Speaker 3 (00:32):
It's been a rough start to the season here, a rough,
a rough start to the football season for yours, truly.
I'm I'm down bad right now.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
You're not like dead, are you? No, the bets aren't hitting.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
My picks are zero and four for my locks so
far to start the season.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
And you call yourself an NFL fin No king, I.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Mean I pick. I don't even remember what I picked.
Week one. I picked the Falcons to beat the Panthers
as a lock. They get smoked. Next week, Falcons look amazing.
I pick usf just to cover the spread, not even
to win against the U Yeah, to cover the spread.
They lost by like forty. I could have told you
that the spread was like minus they were. They were

(01:16):
like plus fourteen that all they had to do was
lose by a two touchdowns.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
See, you're the same audience that I told all the
Red Sox have is Garrett Crochet and the rotation. I
just didn't prove me wrong, did it.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
I just I have been down bad. It's been a
rough start.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
To He ignored me when I said that it's.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
Been a rough start. I'm just really, I'm it's it's
been bad. But I disagree you well, it's not how
you start, tell you finished, how you finish. Thank you.
Jade Dogg's off to a better start than I am.
He's two and two on his locks. What was your
lock last week? Who'd you take? It was like the
you took someone? I don't remember. I have to look
at the NFL schedule, but I know that you your

(01:54):
bet hit. I forget who you took, per se.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
It was Cleveland and Detroit.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
That's what it almost to give me, and thens I
guess right, and yeah, and I took the Packers five
and a half on the spread over the Cowboys and
they tie Are you kidding? Which is as are you kidding? Me?
A tie? A tie?

Speaker 1 (02:15):
A tie?

Speaker 3 (02:16):
And it didn't even matter. I knew by the way
by the time they hit overtime.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Yeah, it was over. Football kissed its sister.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
Like Dallas kicked a field goal. Yeah, so even if
Green Bay scored a touchdown, it wouldn't matter. I had
already lost the bet.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
It was over.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
I just couldn't just not only do I have to
lose my bet, but I got to sit there and
watch it against the Dallas against the Cowboys of all teams.
Remind me to never bet against the Cowboys again, because, yeah,
it'd be nice if they lose.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Well, they get the Jets this weekend.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
I don't want to bet against the Cowboys again. I
don't want to. I don't want to lose my bet
and have the Cowboys somehow not lose.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
They didn't even win, No, but they still didn't lose.
It's just frustrating tie. Essentially a loss as far as
I'm concerned.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
Yeah, it's a lot going on today on bet this
We're going to break down football. College football. Baseball's in
the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Yeah, you've got the League Division series and three of
the four matchups are debut matchups. We've got w NBA Finals.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
YEP, Game one. Lots of controversy going on in the
WNBA if you caught Good Morning New Hampshire and Jay
dog and I this on Friday.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Was Friday.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
We talked about the commissioner there and everything going on
with that storyline and the.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
FISA Collier, and well, here's the thing. I don't think
the FISA Collier is going to be giving any Christmas
cards to Kathy Engelbert anytime soon. Not I would be
a commissioner, not at all.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
We're going to break down MLS, pick some games there.
We've got NASCAR coverage college football. I think I already said,
we're also going to.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
You got the top twenty five rankings in college football.
Some movers and shakers going on siege.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Yeah, I know. It's been not the greatest week for
me in sports in general.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
I had the I had.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Georgia over obviously. Oh that's right, and that was a
tough loss. So it's been rough for me. But I'm
here for you. I'm here for the bet heads to
try and yes, put some money in your pocket. Hopefully
at least Jade Dogs won you some money with his
two locks. So far, Jaye Dogg, what do you want
to start with? You want to do baseball first? You
want to do football college football.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
Let's go with uh, let's go with baseball first. The
wounds are still fresh for both of our franchise.

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Yes, it's been not the great the same day, by
the way, not the greatest week. Again. I'm I'm down
bad as a sports fan right now.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
I want to say it. Feel sorry for you because
didn't Georgia win a national championship?

Speaker 3 (04:35):
They won back to back? Actually, so not too long ago, right,
They've they've been, they've been all right in the Eagles
are doing pretty good too.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
So I just won the Super Bowl, right, Yeah, I
shouldn't be come the Boston Red Sox won the World
Series in your lifetime, right a couple of times? Okay,
all right, I don't. I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
I just so baseball I might feel sorry for I
do feel bad. I was kind of rooting for the Guardians.
You know, me and you work together, so I you
know that. Yeah, I'm low key room for your teams. People,
I do not understand this. Some people do not know,
even if I'm wearing the merch that you're a Guardians fan.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Correct.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
And also the other problem is like when you live
out of market like me being an Eagles fan, or
you a Guardians fan. They assume, they assume that you're
riding the coattails of whatever success that they're having.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Right, Yeah, never assume, you know why, It only leads
to more assumptions. You thought I was going something.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
But the cough button. So the Division League Series, as
Jade Dog said, it kicks off this weekend. We've got
Tigers and the Mariners.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
They've never met in the post season before.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Yankees and Blue Jays, they've.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Never met in the post season before. We've got the
Cubs and the Brewers, they've never met in the post
season before.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
And then we have the Dodgers in the Phillies, two
of the many time, two of the projected teams at
the beginning of the season.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Two. Yes, they are before thinking although people thought that
La would be one.

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Of those they maybe they'd be in a different position, correct.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Yeah, I think they They're in a lot of trouble.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
I do too.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
I Mean, he gets the nod in Game one.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
His pitching is up, his pitching is questionable, you know,
he obviously hasn't really been a full full starter in years.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Yeah, and he was wearing the color red the last time.
And on top of that, that team wasn't all that good. Yeah,
And on top of that, the Phillies look really good.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
And the Dodgers, I'm worried they might be a little
over zealous after taking on such a easy team like
the Reds.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
I don't think the Reds belonged there. No, I think
they weren't ready for primetime. No, the Mets, I think
would have if the Mets.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
If the Mets make it, definitely, the Mets are built
for primetime. The amount I.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Think they make it interesting, not necessarily win.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
I don't think they win, but I think they make
it way more competitive than the way the Reds competed a.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
La pitch to Soto the way you did in twenty
nineteen when he played for the Nationals. That worked out
so well for you guys.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
So, now that both of our teams are out, dog,
what are your picks for the World Series?

Speaker 4 (06:58):
Now?

Speaker 1 (06:59):
Milwaukee Brewers in Seattle Mariners, two teams that have never
won it before, right, And also the Brewers they've been
in the World Series. They were in the SuDS Series
in nineteen eighty two, but against the Saint Louis Cardinals.
This is back when the Brewers were in the American League.
They had Harvey's Wallbangers. Harvey Keene, the manager. You know
what Harvey wallbanger is, right, that's a drink Gaett Brewers

(07:21):
Harvey's Waldbang. But wallbangers, you know, like baseball players bangs
the wall. Yes, okay, that's what they were nicknamed affectionately.
Went it went the distance? I think Actually, Tony Kubeck
was on that call. We were recently talked about Tony
Kubeck with the playback. Yes, anyway, the Brewers have never
haven't been in the World Series since eighty two, have
never won it, and the Seattle Mariners are the last

(07:43):
major league franchise, the last one to get into the
World Series. That means the Colorado Rockies have been in
a World Series before the Seattle Mariners have.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
That's wild. I got a question for you. So, yeah,
you're taking the Brewers and the Mariners to make the
World Series?

Speaker 1 (08:02):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (08:02):
Who you picking to win?

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Win this one for you, Bob Uker. I'm gonna take
the Milwaukee Brewers in five games. The Brewers, yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Over the over the Mariners. Hold on, let me write
this down. The Brewers over the Mariners is twenty eight
hundred odds plus twenty eight hundred for exact odds. Okay,
if you want to just pick uh not the player specials,
go back. If you want to just pick them the

(08:33):
Brewers to win, they're plus eight hundred, so you have
not you don't have to put as much money. But
if you think that they're really gonna beat the Mariners,
then it's plus twenty eight hundred. You could win a
lot of money there to check it out. The also
just a little like side bet since Ja Dogg is
predicting Brewers and Mariners and I also think it's gonna
be Brewers Mariners. I'm maybe thinking Cubs, like I don't

(08:56):
think it'll be the Dodgers or the Phillies. I really
like the Cubs this year, but they kind of fell off.
They didn't they didn't really, it's not even that they
fell off. They had to go through the Brewers, and
the Brewers looked really good. Yes, but if you think
that the Brewers or the Mariners are gonna make it,
if you think that's going to be the matchup, then
you could bet on it first time winner to win

(09:17):
the World Series for plus two eighty. If you think
there's going to be a first time winner, it's plus
two eighty for uh, either you know that would be
either the Brewers winning Mariners winning. I don't know if
the Blue Jays won a World Series have Is there
any other team that's in that as the Tigers have won,
the Blue Jays, the Yankees, the Dodgers, the Phillies, they've

(09:39):
all won. So I think the only two teams are
the Brewers and Runners have yet to get to a
World So if you think one of those guys, one
of those teams is gonna win, Skirt put some money
down on them. I think that's really it for our
postseason coverage. Of course, uh there's you know, different lines

(09:59):
on each game, stuff like that, but I think we'll
take that time to I think we'll end it there
see how the divisional series plays out. I'm going to
ride for just I'm going to pick the winners. I
think it's going to be Brewers and I think it's
going to be the Mariners in the World Series. That's
where all I'm going to say for now. I'm not
going to go into each game, but that's why I

(10:22):
think is.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
Going to be the team. So I can name you
the last year they won it all, won it all
quiet the Cubs they one sixteen.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
Yeah, sixteen. Brewers have never won, you know that?

Speaker 1 (10:30):
Yankees two thousand and nine, the Blue Jays nineteen ninety three,
the Dodgers last year, twenty twenty four. That's rugged. That's
I'm mad they're back and you forgot one more. The
Phillies two more, the Phillies two thousand and eight, Tigers
nineteen eighty four. Really I was won the last time
the MotorCity Kitties won it all.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
They made it with Verlander, didn't they?

Speaker 1 (10:54):
They got there, but they didn't again, didn't win playing
in the last time they won.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Rugged.

Speaker 5 (10:58):

You're listening to bet This a production of the Pulse podcast.

Speaker 3 (11:21):
Network College Football. We're gonna do the top twenty five
break it down.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
For twenty five to one since we can't do baseball
anymore because well, now paceball is playing.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
There's less playing, right, Yeah, all right, so we're gonna
go twenty five up, rounding out the bottom of the top.
Twenty five. Arizona State slides into the rankings. Virginia in
twenty four. They jumped up after a big upset against
Florida State.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Shudn't they have forfeited that game because they stormed the field.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
No, they have to pay a huge fine, but that's
not a forfeit.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
They I was joking. Yeah, if I'm running college football,
you get on that, you store my football field. Guess
what forfeit?

Speaker 3 (11:59):
Uh? BYU in twenty three, Illinois in twenty two. I'm
surprised they didn't go up more than after their win
over USC Notre Dame in twenty one, Michigan in twentieth.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Keep dropping boys, miss Zoo in nineteen Miszoo Baby FSU
falls to eighteen after that loss to Virginia.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
Yes, Georgia Tech in seventeenth. I'm pretty sure they're still undefeated.
They had a close one last week, the Vanderbilt Commodore's Commodoores.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
Yeah they're in the top.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
What they're sixteenth?

Speaker 1 (12:28):
Yeah? They're nearing the top fifteen. Folks watch out for
the Vanderbilt Commodore's great baseball program underrated football program, and
they're showing it this year.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
In twenty twenty five, Tennessee after a very close overtime
win double overtime last week, they are in I lost
my spot fifteenth. Iowa State takes fourteenth not Iowa LSU
falls all the way back to thirteen. Georgia falls back
to twelve after they lose to Alabama or the week

(12:57):
before they were top five four something like that. Yeahs a,
that's a rough loss, humble after Alabama also lost earlier
in the season, So it doesn't look good for Georgia.
Texas Tech is eleventh. Bama jumps up to tenth after
beating Georgia. Texas in ninth, Indiana and eighth. Penn State
falls to seven, Rods Texas A and M in sixth,

(13:20):
Oklahoma and fifth. They continue to climb up despite their
quarterback he's going to be out for a month.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
We'll see how they play the following.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
Ole miss Is in fourth, Miami in third. They are
the probably one of you is back. They are one
of the top teams this year. Oregon in second in
Ohio State, still sitting in first.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
Place, the Ohio State University. Yes, right, who are they
playing this week?

Speaker 3 (13:42):
So Ohio State this week, your number one ranked team.
Where is their game? I saw it somewhere. Where is
Ohio State? It is Ohio State. That's right. They're taking
on Minnesota, a big ten matchup.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
I think that's prime time game as well.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
Seven thirty pm NBC in Ohio State on NBC and stadium.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (14:05):
Yeah, in at the Ohio Stadium, yep, the Horseshoe, the Shoe. Minnesota.
The Gophers three and one. Not terrible, but also not
the greatest.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
They're not the champs.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
Yeah, should be an easy game. Ohio State minus twenty
three and a half on the spread. Yeah, so they
are definitely the favorites coming out of it. We have
two games this week that have two top twenty five
teams going ahead to head.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
So top twenty five implications after.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
That, right, And I've also picked out some other games
because there was only two games that are top twenty
five implications. So I'm going to give you some of
the stats on those. Vandy number sixteen at Bamba Bamba
Bama number ten.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
Uh, is that a New State Bamba.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
That is one of that is probably going to be
the game of the week in my opinion, if Vandy
can live up to the hype. They beat Bama last year,
they upset them. It was that was one of the
games of the year. They carried the goalposts down to
the river.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
I remember.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
So that was a big, big game. I imagine it's
going to be just as big this year, except it's
in Tuscaloosa. Yes, it's going to be a lot more difficult.
And then the other top twenty five matchup FSU coming
off of a loss hosting Miami number three. Miami going
to FSU number eighteen, So that's going to be your
other top twenty five matchup.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
SCC versus ACC.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
That is no, those are two ACC teams. That's a
conference matchup. Who was it Miami and FSU. They're both
securas LSU No, no, no, FSU Miami excuse me number
three taking on Florida State. Miami's only four and a
half point favorites.

Speaker 1 (15:39):
In state rival. Yes, right, ACC versus ACC, big time
conference game.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
So s first one is an SEC matchup, second one
is an ACC match Those are your two big games
that are top twenty five and a couple other games.
I want to shout out air Force taking on Navy
if you're into military games like that. Navy obviously looking
really good this year. Forces quarterback looks like he's starting
to change his ways and looks like they've got maybe
a new leader after they lost a lot of seniors

(16:08):
a couple of years ago. So that's supposed to be
an interesting game, but I think Maybe's still going to dominate.
Let me find the spread for you on that. The
next game also that I want to cover, is going
to have a top twenty five team in it. Navy,
by the way, minus twelve and a half on the
spread over air Force, so their favorites. It's air Force

(16:28):
is plus three forty on the money line. They're you know,
definitely underdogs. It's in the Navy's home field advantage like
it's in Annapolis. Should be goats game. The next game,
Like I said, I wanted to mention Iowa State at Cincy,
Iowa State number fourteen taking on Cincinnati. Iowa State plus
one oh two on the money line. Just think that

(16:51):
it's very rare you find a ranked opponent going on
going against a uneranked opponent and their plus money. They're underdogs,
so I just wanted to point that out. That's not
gonna be my lock, but I'm definitely gonna put money
down on Iowa State to win in Cincinnati. I think
the only reason they're underdogs is because they're on the road.
Cincinnati is minus two and a half on the spread.
I would even take that. Maybe is Iowa State plus

(17:14):
two and a half on the spread, so all they
have to do is lose by two or less and
if they win, they cover. So I think that's a
good game to keep your eye on. That's going to
be noon though on Saturday, so if you're listening on
the radio, the game should already be underway. Try and
get money in if you can. If you're listening on
the Pulse podcast network on Friday, get your money in
before the game starts on Saturday.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
That's right, because as you know, on the Pulse Pulse
podcast network, where anytime you want, essentially once you listen
to us yes on the radio though two five pm
on Saturdays. If the Boston Bruins don't get in the way,
you used to say, if the Red Sox don't get
in the way, well they're not getting it in the
way anytime soon.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
Now, the next three games I've got for you Clemson
at UNC. I know a lot of people are interested
in Bill Belichick and they see they've been following him
in college, So I thought this would be a good
one to mention. It's an ACC matchup. Clemson on the
road is minus thirteen and a half points on the spread.
They're expected to blow out UNC. I think UNC was
like plus four hundred on the money line. I'm probably

(18:15):
not gonna put my money into this one. UNC's plus
four to twenty five, so even worse than I thought,
I'm probably not gonna put my money into this one
if I did, though, if I had to pick a team,
maybe I'd go with Clemson. It's crazy to me. Clemson
is one in three and they are fourteen point favorites
over North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Yeah, Will, that's crazy
that they're that far ahead. Maybe I would even actually

(18:38):
throw some money down on North Carolina just to cover
the spread. Maybe they don't lose by two touchdowns. They're
at home. Clemson's one in three. Can they really take
down Bill Belichick? I don't know. We'll see. You'll have
to tune into that one, maybe maybe throw some money
down on North Carolina to cover the spread. Another game
I want to keep my eyes on UVA. Virginia jumps

(18:59):
into the they're twenty four this week, they're at Louisville,
another ACC matches, and on top of that, they just
took down number eight FSU a huge upset last week,
and they're plus one ninety five. Another ranked opponent going
into an unranked opponent's house, and they're the underdog. So
again I thought, maybe this would be a good thing
to throw a flyer down on one ninety five. Not

(19:22):
the greatest odds, you know, like an Iowa State at
plus one oh two, it's pretty much even. You know,
it's not you're you're in the plus money, but it's
still not like you're a super underdog plus one ninety five.
You start to get to like some sketchy territory where
this team is maybe not as good as the home team.
But I still think if you wanted to throw a
flyer down, maybe a couple of bucks here or there,

(19:44):
Uva over Louisville on the money line might be the
the move there. And then the last game, I want
to point out Texas. They are ninth in the nation
at UF in Gainesville. Florida has looked up and down
this season, but they still are an se team. They
still could potentially be as good as one of these

(20:04):
ranked teams. Texas has looked shaky at times, arch Manning
not really living up to the hype potentially.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
You haven't heard anything about that, have you, right?

Speaker 3 (20:13):
And so I think UF is plus one seventy at home.
If you think the Gators have a shot against Texas, chomp,
throw the money down on them. If not, Texas is
minus two to h five on the road in Florida.
I do like Texas over the Gators, but I think
it could go either way. I'm probably staying away from

(20:33):
this one, but it's going to be an interesting game
to watch out for arch Manning in an sec environment
like Gainesville. No matter how bad that team is, that
stadium is always rocking.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Yes it is. And so there's a chance that Florida
could chomp on some steer.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
Yes it could be Gator taken down. Steer will have
to see Gater bait.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (20:52):
Bet.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
Pro Football Time. Less time on the clock, but we're
gonna run through it. We had the Thursday game earlier
in the week. Niners upset the Rams. It's going to
shake up the power rankings.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
Obviously, Patriots got a guy like Mac Jones.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
The power ranking is true. The power rankings they came
out before the Thursday game. They come out I think
on Tuesday, Wednesday day.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
Just the week is over on Tuesday, right after the
Monday game.

Speaker 3 (21:37):
So I'm going to read from ten to one your
power rankings in the NFL this week. Indianapolis Colts at tenth.
They are three and one. The Chiefs jump up into
the top ten. They are ninth, starting to look like
their old step back. They want people to stop saying
that the window is over. The windows closed. The Chargers
fall back to eight, three and one. They had a
tough game against the Giants Jackson Darts debut, where they lost. Surprisingly,

(22:02):
that was probably the biggest upset of the week, one
of the biggest upsets of the season. The Buccaneers seventh
in the Power Rankings, and I wanted to mention they
use their old logo this week on the Power Rankings.

Speaker 1 (22:12):
Yes, they did, because they are taking on the Seattle Seahawks,
who are also using their old logo for the showdown here,
which is both they're playing fifty seasons of football and
they were both the lat those two teams had entered
in nineteen seventy six.

Speaker 3 (22:26):
So they're going to be wearing what the creamsicles are
they hosting?

Speaker 1 (22:29):
No, they don't. They're not wearing see the regular cream
skiles with the orange overall. Then they're not wearing that thing.
They're wearing the white with the creamsicles.

Speaker 3 (22:38):
I still like those, but I would be nice if
they rocked the actual orange.

Speaker 1 (22:43):
The sea bags are going to wear.

Speaker 3 (22:44):
That blue, which those are nice too. I like those.
I like those better than their lime green ones they
had in the fail Mary era.

Speaker 1 (22:52):
Like, oh, you're talking about the like the color rush.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Yeah, I didn't really like those.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
They look like magic marker like a highlighter, a highlighter. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
So the Bucks back to the power rankings. Bucks are
in seventh. Packers are in sixth. They are two to
one and one after a devastating week tie and yes
they are on a bye week this week. The Seahawks
that we just talked about there in fifth three and one.
Rams are three and one. Of course though they lost
on Thursday. That's going to drop the rank, right, that's

(23:20):
going to change. The Lions are three and one there
in third, The Bills are four to no in second,
and the Eagles are first.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
At the top two teams in the NFL right now.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
The last two undefeateds. We've got a busy Sunday slate
for football as well as some Monday games. Is the
when I I'm going to read off the matchups. Yeah,
one Monday game, thank you. Last week we had two
good too, not but again they were not uh they
were simultaneous, were simultaneous, they were not doubleheader. So I'm
going to read off the games to you. Then you

(23:50):
are going to make some picks for me, and then
when you hear a lock or when you.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
Have a lot the lock here we go.

Speaker 3 (23:56):
All right, So the London game this week international game,
Vikings taking on the Cleveland Browns overseas. Who you got
in that one? Bikes, Vikes and if you want to
know spread or money line, let me know. And we're
just gonna make picks, right yea. I will also take
the Vikings in that even though it is we do
have to mention Dylan Gabriel making his NFL debut for
the Cleveland Browns. He's going to be doing it internationally

(24:18):
against a defense like Minnesota. It's going to be a
rough time for Dylan Gabriel. Probably, I'm gonna go with
the Vikings next game, Vegas at Indy.

Speaker 1 (24:27):
That's my lock. By the way, really, do.

Speaker 3 (24:30):
You want what do you want? Money line? You want spread?

Speaker 1 (24:33):
What do you spread?

Speaker 3 (24:34):
You want the spread? The Colts are minus seven, so
they're favored to win by a touchdown? Do you want
to adjust that at all? Would you like it five
and a half? You want to make it like like
two and a half. If you make it two and
a half, the odds are going to go way up,
way way down.

Speaker 1 (24:49):
No, leave it at seven, all right? So you hear it.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
Jade Dogg's lock of the week is the Colts minus
seven over the Raiders, so the Colts to cover by
a touch down, and Jade Dog's taking the Colts obviously
over the Raiders. I would also take the Colts. I'm
not going to make that my lock. Denver at Philly,
I'm going to take the Eagles. But who are you
taking Philly? You're taking Philly as well. It's in Philly, right, Yes,
in Philly. The Broncos their defense hasn't lived there. They

(25:18):
just don't look as good as they should.

Speaker 1 (25:20):
Yeah, they need some seasoning Cowboys At the Jets, I'm
taking the Jets.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
The Cowboys have one of the worst defenses they did.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
They have the number one offense but also the worst defense. Yes,
who are you taking Jets? You're taking the Jets here,
So we're doubling down on the Jets. The Giants at
New Orleans. Jackson Dart, who was going to be drafted
by all accounts by the New Orleans Saints, was not Giants.
Got them Giants. The Saints fans are going to see
what they're missing.

Speaker 3 (25:44):
I am also going to take the Giants, and you
know what, Jade Dog, this is going to be my
lock of the week. I'm going to take the Giants
money line. I'm going to take plus one oh two
for their money line is my lock of the week.
You could also take them on plus one and a
half on the spread, which means they could lose by
a point and still you'd cover, but that's minus one ten.
I'd rather go for the plus money if I think

(26:05):
they're gonna win. So we're both taking the Giants. We've
got the Texans at the Ravens. No, Lamar Jackson, correct,
the Texans are now favorites on the road. Yes, Cooper
Rush starting for the Ravens. Who you taken?

Speaker 1 (26:17):
I think the problems continue for the Baltimore Ravens. I
am going to take the Houston Texas.

Speaker 3 (26:22):
I think this is gonna be their worst season since
twenty fifteen. They're gonna I think they're gonna fall apart.
Next game Miami at Carolina. No Tyreek Hill. Maybe Jalen
Wattle can step it up, but we'll have to see.
I'll take the Dolphins Dolphins on the road over Carolina.
They're minus one twenty their favorites and their minus one

(26:42):
and a half Dolphins their favorites on the road a
few times.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
I'll take the Dolphins.

Speaker 3 (26:47):
We have the Arizona Cardinals hosting the Tennessee Titans.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
Cardinals.

Speaker 3 (26:52):
I heard that Cardinals want to I wanted to make
this my lock, but at some point cam Ward is
going to turn Yes.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
No, absolutely, Maybe it's not like this game though.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
Yeah, I don't think so either. The Buccaneers going to Seattle.
We talked about this the throwback game. Yeah, who you taking?

Speaker 1 (27:09):
I'm going to take the Bucks.

Speaker 3 (27:10):
The Bucks look really good. They put up a good
game against Philly. Yeah, and the Eagles just keep coming
back from behind. I also like the Bucks, even though
the Seahawks are good. The Bucks are plus one sixty
and they're plus three and a half on the spread,
so all they have to do is lose by a
field goal to cover the spread. I really like that.
I'm probably putting money on it. It's not my lock,
but I like it. Next game, Detroit at Cincy.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
Oh, good grief.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
This it might be. This should be the lock.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
This is Detroit.

Speaker 3 (27:36):
Detroit is minus ten and a half on the spread.
I think it should be more.

Speaker 1 (27:40):
Yeah, it could be.

Speaker 3 (27:40):
It could be fourteen and a half. They're minus six
hundred on the money line.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
We're both Cincinnati quarterback, we're.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
Both taking the lines. I'm surprised they haven't traded for Jamis.
But at press time, yeah, at presstime, the Commanders going
to the Chargers. I don't know if Daniels is back yet.
I think it's still Mariota Chargers coming off a loss
and their home LA. I really like LA here.

Speaker 1 (28:02):
The other LA team couldn't get it done this past week.
Maybe it's time for this LA team to get it done.

Speaker 3 (28:08):
Chargers are minus won fifty five on the money. Sunday
Night Football, the Patriots on the road taking on the Bills.
Patriots are plus three thirty, Bills are minus four to
twenty five. Bills are minus eight and a half on
the spread. Yeah, do you feel in Bills?

Speaker 1 (28:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (28:22):
I think on my original schedule I had maybe the
Patriots taken this one. I don't remember, trying to look
real quick in now, I had the Bills winning it.
I think I had the Patriots winning Indian Fox later
in the year, but not this one. The last game
your Monday Night football, Chiefs going down to do all.

Speaker 1 (28:42):
Who you taking? I think Kansas City's back, Okay, I'm
gonna take. I actually think this is gonna be a
good game. I do too, but I think Kansas City
wins it.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
I think so too. They hire minus one eighty five
on the money line, minus three and a half on
the spread. Jacksonville could cover the spread. Maybe it's a
flyer situation, who knows, but I think that's gonna do it.

Speaker 3 (29:26):

and a lightin instrac Sorry getting a little distracted. It's
the Lightning Round. We're getting into it. We've got MLS
to break down, We've got WNBA, we're the finals potentially
going to talk on the controversy a little. We've got

(29:47):
NASCAR as well, playoffs going on. They had the New
Hampshire Race recently, so very exciting stuff going on there.
We're just going to get right into it. I think
we're gonna what do you want to start with mls?
Get start them, get it right out of the way,
all right, So we're gonna pick your favorites for this week.
I've got d C versus Charlotte, DC hosting Charlotte.

Speaker 1 (30:06):
I've got Charlotte. Okay.

Speaker 3 (30:08):
We've got Montreal versus Nashville hosting Nashville.

Speaker 1 (30:12):
I've got Montreal.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
Heard that FC Dallas hosting Galaxy.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
I've got the FC Dallas.

Speaker 3 (30:19):
We've got inter Miami hosting the Revs. I don't even
need to ask you. And they're in Miami. It's like, yeah,
I just for reference, I'm pretty sure the Revs are
plus five point fifty to win, and they're gonna they're
gonna Miami's like minus two.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
They're gonna make a messy.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
Yeah, a messy. I made a messy. We've got the
Union hosting NYCFC. Who you taking, I'm gonna take the Union.
Heard that Orlando taking on the crew hosting the Crew Columbus,
I'll take the crew. Heard that the Crew. We've got
the Red Bull hosting Cincinnati.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
Red Bulls give you Wings.

Speaker 3 (30:59):
Heard that, uh, Minnesota hosting Sporting Casey.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
I'll take Minnesota.

Speaker 3 (31:06):
Heard that Austin FC hosting Saint Louis.

Speaker 1 (31:09):
Saint Louis, Okay, We've.

Speaker 3 (31:12):
Got Chicago Fire hosting Toronto FC.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
I'll take the Chicago Fire. Heard that Fire is this
Saturday and Sunday matches or these.

Speaker 3 (31:21):
These are Saturday, all all the ones we've said so far, Saturday,
and then we have a couple Sundays. The Real Salt
Lake hosting Colorado Rapids Colorado. Heard that we have the
Seattle Sounders hosting the Portland Timbers the West Coast match.
That is a good match up. Those are two of
the legendary legacy teams in the MLS.

Speaker 1 (31:41):
And they are rivals because they're in the Yeah, it's
that Oregon PNW Northwest. Absolutely, I'll take Seattle.

Speaker 3 (31:48):
I heard that Seattle, Uh Vancouver another PNW team taking
on San Jose. Kind of PNW team that is it?
Is it nor Well? I mean I know that juicy
it's like Central California, though it's not even like NorCal.
That's what I That's what I was like trying to say,
is like I don't even know if it's Norco San Jose. Yeah,

(32:09):
you're taking San Jose. Okay, and then last match San Jose.
By the way, that match the Vancouver one. That's Sunday
LAFC versus Atlanta that's in LA. That's another Sunday. You're
taking La. All right, All that together, we've got nineteen million,
nine hundred and sixty five and twenty nine odds. We're

(32:29):
gonna take thirteen cents out of my DraftKings account that
I've got and we're gonna put that down.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
What's not going to land you if you get it?

Speaker 3 (32:35):
All if you hit it, it's twenty five thousand, nine
hundred and forty eight dollars for thirteen cents.

Speaker 1 (32:39):
Put the money in the bag. Put the money in
the bag.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
Make sure, by the way, the first match is that
is right after bet this on the air. So make
sure you pay attention because if you're if you know,
maybe you can cash out early and win a little
bit of money and you don't have to bet on
all the games. Hitting so makes you keep an eye
and you might be able to cash out. What do
you want next? NASCAR WNBANBA Finals? All right, We've got

(33:06):
three game series W NBA Finals.

Speaker 1 (33:10):
The rest of seven.

Speaker 3 (33:11):
We've got the three games. First three games already scheduled, Yes,
guaranteed yep, game four obviously it is guaranteed two.

Speaker 1 (33:17):
But uh but five, six and seven are not promised.

Speaker 3 (33:20):
Right exactly. So we're gonna preview sort of the the
first three games. I'll have you pick the winners kind of,
and then I'll give you some odds on MVPs and
series odds. So first two games are in Vegas, the
Aces are have the home court advantages they do. Who
are you going to take in the in the matchup here.

Speaker 1 (33:39):
We're going to take the last Vegas Aces to win
in six games.

Speaker 3 (33:42):
You're taking them in six, So you're taking what games
one and two they're gonna win?

Speaker 1 (33:46):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (33:47):
And then game three is in Phoenix. Do you give
that to Phoenix?

Speaker 1 (33:50):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (33:50):
All right, so you're gonna have the home the home
winner win the first three games and then for the series. Yes,
the Aces are minus one thirty five Phoenix, the Murcury
the plus one fifteen. They did just take down Nafisa
Collier and the Minnesota Layota Lynks previously, so they're not there.
Ain't no scrubs.

Speaker 1 (34:10):
No, Alissa Thomas is a superstar yes, we should. We
talk about her a lot more. Yes, Asia Wilson is
the best player in the in the in the WNBA.

Speaker 3 (34:17):
Well, so, j Dog already took the Aces at minus
one thirty five. He said he's going to pick them
in six. Speaking of Alyssa Thomas and Asia Wilson, those
are your top two MVP odds for the finals MVPs.
Who who do you think is gonna win? Asia Wilson,
she's minus one twenty five. Alissa Thomas, she's plus one seventy.
Make me a case for Thomas before you pick Wilson.

Speaker 1 (34:39):
They got to win it all for that to happen
if because again, they're not going to award it to
someone who Okay, they're not going to do that.

Speaker 3 (34:45):
Yeah, it's not a Connor McDavid situation.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Correct, They're not doing that. Asia Wilson is going to
win the w NBA's finals MVP and the last Vegas
Aces are going to win again in six. In six
the Phoenix Murky.

Speaker 3 (34:58):
Mark Jay Dogg's words, Yep, not a lock, but pretty
much a guarantee. And that's Jay Dog's picks for the WNBA.
We're gonna round it out with some NASCAR.

Speaker 1 (35:06):
The playoffs continue, it's starting to get hot.

Speaker 3 (35:09):
This week. They are at Charlotte, Yes, and conquered North
Carolina Cord. They've got the Bank America Bank of America
roevall four hundred. The previous winner here Kyle Larson, Yeah, Larson,
I think is second to win. I've got the top
ten finish So I want you to pick three people
you think could finish in the top ten number one
odds SVG minus twenty five hundred and then Kyle Larson

(35:33):
minus three forty, William Byron minus two to fifty, Bell
minus two to fifty.

Speaker 1 (35:37):
Chris Bell.

Speaker 3 (35:38):
You got Bell, Chase Elliot's minus won seventy five, aj
Allmendinger's minus one fifty, Chase Brisco's minus one twenty five.
Give me three names.

Speaker 1 (35:48):
Chase Elliott yep, Chris Bell, Chris Belliott and ah Almendinger
aj Allmendinger.

Speaker 3 (35:54):
I like that one, all right, those are your three
to finish in the top ten at the Bank of
America rovall four hundred. That does it. For the Lightning Round,
that's Sunday in Charlotte or at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It's
in Concord, Yes Carolina. So that does it for the
Lightning Round. Uh, that does it pretty much for bet
