In the amended complaint filed under case number 1:24-cv-07977-VSB, plaintiff Shareka Sherrod accuses Sean Combs and a network of his affiliated companies—including Daddy’s House Recordings, Combs Global, and multiple Bad Boy Entertainment entities—of engaging in a pattern of egregious misconduct that she alleges amounts to sex trafficking, assault, battery, and other civil rights violations. Sherrod claims she was manipulated, exploited, and abused while under the influence and control of Combs and his enterprise, which she describes as operating with a coordinated structure designed to lure, intimidate, and silence victims. The complaint also names numerous “Organizational Does” and “Individual Does,” suggesting additional perpetrators and enablers whose identities may be revealed through discovery.

Sherrod’s lawsuit demands a jury trial and asserts that the abuse she suffered was not incidental, but part of a broader, systematized operation of exploitation embedded within Combs’ business empire. The complaint details alleged psychological and physical harm, and frames her experience as one of many involving women recruited and harmed under similar circumstances. Through this civil action, Sherrod seeks not only monetary damages but legal accountability for what she claims was a deliberate and sustained campaign of abuse and cover-up enabled by corporate infrastructure and protected by power.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
What's up everyone, and welcome to another episode of The
Diddy Diaries. In this episode, we're going to take a
look at a lawsuit that was filed against Diddy, originally
by an anonymous Jane Doe. Well, now this Jane Doe
has been unmasked and her name is Sharika Sharad. So
let's dive into the amendic complaint filed by Miss Sharad

(00:25):
case number one twenty four DASH CV DASH zero seven
nine seven seven DASH BSB Sherika Sharad versus Sean Didty Combs,
et cetera amendic complaint and demand for a jury trial introduction.
Defended Shawn Colms drugged and then raped the plaintiff. The

(00:45):
aggravated sexual assault occurred at one of Defended Shawn Colmes
frequently held infamous after parties, this time in Las Vegas.
The conduct described herein is shockingly typical hal Colmbs conducted
himself for many years. Many individuals and entities facilitated and
conspired with his abhorrent conduct. Shawn Comes believed he was

(01:07):
above the law. He is not. For a decade, Shawn
Colms aka Diddy, described herein as Colmbs abused, molested, raped, assaulted, threatened,
and coursed men, women, miners, and others for sexual gratification,
to assert dominance, and to conceal his abhorrent conduct. He
accomplished these acts by and through a criminal enterprise built

(01:29):
on his success as a rapper, record producer, and record executive.
Colmbs is one of the wealthiest musical artists in the world.
Behind the facade of being a three time Grammy Award winner,
discovering and developing multiple famous musical artists, and ranking on
Forbes list of the highest paid entertainers in the world,
there existed something sinister, a dark underbelly of crime, sex, trafficking,

(01:53):
force labor, kidnapping, bribery, and prostitution. Colmbs is a menace
to society, women and children. While his wealth has kept
them above consequence for years. Colmbs now faces the awesome
power of the American judicial system and ultimately a jury
of his peers who will be asked to punish him
for the deplorable conduct described here in Colmb's businesses. Colmb's

(02:18):
business enterprise is central to the pervasive acts of sexual
assault and abuse committed by him. During the last decades.
Colmbs operated his business headquartered at various times in Manhattan
and Los Angeles under a variety of United States based
corporate entities, including bad Boy Entertainment, bad Boy Book Holdings Incorporated,

(02:38):
bad Boy Entertainment LLC, bad Boy Productions LLC, Daddy's House
Recording Studio Incorporated, and Ceopco LLC, DBA, Colm's Global, FKA,
Colms Enterprise LLC, Colm's Enterprises, and Colm's Global collectively the
Comb's business corporate entities in the Colm's Business portfolio including

(03:00):
record labels, a recording studio and apparel line, and Alcoholic
Spirits Promoting Business, a marketing agency, Talent Discovery, a television network,
and a media company. On the surface, each of these
businesses served a legitimate purpose related to entertainment, music, and
other subjects, but in reality, Colms Buy and through himself

(03:22):
and his agents, employees and contractors, use these businesses to
sexually assault, abuse, threaten, and course hundreds of individuals through
sexual quid pro quo schemes as well as to take
advantage of individuals with impunity. Thinking the victims would never
seek recourse, Combs and his agents, employees and contractors through

(03:42):
these Combs business would tell victims this is what it
takes to be famous. What are you willing to do
to become a star and perform this sexual act or
else to course the victim into performing a non consensual
act for the gratification of Calms and his cohorts. Members
and associates of the Colm's Business engaged in and are

(04:03):
attempted to engage in, among other activities, sex trafficking, force labour,
interstate transportation for the purposes of prostitution, coercion and enticement
to engage in prostitution, narcotics offenses, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and
obstruction of justice. The Colm's Business constituted an ongoing organization

(04:25):
whose members functioned as a continuing unit for a common
purpose of achieving the objectives of Colms. Colm's pervasive history
of sexual assault and violence. For years, Colms and his
business engaged in a persistent and pervasive pattern of abuse
towards women, men, and miners. This abuse was at times verbal, emotional, physical,

(04:47):
and sexual. As part of his pattern of abuse, Colms
manipulated both men and women to participate in highly orchestrated
performances of sexual activity, with both commercial sex workers and
unsuc expecting partygoers. In some cases, these were individuals who
were contractors or vendors. In other cases, there were random

(05:07):
individuals pull from a hotel, lobby, a show, or off
the street. Colms insured participation from these individuals by, among
other things, obtaining and distributing narcotics to them with or
without their knowledge, controlling their careers, leveraging his financial support
and threatening to cut off the same, and using intimidation, violence,

(05:29):
and illicit drugs. Calms, while celebrated for his business acumen
and influence in the entertainment world, has often been described
in more troubling light as powerful, manipulative, and problematic. His
aggressive tactics, both in business and personal dealings, have drawn criticism,
with many viewing them as someone who leverages his power

(05:49):
to intimidate and control. This darker side of Colms persona
has been underscored by the numerous lawsuits and allegations that
have surfaced over the years. Despite the undeniable success, his
rise to the top is marred by a reputation for
being ruthless and manipulative, using his influence in ways that

(06:10):
have left a trail of legal and personal controversies, including
but not limited to, the following a nightclub shooting nineteen
ninety nine, Combs was embroiled in a high profile case
related to a nightclub shooting in New York involving his
then girlfriend Jennifer Lopez and rapper Shine. Combs was acquitted
of all charges, though the case remains a significant legal

(06:33):
event in his career. B multiple assault allegations, Colmbs has
faced several lawsuits related to alleged physical assaults, many of
which have been settled out of court. See business disputes.
Colms has been involved in various business related legal conflicts,
particularly surrounding his Shawn John clothing line and other ventures.

(06:55):
These disputes often involve contractual disagreements and trademark claims d
claims by Cassie Ventura. Colm's former girlfriend, Cassandra Ventura filed
a lawsuit accusing him of years of physical, emotional, and
sexual abuse during their relationship. Cassie alleged repeated instances of assault,

(07:15):
core sexual acts, and drug use, all contributing to an
environment of fear and manipulation. Colms particularly fancied the use
of the popular date rape drug Rufinol or GHB to
commit heinous, non consensual acts of sexual violence and rape
on the countless victims. Colms often would secretly use the
drug in an alcoholic beverage served as as parties, typically

(07:39):
champagne or lemon drops. Partygoers were forced to consume the
alcoholic beverage containing GHB either prior to entering or wallet
Comb's party. There are also allegations of Calms dousing victims
and motions or similar body oils also laced with GHB,
so the drug would be absorbed through the victim's skin

(08:00):
and make it easier to assault him or her. Further,
it's well known that Colmbs had a practice of lacing
water bottles with other substances such as x annex, and
distributing them at parties. Combs recurrent and pervasive physical abuse
took place for multiple decades. His tendencies of violence and
sexual assault were no doubt well known among his colleagues, employees, agents,

(08:24):
and businesses. On numerous occasions, from at least on or
about nineteen ninety six and continuing for years, Combs assaulted
women and men by striking, punching, dragging, throwing objects at
and kicking them. Colmbs also assaulted children, both physically and sexually.
In nineteen ninety six, Combs was found guilty of criminal
mischief for threatening a photographer from The New York Post

(08:47):
with a gun. In ninety nine, he was arrested and
charged with second degree assault and criminal mischief in connection
with assaulting a record executive. Combs was arrested again the
same year for his involvement in a shooting at a
club in New York. Another instance of violence occurred in
Los Angeles hotel in her about March twenty sixteen, which

(09:08):
was captured on video and later publicly reported, where Combs
kick dragged and threw a vass at a woman as
she was attempting to leave his hotel room. When hotel
security staff intervened, Combs attempted to bribe the staff members
to ensure silence. In the past year, numerous civil complaints
have been filed by plaintiffs who allege that they have

(09:30):
been sexually abused by Combs between nineteen ninety one and
two thousand and nine. In November twenty twenty three, three
lawsuits were filed against Combs under the New York Adult
Survivors Act. Cassie Ventura, an artist signed to Bad Boy,
sued Combs in New York for rape and physical abuse.
She alleged Colmbs facilitated these acts by and through supplying

(09:52):
Miss Ventura with copious amounts of drugs and urging her
to take them. Beginning in two thousand and six, Joy
Dickerson Neil also sued Calms in New York, allegend Calms
drugged her, sexually assaulted her, and secretly recorded the assault.
In ninety one, Liza Gardner, who Calms met at an
event hosted by a record label affiliated with Bad Boy,

(10:14):
sued him for allegedly raping her and a friend in
nineteen ninety or ninety one when she was only sixteen.
In December of twenty twenty three, an anonymous plaintiff sued
Colmbs in New York for allegedly drugging and gang raping
her in two thousand and three she was only seventeen
years old. This victim alleged that employees and business associates

(10:35):
of Calms, through their affiliation with Bad Boy Enterprise, lured
her to Calm's home, where Combs then raped her. In
February of twenty twenty four, Rodney Little Rod Jones, one
of Combs's former producers, sued Combs for allegedly forcing him
to engage in unwanted sex acts and sex trafficking, among
other allegations. Mister Jones alleged that Calms regularly drugged others,

(10:58):
including miners, I given them drugs laced with ecstasy, MDMA
and other date rape drugs. Mister Jones alleged that Colmbs
in fact drugged him as well in order to commit
acts as sexual assault. In May of twenty twenty four,
former model Crystal McKinney and April Lamprose sued Combs. Miss
McKinney alleged that Colmbs drugged and sexually assaulted her at

(11:20):
his recording studio in two thousand and three, mimicking what
has now become an owned pattern. Colmbs promised Miss McKinney
to help with her modeling career in exchange for engaging
in sexual conduct with him. Miss Lampros, an intern at
Arista Records, which was an owner of bad Boy, also
sued Combs in May of twenty twenty four in New

(11:40):
York County Supreme Court for raping her on multiple occasions,
secretly filming these acts and showing the recordings to multiple people.
Miss Lampros also alleges that Colmbs ordered her to take
drugs on one occasion before he raped her. In July
of twenty twenty four, former adult film star Adria England,
who was employed by Combs as an entertainer at his

(12:03):
infamous white parties that brought together the biggest names in
the music and entertainment industry, sued Combs in the Southern
District of New York for sex trafficking, alleging that he
required her to consume drinks lace with ecstasy and secretly
recorded the sexual acts. In September of twenty twenty four,
singer and songwriter Don Richard also sued Combs. Richard was

(12:26):
employed by Combs as part of the girl group Danity Kane,
formed by Combs, and later as a key member of
combs Ban Ditty Dirty Money. She sued Combs in New
York for sexual assault, false imprisonment, and subjecting her to
a hostile working condition due to her gender, including degrading
comments and threats. Miss Richard has alleged that Colmbs regularly

(12:47):
supplied others, including miners, with copious amounts of drugs and alcohol,
and subjected them to sexual acts while they were sedated
and or unconscious due to the drugs and the alcohol.
In September of twenty twenty four, a federal grand jury
in Manhattan indicted Colmbs and charge them with sex trafficking, racketeering,

(13:07):
and the creation of a criminal enterprise in which he abused, threatened,
and course women and others around him to fulfill his
sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct. The
indictment explains that Colm's abuse of women and miners was
enabled and conspired with by the employees, resources, and influence
of the multifaceted business empire that he led and controlled,

(13:30):
creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in
and attempted to engage in, among other crimes, sex trafficking,
force labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice. Colm's
long history of violence unequivocally establishes that his actions are
motivated by gender, both men and women. Calms as a

(13:52):
profound contempt for women and a desire to dominate both
miners and other men. His conduct shows a long standing
practice of denegrad, defeating, and attempting to humiliate men, women,
and children. His practices and desires are different for men, women,
and children, but his actions are unequivocally motivated by the
victims particular gender and age. Plaintiff's allegations herein substantially mirror

(14:18):
Calm's prior conduct and established through criminal indictments and other lawsuits.
Through this case, plaintiff seeks a full measure of justice
from a man who thought his power, money, and influence
rendered him untouchable. Plaintiff joins many other victims by filing
this complaint in hopes the common Voice makes it impossible

(14:38):
for Calms to assault another person ever again. All right, folks,
we're gonna wrap up right there, and in the next episode,
we're gonna pick up where we left off, and that's
with parties. All the information that goes with this episode
