here's CJ at Jdog with bet This.
Speaker 4 (00:56):
We are getting ready to do something that we've never
done before.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
That this.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
We've had over thirty shows. This is historic, I think.
Speaker 4 (01:04):
Yes, we are getting ready to wrap up the first
full season we've covered of any sport. We are going
to be witnessing the final days of the MLB season
as it winds down this weekend.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
We did do WNBA we did and again the playoffs
are going on. Yes, so the first one though from
a six month long stretch. Yes, from the beginning of
what late March right was when baseball starts now, which
is obscene, Yes, all the way now till the end
of September. At least they're consistent. They're not going to start,
you know, or they're not going to have They are
(01:39):
going to have games in October, but they're going to
be games that actually matter and count. They all count matter, right,
But like the Colorado Rockies are not going to be
there in October. No, they're going to watch from home. Yes,
they're going to play golf. Yes, they're going to have
a course and they're going to do their thing.
Speaker 4 (01:55):
Yes, probably from course. They might have to say, they
might have a game pulled up on the jumbo tron.
If anyone's taking down that.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
That ballpark is the reason why, you know, that's what's
selling the place out of stuff, the talent on the field.
Speaker 4 (02:06):
Yeah, we've got a lot to discuss. It's going to
be a great addition. Welcome to bet this. We are
very excited. As Jadak and I have eluded, it's the
wrapping up of our first full season. We've covered of
a of a major six month sports, six month sport.
We joined in the middle of January. I think we
started bet this in the middle of the basketball and
(02:27):
hockey season. We it was, you know, right after the
Super Bowl playoffs. Yeah, so we missed the NFL season previously. Yes,
so it's going to be exciting. We've got a full
jam packed edition to bet This.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
I to right off the top allude to how things
are going. I am zero in three on my locks
for bet This.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
I'm one and two.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
Jade Dog still has at least one win, but he
is one and two. And you got to witness your
lock fail in person.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
This week that I did. I was in Cleveland for
Jay Dog Bowl eleven. Not the eleventh time they've met
in the history of the franchises, the eleventh time they've
met in my life. Yes, eating all the way back
to the greatest year of all time nineteen nineteen, nineteen
nineteen eighty three. And I was there at Huntington Bank
Field in Cleveland for the Browns and the Packers, and uh,
(03:21):
you know this is uh.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
We got a little clip that we're gonna show you,
of course from We're not gonna wha well, not show you,
but you're gonna hear it. We're gonna play it. It'll
it'll be on. I don't think they'll get it.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Like in Cleveland, will they will they get this in Cleveland,
it'll be on. I don't they'll get it.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
So here's jay Dog in Cleveland at the Packers in
Browns game Chanye Dog Bowl.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Eleven between the Packers and the Browns. Here in Cleveland.
It has just started and I'll check back with you
at halftime. Go pack O.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
That's good.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
At the half on Jaye Dog Ball eleven. Here in
Cleveland it is the Green Bay Packers three and the
Cleveland Browns nothing. A lot of penalties, of sacks, not
much action going on. We'll see what happens at the
end of the game. Check back then go back go.
The Cleveland Browns win Shade Dog Bald eleven thirteen to ten,
(04:12):
but seconds to go. The Packers had a ten knock lead.
They squandered it in the fourth quarter and then field
gold with seconds to spare two seconds actually, and the
Browns win Shade Dodd Bawly level.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
I'm shocked, shocked.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
The Packers don't win this one, and Jaydam bolts balled.
Might be next year, might be a year after that,
might be in four years we're.
Speaker 4 (04:35):
Gonna find out and dog. Of course, things didn't end
up going the way you necessarily wanted it, but we
talked about it. Your you're Browns fan.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
My favorite AFC team is the Browns, right, and they
couldn't have been friendlier to me in defeat. Now if
it was the Pittsburgh Steelers win loser draw or the
Baltimore Ravens win loser. Oh, guy learnt Lamart Lamar Jersey.
They booed him out of the building. I'm not surprised
to know what was going to happen. I'm like, what
are you? What are you doing?
Speaker 4 (05:03):
I'm not surprised. We've got again, we're gonna talk football
coming up. We've got Week four on the horizon.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
We got it starting with Thursday night football on Prime
Video eight fifteen pm is the kickoff. This game has
gone to the Birds.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
Yeah, the Bird Bowl. Yeah, it's the Cardinals and the
Seahawks and NFC West matchup we're gonna have on the
Thursday night.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
We're gonna have the betting odds of that, Yeah, over under,
and we're also going to talk about spread. Also, Week
four of the NFL is gonna have some intriguing games.
Coming up. I think a lot better games this week
than last week. Last week was more about unpredictability, Yes,
and I saw that firsthand.
Speaker 4 (05:38):
Yes, we've got some NFL power rankings. When we discussed
the NFL, we'll break into We've got Week five of
college football. We're also going to discuss with the top
twenty five there and some top twenty five matchups. I'm
really excited about a couple of a couple of these
games this year.
Speaker 1 (05:53):
You know it is not excited Michigan State boosters and
or alum.
Speaker 4 (05:57):
Yeah, after watching their team lose at eleventh thirty eight,
well past past past eleven thirty.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
The game started at around that time. Yeah, not a
good Saturday. I had to say.
Speaker 4 (06:06):
They had to stay up to watch their team lose.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Yeah, they're not They're not doing too all. You might
want to check up on them.
Speaker 4 (06:12):
We're gonna also break down the MLB power rankings as
the season winds down, maybe give you some of our
thoughts on playoff predictions as well as some awards we
might you know, see who who has the best odds
to win some awards. After some big news in baseball recently, I.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
Can name you two players right now, that are locks
locks to get the awards? Who are they, Garrett Crochet
al Sion?
Speaker 4 (06:38):
You think Crochet is going to get the Si Young?
Speaker 1 (06:39):
I do?
Speaker 4 (06:40):
Do you want to know something? I checked the odds
before we hopped on the mic today. Crochet is plus
one thousand odds to get the al Sing and Scooble
is plus is minus twenty thousand, minus twenty thousand. I
thought the same thing. And I had a coworker, Brian,
one of our coworkers, up to me and he was like, oh,
(07:01):
you know, Crochet is going to win the cy Young
And I told him those odds the same thing. We're
both shocked. Can't believe that Crochet's plus one thousand. I honestly,
I'm definitely gonna put money down on it. There at
least a flyer. There's no way I'm not. I wouldn't
say it's a lock just because just just because the
way the odds look. I wouldn't say it's a lock
because it's I think it is a lock. Schoobal minus
(07:22):
twenty thousand is crazy.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
I understand. I don't know. I don't understand it. I'll
tell you why the tigers are the One of the
reasons why he has been part of the slide.
Speaker 5 (07:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (07:32):
There, he's one of the big reasons why the Tigers
have fired.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
I've not seen him pitch this badly in his career. Yes,
and the other lock cal Raley, your American League MVP.
Ivy didn't get sixty. Aaron Judge would get it. Judge
does have the batting average and he has the RBI.
But the Yankees nothing's clenched in the sense of a
division title, right.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
And the aos has been locked down.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
The official cal Rawley is making history as a catcher,
ready switch hitting as a catcher for home runs and
surpassing some guy named Ken Griffy Junior in the Seattle
Mariners home run The last time somebody of that magnitude
hit that many home runs for the Seattle Mariners was
Ken Griffy Junior. And he won MVP. Yes, and I
(08:19):
was back in nineteen ninety seven. Yes, cal Rawley getting
the Mariners places they haven't been since two thousand and one,
a division title sixty home runs. Ben Verlander posted this
on x He said, guess what, that's your MVP because
he's got sixty. The batting average isn't there, but you
know what, you know what is there? Sixty home runs,
also a division title for the Mariners, first time since
(08:42):
what like two thousand and one.
Speaker 4 (08:43):
He's crazy. Yeah, so we're going to talk all baseball.
We've got the power rankings.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
Last power rankings from ten to one. We know who's
number thirty. And we also have the last Sunday slate
because all games are going to be played on Sunday
at around the same time. I like when baseball does this, Jay.
Speaker 4 (09:00):
Dog might be able to give you an updated World
Series prediction. I think we said Nationals at the beginning of.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
See Guardians Nationals in the World Series. Clearly the Guardians said,
Jade Dog, we don't want to participate in this year's
World Series, so they're not going to.
Speaker 4 (09:14):
You don't think they're gonna You said, yeah, I thought
you said the Guardians.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
They said they told me. The national said, Jag, we're
not doing that this year. We're taking taking the year off. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (09:24):
Uh So we're gonna give you some updates there. We've
got the Ryder Cup as well, big discussion, some big
names going to be taken on some big golf matches,
and we're going to see how much flames or how
much heat can go uh can get added to that
Rory and Bryson rivalry. I feel like that's kind of
going to be one of the major storylines going into this.
(09:46):
It's almost PGA versus Live There NONPG.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
No, the PGA will not be PG if those two
get at it.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
And we've got NASCAR playoffs still going on. We're going
to recap you on New Hampshire.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
They're in Kansas this weekend for the Hollywood Casino four
hundred I believe yes, and that's in Kansas and the
playoffs are keep on going.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
Yeah, So Jade Dog, I think we're gonna start off
with baseball since it's the final week, Final weekend, and
ZIP we're gonna talk MLB. I think we'll start with
the with the with the power rankings, We're gonna go
right through it, ZIP through it. Of course. Starting at
thirty is the Colorado Rockies. We're still betting against the Rockies.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
The Rockies one last time.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
They're taking on the Giants this weekend, and then this
week is the first time we only have to do
the top ten, So let's get through it. Tigers in tenth.
Jade Dog's Cleveland Guardians have made it to the top ten.
They're in ninth. They were fifteenth, so they jumped ways.
Their Red Sox are in eighth. They jumped from eleventh,
climbing up the charts like a Sabrina Carpenters. The Ale
East is still in a full competition. The Yankees in seventh,
(10:52):
right in front of them, but they are. They have
clinched a playoff spot, so they're secured. The Mariners are
jumped to sixth. They clinched a playoff spot, Cubbies in fifth,
Blue Jays and fourth, Dodgers all the way up to third.
They flipped with the Blue Jays, Phills in second, and
the brew Crew still in first.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
Best team in Major League Baseball, the Milwaukee Brewers, they've
been good for a while.
Speaker 4 (11:11):
They have.
Speaker 1 (11:12):
Just the thing is, we've seen this before, though, the collapse.
We've seen this before. They all they look great come October,
they don't.
Speaker 4 (11:20):
They run out of steam. Look at the Warriors when
they broke the win record in the NBA.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
Seventy three and nine and they lost.
Speaker 4 (11:26):
Yeah, you can't run out of steam. You don't want
to use too much juice too early.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
So we see what happens though.
Speaker 4 (11:32):
Yeah, we're gonna talk about it, and we're gonna give
you some predictions on awards and playoffs coming up.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
You're listening to. Bet this a production of the Pulse Podcast.
Speaker 4 (11:59):
Now, some MLB awards and predictions. I know we already
talked some awards, but I want to get some world
series predictions in here. We're gonna save the Sunday slate
for the Lightning Round, so here's our award predictions. The
two candidates for the MVP for the American League Cal
Rawley Aaron Judge. I know we already said we're gonna
do Cal Raley, but I just want to update people
on the odds. Cal is minus two twenty Aaron Judge
(12:22):
plus one eighty. Now, so if you're gonna go for Cal,
do it now before the odds get you know, even
a further front, like into the negative. You want it
to be plus money obviously, but Cal is almost a lock.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
There's only been one Cal that's been MVP before, and
it's the Ripken you got it.
Speaker 4 (12:37):
Yeah, and then the National League MVP. We do have
to just let people know. Show Hayes minus twenty thousand
to win National League.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
I Swarve was having a better season.
Speaker 4 (12:48):
Schwarber is plus nineteen hundred.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
He is.
Speaker 4 (12:50):
I think if he hits sixty, maybe there's an argument,
but I don't think he will to sixty home run hitter.
I an't think that's going I know, but he's close.
He's got what he's get it. He's got what fifty
five home runs or fifty six like he's.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
Got well, he's nearing sixty.
Speaker 4 (13:05):
Yeah, he's close.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
Well, unless he does that three or four. He's done
this before. He could hit three in one night, four
and one night. You know, he could do it like
it in the All Star Game. Hit a bunch of
bombs and they not count for anything. Yeah, pretty much.
Speaker 4 (13:17):
So if you want to throw a flyer on Swarbery's
plus nineteen.
Speaker 1 (13:20):
Hundred, throw a flyer on Schwarzz.
Speaker 4 (13:22):
Okay, that's Dog's flyer of the week. Yes, and then
to the cy Young again, Scooble minus twenty thousand odds.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
Don't get this. This has got to be updated.
Speaker 4 (13:31):
Crochet plus one thousand. I mean, pull your pull your
bookie app out, whatever you use, and put money down now,
because it's not gonna get it. It's only gonna get
worse for school, like Crochet's odds will get better, is
what I mean. I think Scoble is not gonna win.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
I agree with you.
Speaker 4 (13:48):
I think Crochet deserves it, if anything. And then the
National League Cy Young, do you have a winner there?
At a prediction at all?
Speaker 1 (13:54):
I don't know if Skeins is gonna get this. Is
he the favorite?
Speaker 4 (13:56):
He's the favorite, he's minus twenty thousand as well.
Speaker 1 (13:59):
This is a Jake de gram situation where he's.
Speaker 4 (14:00):
Won tens, not even a no no.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
But in twenty eighteen, Jake the grama of the Mets
won what ten games? Yes, he got sign On award
because he had a low ERA.
Speaker 4 (14:09):
Yes, strikeouts, yeah, but that's I kind of agree with that.
Just because Schoobl's on a bad team, it's hard for
him to get wins. Like if he has a low
year ring or that's what I meant Skeens. I don't
know why I said Schooble. Well, you know, Schooble looks
like he's on a bad team too, But Skeens, he's
on a bad team. So having a low r it's
a good representation that he's good, but the team around
(14:31):
him is not.
Speaker 1 (14:32):
That's why imagine, don't don't punish him, punish the pirates.
Speaker 4 (14:37):
Yes, okay, yeah, so I think Skeens will get it.
Sanchez is the second option at plus fourteen hundred, and
then Freddie Peralta at plus four thousand.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
Do any of these players have do any of these
pitchers have wins?
Speaker 4 (14:48):
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
So this is not a good year for the National League.
Speaker 4 (14:52):
And then the last thing I wanted to ask you
real quick, the Guardians. I'm gonna just let you know
their plus thirty five hundred. You obviously have them as
your World Series.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
Oh I the science guy, science rules.
Speaker 4 (15:03):
Red Sox are plus twenty five hundred to win the
World Series right now. If you had to pick a
National League team, because obviously the Nats are not in
the race anymore, if you had to pick a National
League team to win the World Series?
Speaker 1 (15:16):
Who would you pick win the World Series?
Speaker 4 (15:18):
Imagine the Guardians lose. They make it, but they lose.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
Oh, I don't want that to have don't don't you
put that on the Who do you think if they
don't go, if they don't go, if they don't go? Okay,
all right, I have two, the Milwaukee Brewers and the
San Diego Padres.
Speaker 4 (15:32):
Okay, the brew Crew are plus seventy or plus seven fifty. Yeah,
so those are pretty good odds. That's plus money. But
they're the fifth favorite, it looks like. And then the
Padres are thirteen plus thirteen hundred, so they're the seventh
best option on the list for National League winners to
win the Dads, I would probably go with the brew Crew.
(15:53):
I'd probably agree with you there. If I had to
pick one, the Cubbies would maybe be my second favorite.
They're plus fifteen hundred, but I don't know if they'll
be able to hang. So I think the Brewers are
probably gonna make the World Series. That's probably your best
bet there. All right, Doc, that's it for baseball. We'll
come back when we do our Sunday Slate. It's time
to get into football.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
We got college football Top twenty five rankings. What a
week that's coming up.
Speaker 4 (16:16):
Yeah, we were going to break it down going from
twenty five to one. Here is your top twenty five.
BYU makes it into the ranking at twenty five TCU
and twenty four. Illinois falls back from nine all the
way to twenty three. Notre Dame in twenty second USC
and twenty first, Missouri in twentieth, Michigan Michigan in nineteenth.
Vanderbilts is eighteenth, Bama at seventeen, Georgia Tech at sixteen,
(16:41):
Tennessee at fifteen, Iowa State at fourteen, Ole miss at thirteen,
Texas Tech at twelve, Indiana at eleven, Texas at ten,
Texas A and m at nine, Florida State at eight,
Oklahoma at seven they lost their starting quarterback for a month.
Big news there this week Oregon at six, Orgia at five,
LSU at four, Penn State at three. Number two is Miami.
(17:05):
Now they've jumped a lot and they look good. And
then Ohio State still sitting at the top.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
Ohio State Universities so reigning defending undisputed NCAA College Division one.
Speaker 4 (17:16):
That is our top twenty five ranking.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
What do we got for good game? What are you look?
Speaker 4 (17:20):
There are four top twenty five matchups, like two top
twenty five teams going ahead to head, So I got
four matchups this week for you to watch out for.
Number seventeen Alabama taking on number five Georgia at Georgia.
That is going to be one of the top one ones.
I do I want Alabama to lose, so I think bad.
(17:42):
That one's going to be a good one. The money line,
if I can find it here? Where are we at here?
It is the money line. Georgia's favorites at minus one
fifty five Alabama plus one thirty Bama plus three on
the spread, Georgia minus three. That's minus one twelve for Georgia.
I'd probably take Georgia. I'm not putting a lock on
anything though. SEC football is so crazy and sporadic, so
(18:05):
I'm not touching that. I'm not always high scoring, yes,
especially with Georgia's defense and the way they play, so
that one could be a toss up. The over under
on the total points fifty three and a half. The
next matchup I have for you is number twenty one
USC at number twenty three Illinois.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
We've got a big ten showdown that one. And Illinois
got manhanded, they got Indy.
Speaker 4 (18:30):
They got shellacked. As some they put it, that was
a beat down Illinois.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
Not the beat down in Philly. That's for something late.
Speaker 4 (18:39):
Illinois is home. It's a noon kickoff, but USC is favorites.
They're minus six and a half on the spread and
minus two fifty on the money line. The over under
on total points is sixty and a half. I don't
know about that Illinois. If they just have a decent defense,
I don't know if it goes over sixty. But I
definitely would take USC and that one. I have no
faith in Illinois.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
Who does Caleb Williams four in that one. He's a
Chicago Bears quarterback, but he went to USC. He's got
a root for USC's he's a lum. Yeah, you better
not show up than he won't.
Speaker 4 (19:08):
The next match or the next game. We've got next
game number four l s U at number thirteen, Ole
Miss another sezer matchups matchup. Ole Miss favorite at home
minus one twenty five on the spread and minus one
and a half on the minus one and a half
on the spread. Excuse me minus one twenty five on
the money line. Yeah, so Ole miss his favorite here.
(19:29):
I would probably take LSU on the road at plus
one and a half. That's minus one oh eight. I'm
not going to make him Tigers. I think they are too.
I think I'm going to take LSU on this one.
And then the last top twenty five matchup we've got
is number six Oregon taking on number three Penn State
at Penn State.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
They're both frauds.
Speaker 4 (19:48):
A big ten matchup there.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
They're both big ten, but they're both big ten four Oregon, Yeah, frauds.
Speaker 4 (19:54):
Oregon was a good team last year. I don't know
how this year fraud Penn State's the favorite at minus
one seventy five on the money line. They're minus three
and a half on the spread. I'd probably pick Penn
State just because they're home, but again I'm probably gonna
stay away from that one. Do you want to mention
Navy is taking on Rice this weekend?
Speaker 1 (20:12):
Navy climbing up the rankings or no.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
They're not there yet, but they look good. They're minus
fourteen points on the spread, So I would take Navy
on the money line, but it's minus five point fifty.
There's no real money there if you're betting. So just
wanted to mention it, big Goats fan, so Go Midshipman
that game kicking off at three point thirty. Jay Dog
Ohio State, the Ohio State University. They got a big
(20:36):
ten matchup. Yes, conference play this weekend. They got They're
at Washington.
Speaker 1 (20:40):
Well I thought they're at Minnisto. No, that's right, they
mind bad. They moved the Minnesota game to prime time
later in the season. So they're at Washington.
Speaker 4 (20:47):
Yeah, and Ohio State is minus three twenty five on
the money line. They're minus eight and a half points
on the spread. Big favorites going on going on the
road to Washington. So I definitely take Ohio State. If
you want to run a little JADAJ parlay, pick Ohio
State and parlay it with Navy. And those are our
two picks for them.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
Did I see that Notre Dame is not in the
top twenty five.
Speaker 4 (21:07):
No, they are their twenty second. They had a weather
delay last week against Purdue, but it was close and
they were gassing up the Notre Dame team and they
didn't look as good as they probably should. Yes, that
does it for college football. Lots of good games make
sure you check your promos right now. If you go
(21:28):
to the promo section on uh the DK app, we'll
say you can get some You can get some boosts
for college football for some parlays this weekend. So always

Speaker 4 (22:11):
Time to break down the NFL Power rankings for Week
four in the NFL. By the way, that was Week
five for college football.
Speaker 1 (22:18):
Just cover who's the worst team in the NFL right now?
In the rankings?
Speaker 4 (22:22):
So we're doing the top ten? I know, is it
the Dolphins in the top ten? No, I'm saying, oh,
in general, yeah, we're not going to make a bet
against the Dolphins. Were I'm not sure, probably either the
Dolphins or the Saints. I think it's going to be
the Saints.
Speaker 1 (22:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (22:35):
I feel like the Dolphins at least they have Tyreek
and they have talent. I feel like the Saints don't
even have that.
Speaker 1 (22:42):
That's debatable too.
Speaker 4 (22:43):
Let's break down your power rankings for Week four in
the NFL, starting out number ten. Number ten is the
Washington Commanders had a decent game actually with Marcus Mariota
behind the helm last week.
Speaker 1 (22:56):
Week he'll be this week as well, because I know
that Jalen or Jaden Daiden rather was in practice, but
I think he was limited.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
Yeah, he's been struggling with that knee problem.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
I think probably.
Speaker 4 (23:05):
I know that Washington fans have they're they're sensitive when
it comes to knee problems with their speedy quarterbacks and
their young quarterbacks. Yeah, so they they don't want to
rush it. I don't think Number nine Kansas City, the Chiefs,
how the Mighty have fallen even though they beat the
Giants last week?
Speaker 1 (23:22):
The Giants I was going to say, is that really? Uh?
Speaker 4 (23:24):
Russell Wilson russ Is cooked, threw it out of the
back of the end zone three plays out of four.
Speaker 1 (23:30):
Jackson dart Era has begun.
Speaker 4 (23:32):
Yes, and they've announced he's going to be starting. I've
got him on my fantasy football team. So excited to
see how that project turns out. The Rams are in eighth.
They fell back a couple spots after the epic collapse
to the Philadelphia.
Speaker 1 (23:45):
Was it a comeback or a collapse?
Speaker 4 (23:47):
I think it was both. I mean, I think that
the Rams they look so dominating in the first half.
I think that Nick Sirianni and the Eagles made amazing
adjustments at halftime. But I still think that the Rams,
I don't know what happened. They just they had it
in the bag. And on top of that, the Eagles
block two kicks the next one. The Baltimore Ravens fall
(24:07):
back to seven. Yeah, they consistently every year lose easy
games at the beginning of the season. That you think
this has in the last.
Speaker 1 (24:14):
Couple of years. Actually, yes, this is maybe it's not.
Speaker 4 (24:17):
Lamar Tampa's in sixth. The Bucks look good. A Mecca
Abuca and Baker Mayfield cooking out there. The Packers are
in fifth. They fell back after losing to the Bear two.
They were three last week. But the Browns have proven
they have a really good defense. Miles Garrett is the truth.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
Nothing else.
Speaker 4 (24:35):
Yeah, that's really it. The Chargers are in fourth, surprising
many as one of the top teams in the NFL.
I know you called them before the season, so surprising
many not j Dog.
Speaker 1 (24:45):
Then they can't take a nap and slide to the
second half, which they always seem to do.
Speaker 4 (24:49):
Yes, they're not a December team usually.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (24:51):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (24:52):
The third place team the Tiger or the Tigers, the Lions.
I'm talking baseball still, he's.
Speaker 1 (24:57):
Got baseball in the brain, folks, Lions, Tige.
Speaker 4 (25:01):
The Detroit Lions are in third. They look really good.
They took down the Ravens on Monday night or Sunday night.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
Monday night in Baltimore. Yes, and they host another AFC
Norris franchise in the Cleveland Browns this Sunday.
Speaker 4 (25:15):
And if they look like they did this week, they
should roll through the Browns.
Speaker 1 (25:18):
Even with that good I was going to say the
Browns might have to curb their enthusiasms of a Packers win.
Speaker 4 (25:23):
Number two in the power rankings are the Buffalo Bills.
They fall back from number one despite beating who they
even play less.
Speaker 1 (25:30):
They played the Dolphins on Thursday, escaped, escaped with a win.
They should have they should have routed Miami, but they
made it interesting.
Speaker 4 (25:38):
Philly takes the number number one, well, they were number
two last week. Their offense had looked really bad up
until the Austrian and when that second half rolled out,
Jalen Hurts finally looked like he was MVP caliber, like
he was in the Super Bowl. Essentially, so Philly bouncing
back and looking good at the end of that game,
giving lots of Eagles fans hopes moving into Week four games. Yes,
(26:00):
we're gonna start off with the first game. We're gonna
break downsday night.
Speaker 1 (26:04):
On Saturday, the game is over.
Speaker 4 (26:07):
I just want to shout out. I threw out a
Thursday night bet. If you're gonna make a bet bet,
as Jay Dog would do, I stole that from him.
But from the bet I threw down on this Thursday
night game, Kyler Murray plus fifteen rushing yards, Seahawks minus
one and a half on the spread, and Seahawks defense.
Anytime touchdown score I think a big touchdown in prime
(26:28):
time is this your lock of the week, No lock right,
just one. I threw down, gotcha? Eight to fifteen, Thursday
Prime Video. That's where you find it. The Cardinals are
plus one ten on the money line. Seahawks our favorites,
minus one thirty. Seahawks our favorite on the spread minus
one and a half as well. So just a little
update there. The rest of your schedule though, for the NFL.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
Will start in London nine au.
Speaker 4 (26:52):
No, not London, it's actually is it Ireland. They're going
to Doublin.
Speaker 6 (26:56):
Oh.
Speaker 4 (26:56):
I thought London next week, which we discussed. Minnesota has
to stay overseas, but they're coming back and then going back.
It's very confusing. The first game is Sunday at nine
thirty a m. In Dublin. The Steelers are hosting the
Vikings for the first ever Ireland game. Steelers are plus
one twenty Vikings minus one forty two. Who you taken?
Speaker 1 (27:17):
I'm taking the Steelers in this one.
Speaker 4 (27:19):
Really, I think I'm taking the Steelers too. I don't
trust Carson Wentz on the road in Ireland.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
On the road, well, yeah, that's a long road.
Speaker 4 (27:27):
After that, the one o'clock slate or the early slate
kicks off with the Giants hosting the Chargers. I'm taking
the Chargers here. They are minus two to eighty five,
Giants plus two thirty. I'm not gonna make that my lock, no,
but I'm definitely taking the Chargers. They're minus six on
the spread. Who you taking Chargers?
Speaker 1 (27:44):
Bolts?
Speaker 4 (27:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (27:45):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (27:46):
Panthers at the Patriots. Patriots are minus two to twenty
five on the money line and minus four and a
half on the spread. Patriots are favorites here. The Panthers
look good last week. They're plus one eighty five. Will
you take it?
Speaker 1 (27:56):
I'm taking the upset. I'm taking the Carolina Panthers.
Speaker 4 (27:59):
Okay, dogs taking the Panthers. Let me know when you're
taking your lock. By the way, the Lions hosting the
Browns Lions by walk. Lions are minus three or five
thirty five on the money line. Browns plus four hundred.
Lions are minus ten on the spread. Browns are plus ten.
Speaker 1 (28:15):
I'm taking the Browns on the spread.
Speaker 4 (28:16):
The Browns on the Lions.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
You mean I'm taking the Lions on the spread? Heard that?
Speaker 4 (28:21):
So you're gonna take Lions as your lock? Minus ten.
That's Jade Dogg's lock of the week. Minus ten on
the spread for the Lions. These Saints at the Bills.
Saints are plus eight point fifty to win in Buffalo,
Bills are minus fourteen fifty. I'm taking the Bills. There's
no money there though, so I'm not going to touch that.
(28:42):
Eagles at Tampa. That's an intriguing one. Who that one
minus one ninety eight for the Eagles on the road,
they're minus three and a half again, the Bucks. You're
taking the Bucks at Hogs plus one sixty four. Okay,
I'm taking the Birds. I'd probably take their spread at
minus three and a half. That one's a little more intriguing.
Washington at Atlanta. Atlanta looked awful last week. Washington minus
(29:03):
one twenty five.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
Big Washington.
Speaker 4 (29:05):
I'm gonna take Washington. I want to make that my lock,
but I don't know. We're gonna keep going for now.
Houston hosting Tennessee. Tennessee plus three ten Houston minus three
ninety five. I smell an upset here. I'm gonna take Tennessee.
I'm gonna take Tennessee here. Tennessee is plus seven on
the spread. But I just feel really confident in Tennessee
and not confident in Houston.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
Okay, I'm gonna take the Texans.
Speaker 4 (29:27):
Okay, Colts at the Rams, I'm probably I'm gonna take
the Rams on this one. I'm gonna take the Colts.
Colts are plus three and a half. I'm gonna take
the spread at at at the Rams, I'm taking the Colts.
The Colts have looked really good in.
Speaker 1 (29:39):
The I think I think the Blooms off the road.
Speaker 4 (29:42):
The Jags are at the Niners, the Miners, Niners are favorites.
I'm gonna take the Niners. They're minus three close. They're
minus three and a half on the spread, minus one
seventy five on the money line. Ravens at the Chiefs.
Big interesting one here, Ravens minus one forty eight on
the road. There the favorites minus two and a half
on the spread. I think I would take the I don't.
(30:05):
I'm taking Casey at Home two. I'm gonna I'm gonna
take the spread plus two and a half, the Chiefs
getting points at home. Bears at Raiders, Jade dog A Raiders.
I'm gonna take the Raiders as well that much. I'm
gonna take the Raiders there minus one fifteen on the
money line. But I'm not gonna I'm not gonna make
that a lock. That one's too sketchy. Packers at the
(30:27):
Cowboy Monday Night Football. Micah Parson's back. I'm I think
this is my lock of the week. I'm gonna take
the Packers at minus They're minus seven on the spread.
I think I'm gonna see if I can get an
alternate line here. If I can get the alternate spread,
I'm gonna move it down to minus five and a
half for the Packers. That's minus one forty four. That's
(30:49):
my lock. So Packers minus five and a half for
my lock of the week, and I'm gonna take them
over the Cowboys for Sunday Night Football, your Monday Night game.
Last game of the week. Jets at Dolphins. There are
two this week.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
It's simultaneous.
Speaker 4 (31:05):
Yeah, So Jets at Dolphins, Jets. I'm gonna take the Jets,
Jay there plus one thirty on the road. If Justin
Fields comes back, definitely taking the Jets. And then the
Bengals at the Broncos. The Broncos are gonna walk onto
the groove of angles. Broncos are minus three to eighty
on the money line. That's our picks. Of the week.

Speaker 4 (31:45):
Network Lightning Round. Cue the sound effects. It is time
to break it down. We've got the Sunday slate for
your Baseball's the final day of baseball before the postseason. Dogs.
Speaker 1 (31:58):
Got an update for us is the pregame on Saturday
between the Red Sox and the Tigers in Boston with
the four to ten first pitch. That's all the Pulse
of New Hampshire. And then on Sunday, as you've alluded
to siege, two oh five pregame three oh five first
pitch the Red Sox and the Tigers, and that closed
out the regular season.
Speaker 4 (32:15):
It looks like it's all day games on Sunday.
Speaker 1 (32:17):
I know they're all it's all day, Yeah, all day
it's all within the three PM window that includes West
Coast games. Yes, so it's just gonna scriple a lot
of things.
Speaker 4 (32:24):
It's gonna be some early stuff out there on the
West Coast, which I'm fine with. Yeah, if you're a
West Coast Dean whatever they call it coast. So we're
gonna break it down, Jay Dogg's going to give you
your picks right now. First matching off, we've got the
Twins at the Phillies. Who you're gonna take, Phils. You're
gonna take it the Phills, Okay, I like that one.
The Twins are eliminated, Pills are in Red Sox hosting
(32:45):
the Tigers. Who you taking the Tigers? I know you're
not taking that. It's crazy to me. You're gonna take
the Tigers over the Red Sox. Even though the Tigers
could eliminate the Guardians somehow, that's not gonna happen. If
the Tigers could win, if that's win out, they could
mess up the Guardians chances. Not that I think that's
gonna happen. Whatever. I'm just saying, it's crazy to me
(33:06):
that you're going to root for a team in your
own division.
Speaker 1 (33:08):
Well, I'm not root for the Socks.
Speaker 4 (33:09):
I would root for the Socks. I'm taking the Socks
over the time.
Speaker 1 (33:11):
I wonder why.
Speaker 4 (33:12):
Anyways. The next matchup Lightning Round Athletics hosting the Royals.
They've looked good recently. Who you're taking the A's I
appreciate that pick. The Angels hosting the Astros.
Speaker 1 (33:23):
Who you got?
Speaker 4 (33:25):
Stros on the road against the Halos. Okay, Reds against
the brew Crew. Ooh, Reds really the upset of the
day there. Brew Crew might be in senior itislere just resting. Yeah,
Rangers at the Guardians. Still an important game for Cleveland here.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
Not really if you count the Rangers.
Speaker 4 (33:43):
They've got The Rangers are eliminated well and their guys
are out. Yes, I would also take Cleveland Dodgers at Mariners.
Interesting matchup, potential World Series. Hoping we'll see who you
taking your the Mariners, yes, of course. Cardinals at Cubs.
Speaker 1 (34:02):
Cubbies.
Speaker 4 (34:03):
Cubbies heard White Sox at the Natties, the the Awful
Bowl Bowl, It's the Awful Series. Yeah, the Awful Series.
Speaker 1 (34:11):
Take the Natties.
Speaker 4 (34:12):
Heard that Natties. Rockies at the Giants. Gotta take the Giants.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
The Rockies always.
Speaker 4 (34:18):
Yankees hosting the Orioles. Oh's, hopefully the O's win that one.
Rays at the Blue Jays, Jays, I'm gonna take the
Rays only.
Speaker 1 (34:28):
You You're gonna You're gonna end on a high note
for Stu Sternberg's ownership.
Speaker 4 (34:32):
Only because the Blue Jays lost a couple against the
Red Sox at home recently. Mets at the Marlins. Mets
heard that, Diamondbacks at the Dads Dad's heard that, and
then the Pirates at the Braves your final game of
the season. Buckos heard that, Buckos. That does it for
your Sunday slate, keeping the lightning round rolling. We're gonna
go right into w n B A. We've got some
(34:53):
Sunday matches there for you to break down. Jy Dog,
who are you going to take in the first match
of the day. It's a three p match Las Vegas
Aces at the Indiana Fever Aces Aces are underdogs forty
seven percent chance winning there. But I also would take
the Aces.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
I like Asia Asia Wilson's MVP, and sure the FISA Collier. However,
though that little streak that Las Vegas went on, the
catalyst for that was Asua Will.
Speaker 4 (35:19):
Speaking of NAFISA Collier. We've got Minnesota links at the
Phoenix Mercury. Who you taken in that one eight pm matchup?
Speaker 1 (35:25):
Mini?
Speaker 4 (35:26):
I am taking Minnesota as well. Sixty six point one
percent chance to win there. Time for NASCAR, let's burn
some rubber in the lightning round. We go from New
Hampshire to Kansas, keeping the speed moving. It is the
Hollywood Casino four hundred at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas.
Kyle Larson has been the winner of two of his
last three NASCAR Cup Series races. At Kansas. He is
(35:48):
the favorite minus five hundred to finish the top ten.
I went with top tens this week, not winners, just
because I thought we'd change it up. Do you have
any racers that stick out to you? Ryan and Blaney
has finished in the top five and last of in
his last seven NASCAR races.
Speaker 1 (36:02):
Denny Hamlin is my favorite. I'll tell you why. Okay,
he's got Cleveland Guardians mojo. He throw out the ceremonial
first pitch for the Guardians, and you know what, anything
in that Cleveland stratosphere is rubbing off the right way.
Speaker 4 (36:15):
Dog is taking Denny Hamlin as his top ten finisher
I'm gonna give Kyle Busch a top ten finished. He's
plus one hundred throwing a flyer out there on Kyle Busch.
That does it for NASCAR, keeping it rolling. We've got
MLS to wind down the final lightning round. Picks here Toronto,
(36:35):
FC Intero Miami, you're taking Miami. Heard that we also
might be able to break into some Ryder Cup. We'll
see Montreal at Charlotte Montreal. Heard that Atlanta at New
England Atlanta. We've got Philly at DC United Philly. We've
got NYCFC at Red Bulls.
Speaker 1 (36:56):
The Red Bulls. I like that, yeah, because Red Bull
gives you.
Speaker 4 (36:59):
We LAFC at Saint Louis City Saint Louis. Heard that
Columbus Crew at Chicago Crew. We've got Houston at Nashville Houston,
the Minnesota United versus Colorado Rapids Rapids. We've got Austin
FC Real Salt Lake, Austin FC San Jose at San Diego.
Speaker 1 (37:20):
San Diego, classest city in.
Speaker 4 (37:22):
America Sporting Case versus LA Galaxy, La Galaxy. And then
we've got Portland Timbers hosting FC Dallas.
Speaker 1 (37:29):
I've got FC Dallas and.
Speaker 4 (37:32):
Vancouver white Caps at Seattle Seattle. Last match Orlando City
at Cincinnati Orlando City. Heard that the odds are incredibly high.
J dogg. We'll just say that they are like twenty
three million. That does it? Betheads. Don't forget Ryder Cup
going on big action there. We didn't really get to
(37:53):
cover it, but probably putting my money on Team USA.
And I'm liking Bryce in this this weekend.
Speaker 1 (38:00):
Think the best golfer in the world is going to
have something to say about this, and now you know
that is who you think, Scotty Scotty Scheffler is going
to have the last word. I think Team USA wins.
Speaker 4 (38:09):
I'm also going Team USA. Of course, Let's go America.
