I did a 360 overview into my research to include information on current US maternal health outcomes and policies from official sources like the CDC and HHS. This will allow me to compare Kennedy's proposals with existing frameworks and identify any specific provisions or gaps related to pregnant women.

'Making Our Children Healthy Again,' primarily focuses on addressing childhood chronic diseases. Key areas of concern include ultra-processed foods, environmental chemicals, the impact of the digital age on children's behavior, and the 'overmedicalization' of children. While the direct focus isn't on pregnant women, I'm noting that themes like environmental toxins and food quality could have indirect implications for maternal health.

Maternal Mortality Review Committees (MMRCs) and Perinatal Quality Collaboratives (PQCs), are conspicuously absent from the new HHS structure and proposed budget.
