Speaker 1 (00:02):
You're listening to Beyond the Cheaters, The Detective Gomez Files,
and now here is Detective Gometz. Welcome to another episode
of Beyond Cheers The Detective Gomez Files Files. Want to
Do Today, Welcome to the podcast. Today, we're talking about
infidelity trends in twenty twenty five. I want to give

(00:23):
you five of it that you need to be aware of.
You know, nobody likes to have a broken heart. No
one likes to be on the other end of somebody cheating.
Nobody likes to lose trust in somebody. Nobody likes to
wonder at night, whether they're spouse or significant there's going
to come home. Nobody wants to watch like that. It's

(00:46):
not healthy. It's not It's hard for you to focus
at work, it's hard for you to lose appetite, you
can't sleep at night. All kinds of things happen to
you when you think somebody cheap. It's so tell you.
I want to give you five friends they're coming up

(01:06):
in twenty twenty five that you need to be aware of.
So let's get right into this. It says some things
as they say here. You know, infidelity trends heading into
twenty twenty five. The first one is the rise of
emotional affairs or physical Now I'm gonna talk about this.
Emotional infidelity is becoming more common than physical cheating, driven

(01:30):
by deeper online connections. Many individuals view emotional bonds has
more damaging to relationships than physical encounters. Okay, so everything leaves,
lives and breathes on the internet, right, So you're flirting
somebody online and you're doing this, you're looking for love.

(01:50):
I mean I was looking. I was working on a
case smart looking for somebody. One of my clients think
their spouse may be on the dating side. And there's
all minds of dating sides, Christian singles, Hispanic singles, agency
signal singles, all kinds of you know, you know single websites,

(02:15):
and then there's these these uh you know women who
are looking for sure dating websites, all kinds of websites
thought so, and then there's just your your typical I
had a client other issue was a part of a
Facebook dating app, part of Facebook. So there's different ways
to connect with different people and then you get emotionally
connected to them. I think lots of times people get connected,

(02:37):
they see something online, they go I think this would
be good for this person, and then they connect with
them and the next thing O they're sending pictures or
sending money and all kinds of things like that. They're
emotionally connected to them. That would be physical emotions. That's
what you got to worry about. Number two says increased
female infidelity In twenty twenty five. Women are engaging in

(02:58):
extra marital effect rage closer to men, probably due to
the great financial independence and changing social norms our relationship
our More women are independent now, they've got their own business.
They're doing their thing. You know, the man can work,
but the women's out there making money too, and if
she's going to do it, she's going to do its her.

(03:19):
The race are closer to the men, So the men
are still feeding more, but the women are catching up
and they catching up and they ain't putting up with
it like they used to. No long tell Agill and
the man would work and we would sit at home
all day long. You know, Now they're out there doing
what they gotta do and they're not holding back. I
have to agree with this guy. A lot of my

(03:40):
cases that I do get involved the women cheating. You know,
they're out there doing what they want and they're not
putting up with the physical abuse for abuse for it,
and they're moving on. So be prepared for that, guys,
that's happening. Number Two Digital I mean, I'm sorry. Number
three Digital platform worms fuel cheating. Okay, dating app social

(04:03):
media sites like actually Madison are making easier to engage
in discrete affairs. Digital communication allows relationships to flourish secret Okay.
So I was always about being secret, you know, back
in the good old good days, I would say, you know,
you could, you know, it was hard. It was hard,
actually harder to cheat. Now it's you know, your phone,
you gotta lock on it. You want to text somebody,

(04:26):
send somebody money, you want to photograph and delete it,
all these things you can do quickly fast. And all
these madison Is want these platforms where they say, if
you're married, you can cheat. There's other married people who
want to cheat too, but it's all a big secret,
so they promote it. It's, uh, you know, some people

(04:47):
okay with that. Some people don't mind sharing their wives
or husbands. But there's more and more of that happening now.
And I said, there's a lot of digital platforms that
fuel cheating, and it's okay with it. Some sides I
don't want to put up with it, but there are
a lot of sides that are actually promoting. So don't
be surprised if you're on the off side or if

(05:07):
you're a search or something. There's other sides besides actually
manas and actually promote cheating. And it's happening all the time.
Number four normalization of infidelity and younger generations gen Z
and millennials report higher infidelity rates. The subseen cheating is

(05:29):
a less taboo. The concept of micro cheating a kind
of gives a sign of disloyalty, and it's gaining attention.
So here you go gen Z Millennials like, it's no
big deal. It's it's not the big cheat. But you
know it's just yeah, it's not really chees it's called
micro cheating. And we've discussed that before the past. So

(05:52):
if it's happening the younger generations GAL, they say it's
okay and they get over it. Uh. And then the
number five revenge of revenge, revenge and retaliation affairs. Now
it says here there is a growing, growing, there's a
growing trend of revenge cheating where individuals engage in affairs

(06:16):
has retaliation or perceived neglect or suspect and fidelity in
their partner. So payback. If someone you're gonna cheat on them,
they're gonna pay you back. It's easier to do it.
Like I said, it's not like you have to go
to bar meet someone to cheat with. Now you can,

(06:39):
you know, send them a DM on their on their
Facebook or Instagram and there you go. It's gonna be somewhere,
it's gonna have a drink, do whatever. Okay, it's that quick.
It's not like you have to go buy someone drinks
at there and be asked with them for thirty or
forty five minutes and hope you get a piece of
fast or anything like that. Now you just send them
on so them, Hey, this is what I want. You
want the same thing. Let's meet somewhere, Let's do it.

(07:00):
And it's happening. It's happening a lot more. It's happening fast.
So do not if you're gonna cheat his notice it
could come back to you. You know. Revenge cheating is
a growing trend and the people do it. You know.
I've had a couple of clients myself that had told me, Oh,
I think my wife is paying me back because I
didn't come home the other night, or I didn't do this,

(07:23):
or she found a phone omber she said she paid
me back for it. It happens. People get paid back
and that's the way they're doing it. So these are
five friends going into twenty twenty five that some things
you do need to worry about of it set what
called key key five Key infidelity Transfer twenty twenty five.
They need to be aware of. And like I said,

(07:44):
I mean, if you're gonna do it, know that somebody
may pay you back for it, and you mean don't
like it, So don't do it. If you're gonna do it,
be careful. Don't get caught. No, hope, I don't catch it.
Emotional affairs, I think is really really big. It's happening
a lot, and it's happening a lot more than that

(08:05):
people know because it's all done through the internet. Those
go at least one more time. The first one is
rise of emotional affairs or physical Number two increased female
infidelity guys look out, number three, Digital platforms fuel cheating,
Number four, normalization of infidelity in younger generations. And number

(08:32):
five revenge and retaliation affairs five new trends in twenty
twenty five. You need to be where often it comes
down to infidelity and just be aware of those and
know that it could happen to you. It's tough, I mean,
nobody wants to get their heartbroken, but just try to
remember that this could happen to you and it's not

(08:53):
worth it at the end. So think about those things
in twenty twenty five. If you're going to cheat, and
if you're not cheating, you got nothing to worry about,
of course, but do you think so one's cheating on you?
Look at this, listen to it and know that a
real thing. But you know that stuff, I mean, cheating,
it's just it's never going to go away. And I

(09:13):
know what, as a priorate investigator, my clients still ask
me they got to see it to believe it. They
got to have that hard evidence of something's going on.
That's the base basic you know, basic formula is to
get the evidence so they can see with their own eyes.
At the end of the day, all the digital stuff's okay,

(09:34):
but sometimes they want to see it all right. So
some of the things being part of our podcast today,
