She would be the first person to sue if she got hurt! It's called "safety" or rules so stupid people can't sue us.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
The parks have definitely been a hotbed of the lawsuit
business lately. One of the most recent was the woman
who got hit in the face with a duck while
she was riding a coaster at Sea World in Orlando
and was suing the park because they didn't have adequate
signs warning her she might get hit in the face
of the duck while riding the coaster. I don't know.
This one comes to us from a fifty five year
old woman who was at the Iplay America Amusement Park

(00:22):
and was taunted by children. She was trying to ride
the go karts right, and the kid who was operating
the ride wouldn't let her go because she and I
quote didn't meet the minimum height requirement for the go
kart ride. Think about that for just a minute. I
have a very short and small wife, but even she
can ride the go carts. So she gets belligerent and
is like, I've written these all day to day. It

(00:43):
was never a problem. You need to let me on again.
These safety regulations are there for your safety, and if
he's measuring you and you don't fit, you can't get on.
No matter how many times you wrote it. You can't
do it so then a bunch of kids who got
impatient with her started name calling her up well things
like Karen and so she decided to file a lawsuit
against the amusement park worker for not stopping the harassment. Look, man,

(01:08):
if I'm like a twelve year old kid and I'm
in line with you and you're a grown adult, you're
not big enough to get on the goat cards, I'm
probably gonna get a little chippy too.

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
