Speaker 1 (00:09):
Welcome to b bfits tell stories, Let me get comfortable
and enjoyed the journey. Last episode, we would remember Zie
meeting for the first time Ryan, the Baryton laundry guy
(00:30):
at her workplace, only when she thought that she would
finally have a quiet year from studying or having complicated relationships.
And by the way she was once again not looking
nor searching, she would certainly be found by once more
another stranger. All right, come on, let's have a little
(00:56):
bit of hope and faith here. Okay, okay. What had
happened before that, and before before that and before before.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
Oh okay, okay, I think we get it. Rewind So
what had happened previously in the past was an old story,
and as of now we were onto the next chapter.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Okay, mm hmmm.
Speaker 2 (01:31):
Rezi was not gonna let gianno nor death, nor Keys,
nor Johnny, nor Joe, nor matter of fact, nobody didn't
have her loose hope on love. So Ryan or.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
Whatever is your name, the floor is yours.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Your word is a length from my feet, a light
on my path Psalms, chapter one, nineteen, verse one oh five.
Now that Ryan had initiated the first contact with Riezy,
(02:22):
it seemed now as if he was always the one
assigned to deliver the laundry on Rhese's department. Was it
a coincidence or had he organized it all to be
as such? Now interesting Ryan would now come in the
morning and later in the afternoon with his n keen,
(02:42):
cold voice and filled the air and Reese's mind with
God knows what he was talking about. All that Reezy
heard was ufgetable. Uisy okay, oh okay, we will move on.
(03:13):
He had become the man deliverer of their department. Chi chiy,
get it together. He was no deliverer. Okay in Christ,
we have deliverance. You feel me? Shoot all right, Not
to worry, we will get it together. So Ryan had
(03:39):
become the main laundry delivery guy of the department. As
a result, it allowed them to have more opportunities to
talk to each other, to get to know one another,
and slowly over time, to exchange numbers and plan their
first outings. What you have to know is that Ryan
(04:01):
was a couple of years older than Risy and boy Boy.
You could tell this man was seasoned beyond the salt
with all types of peppers, black white, chili, cane, peppercorn,
you name it. He had definitely some garlic, ginger, turmeric,
cumin clothes in hand, but a touch of jerk and
(04:23):
creole in his soul. Mm hmmm. Riezy was saying nothing
but fire. For their first outing. Ryan suggested that they
could go not too far from their workplace on their
day off in the morning at the mountain and hiker
little while talking some more, which Reasy thought was a
(04:47):
brilliant idea. So here they were. Tell me how and
when this man succeeded to lock his hands into RISI's
oh m. At this point it seemed as if she
was bewitched. Oh no, oh, I beg canceled. Uh not
(05:08):
be witched. Will say she was simply impressed. Sure, yep,
sounds better he had gain. Ryan was twenty six, twenty
seven years old, and Reasy barely twenty one.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
She was grown now but still had some gullibility to her.
Ryan had asked Riasy preferably not to call him, but
let him initiate the calls, because, being a pastor's son
and pastor himself from time to time, his cell phone
was connected to the church and he didn't want for
anyone in the congregation to pick up and be confused. Also,
(05:51):
he preferred staying in his car while watching the view
from the city or hiking at the mountain, but wasn't
comfortable with the idea of being in public spaces. So
Riezy thought it was different, but didn't think much of it.
After all, some people do get anxious or uncomfortable in
public spaces, right right AnyWho, So for many months that's
(06:20):
what they did. Go at the mountain, stay in the car,
hike a little talk, and go home. The only thing
is that Ryan was really touchy and was always trying
to kiss or be close to Raasy, but she kept
reminding him to slow down. One day, Ryan called Raezy
(06:42):
at work, but this time around she was unable to
get to the phone right away, and they started to
call him back. She knew that he had said not
to call him because of his phone situation, but she thought,
in her mind, come on, it's been less than five minutes.
He should normally be close to his phone and pick up,
so she called. After three ring tones, a lady picked
(07:06):
up and with an authoritative tone, a voice said hello,
RISI completely distruct hearing the female voice and thinking in
her mind, oh, my gosh, must be a church member
or maybe even his pastored mom. Trying to get herself together,
managed to say, yeah, may I speak to Ryan please?
(07:30):
The authoritative lady asked, with an edge in her tone
because asking oh wow, Rasie hold on. As she went
looking for Ryan, Rhese's heart was pounding. She was starting
to drip on her forehead and sweat in her arm pits. Yo,
(07:51):
this was stressful. I'm not gonna lie. After what seemed
like an eternity, she heard the barytone voice, I'm saying hello,
but with somewhat of a surprise or panic or a
shock in his voice. It was hard to tell. Ryan
seemed frightened, like really quickly. He asked Reezie if she
(08:14):
was okay and a bit confused. She told him that
she was simply returning his call, and without saying much more,
he told her that he called her back later. Reezie
was already so uncomfortable with the whole situation that she
actually was more than happy to hang up. Later on,
when they spoke again, Ryan apologized to Riezy about his
(08:36):
mother and said that she was just surprised off the
phone call. After that episode, Reezie told herself that she
would never try to call him again and preferred waiting
for him to call.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Hi.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
Am my love lies. Hope I find you well and
that you've enjoyed this episode of Beefits Tell Stories Mamma's
voice Siri keeping her in the Dark Part two.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
If you found some.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
Value out of to this episode, I believe that she
would also like the previous and next episode, So stay tuned,
my people. It is true that the heart likes what
and who it likes, and that age is just a
number when both parties are adults, but most importantly somewhat leveled.
(09:44):
When one is twenty number but truly is seventeen at heart,
and the other is twenty seventy number but forty at heart,
there is a great precipice and discrepancy that can occur
between the both. The older one might be more emotionally
intelligent that the younger one, which is not necessarily a
bad thing, but it is important to make sure that
(10:06):
both are on the same emotional maturity level. There is
an African proverb who goes like this, what an old
man sees from the ground, a boy cannot see even
if he stands on top of a mountain. On that
note until next time, I wish you a peace for life.
(10:30):
Stay blessed by friends,
