So today we're gonna be reading Psalmchapter one, eighteen, verse six.
The Lord is for me. Iwill not fear what can man do to
me? A lot of things threatenus when we speak in the name of
Jesus Christ. You know, inRomans chapter eight, we are reminded that
nothing can separate us from the loveof God, which is in Christ Jesus.
(00:21):
You know, there's a lot ofpeople out here now saying, don't
say Jesus, don't even mention him, exclude him out of conversation, out
of the way you help people,Just don't say the name of Jesus.
And this is nothing new under thesun. You know, first century Christians
have undergone on this very same threats. Even Jesus Christ suffer this as well.
(00:46):
However, we should not fear manand what they may do to us.
We have God on our side,and we have a greater call.
We have the great commission to goout and preach in the name of Jesus
Christ. You know, Jesus saidthat if you are ashamed of me and
my word, then he won't Hewill go before the Father, and then

we won't be received in his sight. As told in Mark chapter eight,
verse thirty eight. You know,when we proclaim the name and live out
our lives opposite of what the worldlives. You know, people see that
we're different. People see that.You know, they don't curse, they
don't drink, they don't smoke,they don't engage in idle babbling, they
(01:38):
don't engage in wicked speech or watchwhat I watch. They're different. They're
different, and brothers and sisters.That is our testimony. We should not
fear what man may think, say, feel, or do to us.
As the Psalm that said, herethe Lord is for me, I will
(02:00):
not fear fearing man is evil.That's what the devil wants you to think
that you have something to be afraidof when it comes to man. But
Jesus said, fear him who candestroy both body and soul in hell,
and that is God. Don't fearman. Man can't do anything for us
or to us. Man is likeus of the same nature. We must
(02:25):
proclaim the name of Jesus Christ throughoutthe entire world, no matter who likes
it, or no matter who doeslikes it or not. Jesus Christ is
our savior, and we have nothingto be ashamed that we have nothing to
fear, because, like the Palomansaid, what can man do to me?
(02:47):
God is on our side. Hepromised to never leave us nor forsake
us. God promised to give usstrength in our time of need, words
in our time of utterance. AndBrothers and sisters, we must trust in
God to bring us through. IfHe brings us to it, he will
bring us through it. And wejust must have faith, rely on Him
