Oh, I definitely loved the episodes where Colin Camilla would say, hey,
is it time for us to make a move and
then they end up not making the move. But oh man,
that only happened. Shoot do we have that happen more
than obstacle courses?

I don't know. But okay, so we all know how
Kyle would We ain't got a you know, pray surround it.

So my thing is we say it was boring right
because there was no like shifting power even Joe kept
they kept stringing everybody they voted out, but.

Then Kyle still wins.

And we also realized from the jury that Camilla would
have won. So is it really a flop season if
the people we were rooted for was gonna win.

They saw they said Camilla was gonna win.

They all said they put her hands down. What why
are you thinking that out?

how boring this season has pretty much been, besides those
last couple of points in the game when after they left, right,
But was it really that bad in the flop of
a season if the people we were rooting for heavy
from the jump one or had the opportunity to win.

I think there's two opinions on this one. That it's
an editor's fault that oh they could have they I mean,
they've been trying to craft this narrative. But I truly
feel like it was a boring season because those shifting
powers are what makes the game fun. Like looking back

two years from now, what are we gonna remember about
this season?

Saying are we gonna remember any moments?

I guess like, we'll definitely remember them, But what moment
will we be like, Oh, they lied about a idol,
I guess that is pretty cool. They had an undercover relationship, that,
of course is great, But what moments stand out.

I don't really know.

In terms of moments, maybe like like I said, the
Chrissy moment, maybe we think about that, but I don't
know if that was even big enough to you know,
be like, oh, we're gonna remember that, I mean anything
would say like I mean saying just in and of
herself for the first Hadian rocks, like of the first
few weeks was just like Chef's Kids hurt few with
Mary that oh Cedric in his boats.

have to split this season and half. Yeah, pretty much.
When Say was on this show and when Say was
not in the show.

Remerged this show, I had to say it was approaching
the top ten early top five conversation, like, oh my gosh,
it's so chaotic, people don't like each other and all
to get to the end where this shoot, this is
forty five levels of Kumbai our cast and shout out

to that. I mean, no hate against Seth Shoe. Everyone
made friends, but this.

Was so togetherness. This was beyond you said seen the
forty five.

This is no I've on even put season forty five
in that because at least for them, all of them
was playing the game right like they are not just oh,
I'm gonna roll over. This is my best friend. I
want my best friend to win the game. Like no,
Season forty five, all of them were playing the game,
all of them, even though they were close.

The Riva five.

Look, we're gonna all live with that Riva five. The
Riva five was they was like this, but they were
all in it to win it. This season, you have
people at final tribal council, y'all, Oh, well, if they win,
it's okay, if they get more votes than me, or

Thank God for Christy. I wish she could have stayed longer.
I didn't realize the icon that she was until it
was too late because.

Impactful thing, Like you know what, maybe inflation has since
survivor and a million dollars is not big money because
to me, that's still big money. But it is big
money the way this season was play though I don't
I don't know of millions big money.

They was just like, well if I don't get it,
I just don't get it.

But get in there. Y'all know we started with the
little final five and we ain't gonna go through all

So still considered it a flop even though we kind
of got the ending that we were kind of hoping for.

Speaker 4 (07:26):
Or I don't want to call it a flop. I'm
gonna call it a trip.

You know what I'm saying. You didn't necessarily flyop, but
you tripped up a little bit.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
It's it's it's Christ's bittersweet because I like, after a
certain point, I wanted Kylin's the one I wanted to win.
So I'm glad he wanted to win. But then he
did all that funky stuff that I'm gon ran about
in a minute, and so he kissed me off. So
now I can't really be as happy as I want
to be, but I am excited that Kyle won. He

played a I feel like an overall great game. Will
I ever go back and watch the season again? Never,
That's how I'm feeling. You know what, out of one
to ten, I'm gonna automatically go ahead and give the
season a solid five point three.

Speaker 5 (08:18):
I'm about to say shot, this season might be better
as a binge in terms of, hey, yeah, quickly get
to the next week. Be like this week, so they
take a shot. Oh it's not let me watch the
next episode. Surely they're gonna take a shot this next episode. Oh,
they did it, and then all the way to the end.

And like you when you were out trees, Eli brought
up a really great point, like this season, you honestly
have to look at it as two different games, because
that pre merged was excellent. It was an excellent pre merge,
like it had us on the y'all. We literally talked
about this.

If you're watching and you haven't watched our coverage, go
back to the beginning of the season. For those first
like four, four or five episode we were living on
the edge of our seat every single week because we
did not know what was gonna happen.

We had no.

Clue and it was a lot of people that were
just kind of like checked out. In the beginning.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
I thought the beginning of the season was great. I
was like, oh, it's a little messy.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
You know, we got a little you know, it's a
little funny.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
Got people actually playing the game. So I don't know,
I enjoyed it in the beginning part. The last part
definitely kind of went there for me.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
But it's a season.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Yeah, so we gonna see, We're gonna see how it,
you know, it all shake out in the end with
you know, because different seasons come out, we be like, oh,
we thought this was the worst season, because you know,
we all thought forty three was bad, right, everybody was
like forty three the trash, for get four to three,
for get forty three. And I wonder how, you know,
with forty nine coming out later and then fifty how

that's going to impact how it ages power of ages,
because again, sometimes we get these brilliant seasons and then
the winner.

We're like, but this season was kind of like yay,
but the winner.

So I wonder how that's going to shoot.

Should should we get to the first half of the
first part of this episode that was spoiled apparently from previews.

And I wonder if that, in turn got fired. I
know they did do a preview and it showed Camilla
with the community necklace already around her next so we
knew she was in final four. And it also showed
Mitch walking in with the jury, so way to spoil that.

So once again, their whole first hour could have been
an email.

Hey, hey, but y'all we they had an obstacle course
with a fire puzzle at the end, and I just
thought that was inventive.

I haven't seen anything like that before from this ingenuity.

I mean, it's just out of this world, right.

It's just who thought of that. Who thought of an
obstacle course with a puzzle at the.

Basic fire puzzle at that?

Speaker 5 (11:39):
Sure, I'll how basic it was, because Kyle was sending
there his hands on hips, just what's it happening?

Speaker 2 (11:48):
I just I was a little annoyed with the fact
that it was a basic And Josh, I know you're
gonna want to chime in, especially for this, but I
think I was annoyed that it was a basic fire
puzzle given the fact that back in season forty six,
yes forty six or no.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Forty seven, when it would well, no forty six.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
Yes forty six, they had to do that puzzle and
then you have to pay attention to those numbers, and
those numbers meant something when they got up to the thing,
and it didn't really mean anything this time around, And
so I was like, why y'all made it? It was
a fun complication to this already basic puzzle that made
it more interesting than then y'all just went back to boring,
So let's make it boring game. Sure thoughts that's us.

Well, I just couldn't when I thought things couldn't get
more underwhelming. Mm hmm under iye was whelmed.

Okay, but can we find the cat the producer who's
giving her all these clues and these advantages and these
everything get like, can we find it and get rid
of them?

Because how is it? Josh? He's our resident surviving historian?
Has there ever been someone to get so many advantages
and reward meals in one season?

Speaker 3 (13:42):
I gotta have a record. She has to have, like
the top record.

No, she is by far have the softest survivor journey
of anyone who made.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
The girl was playing Big Brother.

A couple of days. She was on slop for a
few day camping. That's what she did.

Is this what they wanted to him come back to
or not come back whatever wherever they were outside Frankie World?

She I have never seen someone be more comfortable in
the merged phase of the game.

Had the nerve to say she was hungry.

Speaker 4 (14:18):
Girl popped in the forehead, real quick, back of your teeth.

But also my issue too is the other we I
can't wait to get because I need to hear from y'all,
these other contestants, because y'all kept talking about, Oh, we
know who's the most hungry. She's been talking how hungry
she is. I know, Eva, Eva, y'all know that girl
ain't hungry. She'd have been on every ward but one.
It feels like, and how was she the one that's hungry?
How is she the one that's deserving of a war?

And you really have people like others Kyle, I ain't
seen Kyle going I mean he went on one last week,
but before then he ain't been on one. Other people
were hungry and starving throughout this season, but yet it
was when they get picked after pick after pick after pick.

She got chosen time after time too. She got choate,
And hey, that that's a social game right there. That's
social that's two vote finalists. That's a social game finalist
with a social pity. That was very much that's pretty

Like where y'all really trying to build a bridge, a
social bridge and like keep her closed or were you
doing it for the optice because you don't want to
feel like y'all were outcasting her or making her feel

seven straight episodes, don't.

Lord Jesus and I like considering taking Mary right, she
was hungry.

the reward Joe, you might have earned her jury vote
just conuted into her kindness.

So it's just so many things this season. There's so
many things to just pick apart, but like her getting
all these big advantages and then being just laughing about
like it's so cute, Like the arrogance and entitlement that
she had this entire season, like she didn't have to
work for anything, Like Josh said, she had a soft
Survivor season. I ain't never seen nobody play. I want
to play like that. If I get on, I want

every meal too. That's why I would love it.

Mitch still has a story, and if Mitch hitself's final
three chairs, he'll be a scary guy.

The only reason why they were nervous of getting next
to Mitch is because of his story, and I think
they weren't scared.

well they were a good final three person. And I'm
curious if it's an under editing thing where he was
dropped up as a as a social butterfly and anything.

I think still give them too much credit, yes, because
even though confessionals, I was like, why is we still.

Hey, hey, he taught started how to swim or whatever?
That was twenty episodes ago and.

Then did he vote out the same episode, which he
shouldn't have done mixiculdn't now he would have Now that's
a story right there.

He was a swing vote in some a couple of
them things. Now, that's what you got to do.

He could have turned the tie in his favor and
he really could have been a contender to win on
top of his story.

And if he would have did those moves, we would
have been like, okay, man tweet, we see you all right.
But he didn't.

So he made a move this season.

Just making a move is enough to win.

And the only eight the move he made was from
the game to those jury seats. That's the only move
he made.

I honestly feel like they've been saying that all season though,
because there's in so many confessionals, in conversations that they've
had that have been them saying, we want one of.
