give up on trying to make the fire because he
was he was making no fire.

And Rachel went over there to spy on him and
see how he was doing.

She said, hey, it's Suan she did.

She said, I could beat him and Fire, but Rachel
taking me, so I ain't gonna mess it up.

This point, I know it ain't matter. But are y'all
surprised that you didn't even try after seeing Sam?

Because hey see, I think it was a fire girl.
She got a check, she came to collect the check.
I believe Sue knew that she was not going to
win this game. I think Sue was just happy to
be in the final three, knowing a check was coming
her way and.

She didn't have to fight for him more than she
had to, and did it.

She said three mumbling words the whole and wrapped up
a cool eighty k You can't beat that.

I ain't mad at her because if for some reason
the chists fall ward, I didn't play in the present game,
this is gonna make it to the end. Speak when

Exactly, especially Miss brown Sugar said, especially figuring out while
still on the island versus months and years later.

Speaker 6 (19:49):
Kudos to grow, absolutely, kudos to.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Grow that level. And I'm glad Eli brought that up.

That level of introspection and then reflection and to be
able to articulate that in the twenty six days that
that's it's impressive, very impressant. So but yeah, while they
figured it out, so Sam does eventually catch on some
fire while he practicing, right, and we're like, okay, And
I said this from the account.

Speaker 1 (20:14):
I said, watch it.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
Watch him come up here and make a fire and
his spire gonna put teenies.

Speaker 5 (20:19):
The shame.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
It was not looking at it was not looking that way.

I don't know if he'll say the shame. Yeah, Loki like, okay,
let's call even get to it. Let us if we
get to tribal. Rachel said, I ain't gotta prove nothing.
I ain't gonna be like everyone else to give them
my community necklace. I said, the game I played is
worthy enough of winning. I be stupid. Why am I
I built like a five layered tied cheesecake marble with

all the fine icing and stuff. Why why am I
gonna go pick some more strawberries putting on top? This
is all the perfection right here. I ain't gotta do
nothing else.

So I was like, as you should have stayed on business.
Your game was worth it. And she said yeah, it's straightforward.
Sue stood by my side with no one else did,
and so I said, I'm business, I'm bringing her tony
in and she should period.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
I believe loyalty like Sue's, which is nearly unfounded in
games like this, it should be rewarded with the final finale.

Speaker 5 (21:16):
C Yeah, like I shouldn't you know? You can beat her.

Speaker 3 (21:22):

Sue then played some game and she the mastermind and
manipulated and puppet Sue. I love you, baby, and I
appreciate your lord too, but I will not take a
chance and take you to the end. Teeny, come on down, sister.

Speaker 5 (21:34):
And I feel like klok. Teeny kind of screwed herself
out of that spot. But I think if she hadn't fully,
she hadn't flipped on Rachel and told the other people
about her thing, that could have been tea that got
brought true.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
Think Rachel was hurried about that when she yeah yeah.

Speaker 5 (21:53):
So yeah. So she stands with two of them in
and then it's Teeny versus Sam. Teen start getting some
sparks and then she gets a little fire and so okay,
and what first looked like to be a runaway because
she gets tarted, getting the fire up and he putting
a little sticks on and said, okay, okay, it's kind
of like spreading wide, but it's not really getting up
that high. It's not it's kind of right in the middle,

but it's not going right in the middle, kind of
sending over here on the right, on the left side
of the road. Him, that's what the fire was doing
up on the road.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
Oh my, you should have said that in the chat.
I would have tweeted that. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (22:31):
And then Sam looked like he hope that all of
a sudden he get a spark and he actually nurtures it.

Speaker 3 (22:36):
I was like, okay, and this was saying for like
the longest Sam, fire was like I'm coming, I'm coming.

Speaker 5 (22:46):
I was like, it came.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
Hey, I kind of respect Sam's fired because teens was
so well structured. To me, it seemed like Sam was desperation.
I'm just putting all my fast burning stuff on top
of it. I got like seven six out of here,
but I'm just second up my fast burning stuff.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
And blow blow.

Speaker 1 (23:09):
Shout out to the wind.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
I said, Sam channel hiss in the storm because the
wind got to blow on y'all.

Speaker 5 (23:19):
The way, and that his toward I was like TV
told the wrong spot.

The wrong spot man, Jenevieve's missed.

Right, she got the right.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
I'm cracking up that you said Genevie's missed because hold on.

There was a tweet. Oh my god, how I hope

Speaker 5 (23:38):
That one saying Jennifer using her mind power, I could
bring in the wind.

Speaker 1 (23:43):
It was the one about her wand oh my god,
where why do you find it? I do think it's curious.
I don't know if I'm teeny, I don't care. I'm
getting burned, I'm standing up, I'm trying to block the
wind in everything. Because something I think the most traumatizing
party if I was teeny is they did everything right.
I can't think of a thing Temy did wrong with

(24:04):
the fire, really, John Josh might be thinking of something else,
but built a big fire for a long time, and
it didn't burn the rope.

Speaker 5 (24:13):
I feel I was like, like what Sam did was
he had built a structure to like kind of stand
upward where his team was just kind of throwing sticks on,
which like when you get your fire going, that's fine,
but it doesn't really control like the direction. It kind
of like like teams for a while was kind of
spreading this way with the little glimpses of it going
up and when his when his head his little like

(24:36):
little heshings as they call it, we're going and he
tried to put the sticks up. He's put the sticks up,
and it was like leaning in like a t p.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
But I just it was at one point her fire
was like an inferno, like like just like it's an
infernto and we've seen other people's fire just like hers,
and they snapped the rope like that.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
But so your team, he could have got burnt trying to.

Speaker 5 (25:00):
I think she send herself a few times trying to
put them off sticks in there to keep them.

Speaker 6 (25:04):
I can't do fire making, baby, because I would be.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
Burnt, okay, Sam Mike blooms Teenie's rope glimmers with embers
about to break. Suddenly, the flames begin to move away
from her, and she cries out no from the jury bench.
Genevieve pockets her wand her gust of winds fell complete
for the last time. She has fun teeny shout of

Mike Bloom bloom, Oh my goodness, that was funny because
it literally the wind that's Jeff and the wind is
blowing Teenie's fire away from the rope.

Speaker 6 (25:37):
What is she going to do find out next time?

Like you better get it together, says, or you will
