The. Car.
You're in a car and you've made multiple IVC violations and now
you're not identifying yourself with a driver's license and
you're not providing insurance and you're not stepping out of
the vehicle. Ma'am, get out of the vehicle

(05:11):
Are you surprised at what happened?
I warned you when I was going tobreak the window.
I warned you when the window wasgoing to break.
And I told you what would happenif you didn't get out of the
vehicle. You've been told everything that

You're adding charges, not. Get your hands off.
Absolutely adding charges. Get your hands off.
No, you're in custody. That's not how this works.

(06:36):
You couldn't listen to simple commands earlier and now here we
are. Bitch, I got a fucking God damn
constitutional right. What you're doing is
unconstitutional. Oh, fuck around and find out
you. Got to go ahead Pocket.

(06:58):
There's the. Coin pocket.
There is nothing on me. I don't have anything.
I don't do anything wrong. OK, perfect.
So don't. Listen to that.
Yeah, I know. It's like it knocked the.
Fuck out too. Because I should submit to a
man, right? I don't care if it's a guy or a
girl, officer. Telling me what to do.
You need to listen. I didn't have you, didn't have

(07:20):
to pull in my car like that and bust my window out.
Man, how many opportunities did you want me to give you?
Are you a toddler? How do you want me to count to
three? I told you Like what?
12 times. How many times did I tell you
what was going to happen? Was it a surprise to you?

instructions. Oh.
How many times your mommy hurt you?

(07:41):
OK, what is your first name? DENIDEANNA last name is Knight
KNI. GHT.
If you would like my Social Security number, I will give it
to you This well, Joyce, it's mymiddle name, 9981.
OK. Is your driver's license in the

(08:04):
vehicle? No Sir, it isn't.
Are you driving without a or without a driver's license?
Or no, I have a driver's license, OK?
How much have you had to drink tonight 1245?
And drugged me out my car and threw me on the ground.
Yes. Because he's asking this how
many alcohol beverages have you consumed tonight?

(08:26):
After you drugged me out of my car and busted out my.
Window. No.
Before that, that's illegal. Before that I'm.
Pretty sure that's illegal. Before that, OK, How many drinks
have you had before though? Yeah, I know because now you
guys have everything after you drug me out of my car and busted
out my window. There is nothing in my car.
You. Have any eye problems or

(08:47):
abnormalities? Any eye problems or
abnormalities? OK.
Yeah, with people who have some power issues.
OK, you've got to be kidding me.25 Name date of birth.
Yeah, I feel like I did something you drove up do.

(09:08):
You have insurance on the vehicle.
Yes, Sir, I. Do where is that insurance
located? Can I get my telephone to show
you my insurance card? Is the vehicle registered to you
or to somebody else? Sir, it is in my name.
OK, where are you coming from tonight?

(09:28):
A friend's house and I'm trying to go home.
Where's home at? And my near.
My near OK. You willing to unlock this for?
Me to get your search. I will show you my insurance.
Can you please, can I just hold this for a minute?

(09:49):
Nope. Yeah, not that fucking big.
Can you please? Will you direct me to the app?
You're. Taking away all of my rights.
You're in custody right now. You're taking away my.
Rights. Stop.
Somebody I have a fucking bully me.
Bully me. Nobody's trying to bully you.

(10:10):
Yes. Telling us what we're going to
do. That's not how this works.
Stop groping me. Get your.
Hands off, you don't have a right.
You are under. Arrest and you keep resisting
and watching. What am I?
Under arrest for. #1 resisting #2 obstructing, OK, And you've

(10:32):
got a slew of traffic charges ontop of that.
No, I don't. You do.
Where? Citations.
I'm going to write here in a minute.
Show me. I will show you every single one
as soon. As I write it now.
How much have you had a drink tonight?
You want to write them now I have nothing.
You have pulled me over illegally.
Can you? How much have you had?

(10:53):
How much have? You had to drink turn on turn.
Around and face me. He's going to take pictures of
your leg. Get off of me.
Turn around. Get your.
Get hands off of. Me every time I let.
Go of you, you just try walking.Away.
Get your hands off of me. Stop.
Yep, I'm pulling me some more. Fucking pieces of shit.

(11:20):
I didn't think you guys were that bad.
All you have to do is get out ofthe vehicle.
Why are you making it so difficult?
I didn't have to get out of the vehicle.
I have a right. It's called a constitutional.
Right. What right do you think you have
that means that you can disobey a police officer in a traffic
stop? Where's your right peace
officer? Sir?
You are not a goddamn constitutional right.

(11:40):
I didn't do anything wrong. I was travelling.
OK. And immediately when I walk up
there, you won't roll your window down you.
Have to comply to you. That's fine, but then I can tell
you to get out of the vehicle. Yeah, but you didn't have to
bust my window open. Either I I did because you
wouldn't get out, you throw. Me on the ground.
You wouldn't ID yourself. I don't have to do that
constitutional right, motherfucker.

(12:02):
I'm going to let you know your rights, OK?
You have the right to remain. Silent.
Sorry, you need to get that you.Have.
My face. Listen to me.
You have the right to remain silent.
You don't. Have to talk to me nothing in
my. Anything that you say or do.
Can and will be used against youin the court of law or the
proceedings. You have the right to talk to an
attorney before I ask you any questions, and I have them with
you during. Questions and.
You can't afford to hire an attorney.
One will be appointed. To represent you.

(12:23):
Before and the questioning if you wish my phone.
You can decide at any time to exercise these.
Wives. Or not make any statements.
Do you understand? Your rights open in my eyes.
Do you understand your rights? Nope.
What part of that do you not understand?
I understand that you violated the shit out of my rights.
OK. Do you understand your rights

(12:43):
though? Nope.
So you don't understand your rights, but you understand that
we've violated your rights. Is that what you're telling me?
Nope, I do not understand my rights.
OK, get out of my face. OK.
Stop shooting your flesh. I'm.
Trying to look. At your eyes to make sure you're
OK. You said that you had glass in
your eye, is that correct? I need you out of my face.
Sir, can I check to make sure that your eyes are OK?

(13:04):
Respect my face as a human being.
OK, I want to make sure that you're OK.
Because you're making God, now all of a sudden you don't care.
Get. I don't.
Care what do you? Mean I do care.
The fuck out of my face. OK, so you're fine then.
You're you're denying any medical treatment.
No, I want medical treatment. Well, that's what I'm.
Trying psychological treatment. What for?

(13:25):
For you get out of my face. OK, All right.
Then I. Feel like you're under the
influence of alcohol, so I'd like to do some field sobriety
tests to make sure that you're safe to drive.
Are you willing to do those tests?
I. I'm willing to fucking have you

(13:47):
leave me the fuck alone. OK, well, unfortunately that's
that's not an option. OK, So what do you think should
have happened? You, you said, oh, I don't want
to identify myself and we shouldhave just said, OK, I don't.
Have a right to I don't have to identify myself.
I know the Constitution. Why do you think that you don't
have to identify yourself? Because I don't have to.
Because it's called the Constitution.

(14:08):
OK, Well, you almost hit my squad car.
OK, You don't have a front license plate?
You were reading back and forth. You failed to signal 100 feet
prior to your turn. Well.
Also my light is out. OK, well, there's another
reason. So those are.
Those are all the. No, I didn't want to do that.

(14:28):
I didn't want to do. That that's why I kept asking
you to get out of the. Vehicle, but you wouldn't.
What am I supposed to do? I don't know, treat me with any
kind of fucking dignity. Well, I keep asking you to get
out of the vehicle. If I don't have to do anything,
you. Do Pennsylvania versus Mims is a
Supreme Court case a Supreme Court case that requires the
driver exit the vehicle when an officer instructs them to.

(14:57):
I don't think I I don't think I needed what was exactly done.
I wish we didn't have to go thisfar, but we did because you
wouldn't get out and you wouldn't identify.
But I don't, I don't have anything.
I'm not a I'm not a bad person. I don't have a drug charges.
I just want to go home. I understand that.
OK. I would like to make sure that
you're not intoxicated. That way we can confirm that

(15:20):
that's not an issue and then maybe we can just get you some
traffic tickets and move on. But we've obviously got to deal
with what's happened and the fact that I can smell alcohol
coming from your breath and I got to make sure it's only a
little bit and it's not too much.
Can I at least check your eyes? Will you let me do that?
Just follow my finger. Fucking through fucking glass in
my eyes, man. Well, that's what I want to also

(15:42):
check is to make sure that you're OK.
With that, you're OK and. Then we've got an ambulance
coming. That's fine, I don't need a
fucking ambulance. Well, you said you wanted
medical treatment, so I'm. I'm I am medical treatment.
I'm a fucking LPN. I am not even a bad person.
I'm not saying I don't. Have any fucking thing on my

(16:02):
record? There's nothing in my car, OK?
Well then, what is? This I didn't.
Change my lights, I'm sorry I have to have a tee, a torque 24
to change it and then there's plastic fucking bolts on my God
damn car and I'm sorry I didn't fucking change the lights.
Honestly, I'm not even concernedabout that.
There were some other things that I was more concerned about.

(16:27):
How much have you had to drink tonight?
Is it just like one or two or three, or is it like 9 or 10 or
11? That's not an option right now.
However. Your your level of cooperation
is going to impact how. Quickly we get to leave that
everybody can leave right now. This is ridiculous.

(16:50):
This is ridiculous, all right? You bring that up.
OK. Just hang out.

(17:14):
Right there while I grab some stuff.
OK. You OK?
OK, Can I help you up? OK.

(17:35):
Can you roll on your side? Can you roll on your side?
It's going to be easier. This way?
Nope. OK, that will work too.
Why would you bring that up? I don't think you realized it
was such a triggering. Thing OK, I.
Did that tonight. Stand up.

(17:59):
You're OK. Don't fall.
OK, We're going to get you inside here.
Close. OK, we're going to walk right
around in here, OK, Give you a couple of deep breaths.
I'm not going to touch you as long as you want.
I understand psychology and I can you please push my hair out
of my mouth because it's really gross.

(18:21):
Sure. This one here.
And I fucked up my own face. I know I did that.
Is your face OK? Did you hurt it?
Yeah, OK. I slid on it.
Just now OK is there. Something the other shit you did
but. OK, well, let me grab your shoes
real fast. OK, I can grab them.

(18:43):
You don't need them. You don't need to lean in there.
That's fine. I'll get them.
He's like, please don't fuck your face up more.
What's that? Here, let me grab your shoes and
everything. OK, but I think he, I don't know
why wouldn't he break? That I don't think he knew that
it was all right. We're going to be over here.

(19:34):
OK, OK, we'll get all that handled.
Would you like me to take one ofthe handcuffs off of you?
Right on your main screen. OK, so the the only way I can do
that is if your other hand is cuffed to one of those rings.
Which one would you prefer? Yeah, if you fuck agree to me

(19:56):
respect, I would comply. I'm going to let this hand go
right here, OK? OK, Yeah.
Now this hand has to go to this ring right here.
Whenever you're ready. So I don't see anything on your

(20:21):
face right now. I don't know if it's going to be
a bruise or something, but it actually doesn't look like it's
injured. I don't like it.
I just don't like it would disrespect him.
I didn't have to roll my fuckingwindow out.
That you didn't have to do, but the ID in getting out you did
have to do. Here, I'm going to.
I got to cuff it right here. That's their policy, OK if I

(20:43):
don't do that. As your Sergeant, I'm compliant.
I know you won't. He's.
He's not here, right? Now I know.
I actually said. We got to.
Do this, I asked him to plead. I wanted him this.
This one right here. Come here.
I got to, I got to cuff this andI'm not trying to drag her.
They're hurting me. Well, I don't want to if you
slide. Over they're tight.

(21:06):
Well, I'll. Rotate them, but they're
actually. Very loose.
Well, maybe if you were respectful.
OK, if you would have gotten outof the car, I wouldn't have had
to break your window. If you would have just fucking
not been an asshole. The first thing I said was that
you either need to get out or give me your ID and you would
not do that. My ID is at home.

(21:27):
And you could have said that. That's all you had to say.
Hey, my ID is at home but I'll give you my name.
She didn't. So how am I supposed to know?
I can't magically tell what's inyour wallet.
I just know that the the law says that you're supposed to
have with you. Well, we don't have a bathroom
right here. You're going to have to hold it
for a few minutes. No, I'm gonna.
I have a medical issue. I have an overhead guy.

(21:49):
It's a medical issue. Let me.
See. Hold on, hold on.
Let me see if they'll let us go over to the the DOC room.
And it's a medical issue. And if you want like a medical
record, I can give it to you. Trump.
Hey, it's McCall with Bloomington.
My custody needs to use the bathroom.
Can you get us through to the DOC room here?

(22:11):
All right, I'll handcuffer from the bench and we'll be ready.
OK. I'm from West Virginia, it's
fine. Can I please have my phone can?
I call anybody to come. Pick me up.
Yep, but you want to use the bathroom, so we're going to do
that first. Well, yeah, I can piss on myself
and do this. I'm from West Virginia.

(22:32):
I'm from the holidays. You would think I'm used to
getting beat. Hold up, hold up.
I'm not violent. I know, but there are still laws
and policies that I have to follow.
Yeah, I know. And you didn't have to do what
you did to me. I don't know what else.
Hold on the wrong way. I don't know what else you
expect me to do. I don't know.

(22:54):
Be respectful. I can respectfully break a
window. I don't have any ill will
towards you, but I I, I got to get you out of the vehicle and
if you're not going to do it, then I have to do it and your
doors were locked. There was no other option.
All right, so on. Oh, hold on.

(23:15):
Are you left your? Hands down.
No, that's why your hands are infront.
Hey. Can.
Just. 1. You're 1 cannot ask him if he
can trust me. I have to pull my fucking.
Can you pull your hands down with the belt?
I'm not doing that. I'm not a violent fucking.

(23:58):
I'm not going to unleash 1. You cannot.
You cannot use the bathroom. Hold on.
Hold on. Would you listen to me for a
second? I have had many people before
you who have easily peed with handcuffs up front.
Are you telling me you. Can't do it.
How much of A criminal record dothey have?
I don't know. Because this is not something
I'm used. To OK, then come here.

(24:20):
I'll fix the handcuffs. Stop pulling your pants down.
I get it. Hold on.
No problems. OK.
No, I pinky promise. I didn't even make a joke.

(25:21):
I was like, I got brazor blades in my butt.
I'm just kidding. Yeah, we don't want to joke I.
Don't. Know.
All right, we're going to do it like this until we get back over
there, and then I'll uncuff one of them and put them on the
bench. One hand, be free.
Can I make a phone call please? Wait, I get back over there

(25:43):
first. I've got.
It. I've got your.
Phone. You guys.
Have my phone. I've got your phone.
Well, I think you were kind of playing around and so.
No, I had a right to videotape. You guys have?

(26:03):
No, not once you're in custody. You've got body hands on.
No, when you're in custody, you do not have the right to keep
your phone with you and record. Usually that creates an officer
safety issue because people are Facebook Live in and they tell
their friends where they're at and then their friends show up
on the stop. I don't know what you were
doing. OK.
Well. That's The thing is we don't

(26:24):
have to. We don't have to let you have.
The phone have me have rights. You don't have to ask you're.
In custody, your rights are restricted right now, that's how
that works. For a traffic violation.
That's what it started as, and unfortunately it evolved all the
way to this. Can I please have my phone so I
can call somebody? So I can let you get a phone

(26:47):
number off of your phone? You can't call using your phone.
It's still in the squad car. We gotta wait till they get over
here. Unless if you can remember a
number or you know a name that we could try to look up you.
Might not be able to answer because he's at work.
OK. Great, fantastic.

(27:15):
Thanks for fucking up my. Life Your date is going to be
July 16th at 9:00 AM. Oh great, You know what?
What day? What?
What day is that when I have to go to medical school and I'll
get kicked out? July 16th.
Yep. So one day that I've got you is.

(27:36):
My fucking school age. We don't tell your school
anymore. I had to take time off.
I had school that day from 9:00 to 2:00.
Well, can we do? It on a Friday.
That's right. I don't know.
What day can we please schedule a Friday?
Monday is the 16th. It's a Monday.

(27:57):
Almost positive. That's a fucking Monday.
Looks like it's a Wednesday. Well, whatever, we're going to
do it a couple of days later, please, on the Friday you get.
You have to talk to the courthouse.
Unless you. Please give me a fucking Friday.
A different day. That's the day that it prints
off. I have to give that day.
I don't have an option. On that, you're going to.

(28:21):
Get a copy of the warning, the motor, whatever earlier talking
about the consequences of you refusing to provide a bread
samples. What about the roof anyway?
Just shout out Deanna. You're going to get a towed
vehicle hearing notice because your vehicle was incounded.

hours and then after that you, the registered owner, as long as

(28:42):
you provide identification, can get the vehicle.
There's a $410 incound fee for DUI.
You've got to be shitty me. Nope and.
Then Oh my God, that's a car payment.
It's not cheap. Well, now you've created

No, I don't. Deanna Knight was charged with
driving under the influence, failing to comply with police
orders, resisting law enforcement and several other
traffic violations, including speeding and failing to use turn
signals. Her conduct was deemed
dangerous, obstructive to law enforcement and a threat to

(31:00):
public safety. Now I have to come around there
and I have to put freaking. Handcuffs on you again, you
complain. Please don't because I have PTSD
and I don't like being restrained.
Please. I gave you the option.
I am sitting down and I'm behaving.
Just leave me alone. Please don't put them on me.

(31:21):
No, that's not. I'm not violent.
That's not an option. We're in the jail.
We follow their rules. OK, you're nearest.
Do you want one risk free? Or do you?
Want them both handcuffing on your back?
Those are the only two options. That's not an option.
OK, I'm going to give you 5I. Want a lawyer?

(31:43):
You know you. You don't get a lawyer right
now. Why?
Because. Because I don't have rights,
right? Now.
You're in custody. I don't have rights.
Nobody's interrogating you. You get a lawyer for.
Interrogation. You are interrogation.
What is this? That's not interrogation, that's
the result of you failing to comply.
I guess I should have been black.

(32:04):
No, Please don't stop. Please, Please.
I have PTSD. Please.
I have PTSD. Please, please, please.
I can show you if you get my phones.
I can show you if you get my phones.
I can show you I haven't if you get my phone.

(32:25):
Please if I will behave. Stop.
Twisting if you stop doing this to me.
Twisting your arm. OK.
You're just going to have one hand that's cuffed.
That's what's required. Can you please get my phone?
I will show you that I have fucking severe PTSD and it's a

(32:48):
fucking medical problem. Please.
Your phone is in the squad car and I can't leave you in here to
go get it. I have to wait until the then.
Take me. I have to wait.
No, you're slipping out of your handcuffs.
I'm not going to do that becauseif I unhandcuff you from there,
then you have to go with the hands behind the back.

(33:09):
That is the best option for you right now.
It would be much better for you to stop trying to pull away and
trying to get out of those. It would be so much better if
you would understand that I havePTSD and being restrained
triggers me. That's why I'm not putting them
behind the back. I'm working with you as much as
I can. No, you're not OK.

(33:30):
Do not pull your hand out of there.
If you do that, I'm going to cuss you behind the back.
I know you're going to break my window and drag me out of my car
again too. You're making decisions.
You're making you making decisions you made decisions you
didn't have to do. Did you even run my name?

(33:51):
It's not that it doesn't matter that like I don't have a record.
I don't run around a break laws.I had a right not to roll my
window down because. You've never been arrested
doesn't mean that you have a right to not be arrested.
That's not how that. Works.
That's not even what I was saying.
You're saying that since you've never been arrested?
Before. We should have just let you go
and just. No, no, I've been arrested

(34:14):
before Sir, when I was younger. I'm just saying that like I
don't run around and do fuck shit.
It's gotta fooled me. The case of Deanna Knight
concluded with multiple serious charges, ranging from driving
under the influence to resistingpolice.

(34:35):
It serves as a clear reminder that just one moment of
recklessness can lead to severe legal consequences and endanger
both oneself and the community. Always remain sober and
responsible behind the wheel because Rd. safety is not only a
personal duty but also a shared responsibility toward everyone.

(35:02):
On the 5th of July, the Albuquerque police set up a
sobriety checkpoint to prevent drunk driving, but a surprise
occurred when a Gray Dodge Charger approached the
checkpoint with its front bumperdragging on the ground.
When officers asked the 19 year old driver to get out of the
car, they discovered a male passenger sitting next to him
holding a firearm. Hello, ma'am.

(35:26):
Hello. Are you OK?
Yes, ma'am. Hi.
I'm Officer Castellana. I'm Credit Police Department.
Did you know that you're dragging your bumper?
What's that? Don't reach for it.
Obviously. Tell him to step out.
I'll lock your door. I'll lock your door.
Step out. I was.

(35:48):
Just flagged down and he was involved in the head.
Ma'am, come with me. No, relax.
Yes. Why are you dragging your front
bumper? Dragging my front bumper, I

(36:11):
don't know. It was dragging my front bumper.
It was already dragged. It's been falling off since for
a minute. No, we just don't.
Fight me down. I was like, why are you driving
like that? Why am I driving like that?
It's my car. From the very first moments of
the scene, the girl continuouslyresisted, even responding

(36:31):
sharply to the police when questioned about her dangerous
driving. As if that weren't enough, she
mocked something, causing the atmosphere to gradually become
tense. Hey, Linda.
Linda. Ma'am.

(36:54):
Yes. Can you tell me what is that
white powdery substance under your nose?
White Cary substance, yeah. Yeah, don't touch your nose.
Touch your face. Yeah, I can see it.
Ma'am, what are you snorting? Nothing.
OK, I'm a snorting nothing. So I'm a DWI officer, Yeah.
Where are you coming from? I'm coming from the West side.

(37:15):
From the what? Side the.
What side? Unser and Tower, let's go.
What's over there? What's over there?
My car. No, your car's right behind me.
Yeah, it is right there. Why do you seem?
Upset. Why do you seem upset?
I don't. You seem a little upset to me.
I I really don't. OK, can we have a conversation?

(37:37):
Yes. Where?
Where are you headed to? I'm heading to my house in Rio
Rancho. OK, how far is that from here?
Only like maybe like 10 minutes.10 minutes.
Yes. OK, Do you know where you're at
right now? Yes.
Where you at? I'm.
Going to be here on Unser. You're over here on Unser, Yes,
Unser and what? Course.

(37:58):
You're over at Unser and Chorus. No unser and chorus, but I won't
be here like close do. You know where you're at
precisely. No, not the street name,
precisely. No, that's the OK other than
what I believe to be. Coke.

(38:18):
No, there isn't no coke. OK, Did you drink any alcohol
today? No, I didn't.
Yeah, where's who's the open container belong to I.
Don't know what are you talking about.
Open container. Of alcohol.
No, I didn't see no open container of alcohol.
That vehicles your responsibility.

(38:39):
Why don't you know about that? What do you mean responsibility
of no violating alcohol? There is no alcohol in my car.
OK. The girl seemed to lose her
composure when questioned about the white powder under her nose,
and her denial was clearly a blatant lie.
Her confidence in mentioning herown lawyer turned what should
have been simple tests into a tense legal confrontation.

(39:02):
Do you feel safe to drive tonight?
Yes, I do. I'm trying to go home.
I work in the morning at 8:00 AM.
Yes. OK, so you said you had no
alcohol. Yes.
None. What about drug use?
No, don't drug use. Don't drug use.
No, I know there isn't. No, don't touch your face.

(39:24):
Don't. Touch your nose.
OK. All right.
I forgive you. OK, I'm sorry, really there
isn't no drug use. You guys could drug use me right
now. OK, so does this interactions be
audio visually recorded? Yes, I understand that.
OK. Did you notice that you were
hitting anything on the way herewithin the last 800 yards of

(39:47):
stretch? Yes I know some of my bumper was
falling off but I still driving.Because what else?
What else were you hitting? Nothing.
So you weren't driving over anything in the road?
No, I wasn't. Was there anything right here?
Was there anything laid out in the road?
No, there wasn't. So there wasn't speed bumps in
the road anywhere. No.
Over here, no. No, not over here.

(40:08):
How about signs? Did you notice any posted signs
before you were driving over to me at a highway speed?
What did those signs say? Those signs, they said stop
signs, they said no signs the. They said Rd. signs out of.
Yes, like the speed limit signs.OK, so ma'am, how do you feel

(40:31):
right now? Do you do you feel defensive?
Do you feel like you're going towant to fight or hurt anybody or
yourself? I do not, I do not feel
defensive. Can.
You put your arms on your side. Thank you.
Because I'm just me being a person to another person seem
pretty upset. You seem pretty defensive and
you don't seem as if you're being quite honest with that

(40:55):
little. That blow you have under your I
don't have any muscle. Under my.
Nose, it's OK. It is what it is.
So this what's going to happen. OK, I'm going to have you
undergo A seriousness international sobriety test
because through my training and experience.
OK. I believe you'd be under the

(41:15):
influence. OK, OK, OK.
So just so you know you're driving demeanor, you pass by
signs that said checkpoint ahead, slow down.
You were driving over speed bumps like they didn't exist.
You were dragging your bumper like you hit a curb from hell
and you didn't give two squats about it and you continue

(41:36):
driving anyway. You could have removed the
bumper off your vehicle, it would have been less obvious,
but you were drawing a lot of attention.
And when you have a lot of flashlights shining near your
vehicle, people yelling to stop, and you can't hear loud adults
using their adult voices. No, I do you guys, I do stop.
Eventually, but for our safety, we're out here with reflective

(41:59):
vest and we don't want to get hit by cars.
It's pretty scary. OK, yes, I understand.
So what is going to happen is you are going to undergo
seriously standardized reality sobriety tests and not pass or
fail everything I have you do. I'm going to explain, I'm going
to demonstrate for the divided attention tests and we will go
from there. OK, OK.
Do you have any questions for me?

(42:19):
No, I do not. No, no, no break.
So we don't have any strobe flashing lights or anything like
that. Do you see?
I have that headlight right there by those gentlemen.
The girl mentioned to the policethat she had just been in an
accident only a week ago and still had back pain.
Regardless, she still had to undergo the police's strict
sobriety test. That one the the right one,

(42:42):
yeah, OK. Go walk over to the headlight
for me and then turn around and face me.
Once you get there, just take a step forward.
Perfect. Put your feet together.
Keep your hands to your side. Do you feel comfortable walking
on those sandals? Not really, but I'm going to
walk on them. Not really, but I'm going to

(43:02):
walk on them. Yes.
Do you want me to walk barefoot? It's up to you.
It's whatever you're more comfortable in because one of
these tests you are going to be walking.
OK, well I am going to have an attorney so it doesn't matter.
Cool. OK, All right, You're going to
have an attorney. Yeah.
So. All right.
So feet together, heels touch and toes touch.
And place your hands to your side.

(43:22):
Stand straight. Remain in that position.
Do not move out of this positionunless I direct you otherwise.
You understand? Yes, Sir.
OK. Have you ever had any type of
brain injuries in the past? Yes.
How long everything? Just gone to a car wreck about
a. Week a couple months ago.
No, not a couple minutes ago. My bumper been like that.
How long has your bumper been like that?

(43:43):
Hi, for like about a week, probably about a week somebody
handing to me. Where did they hit you at?
They hit me in the front. They hit you in the front, was
it? Yes, I was going forward, yeah.
And they went straight. Like a head on collision.
Not a head on collision. It wasn't bad.
I could still drive my car so they just kept on going, but I
did. You go to the doctors or

(44:03):
hospital about it. Yeah, I went to the hospital
like a day later, but. A day later, how?
What was the results of that? They just said I have to go to
physical therapy. For what?
For about my back. What's wrong with your back?
Well, it's been hurting. I told him that I gone to a
crash. The person hit me on back.
It wasn't in my car, but it's inanother car.

(44:25):
They hit me back on and that's where they hit my back.
So they told me I'm going to need to go to physical therapy.
OK, are you able to? What do you do for a living?
What I do, yeah, I work at Maverick, the gas station.
OK. Do you stand all day?
Yes. Do you do any, do you lift any
boxes or stock or anything? Do you have to get get down on

(44:45):
your knees and get some lower shelves and reach?
Up high, yes. That's what you have to do every
day. You have to put away the truck.
You have to sit there and take out the trashes.
You have to sit there and take care of customers, do everything
like that, yes. OK, All right, cool.
So it sounds like you're pretty active at work.
Yes. All right, finish your answers
side, please. All right, Keep your head
straight. Look at the tip of my finger.

(45:06):
I'm not going to put the light in your eyes.
Just look at my finger. Track it with your eyes only.
Keep your head still. Do you understand?
Yes. Just looking at your pupils for
a second, just keep your head still on track with your eyes
only. Do you understand?
OK. Do you understand?
Yes or no? Yes.

(45:45):
Keep your head still, please face your nose towards me.
OK? Perfect.
Thank you so much. Thank you.
Hey. You want me to just follow my
eyes, right? Yep, my eyes only.

(46:18):
Keep your head still, please. OK.
Oh, OK. Yeah.
Thank you so much. So you're moving your head with

(46:41):
my finger. OK.
You got to keep your head still.OK, I have to keep only my eyes.
No move, only your eyes. We're almost done.
We're going up and down. Just keep your chin where it's
at, OK? BGN.

(47:17):
So this is the this is the part that I told you that you're
going to have to walk. Now I'll give you the option you
can remove your white sandals that that's not covering.
Your heel or you? Can keep them on.
When the sobriety test began, she was completely uncooperative
and turned everything into a farce.
If you think her actions weren'tdue to intoxication but rather a

(47:39):
blatant challenge mocking the police hit like on the video,
could the officer still find a way to control the situation or
would everything spiral completely out of control?
OK. I just saw a rule of just in
case because I barely bought them tonight, OK And they were a
little bit big. So look at your left foot, OK?

(48:02):
Keep your left foot right where it's at.
Put your right foot in front of your left foot.
Touch heel to toe just like mine.
Place your hand to your side. Stand in that position.
Stay in that position. Do not start this test until I
tell you to begin. You understand, OK?
Touch heel to toe, just like my feet.

(48:24):
So you want me to touch my othertoe?
Like this left foot here, left foot planet, right foot in front
of your left foot. Touch heel to toe.
Just like that. Hands to your side, remain in
that position. Do not start to test until I
tell you to begin. You understand?
OK, When I tell you to begin, can you pitch an imaginary line
from your front foot to my foot?OK, Yes or no?

(48:45):
Yes. All right, on that imaginary
line, you're going to take a total of nine steps, touching
heel to toe. When it gets to that ninth step,
you're going to keep your front or leaf foot planted.
And with your back foot, you're going to take a series of small
steps, turning yourself around. You're going to keep turning
around until you face the direction that you came from.
On that same imaginary line, take. 9 steps and then from the

(49:06):
9 steps turn around. Yes.
OK. And I'm going to demonstrate
that for you. OK.
And then you're going to return an additional 9 steps touching
heel to toe. So this is the position you're
in and it's going to look like this. 123, I took three steps
for demonstration. You're going to take 9 lead foot
stays. Planet back foot is going to
help you turn around just like this.

(49:27):
A series of small steps, turningaround, face the direction that
you came from, return an additional 9 steps touching heel
to toe 123, so on and so forth until you get to how many steps.
And so you get there. How many steps?
9. OK 9 When you're doing this
test, you're going to look down at your feet, you're going to

(49:51):
count each step out loud, you'regoing to keep your hand to your
side, don't raise them, and you're going to continue and do
not stop this test until you've completed the test and.
Just keep a straight line, right?
Yep. Do you understand the
instructions to this test? Yes, press up.
No. Oh, no.
Do you understand the instructions to this test?
Yes. Do you have any questions?
So whenever I get to the 9th step, I just turn around, right?

(50:13):
In the manner that I showed you.Do you need me to show you
again? Yeah, show me again.
So 9th step back foot helps you turn around, taking a series of
small steps, turning around justlike this and then return an
additional 9 heel to toe steps. Just like that.
Any other questions for you so you?
Can see how many steps I do do. You have any other questions?

(50:33):
No. Just remember, keep your hands
or shot. OK?
OK, you may begin. 10 steps.

(50:59):
I did. Not.
Are you done? Yes.
All right, say less. All right, Feet together Once
again. Hands to your side.
You remain in this position. Do not start to test until I try
to begin. You understand?
Yes. When I tell you to begin, you're
going to elevate either foot of your choice, left or right, up
to you in front of you, approximately 6 inches high.
Now you're going to stand straight.

(51:21):
You're going to keep your arms are going to remain to your
side. And the foot that you're going
to elevate, both of your legs are going to be straight.
Foot is going to be up in the air, 6 inches high, toe pointed
down to where your foot's flat and parallel to the ground, just
like that. Yep.
Do you understand so far how? Many am I supposed to do?
I'll explain, but do you understand so far?
Yes, OK, side to side. Yep.

(51:43):
In that position you're going tocount in this manner 1001, one
thousand, two, 1003, so on and so forth until I tell you to
stop. OK.
Do you understand the instructions?
Yes. Do you have any questions for
me? I.
Understand like 1000 one, 1199 Ninety 897.

(52:13):
Like that, right? No, not even close then.
What are you saying? You're going to stand, you're
not going to move. You're going to stand.
You're going to stand straight and you're only lifted up 1 foot
and you're going to lift that foot toe, point it down, stare
at that elevated foot, arms to your side, both legs straight,
looking at the elevated foot andyou're going to count in this
manner. 1001, one thousand two, 1003, so on and so forth until I

(52:37):
tell you to stop and remember, 6foot is approximately 6 inches
high off the ground, flat, parallel.
Do you understand? Do I do I count it like just
moving or do I not move? You don't move.
OK. So.
Just stand straight. I'm just going to say 1000 put.
Your hands to your side. 1999 like that.
No, I. Thought you.

(52:59):
Were I'll explain again, arms toyour side, both legs straight, 1
foot either foot 1 foot only in front of you toe point it down 6
inches high. In this position, you're not
going to move out of that position.
You're going to stare at that elevated foot and you're going
to count in this manner. 1001 one thousand two, 1003, so on

(53:20):
and so forth until I tell you tostop.
Do you understand? Now relax your legs.
Do you understand? OK, yes or no?
Yes. OK, once you lift your foot up
you may be good. 1009 199998990799-I-6997900I-5990499399299391990

(54:00):
898. Hundred 89880 Eight 800. 87 you
can stop. OK, You're OK.
So no alcohol, no drugs. No, and I don't have no coaching
on my nose. You do.
What is it then? I don't know what are you

(54:21):
talking about. I don't see.
So do me a favor, I'm going to give you a series of simple
instructions, OK? OK.
I want you to cooperate with me,but I'm going to let you know
right now you are under arrest for driving under the influence
of intoxicating liquor and or drug.
You're going to turn around and face my vehicle and you can put
your hands around your back. You're going to do that right
now. Immediately after being informed
of her arrest, the girl seemed to completely explode.

(54:44):
How did she respond when the police asked for her name and
Social Security number? How did the offender coldly
refuse to take the alcohol test? And when being escorted away,
what did she shout that made thescene extremely tense?
I don't know what the hell. Drugs and or alcohol that was.

(55:13):
Crazy. And run course in Sequoia.
Oh, no way. Outstanding.
Ma'am, do you have anything in your pockets that's going to
poke brick or stick me? My phone.

(55:35):
Your phone is going to poke brick or stick me it's.
Not going to break you, but it'sin my pocket.
Yeah, that's not what I'm askingyou about.
Do you have anything in your pockets that's going to hurt me?
No, I don't. Outstanding Put your feet shoes
back. On it's super.
OK, well I'm going in your pockets.
I got such a chances of wrestling, my palm is going to
face me at all times. I'm just going to make sure that

(55:56):
I remove everything that does, nothing longer you.
Keep puff is in your pocket and I want that back.
Your what? My puff what's what is a puff I
don't notice. It's a puff, it's a nicotine.
I want to hit that right now. All right, bend your elbows.
I got to go in your back pocket.Pull your pocket towards me.
Look, my puff is. In that pocket, let me.
Your dyspo. No, my puff.
What? Is it?
What is a Dyspo? It's a nicotine.

(56:19):
What? What pocket is it in?
I was saying the back one that you just pressed.
There's absolutely nothing in there.
Do you keep anything tucked inside your shirt?
Are you wearing a bra? No, I'm not wearing a bra.
Can you put your hair back behind your shoulders?
Like swing it back? Perfect.
I'm going to go below your chestline with the back of my hand.
I'm only making sure that there's nothing in there that's
going to hurt me. Cool.

(56:40):
Let's go have a seat in this backseat right here.
Ma'am, can you open up your mouth really wide for me?
Really wide. Stick your tongue up in here.

(57:00):
Let's throw, OK? Thank you.
Promise y'all ain't doing. Shit, Hey, what's?
Your social. Hello.
What? What's your social?
For what? Your Social Security number.

(57:24):
For what I got to find out who you.
Are that's why? What's your social?
I know my social. What is it funny?
Not your business. I need to speak to an attorney.
I know. I got my attorney on the call.
You're definitely going to need to talk to an attorney.
What's your first name? Not your business.

(57:44):
Man, I'm not speaking to an attorney.
You know I don't want it. I don't want to charge you with
additional charges, but you haveto identify yourself.
You know that, right? I don't know what additional
charges I have. You will pick up concealing ID.
OK, well I'll wait till I know my charges, thank.
You you're being charged with DWI and it sounds like you're
being charged with a hit and run.
Here and run for what? This is my car.
Leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident up the road.

(58:06):
What what motor vehicle seen up the road because.
There ain't no shit. Yeah, you apparently hit
somebody. I actually didn't so.
OK, so what's your first name? I'm being nice to you.
Why are you being mean to me? You're being mean to me, but you
put me in the back of the car. Because you're under arrest.
For. What DWI?

(58:27):
I ain't fucking drinking while driving.
OK, what's what's your first name?
None of your business. I speak into my.
Please I don't have time for this.
I don't have time for you. Really.
I don't want to get your eye speaking.
I don't want, I'm, I'm telling you, I don't want to charge you
with concealing ID because if you don't tell me who you are,

(58:48):
I'm going to drive you to the crime lab.
I'm going to get you fingerprinted and we're going to
go from there. Aleah, aleah.
How do you spell your first name?
ALEAH. How old are you?
19. 19 743 I see that my I'm looking at my comments.

(59:13):
It says that my driver was involved in a hit and run.
Do we have any 49 on that it's. Negative.
I told you I ain't getting no didn't run.
I don't know. Down there so crash and then
come into a checkpoint. In the patrol car, death seemed

(59:35):
to be the last option she clung to while being restrained.
We're not sure if this was desperation or a calculated act
to manipulate the officer's mind, because just seconds later
her obscene insults became even more blatant.
Let's let's go for a walk. Let's let's go for a walk.

(01:00:04):
We're going on the bus. Yep.
Come on. Can you start my 20 minutes desk
at? This time, Yep.
Thank you. This way, this way.
He's back. Steps right here.

(01:00:25):
Give me one second. Let me get that door for you.
Is there anything else coming uphere?
Where is my car and my keys. With your friend, I got you.
Hang on now. Walk all the way down there,

(01:00:46):

They're problems. I'm pretty positive those years.
So hey, this might be a little easier if you read along with
me. If not, it's up to you, but I'm
going to read only what's written in blue.
OK, this is the New Mexico implied consent advisory.
I'm reading the the Breath Test advisory for this intoxilizer

(01:01:08):
instrument. Listen to me.
I'm about to tell you something important.
You're under arrest for driving under the influence of
intoxicated liquor and or drug. The New Mexico Plaque Consent

alcohol content of your blood. After you take our test, you
have the right to choose an additional independent test.
If you choose to take this additional independent test, you
have the right to a reasonable opportunity to arrange for a

(01:01:30):
physician, A licensed nurse or laboratory technician or
technologist who's employed by ahospital or a physician of your
own choice to perform an additional chemical test.
Because of this, additional testwill be paid by the law
enforcement agency. Do you agree to take our test?
Yes or no? Yeah.
I cannot force you to take our test, but if you refuse, you
will lose your New Mexico driver's license or non resident

(01:01:52):
operating privileges for one year.
If you are convicted in court while driving under the
influence, you may also receive a greater sentence because you
refuse to be tested. Do you understand?
Yes or no? Yeah.
Do you now agree to be tested? Yes or no?
Sounds good. Wait till my attorney.
Makes my job easier. Thank you let.
Me see. It come where?

(01:02:14):
Downtown. Why?
Because I said so, that's why. Why?
For what? Where's my shit?
Well, you gonna bring my keys with me?
Because I ain't leaving all my keys here.
Sorry. We're going downtown.
Bring my keys. I need my attorney.
All right, let's go. Come on.
Come on. Hold on.
Stay right there. Who has my phone in my keys?

(01:02:36):
Your car has your phone in your keys.
My car has my phone in my keys. Well where the fuck is my car?
Watch your step. Watch your hair.
Oh, my hair is fine. Yeah, come on, this way.
Where the fuck is my car? Later.

(01:02:58):
Hey, hey, who's the transport officer?
Don't call me, don't call me a bitch.
That's such a mean word you are.A bitch I'm.
Not a I'm not a bitch. I'm a well.

(01:03:19):

(01:03:39):
I'm on fire right now.
Don't lead the way, please. I got the Give me one second.
Give me one second. All right, let's go.

(01:04:02):
Hanging left. Left, Left, Left, Left, Left,
left. Left.
Your military. Left.
This, left. This over here.
One more left. This way.
I'm no longer going to be seeingyou the rest of the evening.

(01:04:23):
Behave yourself for this guy. OK, You have paperwork that's
going with you. Everything that I wrote on
today's synopsis is on a complaint.
If you want a further in depth copy, it's going to be on the
offense incident report that I'mgoing to write later on today.
That firearm is going to be at the crime lab.

(01:04:44):
If somebody needs to go pick it up, your cell phone's going to
be tagged into evidence. And here's another cell phone
with you. The girl was arrested for DWI
with clear evidence, including dangerous driving, a white
powder under her nose suspected to be cocaine, an open bottle of
alcohol in the car, and deliberately sabotaging the
sobriety test. Her behavior went beyond DWI,

(01:05:04):
showing blatant defiance, from concealing her identity and
refusing the alcohol test to insulting and challenging the
police. Additionally, she could face
charges for possession of controlled substances,
possessing a weapon while intoxicated and causing an
accident, and fleeing if there were any victims.
These actions, combined with herrefusal to comply with traffic

(01:05:24):
laws and her erratic behavior, put her at risk of very serious
legal consequences, including both criminal charges and
administrative penalties such asa one year suspension of her
driver's license. On the night of the 16th of
February, the parking lot of theSarasota Food and Beer
restaurant turned into the sceneof a chaotic chain of events.

(01:05:45):
An argument between Hector and Alexia erupted right before the
bewildered eyes of their young son, Angelo.
But this was not just a simple family quarrel.
Within only a few short hours, everything spiraled into chaos.
What turned an ordinary evening into uncontrollable mayhem?
And why did an innocent child have to witness it all?
Stay tuned. You is this really what we're

(01:06:10):
going to be doing tonight? Seriously.
No, because now we have a witness saying something
happened back here so. So what's happened?
Do you want to go? Do you want to go that?
Route because we'll go that route, no.
No, be honest with you. I'm trying to get everything so.
Right, well so 2 problems exist right now.
One, they told us that you were choking her against the car.
OK, so that's. No way.

(01:06:32):
So that's problem. I'm gonna I'm gonna sit behind.
Let's take the camera, OK? That's problem one.
Problem 2 is your plastered and you're sitting in the driver's
seat of. The car with.
The with the keys No, no, no. No, baby, no, no, they say.
The problem? They say that I strangle you.
Let's see. You.

(01:07:01):
Are. Doing.
This are you getting me? You doing all of this baby
because he's Hispanic? Baby baby.
I just want to go home be stupid.
Ass Mother, you are stupid ass mother.
No, I don't give up. No, Stupid ass mother, You see

(01:07:26):
me? You see me?
I see you. Stupid ass mother.
No, he was choking me. Are you fucking kidding me?
No, you. You.
Somebody told you. No.
You are the mother fucking baby.I don't want to.

(01:07:47):
Take. You to jail so.
Just relax. No, Hey, hey.

(01:08:23):
Stop, stop, stop. Stop.
Stop. Stop, Stop, Stop, stop, stop.
So inside the reporting that he was strangling her, he's
Applebee's reviewing camera footage.

(01:08:44):
She's encroaching. I mean, I had to push her away.
So which he's reviewing camera footage to see if that's
legitimate. But she was in the driver's seat
with the car. So thank you.
Hey, Hector. Your back stop resisting.

(01:09:41):
This is what else?

(01:10:07):
No, no, no, no, no. Look to my head, Stupid Look at
my head. Look at my head.
Look at my head, stupid, look atmy head.

(01:10:33):
Oh my God, my son, what happenedto him?

(01:11:07):
No, that's that's double. What?
Part of your hand. Take a deep breath.

(01:11:38):
You want? What do you want?
You want me to readjust them? Yes.
You want me to readjust them. Don't even know her name yet.
What's your name? Alexia.
Alexia, stop. You can get fingers in there.

(01:12:22):
Yeah, I can on both sides. If you would stop screaming, OK,
then nothing's going to happen, then nothing's going to happen.
You're going to get in the. Back of the car, then into the

(01:12:44):
car we. Go.
Where is the highlight? Where is the highlight?

(01:13:10):
the. Alessia, Alessia, listen to me.
You want me to tell you where your baby's going?

(01:13:32):
Take a deep breath. Stop screaming, please.
OK, take a deep breath. Listen to me.
Listen to me. If for injuries, if you if you
and Hector are being arrested, she'll he'll be going with DCF,
Department of Children and Families.
Yeah, but we can't leave him by himself.

(01:13:55):
Oh, wait. Oscar, did you get her legs?
Yes, I did. I got her legs.
So he got her legs on the ground?
Yeah. Yeah.
Yep. Alessia, listen to me.
OK? Take a deep breath, OK?
We were trying. We're trying to figure out

(01:14:15):
what's going on, OK? That's why people are going in
handcuffs, just to situate the situation so everyone is safe.
So everyone is safe, OK? That's why people, that's why
people go into handcuffs, OK, OK.
Well, that you should have thought of that before you got

(01:14:36):
drunk tonight. You really should have.
You really should have thought about that.
OK, All right. It looks like she's 2D Wet fire.
Really not surprising, but she might catch that charge because
she was an actual physical control back car with the kid
inside. Vehicle was on.
She was sitting here in the driver's seat.

(01:15:02):
Her phone is supposed to be in here, she said.
You know where her phone is. Do you know where her phone is?
It's just somewhere in her purse.
She's in her purse. It's not in her purse, buddy.
It's not in her purse. I looked in there already,

(01:15:41):
buddy. You know where you're Auntie
Elena lives? Do you know where your Auntie
Elena lives? I.
Don't know. Where left and right goes.

(01:16:02):
The only thing is, is like he iswith Oscar.
I don't. Know.
Huh. I'm going to see if this will do
it without it. I don't know.
He had her phone the whole time.I don't know his password.
Madam. Oh, her phone OK, but I don't
know the password. It's not well.
We can get that from her. So this one's dead too?

(01:16:24):
Yeah. No, you can.
What is happening? It's.
About the sister, hey. What's Alena's last name?
What? What?
Same as yours? What's that bun Bunton?
What's? What's her birthday?

(01:16:48):
What? What?
You don't know. All right.
Both of them. That's what I mean by just keep,
just keep dialing. Hopefully, yeah.
What's her password again? My what?
Password. My phone or her phone?
Your phone, your. Phone.

(01:17:18):
Yeah, you can do it. Yes, yes, Sir.
Nothing new shoes or anything. Anything I want to.
Do it just the. We pick on a man with my friend.

(01:17:38):
You can check in the camera, right?
Come here with my friend, my wife, my son, her wife and her
daughter. We was here.
We got drunk, we got couple drinks, whatever you want to
say. We come back, you can check the
camera, you can check when I leave, you can check when I come
back, you can check whatever youwant.
I was not doing nothing. I don't tell anybody nothing.

(01:18:00):
And then I asked Hand to tell meif I can put my hands on front
of me. That's all I want.
That's all I want. Exactly.
You tell me you can, but you don't tell me why.
Because you tell me I have a reason, a policy.
OK. When you tell me it's a policy,
you have to explain me what's the policy?
Because I'm asking. You because your hands have to
be in the back. OK, in your back.

(01:18:21):
OK, hang on. You're.
Pushing. OK, No.
No, when I'm busting. You in my face, and you smell.
Like alcohol and like it's. It's OK, whatever we want.
Yeah, yeah, whatever we want, it's.
OK, every decent camera, right? It's all on camera.
Yeah, right. Body Cam your body cams on.
Thank you, Sir. I really.
I really appreciate it. Thank you.
That's all I need. Cheer you on.

(01:18:47):
But can you check me? Can you do something with me?
That's my whole question. No, but listen.
Listen. No, but.
So please listen to me. But listen to me.
We're 3 tops here. I'm being hanged off.
No reason because I'm a prosecutor and what you say and
prosecutor what you say. But you forgot.
You forgot prosecutor. No.

(01:19:07):
What I. Said I wonder.
I told you 6 times, yeah, I don't give a fuck.
You can tell me 20 times, brother.
And you? Forget exactly so why that
doesn't mean nothing. Over and over.
That doesn't mean nothing if I. Want to.
I'm asking you nicely. You can do it OK.
We had reports, remember. We had reports exactly.
Sir, my question, OK, do you seethe camera on my?

(01:19:29):
I just want to go. In you're trespassing.
That's I've told you that. Man, yeah, I'm so sorry.
I just want to be on with you. I just want to make hands
uncloth me and that's it. Get.
A hold of anybody charging the phone.
I'm. Calling.
You, but I'm calling up from you.

(01:19:52):
You want me to call her sister? Can I call her sister?
Yeah, your. Phone's dead though, so when
it's charged we could try but. OK.
Until then, I'm not having to keep calling so.
I appreciate. It.
Yes, Sir. Can I please have my phone, my
hands in front of me? That's it.
No then. We're doing 41.

(01:20:16):
Even if I don't do nothing, you have the right to stop me and
put me in a handcuff without no reason.
Right now you're going to be arrested for trespass after
warning me. Seth yeah.
And you have on camera, they have the that warning to me
because. We wear body cameras.
No, no, no, like the. Original time when they warned
you it was recorded on body OK. Can you show me that?
Later you'll get to. See it with your lawyer.
Yes, Sir. Yes, Sir.

(01:20:36):
Thank you so much. Turn it on, turn it on.
I just left here messing. Again, I bet you because I
probably woke it up. My what password?
My phone, Her phone? My phone is 041472, her phone is

(01:20:59):
041481. Is your name?
Elena in your. Phone.
No, no, no. In my phone.
Her sister is Elena. Elena Bunton.
Yes, Sir. Elena.
B. Alina V Yes, Sir,

(01:21:49):
one question. I have my friend he can at least
pick up him so he don't he don'tsee all this.
Who's your friend? Huh.
Who's the friend? He's the friend here, like being
honest with you like 5 minutes away we'll.
Try. OK, no, no, I just don't want.
Him. You know what I'm saying?
Yeah, I don't care. No, but being with you like I'm

(01:22:20):
trying to be just so nice. Can I just get in front of me?
No, no, it's not even like what's.
That policy. OK, OK.
Like being is just like comfortable.
I know you're trying to. It's not meant to.
Be comfortable. No, no, I know, I know.
But being. No, no, but Sir, like Sir.
No, no, but can I, can I transfer you?

(01:22:40):
Can I say something? I know it's not being to be
comfortable, but if you shoot the cameras, you you can see me.
That's my whole point. I just tried to calm her.
You can watching the cameras. If you see me that you detain me
because they told me that I'm trespassing because the camera
and they have proof. If you check it out and you saw

(01:23:03):
me, I'm trying to get everythinglike in control, you know.
So that's my whole point. To have me come like in handcuff
is no answer for that. What's the friend's?
Name. No, it's not friends.
Her sister Alina, She's not answering, I thought.
I used to get a. Friend, though in five.
Minutes. Who else can?

(01:23:24):
Who else can we? Call, OK, Can you check?
Listen. Listen to me.
You know me. You know me.
And be honest with you. What's what's wrong?
What's happening? Because I'm feeling.
I'm feeling no, no, I'm feeling I.
Told her memory. Loss.
No, we've. Already told you listen, you are
going to jail. Today, right now for trespass
after warning, you were warned not to come back here and you
were drunk and you came back. I just want to say, I just want

(01:23:46):
to, I understand me. Yes, Sir, yes.
I just want to watch this deal. Who can I call to come take your
child? Do you have any other family in
the area? No, I just her, OK.
Then it's going to be GCF so we can transport him back to the
station, yeah. I can take him back, I can't.
Let. A random friend.

(01:24:07):
Yeah, right. Take him so.

(01:24:27):
37. Dispatch, yes.
Do you have anything that's a poker

(01:24:59):
stick knee? No
any shoes or anything. Anything we want to do?

(01:25:48):
Please, please. Yeah, I just want to.
Can you just play one for me please?
Can you just please pull it up? It's our policy.
We can. We'll be off.
Soon, OK. Just go ahead and get in.

(01:26:17):
That's crazy. Are you trying to say a little
more? Yeah.
No, I'm like in fact. No, I know there you.
Go watch for it. Takes.
Take care of you, Yeah. Mr. Yeah.
See Mr. Seat. Is that seat belt in there do
you want? To pull your car around 1st.
And then yeah, yeah. Hey, buddy, How you doing?

(01:26:43):
Good. Yeah.
What are you watching? Yeah, what are you watching?
Minecraft. Minecraft.
That's cool. How old are you, pal?
So. Is my mom going to be in jail
like for one week? I don't know.
We'll see. Hopefully she gets out tomorrow
in the morning. OK.
Is my dad. Gonna have to eat her.

(01:27:03):
No, we're going to take you to the police station and we're
trying to get your aunt to come get you for tonight.
You know your aunt, your mom's sister, right?
Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah, so we're going to try and get her to come get you, OK, OK,
I. Don't know her?
Numbers. We have it in the phone here,
your dad's phone we got so yeah you OK back there, bud?

(01:27:24):
I'm just. Shaking because I just want my
mom because she's so nice for me.
Yeah, she's she's, I'm sure she's a great mom to you.
Yeah. She takes good care of you.
She takes good care of you. Yeah, you have.
My. Dad.
You have a Mr. Seat you. Got a seat on there do you want?

(01:27:45):
To put your car around 1st and then yeah.

Open it, You open the door. Can you come with me?
Yeah, you can bring your tablet for sure.
How old are you, Angelo 55, yes. Here you go to school.

(01:28:08):
Almost 6. You're getting so big.
Where you go to school? I got.
I got to kindergarten. Where at?
I don't, I don't know where he's.
Going to have to go to. School What's the name of?
Your school. I mean, what's the school?
Later, Gators? Later.
Gators. That's a school.

(01:28:29):
Cool. It's a cool name for a school.
Down in Venice. That's nice.
You keep it, OK? Keep it safe for him.
Which? One is in mate.
Which one? Which car is in which car is
where is mommy? Is that car or the one that

(01:28:49):
left? No, mommy's already left like I
said. Well, hopefully you'll be able
to see her tomorrow morning, OK?It'll only be just for one night
and you're we're going to try and yeah, we're still, we're
still going to try and get your aunt to come get you.
So I'm going to SO. Don't sleep.
With my aunt, we're going to tryto, yeah, she's not answering

(01:29:09):
the phone right now, but I'm going to send a Venice, a deputy
out to her address and hopefullyshe we can wake her up, OK, And
she'll come down and get you. But you want to get, you want to
take a ride in the police car. Pretty cool, yeah.
Take you down to the police station and then you can chill
with your iPad and and hang out for a little bit.
Yeah. Yeah, All right.

(01:29:32):
Sounds good. Here, let's go over here he's.
Going down with your mom right now.
OK, so they'll be together then. We're going to make sure you get
taken good care of, OK. Do you have the lady's name and

(01:29:58):
address? The sister.
She's in locals. She's in locals.
I. Think it's down South somewhere
in Grenada Blvd. Oh, Grenada.
It's Venice. Or no Grenada.
Grenada is like zone 90. Yeah, West of the trails.
No, no, no. It's Blvd.
The zip is 8-9 which is like. All right.

(01:30:23):
Well then we're going to send a deputy down to the house.
She has two addresses and wings, but one in locals.
I figured I'd just. Close to the yellow.
I have a rough. Grenada Ave. you said I think in
Blvd. I have to.
Go back in the She is in both. Wings and locals.
Grenada Blvd. And Northport.
That's probably it. OK, I'm.

(01:30:48):
Pretty sure but 8-9 is like North Port area, South county.
34289 8-9 is Northport. It's this area of Northport.

(01:31:10):
You just put the seat down and then put the seat belt, like
your seat belt across it. Like you just place the seat
down and then put your seat beltacross it once he's in it, you
know what I mean? So just straps him down booster
doesn't need to be. Oh.
It's a booster. Are you just?
Climbing my car here. Yep, it's safe.
It'll be fine. It's parked and locked.

(01:31:31):
Is it? Going to.
Be like. It's fine, just set a minute and
rub the. Seat belt across Yeah is.
It going to. Be parked in the.
Morning. Yeah.
Oh. Yeah, Yep.

We'll. Get you We'll get you buckled up
on the. Seat belt on.
Get you ride the police car. I know.

(01:31:57):
They do. It with these.
Yeah, but we don't have the straps for that.
So we're just going to use a like a big, big kids seat belt.
You're almost 6, right? You can use a big kids seat belt
now there. You go.
You can be sitting on the chairs.
Don't. We just hang out up here.

(01:32:20):
She's just across the street. They're just talking to her
there. Are you OK?
Are you cold? I am cold.
I'm just kind of scared because. You scared?
Because I don't like mommy goingto jail.
Well. So sometimes people just make
you know certain, certain decisions, you know, but you're

(01:32:42):
a really good boy. And what's your name again?
It's Lopez. What is it?
It's your Lopez. What's your first name?
Angelo. Angelo, here's what you need to
know. Angelo, what?
It is not your fault. Nothing that happened today is
your fault. And you're a really good boy.
OK, So that's what you need to know is is.

(01:33:04):
None of this stuff is. Is your fault if if mommy wasn't
doing this I could like get a three for my judge and.
Stuff you can get a what? My dad said I could get a toy
but but but I want a Sonic one. Yeah, but if mommy didn't do, if
mommy didn't do all of this, then then we wouldn't make waste

(01:33:28):
time. No, I know.
But sometimes people just make, you know decisions and and your
mom and daddy love you very much.
So is my dad like also here talking to my mom?
Yeah, they're just talking across the street, that's all.
Like they're like like right there or like, right?

(01:33:49):
Just across like another building.
Yeah, but we're going to try to get your.
Is it your aunt to come get you?My aunt, yeah.
I'm usually don't call it my aunt because, because everybody,
because my my my mom says another.

(01:34:12):
I have another aunt. Her name's Karina.
And and my mom always says this. This is my aunt.
I don't know if Alina's my aunt or Karina's my aunt.
I don't know. I just hear that Karina's my
aunt. Do.
You play Roblox? What do you play Roblox?

(01:34:32):
Do you have service on this? Oh well, you do.
Can you call her on this? Can you call her on this?
Your aunt? Let's try calling her.
Well, I can only call my cousin.Who's your cousin all?
Right. How old is she, 1010?
Yeah. And she lives with Karina.
No, she lives with my my Elena. And she's your aunt, and they

(01:34:59):
live in Northport. This this this is my this is how
you spell her name. Do they live in Northport?
Huh. Do they live in Northport?
She's close to her house. Sometimes the the tablet just
goes like it. It like goes my head bigger and
then it just goes like this. She's very sleepy.

(01:35:23):
Do you? Have school tomorrow, Yeah, she
goes to sleep at 10:00 PM do. You have school tomorrow.
Yeah, she goes to sleep at 10:00PM.
So what games do you play on Roblox?
So I have. I literally find Minecraft on.

(01:35:44):
It I have a 10 year old son. Yeah, he plays football.
I play football too, no? That was explaining so.
We. Responded out to Sarasota Food
and Beer at the restaurant. I guess they were there with
some friends with food and beer.Something happened where the
entire group was being a little.Over the top.

(01:36:07):
And whatever. So the bar manager, I guess,
asked him to leave. They weren't leaving, whatever.
So he wanted the entire party tojust trespass and he wanted
everyone to leave. So which was not a deal.
We got there and said, hey, justleave, Not a deal.
Is it your sister? She's very drunk, Hector.

(01:36:29):
He was very drunk too. So they were very belligerent
and but I mean, whenever they said they weren't driving.
And so ultimately they left the area with him.
They walked down the street. We got called back there like 20
minutes later and somebody said that he had Hector cut and
touched and battered your sister.

(01:36:53):
So we were there trying to figure everything out and they
were still in each other's faces, your sister and Hector.
And so while we're trying to figure that out, we're trying to
split them up to diffuse the situation.
We put Hector in handcuffs just for the time being, just to call
me now. Your sister goes just one

(01:37:16):
second, buddy. OK, one second.
All right. And so you.
Got it. And so she starts fighting us

(01:37:36):
and yeah, and she was in the vehicle with the keys when we
arrived. So she's getting AD one too.
So and then he was in the back seat and so we took.
So she's getting charged with DUI, trespassing and battery on

(01:38:00):
the law enforcement officer. Yeah.
And then he's getting he went tojail for trespassing.
So I. Mean.
In the grand scheme of things, that's not, I mean, in all they
do, we told them we're like, because they said we're not
driving, we're not driving. We're like, if you're driving
and you take an Uber, just Uber the hell home, you know, and so.

(01:38:21):
What happened at the Sarasota Food and Beer parking lot was
far more than a family dispute. Evidence clearly shows that
Hector trespassed, drove under the influence of alcohol, and
ultimately assaulted law enforcement officers.
These three consecutive acts turned a personal conflict into
a series of serious criminal offenses under the law.

(01:38:42):
From a family quarrel to a string of criminal acts, the
incident at Sarasota Food and Beer stands as clear proof that
mistakes made in a moment of anger and intoxication can lead
to devastating consequences. Remember, just one reckless
decision can cost you your freedom, harm your loved ones,
and leave behind an indelible mark before the law.
