Welcome to b bufits, tell stories, let me get comfortable
and enjoyed the journey. Years had passed and the Mammals
boy drama had subsided and became not only a memory

but also a learning and growth experience for Resi. Following
that saga, Resy, after having an intimate conversation with God,
came to the conclusion that it was better for her
to date intentionally if the opportunity presented itself again in
the future, and that she would no longer entertain any

situation in which she would know from the get go
not to be long term until left towards a part
that thing. Now, she had been going to church regularly
every Sunday and was even partaking in the youth choir
members' activities. Reezie was keeping busy, staying active and minding

as always her business. It's just that secretly in her heart,
Reese was not the type to stay alone and often
pray for God to help her find the other shoe
that would complete the missing pair in her life. In
other words, she prayed for a lifelong mate, best friend,

and husband. The thing is, is she really ready for it?

Speaker 2 (01:49):
When I am afraid I put my trust in you
in God, whose word I praise. In God, I trust.
I'm not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?
One Sunday morning, as Riezie had just woken up, her

(02:13):
spirit and whole being just didn't feel at peace. Resie
felt this void in her life, although she was well
surrounded and loved by her family members and few friends.
She didn't want at first admit it to herself, but
the truth is she strongly desired to be loved by
a fearing and strong man of God. After juggling for

(02:37):
some time in her mind with the realization that she
needed love and was not self sufficient. Because if you
don't know, RESI was one of those who gains independent.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
I can do it by myself, that thing, young woman.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
She really wanted to convince herself that she was a
thug in the love department, meaning she was not one
to after her heartbreak, although she would be played and
cheated on, she would pick herself up, pray, and quickly
move on. Now we're not here to judge, but that's

(03:13):
just how she dealt with pain. AnyWho, moving on. After
realizing that she wanted to meet and talk to a
nice man of God, Reasy decided right there and then
to pray for She knew that she could have lied
to herself, but to her creator, her father in heaven,

(03:37):
it was impossible, for he knew her heart desire even
before it could have come out of her lips. So,
without bidding around the bush and praying for too long,
Reasy address this prayer to God, Father, God, this morning,
I will prepare myself to go and meet with you

(03:58):
and be in your presence at church. And if if
you are real, if you are this one and only
God for whom it is written that she never change,
I pray and ask you today to show me and
allow me to meet this God faring man today, make

(04:22):
it that I meet this.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Wholesome man in Jesus name. I pray Amen. Now.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
After saying these words, she trusted them, but not fully
believe that God would make it happen, because listen, we
pray all the time for this, that and the third,
and not everything we ask for comes to fruition.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Right.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
She was used to go into church every Sunday with
her mom and sister. That this very Sunday she didn't
care checking to see if they were also getting ready
to go. All there was to be known was that
they should all be out of the house for ten
thirty in order to make it on time for the
praise and worship moment. Once she was ready and dressed

(05:15):
to impress God. Yeah, she went to the living room
to meet her mother, far from getting ready to go
to church, and her sister stating feeling unwell. What does
this mean that she had to go alone to church? Oh,
that was a bit intimidating because she had never went alone.

(05:40):
But hey, she was not to be convinced because in
her mind she was going to church on that day.
Slightly bummed by the events, she took her a little
fine self and drove to church. There, she arrived slightly late,

(06:00):
and it was if everyone had gotten a memo to
arrive on time. The whole church was packed that Reesy
got let to sit in the front seat by the usher.
This was uncomfortable and more intimidating, but Reesy kept on
walking and followed the lead of the usher until she sat.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
She was sat second road to the front.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
The worship was so powerful that it didn't take time
for resy to get in the spirit. She then started
singing and praying, connecting with God. It must have been
only about twenty minute when she heard this deep, oh
so distinctive, powerful and attractive, manly voice starting to pay

(06:47):
behind her. Oh God, who could that have been? It
took everything in Reasy not to turn around and look.
Being a regular at church, she knew that this man
behind her, who prayed like a husband ah, wasn't a
usual churchgoer. His authoritative praying Aurah but yet so comforting

(07:14):
and mysterious and beautiful voice immediately extracted Reezy from her
intimacy with God, and from that moment she became one
with this stranger. What he didn't know was that he
was no longer praying only for himself, but also for
an indiscreet person who had introduced into his privacy. It's

at that moment that Reasy truly understood how being turned
down felt like, Oh, guys, come on, please get your
minds out of the garter. Not in that way, but man,
a man who knew how to pray was so sexy

(08:01):
and and invigorating and inspiring, of course, okay, Anyhow, the
timbre of his voice was like that of a great orator.
Most certainly this man must have sang divinely after the
praise and worship the team leader invited the church members

(08:23):
to look around and shake a brother and sister's hand.
Oh what this was her opportunity? Uezie shook her neighbor
hand right beside her before turning around with her heart
pounding so hard in her chest and discovering this mysterious
divine soul. As she slowly turned around looked, she saw

(08:51):
an average hight melon and handsome men with beautiful teeth
and bright eyes.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Please tell me why? Oh?

Speaker 2 (09:00):
As if they both knew what was going on at
that specific moment, her hand in his felt just about right.
He smiled back at her as he shook her hand
and said, probably some church stuff to her.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
As Rusie was too.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Maras to understand anything, stared at her for a second
and let go of her hand. Without any doubt. In
Riese's head, she knew that God is real and that
he was letting her know that there was nothing impossible
for him. So instead of being confident, Reese started feeling

(09:41):
nervous and scared. He looked perfect and was definitely her
spec All of a sudden, her fear kicked in and
she started overthinking and wondering and mining up for him, has.

Speaker 3 (09:56):
Even noticed me? But if he has someone in his life?

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Will I look too thirsty if I engage the conversation
with him at the end of the service, Should I
could have foot out? The multitude of questions overtook her,
and it's at that moment that she froze. When the

service ended, Resi, with her heart in her throat, slowly
got up to leave, lacking courage to talk to him.
Although he was staring at her. Resy made few steps forward,
then another, and more, and before she knew it, she

was out of the church. Oh what a tragedy. Resi
was so disappointed at herself. She knew that God had
answered her prayer, but because of her lacking faith, she
hadn't had the courage to trust the work of God

and had missed an opportunity. That afternoon, as Rizzi was
driving back home, the sun was not shining as it
did early this morning. In her heart, this definitely came
across as a great revelation terrasy on that day. She
maybe needed some spiritual growth to undergo before meeting her

There is an African proverb that goes like this, He
who looks for honey must have the courage to face

about everything and do not doubt his plans in any way,
but be prepared to face a mountain and not be afraid.
