Speaker 4 (00:57):
The Wandering Dog returns. I'm back man, what's going on?

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Talk about that? How was your trip? It was great.
It was great for the Guardians. It was great. When
see I had to come back to the six to
soh three, the Guardians came back to Cleveland and you
know what, they decided to do the same thing they
did in Tampa. They took three out of four from
the Kansas City Royals.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
I'm excited to get into the power rankings because I
think you're going to actually be surprised at woo, that's
what it is. But I don't think it's a good
surprise for you.

Speaker 5 (01:26):
Of course it's not right interestingly, but I'm excited.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
I was surprised.

Speaker 5 (01:30):
I'm excited to get into the power rankings.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
I know that we have, you know, discussed that you
went down to Tampa, but we haven't really gotten into
it yet. Jade Dogg of course, taking a trip down
to Steinbrenner Field, right, how was how was it?

Speaker 1 (01:46):
It's not a big venue, it's a minor league venue
for a reason, and they're only going to do it
this one year. And when I was there after the
second game, I'm like, yeah, I got a feeling as
to why that is. And you got to see again
it's it's still they're playing major league baseball there.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
There's still it's still the best baseball players like in
the world.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
R You're not gonna there's not a higher level. Sorry
for Savannah Bananas. And when I was there too, you
could see the outline of the upper bowl part of
Raymond James Stadium where the Tampa Bay Bucks play. They
have yet to play a home game in the regular season,
because I know they're on the road this week the
Monday night football double header. Yes, next week. I believe
Week three as their first game of the season. That's

(02:27):
gonna be insane.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
That is, that's gonna be crazy.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
I know that. Raymond James, me and you talked off
off Mike obviously off air, talking about you know, your
experience going down there. I got to go down there
and see the stadium.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Well, we might have actually talked about that on a
certain edition of the playback, which may air this Monday.
I'll true find out that's true. We're going to talk
more about that, of course.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
And we've got a lot to break down. But before
we get into it, let's let's play some clips. We're
gonna break it up. Jay Dog went down to Tampa,
so he's gonna we're gonna play some audio now of
him down there. We're gonna play game one and two,
and game three and four will play later on in
the show. We're gonna break it up so we don't
hit you with too much audio all at once from

(03:07):
one trip. So here we go with Jade Dogg in Tampa, Cleveland.

Speaker 6 (03:10):
Guardians, Tampa Bay Rays.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
I'm at Steinbrinterfields, the only year they're gonna have Major
League Baseball. Here Steinbrenner Field, it's the Guardians Rays first
of a four game series. It's crucial. I'm here all
four of these games. I'm gonna check back here in
the sixth inning. We've now reached the sixth inning. The
Tampa Bay Rays have a two to nothing lead over
the Cleveland Guardians, and so far the Guardians don't have

(03:32):
a hit. Stephen Kwan hoping to end that streak here
in the top of the sixth inning here in Tampa, Florida,
where it's game one of the crucial four game series
between the Guardians and the Tampa Bay Rays. I will
talk to you after the game. Hopefully the Guardians will
get the win. Tampa Bay Rays defeat the Cleveland Guardians
four to two in the first game of a crucial

(03:54):
four game series.

Speaker 6 (03:56):
Here today in Tampa. It rained in the ninth inning.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Ramirez hits a lead off holm Ronnie also ended the
no hitter in the sixth inning to make it four
to one, and then another solo shot brought Kyle Mansardo
made it four to two, and all of a sudden,
Pete Fairbanks was not looking so good.

Speaker 6 (04:14):
The Guardians struck.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Out though thirteen times in this game, and Ley los
four to two.

Speaker 6 (04:21):
Terrible loss for them.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
The second game of the four game series is at
the same time Tomorrow Knights seven thirty five BM Tomorrow
Knight in Tampa here at Steinbrenner Field. Final score Tampa
Bay Rays for Cleveland Guardians two.

Speaker 6 (04:35):
I'll check back with you on Friday.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
It's going to be City connect night for the Tampa
Bay Rays as I go to the second of four
games in this crucial four game series between the Cleveland
Guardians and the Tampa Bay Rays. Game two Guardians at
the Raise, Game two of the four game series.

Speaker 6 (04:54):
Guardians lost it last night.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
They're opening to get back at the win callum tonight
in Game two of the four game series. Here at
George Steinbrenner Field in Tampa. The birthday Boy Steve Kuwan
leading off. I'll check back with you. After five innings,
no Guards. Top of the sixth inning. The Cleveland Guardians
have a five nothing lead out on the Tampa Bay
Rays in the second of four in the four game series.

(05:18):
A crucial one at that for both the Guardians and
the Rays. You know, a wildcard spot is on the
line here since the division looks like it's out of
reach for both clubs respectively. Right now, the Guardians five
nothing lead. Now on the top of the sixth inning.
I'll check back with you to see if the Guards
can get the win. The Rays can't shake it off
tonight as they are defeated by the Cleveland Guardians seven

(05:41):
to one. And Gavin Ruins was dil he was Austin tonight.
Great hits from Jose Ramirez, the birthday Boy Steve Kwan
also all run by Austin Hedges Heggi.

Speaker 6 (05:53):
He n't usually do that, but it's great when he does.
Seven to one.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
The Guardians win this one. This is the second game
of the four game series. Tomorrow night is game three.
They're gonna be the Devil Rays tomorrow night and let's see.
The Guardians will take on the Devil Rays tomorrow night
at seven o five pm here at Steinbrenner Field. This
is the This tonight is the second game of the
four game series. The Guards win it. They tie up

(06:17):
the series. Tampa won the first one. Tampa Bay and
Guards win this one tonight, all right. Game three of
the four game series Tomorrow night, when they are at
the Tampa Bay Devil Rays seven five at stein Brenner Field.

Speaker 5 (06:30):
Yeah, dog, so the Guardians took three out of four.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
They did, and uh, I know we you we might
not have you might not have set it in the
video yet.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
But you did get to meet one of the pitchers,
didn't you?

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Later on I did.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
Yes, we haven't gotten to that, Yett.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Yeah, that's part two.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
Yes, I don't want to. I don't want to give
way too much to make sure you stick around for that.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Part one though, what's not in there? So I got
to meet Raymond, the Tampa Bay Ray's mascot.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
Oh that's cool.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
I'm a high five and everything.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
Yeah, that's awesome. I'm a big fan of the mascots.
I uh, I did random, but I opened up a
drug store for the company that Jay Dogg and I
work for. Ye, and I got to meet the mascot,
which was fleming a giant piece of flem for this
for this, No, I did, Actually I did take a picture.

(07:17):
It's up on Uh, it's up on our country station's website.
It is on the Wolf check.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
That out, you know, I'll check that out. And you
know I have an affinity for affinity for mascots too,
and I want at the folks know that down the line,
we are going to have mascot plush toys during the playback.
During the social media portions.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
Of we Yeah, we like to film, uh we you know,
if you're a true Bethead and you follow us on
social media, we film the bet This epic editions that
we do every week. We we film that as well
as the playback. We like to make sure that we
give you an insight on what we're doing and what
it's like to be here, uh, you know, yelling at

(07:59):
each other going over sports stuff like that.

Speaker 5 (08:00):
So we j I don't know, Jim bocho Man meets
Tony Romo and here we go.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
Yeah, we've been We've been going over that. That's been
all good and fun. I'm actually trying to look for
the stacks and I'm not seeing the stacks today.

Speaker 6 (08:15):
J dog.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Oh no, maybe they ended it.

Speaker 5 (08:18):
Yeah, to go over the news the stacks.

Speaker 6 (08:20):
I know.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
One of the news is that the w NBA playoffs
and we are gonna make picks on that for Sunday.
It's gonna start Sunday. Yes, this is the new breed
essentially of the WU NBA from a position standpoint, like
the first round is now a best of three, the
second round is a best of five, and the w

(08:40):
NBA Finals is a best of seven, so you get
three five, seven, And also I like that. What's also
new is that we're gonna be guaranteed a non rematch
from last year of the wu NBA Finals in the
WUNBA Finals because if the Minnesota Links and the New
York Liberty advance, they're in the same bracket, so they

(09:03):
can't they'd have to meet in the next round. They
can't meet in the.

Speaker 4 (09:06):
Yes, so we're guaranteed to get in at least a
new matchup this year in the finals for the w
NBA repeat match. Maybe not a new champion, but we
won't have a repeat matchup this year. Some other big
news going on earlier this week, the Packers beat the Commanders.
They look incredible, they look super they look really good.

(09:28):
It's scary the well and everyone's like, you know, they
only they were people. They only added Micah Parsons.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
And what they need exactly.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
Well, you think about this, right, Michaeh Parsons, the impact
he has on the Packers. Yeah, he's only a pass rusher,
but now if he's getting to the quarterback faster, that
fat that quarterback has to make a decision faster, which
means he has to throw it out to the corners.
And yeah, maybe Green Bay doesn't have the best secondary,
not that they have a bad one. Xavier McKinny was great, right,

(10:00):
But like now, just because of Micah Parsons making that
quarterback throw at maybe one two three seconds faster, now
the defenders have a better chance at making a break
on the ball reading the quarterback's eyes because he has
to make a quicker decision. It's just it that one
player makes such a huge impact on the defense.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
And last and that last game that we talked about
with Washington Green Bay, it makes all the difference because
there's familiarity because Micah Parsons knew that Washington offensive line. Yeah,
and he knew how to sack Jade and Daniels because
he did that a couple times last year when he
was with the Dallas Cowboys was persons. So there was
a little bit of a familiarity right there when it
came to Washington and Green Bay. Do you know the

(10:40):
last time Washington beat Green Bay in the state of Wisconsin,
Because there were times where they played in Milwaukee and
Green Bay where or excuse nineteen eighty six.

Speaker 4 (10:49):
Woo, that's a long time ago that that feels like
that was the last time Washington was competitive.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
Not since the early nineties.

Speaker 4 (10:57):
Yeah much.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Yeah, so that was the oh Gibbs era. Why but
they want that back. Yeah, not to say that they're
not treading heading in the right direction, because they are.

Speaker 5 (11:06):
And we've also got a bunch to break down today.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
On top of the NFL JDA, we're going to go
over your top twenty five in college football, We're going.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
To go over top twenty five matchups as well.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
We'll go over the MLB Power rankings today, We're going
to go over NASCAR. We've got, as we alluded to,
the w NBA playoffs that we're going to break down.
And we've got your Sunday slate ls no Rouku Roku
No Roku City game.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
I think I know why that is why n f
l oh, Yeah, that makes sense.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
That checks out. There is Sunday Night Baseball though, yep,
we're we still got Sunday Night Baseball, and it's a
it's the biggest rivalry in sports, one of the biggest rivalries.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
So is North Carolina.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
Yeah, yeah, that's Sunday Night baseball. Okay, we're going to
get into it. Let's get into college football first. I
think bet this is for entertainment purposes only. Always gamble responsibily,
and never wage you more than you're going to afford
to lose. Our advice is not a guarantee of success.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
You're listening to Bet this a production of the Pulse
podcast network.

Speaker 4 (12:15):
It is college Football Time Dog and what better way
to kick it off than with the Top twenty five.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
From twenty five to one. Here are the rankings for
this week.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
So your Top twenty five for college football AP Top
twenty five the Missouri Tigers taking the bottom spot at
twenty five, Auburn above them at twenty four, Michigan Blue
falling back to twenty three, Indiana.

Speaker 5 (12:40):
At gab falling Texas Tech at.

Speaker 4 (12:42):
Twenty one, Utah at twenty, Alabama at nineteen USF, the
South Florida Bulls jumping up into the mix at aam.
They've had a great season so far overall, and they've
got another good game. We're gonna preview here in a minute.
Ole miss at seventeen, Texas a and at sixteen, Tennessee
at fifteen, Iowa State at fourteen, Oklahoma at thirteen, Clemson

(13:06):
at twelve, South Carolina at eleven, Florida State at ten,
Illinois at nine. Notre Dame falls back to eight after
their loss to Miami, right back to eth Texas at seven,
Georgia at six, Miami at five, Oregon at four, LSU
at three, Penn State at two, and Jade Doug, do
you know who number one is?

Speaker 1 (13:26):
Would that be the reigning defending undisputed champions the Ohio
State University.

Speaker 4 (13:30):
The Ohio State University.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
No issues against Grambling last week? Yeah, obviously none. Yeah.
That G does not stand for greatness. It does for
green Bay.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
It's deceiving. It looks like the Georgia G and it is.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
It is not. It looks like the Green Bay G
and it is not. That G actually stands for greatness,
not for green Bay. People think that that GSU. Well,
if it was green Bay, would there be a G?
And a B correct.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
Well, if it was greatness, wouldn't Grambling have done a
little better than that?

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Absolutely? Just a couple touchdowns.

Speaker 4 (13:58):
Yeah, So that is your top twenty five Ohio state
leading the charge. Georgia one of my favorite teams. At six,
Navy still nowhere to be found. Are they climbing up
or feeling a little slighted? They're probably climbing up, but
they haven't really faced a true opponent, right, so they
may be down the long Yeah. And this week, not
that this is a top twenty five game, but I

(14:18):
do want to I do want to mention Navy is
taking on Tulsa. They're in Tulsa. That's Saturday at eight pm,
so it's a prime time Yeah, and that's an American
Conference matchup. So that's a conference game for them. But
your top twenty five matchups. Some of the big matchups
to keep your eyes on. Georgia going to Tennessee. That's

(14:39):
six at fifteen. Georgia's favorited three and a half points
on the spread Tennessee plus one fifty five on the
money line, so they are underdogs at home. Another game
to keep your eye on. This isn't two top twenty fives.
But it's Clemson at Georgia Tech.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
Clemson's in the top twenty five.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
Right, Clemson number twelve. They fell back after lose to
l s U and Georgia Tech looks really really and
this is a conference game, is acc acc and it's
in Georgia Tech. Like if Clemson, this is going to
be a tough game.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
For a chance the field could be stormed.

Speaker 4 (15:14):
I hate what and bet heeads Georgia Tech is plus
one twenty five. That's plus money. That's a I'm taking
that money. That might be my lock of the week,
which we'll we'll cover our locks of the week from
last week as well when we get to the NFL,
because that's what we did for our locks last week.
But that might be locked out. Well, we'll we'll we'll.

Speaker 5 (15:33):
Talk locks at the end too.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
We'll go over our locks once more before the addition
is over. The tons of twenty top twenty five matchups,
you know, like teams like Texas taking on UTEP but
nothing really important. We're going to give you the big games.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (15:48):
The other one that sticks out South Florida. Again, we
pre we previewed this South Florida taking on Miami in
Miami to you, Yes, that is going to be a
tough game. But if USF wins this game, I think
they could jump into the top five. Like I think
this could be like if they beat Miami, they'll have
beaten three ranked teams in a row. Yes, and they

(16:11):
went from unranked to you know, the.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
Ranks though can be Yes, strength of schedule, there's other
factors that factor in it. Although don't and when you
said don't sleep on that.

Speaker 4 (16:21):
No, no, I think I think USF. They have a
true chance to win this and they're plus five hundred.
If you're looking for a real deep flyer, like something
to just throw a dart at, I would take USF
in this, But I too, I think Miami will end
up squeaking it out. I think it'll be a close game,
though I think USF I don't think it will be.
But Okay, USF has a good defense, you know what.

(16:41):
I would honestly be interested in Miami's seventeen and a
half on the spread.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
I don't know if they're gonna win by seventeen.

Speaker 4 (16:47):
That's what I'm saying. I might take USF on like
plus seventeen and a half just because there's no way
Miami beats them by almost three touchdowns.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
Yet's see that.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
Yeah, same. And then the only other big game, or
there's two big games left that I want to mention
in College Florida taking on LSU. Florida's not ranked anymore
after they lost to South Florida LSU and it's still
SEC and Florida was a ranked team. You know, they
had a bad game against FS or USF, but that
doesn't mean that they can't bounce right back and you know,

(17:16):
take down.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
The way to do it against the rival in the Tigers.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
And then the last game I want to mention number sixteen,
Texas A and M going to Notre Dame, Notre Dame
getting six and a half or Notre Dame favored six
and a half points, Texas A and M plus two
hundred on the money line. So those are your college
football games to look out for. Let's jump to the NFL.
I'm excited to break down the NFL. I didn't hit
my bet did No, I didn't either.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
I okay, so both of us didn't. Really.

Speaker 4 (17:41):
Yeah, I thought that I thought that it would be
I think I took the over and the points and
it ended up. If you watch the Eagles game, because
that's who I put my money on. They it was
forty one points in the first half and then three
points in the entire second half, so it.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
Was they started off hot and then cool. Though.

Speaker 5 (17:58):
Yeah, so I missed out on the over, Jay Dog,
I think you.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
Had Tennessee and Denver. I had Denver on the over,
and yes it didn't Yeah, and Denver looked bad. I mean,
their defense looked good. Tennessee didn't look good either. You know,
I'm not trying to Denver. Denver stumbled out of the Gay.

Speaker 4 (18:11):
Didn't They didn't live up to the hype kind of
what they were.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
I probably should have picked a Green Bay on that
because I had a feeling they were going to beat
Detroit the way they did. I just felt, you know what,
I'm gonna be picking the Packers to win every week anyway,
so I might as well just go outside the box
and pick something totally different.

Speaker 5 (18:26):
So we're zero and one on our locks. But don't worry.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
We're gonna bounce back, and we.

Speaker 6 (18:30):
Like seventre weeks.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
Even if we go over one hundred, it doesn't matter
because we're gonna bounce it. We're gonna hit some bets
so stick with us. Yeah, don't worry, Faith, We're gonna
get into your games for this weekend. Of course, the
Thursday games already happened, so we're gonna bounce right into
the Sunday slate. We've got the Rams taking on the
Titans at Tennessee.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
Super Bowl thirty four rematch. Oh, how the Mighty have fun.

Speaker 4 (18:49):
We've got the Jags at Cincy. I'm probably taking Cincy
in that one. Uh, Cleveland at Baltimore. Baltimore is probably
gonna smoke.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
Cleveland Ravens, by the way, or celebrate thirty years as
a team against the Browns where they had moved from
Cleveland to Baltimore. So it's almost like a kick in
the face.

Speaker 4 (19:08):
Yeah, Ki than kid kicking the sunshine. Don't sunshine, no sunshine.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
It's a kick someplace else.

Speaker 4 (19:15):
Yeah, Bill's going to the Jets. That one's a one
o'clock game, CBS. Pats at Dolphins. Patriots are actually underdogs.
Miami has beaten them eight out of nine times. That's
the game I'm taking, by the way, that's your game.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
I'm taking the Patriots.

Speaker 4 (19:30):
You're taking the Patriots there plus one ten? Okay, I'm
going to take Dogs taking plus one ten on the path.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
They're going to beat the Dolphins in this one.

Speaker 4 (19:36):
Niners taking on the Saints. Mac Jones at the Helm
for the Niners.

Speaker 5 (19:40):
We've got the Giants at the Cowboys.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
Who you taking Giants?

Speaker 4 (19:46):
You're going Giants.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
I think Jackson Dart is actually going to get into
the in the game.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
You really think they're gonna bench Russ? Yeah, okay. Bears
at Lions taking the Lions. I said I was interested
in this one. Jay Dog got upset at me earlier
in the day because he is like, there's no way
the Lions take it. I don't care, no, no, no, I'm
taking the Lions. The Steelers hosting the Seahawks. I'm I'm
taking the Steelers only because the Seahawks don't travel well.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
Yeah, if this was Seattle, I might have been a
closer game.

Speaker 4 (20:13):
Yeah. Denver at Indy, there's no way I'm not taking
the Horse Bowl. It's even Indy is even that's crazy.
I would take I take Denver on the money line
on that because there's no way Denver is gonna lose
to Indy.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
I have the Horse Bowl.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
That's the Horse Bowl, and then we have the Cardinals
hosting the Panthers Carolina plus two sixty on the money line,
Arizona minus six and a half. Cards, Yeah, cards all day.
And then the Sunday night football Vikings hosting the Falcons.
Who you taking in that one?

Speaker 1 (20:40):
Ooh Falcons, you're.

Speaker 4 (20:42):
Gonna go Falcons. I'm probably gonna jem I'm probably gonna
go Vikings. I got it. I got faith in the offense.
JJ McCarthy looked really good at the end of the game,
and he's got Justin Jefferson.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
So I'm not sold on Here's the thing. I'm not
sold on the team. I'm sold on the coach. Okay,
Kevin O'Connell is a winner. He's not getting a championship
in Minnesota, but he's a winner. Yes.

Speaker 4 (21:05):
And then one one Sunday game, I skipped over the
Eagles Super Bowl R.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
How do you gloss over this?

Speaker 4 (21:12):
Well, because they put it at the top because it's
my favorite, so I didn't want to say it first,
But yeah, Eagles taking on the Chiefs in Kansas City.

Speaker 5 (21:19):
It's uh, it's even right now.

Speaker 4 (21:22):
The Eagles are actually favorites one and a half points
on the spread. That is the Super Bowl rematch. That's
probably my match of the weekend. But my lock, I'm
probably not gonna go with an NFL bet. I don't
really trust any of these this week. Jade Dog is
going to take a lock on the Patriots winning the
two Monday games doubleheader Baby Tampa in Houston. Tampa's actually

(21:42):
an underdog on the road getting two and a half.

Speaker 1 (21:45):
I'll take Tampa Bay on that, okay.

Speaker 4 (21:47):
And then the Chargers at the Raiders on Monday Night,
the second Monday Night game. Yeah, Chargers are favorites. Money
line for the Raiders are plus one sixty five. Chargers
are minus three and a half.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
I'll take I'll take La on that.

Speaker 4 (22:00):
I'm taking La as well.

Speaker 5 (22:01):
That's your NFL slate for this weekend.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
Two seed Yeah some week huh, I know.

Speaker 4 (22:05):
I'm excited. That's football is back.

Speaker 1 (22:08):
Baby.

Speaker 4 (22:09):
Let's go uh. Let's switch it up and talk what
do you think some baseball? Let's talk baseball.

Speaker 4 (22:39):
Before we get into baseball real quick, do you want
to mention I am going to take USFU plus seventeen
on the spread against Miami. I'm gonna.

Speaker 1 (22:48):
I was freaking out during the breakup, like you can't
take Oh you mean the U?

Speaker 5 (22:52):
Yes, yes, so I'm gonna take us.

Speaker 4 (22:54):
I have Patriots Dolf Yes, Jade Dog's lock for this week,
I'll re announce them real quick. Jade Dogg's lock of
the week is the Pats at plus one ten. That's
a plus money line lock. If you miss make sure
you to make sure you tag Jay Dog or tag
bet this on X and let us know that we
suck and get angry at us here if you miss our.

(23:15):
If we win, make sure you tag us too and
send us a little venmo send us some money. I'm
gonna take from my lock of the week Dog, I'm
gonna do USF plus seventeen and a half against Miami.
That's minus one ten. But I just don't think Miami
is gonna win by seventeen and a half points. I
think that USF. Even if they don't win, I feel

(23:35):
like they are not gonna lose by that much. Their
defense has been incredible so far this year, So I'm
gonna trust their defense and ride with them this year
or this week. Excuse me, now, we'll get into baseball, Jadog,
And before we get into the power rankings and go
over your Sunday slate for baseball, let's give you part
two from Jaydog's Tampa trip. Earlier.

Speaker 5 (23:55):
The clip we teased.

Speaker 4 (23:58):
Where Jay Doog ended up meeting one of the players
or getting a photo with one of the players. So
we're going to play that clip now the second part
of jada r Tampa trip. Right now, Game.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
Three of the four game series between the Cleveland Guardians
and the Tampa Bay Rays. Well tonight they're the Tampa
Bay Devil Rays, the name they had from nineteen ninety
eight all the way to two thousand and seven.

Speaker 6 (24:17):
They're wearing those.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
Nineteen ninety eight through two thousand uniforms and starting off
Stephen Kwan of the Guardians, and they're looking for a
second win in a row. They won the game last night.
It's the third game of the four game series.

Speaker 6 (24:28):
I'll check back with you in the sixth inning.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
Top of the sixth inning here in Tampa as it's
the Cleveland Guardians leading the Tampa Bay Rays. Well tonight
the Tampa Bay Devil Rays by a score of two
to one. I'll check back with you when the game
is over. We'll pleae the Guardians win this one. The
Guardians win three to two over the Tampa Bay Devil
Rays tonight here in Tampa, Florida at Steinbrunner Field, and

(24:52):
the guards have now won two in a row. Steve
Kwan was clutching the ninth inning day the key base hit.
Kate Smith closed it out for the guard What you
got to say? Three to two of the final and
tomorrow will be the finale.

Speaker 6 (25:05):
I'll be here.

Speaker 1 (25:06):
It's gonna be super hot, super sunny, and a lot
of sunscreen on my base. So the fourth and final
game of this series between the Guardians and the Rays
will take place in Tampa tomorrow. So I got a
move along, move along like.

Speaker 6 (25:20):
I knew I would for tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (25:22):
Game four, the fourth and final game of the four
game series between the Clutland Guardians and the Tampa Bay
Rays here in Tampa Steinbrenner Field, the Guardians trying to
win three of four from the Rays, and Parker Messick
hometown boys just out of Plant City, is going to
be pitching for the Guards. Steve Kawan leading off, I'll
be back after the fifth inning into the sixth of
the night Bill Guards. It's the top of the sixth

(25:43):
inning in Tampa and the Rays of a one nothing lead.
It was scoreless until the bottom of the fifth when
it was Carson Williams with a solo shot off Parker
Messick who was dealing. And now the Rays of the
one nothing lead on the Guardians. I'm outside on the
concourse because it starting to rain.

Speaker 6 (26:01):
It could be arrain delay.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
We'll see, but I'll talk to you when the game ends,
hopefully a Cleveland win. The Guardians take three out of
four from the Rays in Tampa to win the series,
and now I gotta get back home for the six
to OZHO three and the next series that the Guardians have,
it's a crucial one.

Speaker 6 (26:19):
They're hosting the Kansas City Royals, who are also in
the wildcard hunt.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
That's a key four game series in Cleveland, and they
host the White Sox for three, and then I think
there's got the Tigers and the Twins after that, which
I think is both in Detroit and Minnesota. Pretty sure
it's rivals week for the Guardians for the next two weeks,
hosting and then on the road. But they take three
out of four in Tampa against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Speaker 6 (26:45):
I saw four games.

Speaker 4 (26:47):
I'm done for.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
Twenty twenty five seeing Major League Baseball East, I think.

Speaker 4 (26:50):
I am, and uh, all to.

Speaker 1 (26:53):
Right, it's been the next time I'm gonna be doing
this again, though, I'll be in Cleveland for the Browns
and the Packers in Shaye Doug Bowl eleven a few
weeks away. Parker Messic, that's who I met.

Speaker 4 (27:02):
Yeah, Parker Messick, that's cool. I had a the Fenway
game I went to who were they even playing?

Speaker 1 (27:10):
The Orioles.

Speaker 4 (27:10):
Nathaniel Lowe's like opener is his his debut? Essentially, how's
he done?

Speaker 1 (27:15):
Since he was?

Speaker 4 (27:18):
He was? He's off and on. I mean, he's he's
like any other He's a power. Yeah, he's a power.
He's not Judge well no, but that's he's an almost
like a Joey Gallow, you know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (27:29):
Like it's it's big it's big hits or nothing.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
I've told you about Joey Gallow when I met him, right, Yeah,
that's what you should have done. And just look, you
just want to acknowledge.

Speaker 4 (27:38):
Him the the trip though. I mean, that's cool. I
I wish I got to meet players. Even though I
was that close when I went to Fenway, I didn't
get to meet anyone. So that's cool. That uh that
Parker took the time.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
To hometown boil though Plant City, so it's not as still,
but that's still yeah. Yeah, no, he was the man
of the people. He pitched a great game too.

Speaker 4 (27:56):
That's awesome.

Speaker 5 (27:57):
So let's get right into it, Sunday Slate.

Speaker 4 (27:59):
Before we get to that, it's your MLB Power Ranking
Update ten to one. This one's brought to you by
the MLB, And yeah, we're gonna go backwards from thirty
to one. But we're not gonna give you all thirty.
We're just gonna give you a couple of teams. We
always go over Cleveland and Boston. Those are our two
home teams here, our favorites, so we make sure we
mention those even if they're not in the top ten.
So we're gonna go from the bottom to the top.

(28:20):
Number thirty of course is your Rockies. Bet against the
Rockies is what we'll be doing this week. Again, the
Guardians fall back to eighteen. This was what I teased
at the top of the show. Is despite beating Tampa
and winning carry there, the rankings for Kansas City are updated. Yeah, yeah,
well next week. Yeah, even I guess Chicago this weekend

(28:40):
they've got the white stude, but they went backwards. And
even the article on MLB when I read it, it
was like, uh, the Guards won three against Tampa and
then it was.

Speaker 5 (28:48):
Like previously sixteen this week eighteen.

Speaker 4 (28:50):
Is like why did they go Like why did they
go back? I don't understand. So Guardians fall back to eighteen,
but they're honestly still in the running, like they still
have a chance, So don't count them out. The Astros
are in tenth and they're fighting Seattle for their life
right now for the division. Boston in ninth, fighting the
Yankees for a wild card and going back and forth

(29:11):
with them.

Speaker 5 (29:11):
Big game this weekend if Jay Doog wants to give
us the.

Speaker 1 (29:14):
Three to ten pregame on Saturday four to ten first
pitch and then Sunday Night Baseball as we alluded to
the first part of the of the show six to ten,
pregame seven to ten, first pitch for Sunday Night Baseball,
but three ten pre game weather. It's gonna be gorgeous,
by the way.

Speaker 4 (29:28):
And that's in New York. No, it's in Boston. This
is Boston all weekend. This is their turn. Theo let's
go so the Red Sox in ninth, the Padres in eighth,
falling back from seven. The Dodgers fall all the way
back from four to seven. The Yankees are in six.
They've jumped the Red Sox. The Tigers fall back to five,
the Cubs jump up to four, Blue Jays and third,

(29:49):
Phillies and second, and the Brew Crew in first. Now, dog,
we're gonna speed run your Sunday slate of baseball games here,
with the first game of the day being Pittsburgh at
Washingt ten.

Speaker 5 (30:00):
Ooh, buccos, buckos heard.

Speaker 4 (30:03):
I've got the Astros at the Braves Stros twenty twenty
one World Series. We've got the Royals at the Phillies
Phils nineteen eighty World Series, Oriols at the Blue Jays,
a little js Ale East Battle of the Birds. We've
got the White Sox at the Guards Guards Guards. Heard
Detroit at Miami.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
Ooh, I guess I'll take Detroit.

Speaker 4 (30:22):
Kind of got to Rangers at the Mets.

Speaker 1 (30:25):
Mets.

Speaker 5 (30:26):
Heard that Arizona at Minnesota Zona.

Speaker 4 (30:29):
Heard that Zona. We've got the Saint Louis Cardinals, Cardinals
versus the Milwaukee brew crew.

Speaker 1 (30:36):
Let's see, I'll take the crew.

Speaker 4 (30:38):
Size the Rays at the Cubbies and this is going
to be the Anthony Rizzo game.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
Uh, Cubbies.

Speaker 4 (30:46):
I heard that Cubbies. I like that, you know, a
little twenty sixteen remembrance, not that you like that. But
Dodgers at the Giants. Giants, Yeah, gotta take the Giants.
The Reds at the A's Reds. Heard that Reds. The
Halo's taking on the Mariners, MS MS, the Rockies in
San Diego, Rocky, San Diego, Rother And then I know

(31:09):
you're not picking a winner for your picking on a game,
and you already know who I'm picking. We're going Boston
for your Sunday night game. That's your baseball content, and
it is time for the Lightning round bet.

You're listening to bet This a production of the Pulse
podcast Network.

Speaker 4 (31:44):
The Lightning Round. When you when we talked just now,
you told me you wanted to start with WNBA, So
I think that's what we're gonna do. Let's get kicking
right with the WNBA. The match. Me and you actually
talked about this earlier before we started doing the show
or doing bet this. Earlier today, we were talking Golden

(32:08):
State in Minnesota, and these.

Speaker 1 (32:09):
Are both of our choices for I think you think
the expansion Golden State Valkyries are going to win the
whole thing.

Speaker 4 (32:17):
I just I don't know if I believe it necessarily,
but I I've been riding with them all season.

Speaker 5 (32:24):
I feel like I got to ride with them.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
So A's the guy who dropped his pen. Go get
your right. I know, I know, I know, I know
we got number one versus number eight. Essentially, I've had
Minnesota win the whole thing because I think they've got
unfinished business from losing the the WNBA Finals last year
to the New York Liberty. As a result, I think
Nafisa Collier is going to be the wunba's MVP and
because of that, because I think she, along with the
rest of the Minnesota Links have had a really great year.

(32:48):
They're the number one team the WNBA. I'm taking them
to go all the way, so I think they're gonna
win this area. And again it's a best of three,
so it goes Minnesota hosting, then they go to Golden State,
then they come back if they need to for Game three,
and then they move on to the next round. I
like that.

Speaker 4 (33:03):
I like the I like the setup of that. Like
I like the almost like the three five seven like
because that's that's how it's gonna start. Ye Yeah, I
like that. And when I when I not to go
off topic too much, but when I was a kid
and I used to play like video games, and I
would do like if I played like two K or
like a basketball game, I would set the playoffs to
be that way, or in baseball same way. I like

(33:23):
doing like a three five seven has Like in my head,
I feel like that's how it should be in.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
Really three, five, seven seven in baseball, because you've got
the wild card win that's the best of three, and
then you have the LDS, which is the best of five,
and then you have the LCS and then the World Series,
which are seven to seven.

Speaker 4 (33:40):
Right, So I like that they do that in baseball
now obviously with the yeah, and now.

Speaker 1 (33:44):
With the w secially a wild card if you think
about it, yes, yeah.

Speaker 4 (33:47):
So uh the first game, Jade Dog's taking the Links.
I'm taking the Valks. But we'll see who ends up
winning that one. The next game, this one is a
three o'clock game, Indiana taking on Atlanta. No, Caitlin Clark, No,
what do you how do you feel? This is?

Speaker 1 (34:04):
Such? Is it at Indiana?

Speaker 4 (34:05):
It's at Atlanta. I gotta take the dream. You're taking
the dream. Okay, Dogs taking the dream. Their their favorites
on the line minus seven and a half points. So, okay,
Atlanta is favorited in that one. We've got New York
at Phoenix for your fourth game or your third game,
excuse me, five o'clock for that one.

Speaker 1 (34:24):
Oh, Liberty and Mercury.

Speaker 4 (34:25):
And the Liberty minus one and a half on the line.
So it's like a pretty much dead even game.

Speaker 1 (34:30):
Are they at Phoenix? Yes?

Speaker 4 (34:32):
Oh, so Liberty is getting one and a half out
on the road.

Speaker 1 (34:35):
I'll take Okay, I'll take the Mercury to win this game,
but I will take the Liberty to win the series.

Speaker 4 (34:41):
Okay, So you're gonna take the Mercury game one, all right?
And then last WNB game and w NBA game in
the playoffs Seattle at Las Vegas? Who you taking?

Speaker 1 (34:50):
Ooh, Seattle had to barely squeak in No Kelsey plumb
arsenal by the Way, and the La Sparks the first
year she gets there, gets traded from Las Vegas to
La Vegas has been hot. They are like.

Speaker 5 (35:02):
Sixteen in a row minus six and a half.

Speaker 1 (35:03):
I'm gonna take Vegas.

Speaker 4 (35:04):
I heard that we're gonna take Vegas. Dogs going with
the home teams in the WNBA. Let's get into Nascar.
It's a Bristol Night race this weekend.

Speaker 1 (35:12):
Kyle Lark Saturday Night.

Speaker 4 (35:13):
Yeah, Kyle, it's actually the Bass Pro Shops in that race.
Kyle Larson is your previous winner. He's been the winner
in each of his last two races at Bristol, so
good odds there. Denny Hamlin has finished in the top
three of his last four races after coming off of
a race win, and then Christopher Bell has finished in
the top five of his last three NASCAR Series playoff

(35:36):
races at Bristol. That's a very specific stat but it's
a good one to note.

Speaker 1 (35:42):
I think Denny Hamil is gonna win.

Speaker 4 (35:44):
By the way, you're going, Denny Hamlin, He's minus five
hundred to have a top ten finish.

Speaker 5 (35:48):
That's what I wanted to do a parlay this week.

Speaker 4 (35:51):
So let's do Denny Hamlin minus five hundred top ten finish.
Give me two people you think will finish in the
top ten other than Denny Hamler.

Speaker 5 (35:57):
Okay, all right, I'll go You want some you want
some names.

Speaker 4 (36:01):
We got Kyle Larson, Ryan Blaney, Christopher Bell, Chase Briscoe,
Chase Elliott.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
Chase Briscoe, Chase Briscoe, Billy Byron.

Speaker 4 (36:10):
Billy Byron, Chase Briscoe, and Denny Hamlin to make your
top ten. That's your Bristol Bass Pro Shops selections from.
And then I think the last thing we have to
cover dog is some mls and we might have a
little bit of time to preview some stuff here at
the end. We've got a big Saturday slate of MLS
matches going on. I said matches that time. Orlando City

(36:32):
taking on DC United Ordo Orlando. Heard inter Miami going
to Charlotte.

Speaker 1 (36:39):
Ooh, I'll think Charlotte.

Speaker 4 (36:42):
Jay Dog never trusts Miami on the road. It's always
when they're at home they're easy to trust, but when
they're on the road. We've got the Revs hosting Toronto.

Speaker 1 (36:51):
Toronto, Revs AA.

Speaker 4 (36:53):
Yeah, Nashville going to Cincy Nashville. We've got Columbus Crew
going to Atlanta, Crew, Montreal hosting Saint.

Speaker 1 (37:03):
Louis, Saint Louis.

Speaker 5 (37:05):
We've got San Jose hosting LAFC.

Speaker 4 (37:09):
San Jose heard that that's your eight to thirty games,
so that the times have moved on, though all those
first ones were seven thirty matches a Saturday. And then
Chicago Fire hosting NYFC YCFC. Chicago Fire heard that Austin
FC at Dallas Dallas, the Seattle Sounders hosting the Galaxy.

Speaker 1 (37:30):
I'll take the Galaxy.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
We have the Real Salt Lake hosting Sporting KC. Sporting
KC the Houston Dynamo at the Colorado Rapids.

Speaker 1 (37:42):
I'll take the Dynamo.

Speaker 4 (37:44):
We have for your nine to thirty five games, the
Philly Union taking on Vancouver Philly Union, and then the
last two matches are ten thirties. We've got the ny
Red Bull taking on the Portland Timbers. Timbers, and the
last matt of the day is the San Diego FC
hosting Minnesota UTD San Diego. We are taking San Diego.

(38:08):
Those are your lightning round picks. That does it, Jadog.
It's been a great week. I'm excited big games. Don't
forget our locks this week. Jade Dog plus one ten
for the Patriots to beat Miami in Miami, and I'm
taking USF to cover the spread plus seventeen and a
half points. It's minus one ten. Bettheads. Thank you for
joining us DOGG. You got anything for him?

Speaker 1 (38:27):
Yeah? I do. This Monday Classic Monday Night Football third week,
it's the Tampa Bay Bucks hosting the Saint Louis Rams
