Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome into the Christmas edition of that on it. It
is week seventeen in the NFL, and when I logged
on this morning, Joe had his bells on and I thought,
oh my god, my ugly Christmas sweater is going to
get me canceled. So I can't wear that on the show.
I quickly ran over to my neighbors, who was very festive,
and she said I could wear her Rootolph. I think

(00:21):
her pajamas. I think that's what this is. Like, what
a great job I have. I get to wear pajamas
to work. Let's bring in Marco Klaus, Joe Ranieri, Seddy
Covers at least is feeling a little festive with this
red jacket. I asked Aaron Epstein to send me a
good Hanka joke so I could throw something out there.
She hasn't even written me back yet. So Merry Christmas,

(00:42):
Happy Honkah to everybody on the panel. We're gonna find
you guys some gifts under the tree, and we're gonna
start off with these prime time games Thursday night. Joe,
you are up first. Seattle is a three and a
half three and a half point favorite at the Chicago
Bears forty three and a half is the total. Come

(01:04):
on the Bears. No one wants to touch this team
with a ten foot poll.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Yeah, and I don't blame him.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
And you know what, col I especially don't want to
touch him in the first half where they have been
outscored in just about every game they have been played
since that one on Thanksgiving against Detroit. Listen Thomas Brown,
Matt Eberfluse, Marco DiAngelo. I don't give a rip who
the coach is for the Chicago Bears. They're a team

(01:31):
at this particular point that looks like they can't wait
until the season is over. They dig themselves consistent holes
early in games that they just can't get themselves out of.
In fact, we are looking at the Bears. How does
a minus ninety in first half points on the season sound?

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Only? Carolina, Cleveland and the.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Giants are worse than the Bears in the first half
of games. Now, Seattle Gino Smith well documented much better
for some strange reason, on the road than he is
at home with the Twelfth Man. So to me, this
is all about Seattle. One team clearly has something to
play for the other team does not. Here, I think

(02:17):
the Seahawks defensive line is gonna have a field day
against a decimated Chicago offensive line. I think that is
also because Seattle is still playing for their playoff lives here.
I think that's gonna prevent the Bears from any sort
of backdoor situation that might happen here.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Can't bet Chicago.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Seattle is the only way I'd look, and I would
definitely look at Seattle in the first half in this game.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Cannot blame you for one second. There Joe the Red
Nose Reindeer Marco DiAngelo aka Marco class Arizona plus six
as the opener there at the La rams up to
six and a half. I don't think we're gonna see
a seven, but the to is forty eight.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Kelly, you're mistaken. There's no Marco.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
You know.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
This is Santa. It's Christmas Eve, and I got a
busy night. But because some dumbass to the Jets last week,
I had.

Speaker 6 (03:15):
To fill in and come on this show because he
wouldn't show his face after the Jets.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
So you know, I'm a little hectic.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
So let's get.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Things, you know, going here.

Speaker 5 (03:25):
I got to get on the sleigh and you know,
get around town, oh right, you know, and.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Being in Vegas.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
You know, we got to stop off at all the
strip clubs because you know, Santa likes people sitting on
their laps.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
All right, here we.

Speaker 6 (03:38):
Go Arizona on the Rams. All right, Arizona officially eliminated.
Santa said, you guys suck, You're done. You're eliminated.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
They've lost four of their last five games, and five
weeks ago, if you remember, Arizona was in first place
in the NFC West.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
That seems like eons ago.

Speaker 5 (04:01):
But you know what, Normally I would look to fade
a team once they've been eliminated. But because this is
a Saturday night standalone game, they're gonna be on national TV.
They get to play the role of spoiler. And you
know what, sometimes when the pressure is gone, you don't
you can't make the playoffs and you are in battling,

(04:22):
you can just play loose. And this is a team
that I think will play loose on Saturday night against
the Rams. Yes, the Rams have won four in a row,
but let's be honest, three of the four games they've
scored twenty one points or less. That's a little bit
of a concern to me. And the last two games
one hundred and sixty and one hundred and ten yards passing.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
That's it.

Speaker 5 (04:45):
The Rams have trouble when they face mobile quarterbacks. Look
at this this year. Murray in the first meeting scored
forty one in a win against the Rams. Caleb Williams
four points in a win against the Rams, to twenty
three points against the Rams in a win. Jalen Hurts

(05:09):
thirty seven points against them, and then we know Josh
Allen scored forty two. They did win that game. They're
just one in four against mobile quarterbacks this year. I'm
gonna go ahead. I think this one goes down to
the wire. Arizona plus the points Saturday Night.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
All right. The guy who's bringing you all the gelt
for Honukkah and has been bringing us tons of money
all football season along Teddy covers Arion Epstein came up
with that one. So if anybody gets mad, blame her.
I had no idea this was even a thing. But
in case you want to save yourself from googling it,
it is chocolate shaped money. Did you know that, Teddy?
Have you ever given out guilt?

Speaker 7 (05:51):
Didn't know that? I have given Honika gelt in my world? Yes?

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Well, we need some more golt Sunday Night Football. Well,
this one's not that pretty, but you're gonna give it
out anyway. We've got the Atlanta Falcons. There are four
point underdogs at Washington. The totals forty eight. Teddy, I
kind of am just like in this weird spot with
both of these teams. We know that Washington prevailed early,

(06:19):
and that's mainly because they played a pretty easy schedule.
Now they're getting into the meat and potatoes, the harder
part of their schedule, and we've seen kind of a shift.
But they did have an epic comeback last week against
their divisional rival in the Philadelphia Eagles. Do you think
that means there's a flat spot here for them?

Speaker 7 (06:37):
I don't love the spot for Washington though.

Speaker 8 (06:39):
Look you're talking about Sunday night football in late December
with a chance to clinch a playoff spot. I'm not
going to call this a flat spot for the Washington Commanders.
The question is whether this point for it is appropriate
for Washington. They're only one and three against the spread
their last four as Chalk. They beat Tennessee by margin,
they lost to Dallas's favorites, they lost at Pittsburgh's face

(07:00):
favorite straight up. They only held on to beat the
Saints by a single point. I don't know, this is
a defense that we necessarily want to be laying more
than a field goal with for the commanders and all
this Washington bat Philly, Washington, Philly beat themselves. Okay, DeVonta
Smith catches the pass and Washington loses that game, playing
it simple. But the fact that Philadelphia had a backup

(07:23):
quarterback in the game and they still about thirty three
points to the backup qb.

Speaker 7 (07:27):
Well, actually the twenty one of those points games with
Hurts in the field.

Speaker 8 (07:30):
But we saw Philadelphia moving the football and if Pickott
would have been accuratey would have moved the fall. They
just scored touchdowns on drive after driving that game. But
it wasn't like the offense fell apart for the Eagles
went Hurts went down. And that's everything to do with
Washington defense. All right, this is a Washington team, you

(07:54):
know again, So Devonte Smith dropped the game when he
passed wide open. Brian Robinson lost two fumbles only twenty
four rushing guards. You don't watch your quarterback as in
your leading rusher at this stage of the campaign. Toure'
not week in week out. Sure not when you're in
a playoff game, a playoff caliber game this week against
an Atlanta team that's fighting for their lives, you know,
and yes wash his three and other last three, you know,

(08:15):
blow out the Titans. They fell asleep to beat the
Saints on a missed two point conversion last week was
the most intense game they'll have all year. And again,
when you turn the ball over five times where it's
a revision rival it's ahead of you in the standings,
and find a way to win, you are a little
bit fat and happy. But the bigger issue here is
what do we do with Atlanta? And I'm going to
talk a little bit about Atlanta later in the show,
but I'm going to leave it at this right now.

(08:39):
Michael Penix, the rookie with one game of NFL experience
in my numbers, is an upgrade.

Speaker 7 (08:46):
Over Kirk Cousins. Kirk Cousins fell off a cliff.

Speaker 8 (08:50):
Michael Pennix, if you watched him in Indiana, if you
watched him at Washington A, he could play cold weather B.
He's a very accurate passer. Accuracy his strength that'll work
against Washington. I think four points is too many. I
want the dog in this one.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
I don't blame you for what the dog in that one,
and of course, as the resident dog better, I want
the dog on Monday Night football. But I'm gonna explain
why I do not have the jingle bells to do that,
the jingle balls to do that anyway. Detroit minus three
and a half at San Francisco fifty one and a half.
If you look at the look aheadline at the Westgates

(09:29):
super Book, Lions were minus two and a half before
Week sixteen kicked off. Getting through that number of three
now up to three and a half is really enticing.
I don't know what else to say, but I have
some real issues with this Niners team, who also lost
two more defenseman last week Leonard Floyd Dray Greenlaw. If

(09:53):
these guys are not playing, I mean, keep an eye
on the reports. That's not good. This team has been
decimated all year long. And look the Lions are you
know the new Chiefs right The only team that either
of those teams loses to is the Bills right now.
Jared Goff seventeen touchdown passes, one interception in his last

(10:14):
six games, and I'm sorry, but that forty nine Ers
defense has been extremely vulnerable all season long. I don't
understand why this line is so cheap, though even still
at open cheap, it still feels cheap, and all season long,
the favorites have been cashing at an incredible rate. But
we know the sportsbooks are not trying to give out

(10:37):
free money. Except that's exactly what this feels like, an
absolute another trap. Maybe Marco's gonna use it for his
trap game today, but I want no part of this.
Look for this to be a revenge spot for the
Lions who lost last year in the NFC Championship Game.
I think that they absolutely want to put the pedal
to the medal here and exploit a very banged up

Niners team. Get Anything at Wayger Talker Sports memo twenty

Wager talk dot Com promo code Holiday twenty five. The
guy who brings us all the gold on last call,
NFL Sundays is here and he's gonna bring us some
week seventeen gold early VR. I know we're filming on

(11:42):
a Tuesday, and sometimes these guys don't get ahead of it, right.
We like to see on Wednesdays what you see early,
talk about it and confirm it on Sundays. But on
this beautiful Tuesday morning, they're in Las Vegas. What have
you seen so far?

Speaker 9 (11:56):
And with some Christmas Day games and some Saturday games,
we do have some sharp action the share. First off,
forgive the appearance it's Christmas Eve. The plan is to
shave and get ready after this, not looking festive like
I should for this video, So please excuse me, forgive
me for that. But let's get into some goals. Start
off with Christmas Day games, no surprise, no surprise, different

(12:20):
of opinion based on the key number. They laid one
and a half in won with Kansas City. And I
had another group that came and were telling me take
threes if you see Pittsburgh, get me some three if
you see Pittsburgh.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
So they like the three on Pittsburgh.

Speaker 9 (12:32):
But they like the money line on Kansas City, which
makes sense, right. Kansas City wins games. They just don't
cover the But how they're gonna win by one or two?
Who knows, but they think it a key three it matters,
and at a minus one, it looks like Kansas City's decide.

Speaker 2 (12:45):
The over over over.

Speaker 9 (12:46):
They all agree there they went over to forty one
look ahead, they went over to forty two opener, and
that's why they went over. I think forty three, I
think was the last bet. I placed little surprises because
those when it's low scoring expected those forty forty one,
forty two to forty seats, they don't usually move. That's significantly,
but this one did. Then the Lake game a lot
of money on Baltimore. The look ahead was three. That's
a key number. It did not take long to go

(13:08):
to three and a half, did not take long to
go to four, four and a half, five, five and
a half, and before you know it will be six,
we'll get to seven. That's the only question to ask.

Speaker 7 (13:16):
Now.

Speaker 9 (13:17):
I don't fall anyone for thinking Baltimore should go out
there and crush this team, but you got to ask yourself,
at what number is the ev gone? They brought it
out at three, Okay, maybe it should be four. Maybe
it should be five, but how off could they possibly be? Again,
I just got to share this. I don't think you're
making any great bet laying the six right now on Baltimore.
Move over to to Saturday action New England at plus six,

(13:40):
New England at plus five and a half and over
over thirty nine and a half forty and a half
and the last bet at over forty two, So they're
like a lot of points scored there. Also, Game four
oh two Denver Cincinnati over forty seven and a half
was the look ahead. They hit it at a forty eight.
They hit it at forty nine. We did see a
little bit resistant. It's there at fifty. That's the only

(14:02):
move as far as the totals go where I saw
they didn't just keep going in one direction. We did
see some resistance at fifty. There three sides and a
total to share for Sunday New York Giants. This one
matters because the look.

Speaker 4 (14:15):
At it was six and a half.

Speaker 9 (14:17):
They hit the seven and the seven and a half,
so through that key number they thought the Giants weren't
favored enough. And Vegas obviously should not have opened as
an underdog because they got the two taken out they've
got the money line dog money taken out. They even
took the like one and a half one.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
That's why you're.

Speaker 9 (14:33):
Looking at Vegas now as a favorite. No one I
know has laid minus money line or like minus one
one and a half on Vegas. That's been the adjustment
that was forced there. That interesting thing is going to
be do they come in the other way now and
take New Orleans at plus money on the money line.
Pay attention to that because if you get Team A
Vegas at plus one oh five Team B New Orleans

(14:56):
at plus one oh five, you make free money regardless
what happens, So.

Speaker 10 (15:00):
Keep an eye out for that.

Speaker 9 (15:01):
Then finally, Game four, twenty nine, Miami Miami, Miami from
three and a half, four and a half, five, five
and a half.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
And the under.

Speaker 9 (15:09):
So they are not expecting much many points at all
from this Cleveland team. They went under to look ahead
forty two and a half, under forty one and a half,
and then under forty as well. It's why you're looking
at thirty nine and a half at some of the
Sharper shops. It's early in the week, but as you
can see, they got out ahead on some of these games,
especially the Christmas Day and Saturday primetime games where those

(15:32):
tend to attract the most public money and they're isolated.
It's not like Sunday where the money is spread out. Because
there's ten games, you got one, two, three games, the
money's going to be concentrated. So they're looking to determine
which way this line's going to move and try to
get out ahead of it. And they got They did
it right with Pittsburgh, I mean with Baltimore, and it
seems they did it right with the total in Kansas
City and Pittsburgh as well.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
Awesome stuff from VR as always. You can catch him
every single Sunday talking the NFL on Last Car with me.
Dr give yourself a quick promotion before we let you go.

Speaker 9 (16:04):
Yeah, like I said, the last week of the college
football bowl season is what I live for right now
in December, number one in profit in college football, I said,
going in, that's what we live for. That's what we've done.
It's not gonna change over the next ten plus days.
We'll make a ton of money in college football. But
we weren't overlooking college basketball, where I'm like sixty seven
percent over the last thirty bets. We're heating up in

(16:25):
college basketball like a twenty five thirty percent ROI over
the last ten plus days. So jump on board. It's
gonna go low volume one one twenty five. Everything changes.
I've documented ten years now. Eight of those were profitable,
two of those were losing. This one was a losing year.
I bounce back after every losing year. I think that's
gonna happen in twenty twenty five. Low volume, don't let

(16:45):
it surprise you. We're gonna do some damage. Thank you
Kelly for sharing some time.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
I love you. I love you guys.

Speaker 9 (16:51):
Have a great Christmas, a bettery new Year, and again,
God bless you and your families. Thank you, thank you,
thank you for sharing some time with us.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
At Greek Underscore Gambler on all your social channels. At
Greek Underscore Gambler seven on TikTok Vr puts out a
ton of content over there as well. I kind of
thought Marco Klaus was gonna close the deli after last
week and we would see a trap game this week.
But I was wrong.

Speaker 5 (17:20):
Hey, Kelly, well, we're gonna go at least with a
better team this week, a team that's winning and still
live for the playoffs. And that's Miami. They're trying to
get into the playoffs. They're gonna need some help. They
gotta win out and then they need some help from
their friends. Usually I'm not a fan of taking teams
and must win situations, as you're generally paying a premium

(17:44):
to bet that team.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
But when a team has.

Speaker 5 (17:47):
To win but doesn't control their own destiny, I think
it's a better situation because there's not that pressure of
win in your in because you have nobody to blame
but yourself. Here, they can just go out play lou
win their game, and then wait and see what happens
with the other ones. And looking at this one, you know, Miami.
They're four and two the last six games. They've played well. Obviously,

(18:10):
this is a different team when two was behind center.
The one of the two losses was at Houston, a
game that they lost twenty to twelve, a one possession game,
even though they had four turnovers in that game. They
have a clean game. They win that win easily. Cleveland,
what can you say about them? They are an absolute

(18:31):
mess right now and this is a horrible scheduling spot
for them. They're coming off a five week stretch. They
played Pittsburgh on Thursday Night Football beat them. Then they
went the following week to Denver Monday Night Football played
that shootout in which they lost, and they haven't been
the same since that one. After the Monday Night game,

(18:52):
they played Pittsburgh twice in three weeks. Pittsburgh got the revenge.
Then they finished up the last two weeks playing the
Super Bowl champs Kansas City and then division rival last
week Cincinnati. This team is spent. They've gone to the
backup quarterback, which is actually the third string quarterback for them.
He wasn't good last week and this team they changed

(19:16):
quarterbacks because of the turnover situation. It hasn't gotten any better.
Eighteen turnovers in the last five games. That is one
hot mess. And if Cleveland's gonna show up for any game,
it's gonna be next week. They close out the season
against another hated rival, the Baltimore Ravens, and they could

(19:38):
play spoiler. Is Baltimore's battling Pittsburgh for the division title.
I look for Cleveland to save it for next week.
See what they can do against Baltimore. Miami, they'll get
the job done. Miami doesn't turn the ball over generally,
they're gonna have a clean game, Cleveland. Give me a

(19:58):
couple turnovers as Christmas present since we get to win
in the Delhi take Miami. I got him winning this
one twenty seven to sixteen.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
Marco Clause. I know you don't mind the cold weather,
but we've seen the dolphins when it gets a little chili.
Do you have any thoughts on the freezing cold temperatures
there in Cleveland?

Speaker 5 (20:21):
Yeah, Kelly, you know the weather.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
I know they've had their problems.

Speaker 5 (20:25):
They've played how many cold weather games, though now in
the last couple of years, they're gonna get the job done.
Just you know what, don't be macho. We're long sleeves.
You know, you don't have to have your arms bear
and showing how tough you are. Just put a sleeve on. Okay,
they'll be all right, Kelly.

Speaker 1 (20:44):
And it's not gonna be as cold as it was
last year in Kansas City. Coincidentally, Joe is on the
same game. And I'm sure there's an Adam Sandler quote
here about putting on your yamica, using your hama, smoking
some marijuanica. But I don't really know. I've been a
long time since i've heard that song, but I think

(21:06):
it applies here.

Speaker 3 (21:07):
That outstanding that you even pulled that out the way
you did. Like that, Cale, I'm very impressed there, But
no I am. I am gonna look at the same
game that Marco has, and I think Marco might be
a little high if he thinks the Browns are getting
to sixteen points in this game, because quite honestly, I
don't see it here it was and I believe we'll

(21:29):
talk to our good friend Art de Caesar here a
little bit later, Cal, but I'm pretty sure he'll confirm
that this opened up a little higher than this, and
it's been bent down to the under in the initial move,
and I agree with it. I mean, listen, anybody to
watch DTR in the Browns last week. Really, that is

(21:49):
not a NFL offense. And quite honestly, the Dolphins still
very much playing for their playoff lives as slim a
chance as they have. They can't go to Cleveland and
lose this game. But now the DTR is in. Let's
look at their just their last three games here, which
included a game with Jamis Winston. They have scored in

(22:10):
the last three games that combined twenty seven points. I
don't know how they're getting enough points to help this
thing go up and over Miami. Your radcal not great
in on the road this time of year. However, I
did peak at the weather. It doesn't appear to be
nearly as cold as it has been or you would
think it is. However, there's going to be plenty of

(22:32):
rain in the forecast here, and I'm sorry. I just
think the Cleveland defense, who did a great job of
shutting down the Cincinnati Bengals in the second half of
that game last week, nobody saw that coming. I think
they'll they'll have some success limiting Miami.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
But Miami's already six.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
And one to the under on the road this year,
averaging only thirty six points a game. Brown's home games
this year only average four points. But that's not what
dtr at quarterback. I don't see how we're getting to
forty points. I agree with the early market movement here.
It's just way too high at forty. I think this

(23:12):
one is thirty at best. It's probably twenty one to
ten Miami and you can call it a day.

Speaker 1 (23:20):
Sounds like a snooze fest. I can't wait to not
watch Teddy covers every week comes in and provides us
with just the tip and he's got some long shots
for us this weekend.

Speaker 8 (23:34):
Yeah, So I want to talk a little bit about
the futures right here. Obviously it's Christmas time. Everyone wants
a little gift in there stalking and we talk about
futures that could pay off at some decent rates.

Speaker 7 (23:47):
It's worthy of note.

Speaker 8 (23:48):
And at the AFC, in my mind, it's very clear
there's three contenders Kansas City, Buffalo, Baltimore, and it's about
who stays healthy and who wins the close games.

Speaker 7 (23:56):
I don't see the Texans or the.

Speaker 8 (23:57):
Steelers or whoever I'm gonna come out of the It'll
be one of the top three chalk on that side
of the equation of the field. To me, the NFC
fields very different. The Lions are vulnerable, a franchise with
no history of playoff success. Ask any Lions fan how
confident they are right now, and the answer is not

(24:19):
very And of course we all know about Detroit's defense.
We have seventeen guys on the defense side of the
football on ir For as good as their offense.

Speaker 7 (24:26):
Has been, defense wins championship. Detroit vulnerable. Philly's vulnerable as well.

Speaker 8 (24:33):
You know when you talk to Eagles fans, Eagles betters,
and they have the same nervousness that you have. You know,
they're not that confidence. You know, there's oh, we got
this vulnerability. We have that vulnerability. Certainly defensively last week.
Their concerns obviously Jalen Hurts and his health always a concern,
and we've seen Philly teeter and fall before.

Speaker 7 (24:53):
It's a young defense, you know. So if you're.

Speaker 8 (24:57):
Making Eagles Lions versus the field in the NFC, well,
you know, I think this is a you know, as
a as a theory, as a way to try to
figure out what's the right number for some of these dogs.
Eagles Lions versus field, and the NFC probably priced pretty
close to a pick up, you know, maybe the Detroit

(25:19):
Phillial slight Chalk, maybe not.

Speaker 7 (25:22):
Last week I made a case for Tampa.

Speaker 8 (25:24):
As a value team moving forward, continuing to look at
the second tier teams in the NFC, because I think
in that Eagles Lions versus the field, when your favorites
are vulnerable, we start to look for log shots.

Speaker 7 (25:37):
So who do we got?

Speaker 8 (25:38):
We got the Packers the price of the right in
the Packers, they're priced with the elites. I don't see
Washington winning the NFC, not this year with this roster.
We talked about Tampa last week. I'm going to give
to two more teams that I want to mention here.
The first probably the weaker.

Speaker 7 (25:53):
Of the two.

Speaker 8 (25:53):
That's Atlanta. They have to win the division and they
have to win some playoff games. But Michael Pennix is
an up grade over Kirk Cousins. This is a quarterback
that had enormous success just last year in college in
big games. All Right, we know how accurate he is.
And let's not forget Atlanta's roster. Every move they made,

(26:14):
this passed off sevenon during the season has been a
win now move. They are a talented, veteran squad. Atlanta's
live to make some noise. They're also live not to
make the playoffs, but they're live to make some noise
if they get there. And Minnesota, earlier in the season,
I did a stock watch saying I'm not selling the
Vikings right now. Well, here we are in December, and

(26:37):
Minnesota's real. There's no Sam Darnold question at this stage
of the campaign. We look at the Kevin O'Connell, Brian Flores.
It's a brilliant, brilliantly coached team. Minnesota two is a
team I might look to target when it comes to
NFC futures. The Lions and the Eagles, I'm not sure
they're going to get there, Kelly.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
I'm with you. I wish there was some no's. I'd
be bett no on the Eagles. I'd be bet no
on the Lions. I'd be betting no on the Chiefs.
But I'm betting yes on this barking dog this week,
and that is the Patriots. I took plus five yesterday
down to plus four. Keep an eye on the odds

(27:20):
logic screen because well, I think this one is going
to continue to drop. Kind of wondering what this Patriots
team is all about. But here's what we do know.
We know Drake May has really started to develop into
the potential future there in New England, and I do
think that he has this team wanting to play for him.

(27:42):
That is a huge key. Prior to him being the
starter there in New England, all we could talk about
was this Patriots defense, and they looked good early last
week versus Buffalo. Ultimately end up losing that game twenty
four to twenty one as double digit under and a
really good spot to kind of beat well or at

(28:06):
least cover against their division rival, and the Bills coming
off that nice win of their own. I know a
lot of people looking towards the over because of that
defense and how piss ford they've been over the last
couple of weeks, but I think that they step up
big here at home last week. We know that Justin
Herbert was a little banged up and had some mobility

(28:28):
issues and a lot of people ended up taking the Broncos.
Chargers came back late in the fourth quarter to get
the win there. I don't trust Los Angeles going on
the road here when playing well the Raiders next week,
And if you've been listening to anything else, anybody else
is saying for some reason, the Raiders just keep wanting

(28:48):
to win games and take themselves out of contention to
get a top draft pick. I don't understand it. I
am not in charge there in Las Vegas, but just
know this game is pretty meaningless for the Chargers, and
it means a hell of a lot more to a
New England squad who's I think wanting to play not
only for Drake but for Mayo again took the plus five.

(29:10):
Take the plus four. I think New England is barking
and very live, so I thought this was a typo
or Andy Lang was slacking, because I'm pretty sure he
gave out this prop bet last week. Is that allowed?
Are we just going to run it back?

Speaker 4 (29:27):
If it ain't broke, don't fix it? As the great
Joe Vernier, he says, yes, we're running it back. Caleb
Williams to not grow an interception. Nine games in a
row now without an interception, and this line has opened
up at just minus one seventeen on Caesars Kelly. This
is over three hundred and fifteen pass attempts without an interception,

(29:47):
and he gets a pretty good matchup here. Seattle only
has eleven interceptions this year. The last two weeks, Seattle
doesn't have any interceptions. This is not a defense that
forces a ton of turnovers. So we're just going to
keep writing, rinse and repeat. The books are not moving
off of this number, and we will just keep taking
this one. This is very similar to the justin Herbert
not to throw an interception, That is like twelve and two.

(30:10):
When they keep giving us these props to keep hitting
week after week after week, you keep writing it. So, yeah,
we're not going to overthink this one. Caleb Williams to
not throw an interception.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
All right. I feel like he's due. I mean, I've
been watching his Bears team and it has been really,
really abysmal. But you're right, it's not all Caleb Williams's
fault that he gets sacked forty two times a game.
Show me your Christmas sweater. I need to see this.

Speaker 5 (30:34):
Uh so.

Speaker 7 (30:37):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (30:37):
So that I was doing a live show about UFC
and we lost a bet on a horrific Judges decision,
and that was the face I made live on camera,
and one of my friends took a screenshot of it
and turned it into a Christmas Weather Christmas sweater for me.
So it's it's one of my favorite pieces of clothing

(31:00):
at the.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
Christmas sweater, well, I was gonna wear, but I did
not want to piss off some of my colleagues, so
I elected to wear somebody else's Christmas pajamas that I
borrowed from the neighbors.

Speaker 2 (31:10):
You look great.

Speaker 4 (31:11):
I love the pajamas. It's a great look. I request
every week to be like this, forget the professional look.

Speaker 1 (31:18):
Yeah, I think the comment section would have rather had
me be like a sexy Missus clause, but like, look,
I wasn't thinking ahead. I'm just not good at this,
whether it's Halloween or Christmas or anything like. I'm just
trying to live my best life and win some darts bets.
Andy Lang, Happy birthday. Congratulations on your darts bet yesterday.
That was pretty epic cashing a couple of those underdogs.

(31:39):
Tell me what you've got up over at wagertalk dot com.

Speaker 4 (31:43):
We're running the birthday special Kelly. I turned forty five,
so we're doing a seven day pass for only forty
five dollars. This is the biggest discount on a seven
day pass. If you got this seven day pass last week,
you're up twenty two units. Were the number one handicapper
of the last two years. We're up two hundred and
ten units. So short term success, we've got you covered.
Long term success, we've got you covered. This includes all plays,

(32:04):
including our five percent college football bet of the week.
It includes all of our darts plays for the World Championships, NBA,
NHL on seventeen and six NHL run and we're top
five in units gained this year at one hundred and
seventeen units, so only forty five dollars limited time seven
day pass gets all bets. Good luck on all your plays, everyone,
Happy holidays and Merry Christmas.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
Joining us every single well Tuesday this week normally on
Wednesdays for bet on It art to Caesar from the
Westgates super Book. He loves to give us a look
behind the counter art. Let's break this up into a
few different segments to see where you've got some sharp money.
Let's start with Christmas Day.

Speaker 11 (32:43):
Yeah, Christmas Day interesting, obviously really good games, games that
should see really good handle. Obviously good matchups. Games we
saw the previous week. They're just flipping the matchups. Chiefs
have seen good over money come in. That was forty
two and a half now forty four, and I think
Withs being now ruled in, that could even maybe tick

(33:03):
up another half a point, maybe even a point. We
talked last week how bad the Steelers are offensively without him.
Now they'll be obviously energized with him. Public money on
the Chiefs, but no surprise with the spread under three
there and then you've seen good raven money. Raven money.
I mean we started as low as three and a

(33:24):
half on the game. Now we're five and a half, so,
you know, the Ravens have kind of gotten back to
their you know, winning ways. These last couple of weeks,
Texans are dealing with a lot of injuries. Texas have
not been that good this year, even though they are
winning and are gonna make the playoffs, but they don't
have the same feel that they had last year. So
that Raven number has ballooned to five and a half.

Speaker 1 (33:45):
All right, remind me. John Murray came on on the
Sunday edition of Last Call. He told me, you guys
are gonna be running a promotion. Is that minus one
oh five on Christmas?

Speaker 11 (33:57):
It should be minus one oh five on Christmas. We
try are hardest on like the Thursday and the Monday
kind of standalone games to have it. I'm not one
hundred percent sure if we're gonna do it for the
three Saturday games, but for the two Christmas Day games,
especially because the matchups are so good. Absolutely running a
ten cent line, so not necessarily one oh five that

(34:21):
juice could get, you know, fluctuated a little bit here
or there, but definitely gonna be running ten cent lines
on that.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
I love that I have to say minus one oh
five just in case people are recreational betters and uh
don't always understand what a ten cent line means. Uh.
That means one could be even, one can be minus
one ten both can be minus one oh five. But
helps you shop around five cents on every dollar adds up.
And those are the types of things we like to

(34:48):
really look for when shopping for NFL games are Let's
talk about some of those Saturday games here. These are
gonna not as interesting as you would think. There's some
really ugly Do you think that's gonna affect handle?

Speaker 11 (35:03):
It's a good question. You know you have Bowl games too,
so I think it's just gonna be a day of football. Obviously,
the NFL will rule the roost as it always does,
but you look at some of these games, and obviously
some of these games have importance. The Ram Cardinal game
loses all its luster because the Cardinals have been eliminated.
They lost last week, and that's why you've seen that

(35:24):
number shoot up that was Rams as an opener of five.
Now six and a half be interesting to see if
we get to seven on the game. I think if
we ever do get to seven, you'll see some cardinal buyback,
even though the Rams have been as good as anybody
in the NFL here over these last handfull of weeks.
The Charger game is interesting as well because the Charger

(35:45):
game has seen two groups of sharps on it. You
saw early money on New England at plus five and
a half got to as low as four. Then we
saw some buyback this morning on the Chargers minus four,
so you've seen that kind of move the number back
towards where it was, so two groups there. Denver Cincinnati

(36:08):
is interesting because that's kind of like an elimination game almost,
you know, I think if Denver wins, they're in, but
if they lose, the Bengals kind of are hanging around
a little bit. We saw early three and a half
money on Denver move to the Bengals now minus three
minus one twenty. So actually the games are a little
bit better and a little bit more exciting playoff wise

(36:28):
than actually maybe we thought.

Speaker 5 (36:30):
Well.

Speaker 1 (36:31):
Also, being a holiday weekend, I think you guys are
gonna see some action. I mean, all of my friends
are bitching today on Tuesday that there's only one Bowl
game and nothing to bet on. I'm like, sorry, someone
would have to work I'm very glad there's not any
good Bowl games on that I'm going to be missing,
just for you guys there at home, all right, Art,
take us home. Tell me what we've got for Sunday Slate.

Speaker 11 (36:54):
Yeah, Sunday Slate. There's a lot of interesting stuff out there,
a lot of stuff with totals. You know, look at
the Miami in Cleveland total. That's a late December game
in Cleveland. Cleveland's quarterback situation is a mess. The Dolphins
anytime they go to the cold, they're a mess. That
was forty one and a half. Now forty probably even

(37:14):
goes a little bit lower. You would think I could
see that. So that was really good sharp money, so
short money on the Cowboys plus ten and a half. Obviously,
the Eagle situation, who knows his hurt's gonna play picket
didn't look awful, and obviously they he has the weapons
to work with with Saquon and aj Brown, and I
think Dallas coming off that win against Tampa kind of

(37:36):
helps them in the betting market. Obviously, they're gonna want
to play harder against their division rival even though they
have been eliminated. But the ten and a half was
just too much for some people, so they took that.
They took over in the Titans Jags game, which is
interesting because it's too just putet offenses. But the total
was low, thirty nine got up to forty one. Now

(37:56):
there's been a little bit of buyback on the under,
so that game's gone back and forth. Raiders have flipped
to the favorite. Raiders were one and a half point dog.
Now they're one and a half point favorite against the Saints.
The Raiders do what they always do. They screw themselves
out of a top pick, maybe top two pick, and
watch they'll win a couple of games here and they'll
end up being like the eleventh pick. So typical Raiders.

Speaker 1 (38:19):
Very typical Raiders art. Before we let you go, tell
us anything else you guys have going on this weekend
over at the West Gate.

Speaker 11 (38:27):
Well, you know, as always doesn't kind of obviously, we're
gonna have all these NFL games going are the Bulls
are going to really start to ramp up. Just a
lot of fun stuff going on, and you know, I
know this is a weird slow time of the year
around Christmas around Vegas, but it starts to really amp
up with you know, the New Year's coming up, and
obviously the playoff football that's gonna come up, and uh,
you know, as always, just come down and check us

(38:48):
out at the West Gate. And I always tell everyone
because I always get so many shout outs from these
Wager talk shows. If you want to come in, ask
for me, I'll come out and I'll give you a
couple of minutes and you know, kind of direct you
in the right way.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
Couple of minutes and a couple of drink tickets never
hurt anybody, from Art to Caesar. Every time I go there,
I'm like, they mustn'ink I'm an alcoholic because I get
a second drink this second. I'm like, you, guys, I'm
one woman. Everybody relaxed. All jokes aside. We appreciate everybody
there over at the Westgates. Super Book again dealing one
oh five on Christmas Day. So make sure you guys

(39:21):
line shop. I know these glasses. I mean, it's time
to talk to Ralph Michaels. But first I wanted to
tell you guys about some line shopping here with Odds Logic.
Right now, go to oddslogic dot com backslash Kelly in Vegas.

(40:07):
the side, because well, I don't have access to that book.
But it is always nice to be able to see
all of the lines in all of their glory with
appropriate color coordination. Don't wait start winning more bets right now.
Oddslogic dot Com backslash Kelly in Vegas. It would appear
the stab Daddy is not feeling festive. Must be too warm.

(40:29):
In Florida, Ralph Michaels coming in with some TNA. Merry Christmas, Ralph,
what have you brought me as a gift?

Speaker 10 (40:38):
You know what, Kelly, I've been traveling around so I
don't even have an ugly sweater to pull out. It's
all in the storage still in Vegas, So that's my excuse.
I wasn't going to buy an ugly sweater to wear
it for fifteen minutes on a show. You know, I'm
going to go to a situation here that I really liked.
I'm going to back the Carolina Panthers against the Tampa
Bay Buccaneers form my NFL game, Kelly, I think I

(41:02):
know your name by now, you know, and people always say, oh,
Tampa Bay has playoff need they lost to Dallas. Well,
to me, that has just added pressure and it's actually
not a positive. It's actually a negative, not a positive.
Campa Bay is now the biggest tone favorite they've been
all year because of that playoff need in that Dallas loss.

(41:23):
Remember they control their own destiny, but now they've lost
both games to Atlanta with the same record, so they
need quite a bit of help. Caroline is the team
I like to back playing well down the stretch. We
know this season started off in turmoil. You go all
and two to start the season. Then maybe you go

(41:43):
to Andy Dalton, he starts a few games, you go
back to Bryce Young. He came back against the Denver game, well,
this Carolina Panthers team started off one in seven straight
up in ATS, with an average loss of eighteen point
four points per game. Since they've gone three and four

(42:03):
straight up, and they've gone six and one against the spread,
and they are a perfect six and OATS as an underdog,
covering by eight point one points per game. And it's
quite a bit different when teams are playing down the stretch.
If you have a young quarterback and a first year
head coach like Dave Canalis and you start playing better

(42:25):
down the stretch, I want to back you. If you're
a team, let's say the Browns that have you know,
are are an experienced team with an experienced coach, and
they know they're not really playing for much. Those are
the teams I look to fade in that role, So
two different situations. I look at Dave Canalis as the
head coach. Remember he was the Tampa Bay OC last year,

(42:48):
so he's very familiar with Baker Mayfield. And I'm sure
he spent a lot of time with the defense this week,
helping him with some of his tendencies. Tampa Bay as
hot offensively as you're going to get four straight games
over four hundred yards and if you think that's a positive,
it's not. Last week they played Dallas, they had nine

(43:09):
hundred or more yards in their previous two games than
they lost. Well, guess what they're in at the same
situation again, a home team that is totaled at least
nine hundred yards their last two games and their opponent
is off a win, are only nine and thirty three
against the spread. That is twenty one point four percent

(43:29):
or a seventy nine percent fade. Only four previous times
did that team lose as a favorite the week before,
and those teams have gone zero to four against the spread.
And then we look at another situation, if the team
is off a loss as a favorite and the opponent

(43:50):
is off a win as a dog, and that team
is now a single digit home favorite, only fifteen and
thirty one thirty two point six percent. Yes, Carolina maybe
one in five their last games, but we've seen a
great progression as they finish off this season strong. Would
it surprise me if they pull the outright upset?

Speaker 1 (44:12):
Ralph Klaus gonna bring my opponents and survivor some losers,
because both those guys already looked. Ralph, We'll be on
Tampa Bay this week. I love to hear that that
sounds like a wonderful Christmas gift. Before we let you go,
can you tell everybody what you've got up over at
padrotalk dot com.

Speaker 10 (44:32):
Well again, I have one teaser loaded so far this
week NFL teasers on a twenty and four run, I
am four and Zerom Bowls. I'll be loading a few
more plays this week. We've got some great sight wide specials,
and guys, remember we've never done this before. From Christmas
Day through New Year's Eve, fill your cart twenty five

(44:54):
percent off every day from Christmas to New Year's Make
sure you take advantage.

Speaker 1 (44:58):
Starting Christmas Day, you guys are looking for some more
TNA from Ralph, make sure you guys check out the
College Football edition to bet on it, as well as
Ralph's Twitter at CAW Sports LV. You can also catch
him on the wager Talk Instagram. Okay, guys, we're gonna
get right into it those best bets. You guys know

(45:21):
we're bringing you all the gifts, all right, Marco Klaus,
give me your best bet for NFL Week seventeen.

Speaker 5 (45:32):
All right, Kelly, We're gonna head to the AFC Big Game, Denver,
at Cincinnati, and Cincinnati is gonna be a popular side
this week. Everybody loves teams that can score, and well,
Cincinnati and Joe Burrow can do just that. They've had
seven straight games scoring twenty four or more points, and

(45:53):
they've topped thirty four or more in four of those seven.
The problem is Cincinnati has allowed twenty four or more
in five of those seven games. Cincinnati's won three in
a row, but beating Dallas, Tennessee and Cleveland, three teams
with a combined record of thirteen and thirty two, just

(46:14):
doesn't impress me. Denver controls their own destiny. Is if
the season ended today, they would be in the playoffs.
Denver has the better defense, and as I always say,
give me the better defense getting points, I'll take it
every time. And speaking of points, the Denver offense has
been clicking last five games. They've scored twenty seven or

(46:37):
more in all five games. We also see that Denver
is six and two against the spread on the road
this year. Denver last three years eight and three against
the spread on the road following a loss. And if
they're playing back to back on the road off of
a loss, they're a perfect four to zero against the spread.

(47:00):
Gotta throw into coaching edge with Sean Payton in this one.
I'm gonna go ahead and take Denver h plus the
points in this one. It's gonna be a fun game.
I think at the end of the day it's Denver
that escapes with the win. So Denver plus three and
Santa says, a little sprinkle.

Speaker 1 (47:19):
Santa sprinkles, Joe Vernieri, your best bet for this week.
Give me a little bell shake note. Okay, drum roll,
never mind, all right, there we go, There we go.
Let's get hyped. We need, we need some best bets
to cash. Keep it rolling from last week.

Speaker 2 (47:36):
All right, let's keep it rolling with last week.

Speaker 3 (47:38):
We're gonna go to the game that the NFL is
already flexed because they realized nobody gives a crap about
Dallas and Philadelphia. Sorry Dano, but that's the reality. Dallas
and Philadelphia one o'clock. Send the Vikings and the Packers
to the four o'clock game.

Speaker 2 (47:55):
Where it belongs.

Speaker 3 (47:57):
And quite honestly, I know it's kind of crazy to say,
but I really, even after watching them play a Division
two college team last night in the Saints, I'm really
not sold on the Packers just yet, call me crazy,
it would appear that they have a problem playing the
better teams, certainly the better teams in their division. Let's

(48:18):
if you recall here they're eleven and four, but they
have played four games this year against teams that currently
have ten wins a more, and they've gone zero to
four in those games. Here, they're ten to zero against
anybody else that has nine wins or less. But when
it comes to the Vikings this year, when they already

(48:39):
beat them in Lambeau, and you may recall that game
was twenty eight to nothing at halftime. In Week nine,
they lost to the Lions, they were trailing twenty four
to six before the third quarter was even over. And then,
of course, a couple of weeks later in Week fourteen,
they lost to the Lions again in a game where
they were behind ten nothing.

Speaker 2 (49:00):
At the half.

Speaker 3 (49:00):
Now, call me crazy, I'm seeing a pattern here against
the better teams that they face, and the Vikings are
certainly one of those teams. If the Vikings can go
to Lambeau and handle the Packers there. Now, mind you,
that was the first game back for Jordan Love from
the mcl strain.

Speaker 2 (49:18):
He was a little iffy there in the first half.

Speaker 3 (49:21):
But this Vikings defense surrenders I believe the fourth fewest
yards in the air to quarterbacks. I believe they're going
to have no problem limiting the Packers on the ground.
I think points are going to be tough to come by,
and quite honestly, I think, and I am sold, I

(49:41):
think this Minnesota team is real. Listen, Sam Darnold, in
four years with the Jets won a total of thirteen games.
He's won thirteen games in his only season as the
starting quarterback with the Minnesota Vikings. He's not turning into
a pumpkin. I hate to break into people anytime soon.
I like Minnesota at home. They're very much alive for

(50:02):
the overall number one seed in the NFC. They got
Detroit coming up. I think they handled business here against
the Vikings, especially since the Vikings and I know it
was a blowout, but the Packers short week, guys, they
played Monday night. This will be a short week for
them and they've got to travel on the road to Minnesota,

(50:22):
like the Vikings, to get it done here and have
a shot at taken down Detroit next week as well.

Speaker 1 (50:29):
Oh boy, Vikings on the money line, for Joe Ranieri,
Teddy Covers. Tell me who you like and who we
should be betting on for Week seventeen.

Speaker 8 (50:39):
Well, let's talk a little Monday night football. That sounds
like fun and hopefully we can get you a winner
with this one. The Lions and the forty nine ers
looking at the free wader talk live on screen right now,
there's as low as minus three for Detroit, as high
as minus four for Detroit, total sitting in the fifty
and a half range as we speak. And make no

(51:01):
mistake about it, the books are going to get buried
with Detroit money for this Paul game, all right, So
they will be rooting for San Francisco pretty hard. And
we look at what's happened over the last couple of weeks.
All these single event games have been favorite covers, you know,
Green Bay minus fourteen covers Saturday, Kansas City minus four

(51:24):
versus Houston covers, BALLPA minus seven versus Pittsburgh covers. The
Chargers won and covered last Thursday, Minnesota ver Chicago, Atlanta
vers Vegas. The previous Monday, Green Bay ever Seattle, the
previous Sunday. It's been all chalk all the time in
these national TV games, and we know that Detroit is
going to be the popular choice. San France won in

(51:45):
five straight up their last six games. The only win
came against the Bears. It's a veteran team with championship
paspirations and now they're just playing out the string. I
did not like the forty nine ers fourth quarter at
Miami last week, when things went south, they went south
and again. Eleven penalties for ninety yards. The defense had
no sacks and allowed one hundred and sixty six rushing yards.
I'm five point five yards per carry, and that stands

(52:09):
out to me, all right, because San Francisco Super Bowl
contenders every year, elite teams every year, elite defense every year.
When your defense has no sacks and gives up five
point five yards for carry one hundred six six rushing yards,
that tells me you've.

Speaker 7 (52:23):
Mailed it in a little bit.

Speaker 8 (52:25):
And of course they've lost straight up on this field. Arizona,
Kansas City, Seattle. The Rams are just two and four
the last six tries, and favored in every one of
those ball games. They're not favored anymore. The Lions two
losses both came at home. There's seven or oh straight
up on the Highway. They did a three point win
a Green Bay at two point win in Minnesota. Every
other road wins come by a touchdown or more. But
Detroit's defensive injuries are very real.

Speaker 7 (52:47):
All right.

Speaker 8 (52:48):
We saw Caleb Williams march the ball up and down
the field, and I know it was a blowout.

Speaker 7 (52:52):
Game and Detroit was in control.

Speaker 8 (52:54):
But Detroit's defense is not a top tier unit at
this stage of the season. When you face a broken
team and still get picked the part through the year,
that's a concern. So over here the preferred play as
opposed to Detroit. Don't trust the Lion's defense, don't trust
the Niners defense. Put it together, and let's expect points

(53:15):
on Monday night.

Speaker 1 (53:17):
That sounds like a way better way to go than
betting against Dan Campbell and or laying three and a
half on the road in a game that does not
matter for one team outside of revenge. Okay, guys, I'm
not overthinking it this week. I'm gonna lay the eight
with the Indianapolis Colts. I know I almost much myself
on social media this week. I blame John Murray for

(53:39):
that one. He agreed with my play and it was
smooth sailing until I well put that tweet out. But
bottom line, we're betting against the Giants who are on
a ten game losing strength. They have been outscored by
over thirteen points a game in that same ten game
losing streak, and they covered one point spread during that

(53:59):
time at home against the Saints. That's it. This team
is not good. I'm pretty sure they waved the white
flag on the season a long time ago. Anthony Richardson,
I was big on his bandwagon last year. He got
hurt in the very first game, but this season he's
had a little bit of struggles. They did not come well,

(54:22):
they didn't come easy last week. He only attempted to
eleven passes last week versus the Titans. But what did
they do? Exactly what I said they were gonna do.
They were going to run the ball with Jonathan Taylor,
and boy oh boy, did they run all over that team.
They're gonna do the exact same thing against the Giants
defense this week. And I don't think lay seven and
a half is the wrong answer here. And I also

(54:44):
think the Colts are an excellent teaser spot because they
were winning that football game. Hopefully they can win a
couple more games, and well, let's see if see if
the Texas can't lose a couple, We'll just leave it
at that. I'd like to catch a few more futures
bets before Week eighteen starts. Marco Claus, Joe the Red

(55:05):
Nose Reindeer, and I can't think of a good joke
for Teddy right now. Aeriel ops and was supposed to
just send me all of the jokes. And I listen, guys,
I'm from Kansas. What do you expect from me? As
I sit here in my Christmas pajamas? I want to
wish all of you and your families a safe and
happy holidays. We'll be back next week. I haven't figured
out if we're filming on New Year's ever New Year's

(55:27):
Day yet, but as soon as I know, you guys
will be the first to know. Good luck this week,
and we'll see you guys on wager Talk's Last Call
for all of that late breaking NFL information.
